LOVE IT! Amazing facility & the work done there is extremely important for turtle conservation. Everyone should go, learning to leave less of impact on our planet is an invaluable lesson. Seeing the turtles close up REALLY makes the experience!

Nice close up views of a variety of turtles. Interesting to see the work being done to help these sick and injured animals. A lot of "cold-stunned" Ripley's turtles from Cape Cod there at this time.

Prepare your donations for a place that takes of these beautiful sea turtles, its small but so neat, clean and educational. Check the website for event hours. PAM was amazing with my kids explaining about the small aquariums on the right. You can see how all the staff loves what they do. Let's all help to keep this place running. There is a cafe, a souvenir shop and close to the beach too.

The people are all very friendly and informed. They have a nice gift shop with clothes, jewelry, toys ...anything related to their mission. There is a vet hospital on site where you can watch them work through the windows. There are outdoor tanks with rescues in them that are being care for until their release. They have learning stations and a little museum also on site. It's very educational and a great place fir field trips. There is a playground in the back of the building. There is plenty of parking.

Great place, we took the afternoon public tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but he talked way too long in the front area (over 45 minutes). Those in the group with small children or mobility or back issues couldn t stand that long so many lost interest or went elsewhere to sit and wait. Last year we went on the evening tour and would recommend that over the afternoon as the center is closed and you don t have visitors trying to get around you during the tour.

The place is super cool! Great gift shop and areas to see the turtles. It s so cool to be able to be right in front of their tanks, I even have a favorite that I keep coming back to see. Overall great place and great experience!

Wonderful place to visit where really important work takes place. It doesn't take much time to see everything, but they do also have a great gift shop. No official admission cost, but donation expected( hard not to when you see the turtles in need of their help).

Fantastic display about Turtles and their habitats. It was really neat being able to see where they rescue the turtles and treat them at the hospital. Also, they had all of their long-term resident turtles in tanks outside so you could see then and read about what happened to the turtle.

Nice place to experience Seaturtles life. You can even watch in operations. A hospital that does not require admission. A beautiful beach is also very close, so you can spend a full day there.

This is the best sea turtle rehab facility on the east coast of the United States! Anytime I have visitors from out of state or out of town, they are told "You will be going to Loggerhead Marinelife Center." Since relocating to South Florida on 2005, I've been here once a year since 2007 and have gone to 2 turtle releases, which I can't find the words to describe my feelings while watching these beautiful sea creatures make a dash towards their ocean home.

Have fun looking at the turtles and the turtles look at you. Birthday party going on
Children being educated about they heal turtles and why we should not litter the ocean with plastic trash.

Not only have I been several times since moving down here to South Florida, I am always amazed by how lovely the staff, vets, and volunteers are. The place is under construction at the moment but there are plenty of sea turtles in various stages of healing to see and learn about. We also were lucky enough to see a hatchling make its way to the ocean! I adopted a sea turtle last visit because not only did she have my name but she was received on my birthday! It s a wonderful, wondererous place to visit. Highly recommend!!!!

This center exceeded my expectations. I was blown away by how friendly the staff were. You will not be disappointed if you visit. There is no fee to enter but donations are welcomed. Oh, my husband said the bathroom is VERY clean.

We came here to see a few turtles but found a lot more. Yes there were a good number of rescues on display and they are impressive to watch, especially the larger ones.

The kids got to take a short intro class on turtle nests. After that when we were playing on beaches in the area everyone was respectful of the nest markings and they told us all about the codes on the markers. I had no idea they would soak up so much info.

Excellent job the staff is doing caring for the injured sea turtles. Very interesting diversity of turtles with a variety of injuries. Also access to a beautiful Florida beach as well as nature trails.

We went for turtle fest. The center is nice, very good facilities. You can get very close to the sea turtles, and the staff is very knowledgeable. Turtle fest is very busy, I would have enjoyed it more on a less busy day.

This place is great. They do wonderful and important work for sea turtles. It's free entry (amazing) though they do ask for donations - and why wouldn't you! You can see the turtles in their rehabilitation tanks as well as watch through the window to the treatment suite where they treat the injured/sick turtles.

Went in June as a day trip. Great place with friendly, knowledgeable volunteers that are happy to answer questions about how the turtles are rescued & rehabilitated so that they can return to sea. Good info in the museum area about the local flora & fauna as well as some informative exhibits. Very cool turtle skeleton hanging from the ceiling! Great gift shop with plenty of stuff to buy for a good cause.

The gift shops have all kinds of souvenirs, the sea turtles were glowing with health, and if they weren't, they were on their way to recovery. I got to experience a behind the scenes tour with an awesome guy, I think how make was Frank Seitz? He was from Baltimore and gave an amazing tour. You could tell he was passionate about the place, and really knew how to answer all kinds of questions and comments. I had a great time and got some amazing photos. I learned that sea turtles can go in a CT scan at a regular hospital, and they sometimes have allergic reactions to medicines just like us.

I love visiting this place, and seeing the work the center is doing with turtle rehabilitation and education. I've experienced the turtle nesting and the releases at night and it's done with a lot of preparation and consideration for the wildlife.

My husband and I visit every now and then and I love seeing the turtles, reading their stories, and learning more about how to protect them. We actually had our wedding there back in February and it was a great place for us in addition to knowing the money to rent the space was going toward something good. The support staff was excellent and I am very appreciative of their help on that busy day. Thank you for all you guys do!
