This is the BEST place to eat in Harrisonburg, VA. The Lemon Poppy Seed pancakes were out of this world delicious, add the homemade jam and the homemade maple syrup!!!! The vegan sausage and seasonal veggies!!!!

I love this local resturant and can remember about 12 years ago when it was owned by Ron Copeland and was a soup kitchen on Mondays who now owns Our Community Place where there are activities, a church service on Sunday, and meals free of charge for the whole community on the days it is open.

The Little Grill Collective has a small diner type vibe. The staff as well as the customers are all very friendly people; and the food is delicious. I'll definitely be visiting again, very soon!

The food is great. The service is slow and not good. I had to wait 5 minuets to get butter and syrup for my pancakes. Coffee and water refills took forever. They were not busy at the time. Just slow

My breakfast of eggs and home fries was way overcooked. No one checked on us until we were ready to leave and then it was like, well, sorry. My husband liked his omelet. The orange juice is fresh squeezed.

Best breakfast you ll find anywhere remotely close to the LGC. Awesome breakfast burrito and friendly staff. It definitely has a hipster atmosphere but has welcoming and nice vibes. The next time I m in the area, I will be back.

I had one of the best breakfasts I ve ever had in my entire life here. The staff is SO friendly and they were big help even though the place was packed. Little Grill Collective is everything I want in a restaurant. I want to eat here every day. This is just after a first impression. Keep it up guys!

Like a diner but with more community and better coffee. The prices here are ridiculous for how good the food is (and that's a good thing). Get friendly and get comfortable, two things that never cease to occur here. Social diets: gluten-free, vegetarian, dairy free.

We love going to this little place. Has a fun, energetic vibe! Also has more veggie and vegan options than most cafes in Harrisonburg. Unfortunately, I can no longer take the vegan breakfast foods they serve. However their Mexican food is great and can be made vegan.

I just wish this co-op included someone with a little more knowledge of how to prepare delicious, HEALTHY food. If you go here for breakfast, be prepared for eating some heavy, high-fat food and virtually no fruit or veggies to help offset all that fat.

For vegans, their tofu "scramble" is flavorful, but it is really cubed tofu that has been heavily seasoned and fried. Nothing like the moist, lightly sauteed tofu scramble recipes I make at home that have lots of healthy chopped veggies mixed in. What wouldn't I give to be served a breakfast like that!

Their side of soysage is a heavy, sticky patty that tastes too much like mushed up turkey dressing. Even the way they served my Everything Bagel today was way too heavy! It was brushed with butter or Earth Balance and then flattened and cooked on the grill - far too long. This was first time I've ever had a grilled bagel! Very disappointing.

This is really just how they like their food, though, so I did not complain. All their vegan breakfast foods disappoint me bc they leave me feeling fat and heavy after I eat them. Really need some fruit to lighten them up!

I had their buckwheat pancakes the other day, and they were way too thick ( 3/4") and really heavy and pasty. No amount of Earth Balance or real maple syrup could help them go down easily. Just sticks to the mouth. Ugh!

They are very vegan-friendly at TLG, so my hubby and I will continue eating here, just not for breakfast! Instead, we'll go when they are serving authentic Mexican food, which can be made vegan for us. Used to be served just once a week. Not sure now, but hope more often. THAT food was truly delicious!

Favorite place in Harrisonburg and one of the few places where I don't have to look at the menu to see what I CAN have but to get to pick what I WANT to have, so many vegetarian options! I can even get a reuben or biscuits & gravy, both are delicious btw ;-) Love how dedicated they are to fresh and local ingredients as well, it definitely shows in the quality of the food. Love you guys

Awesome place for breakfast! Omelette and breakfast burrito were delicious. Coffee was great, service was prompt and friendly. Locally sourced food with veggie options but also real eggs and breakfast meat available. Doesn't look like much from the outside but comfortable inside. Hope we can come back soon.

This restaurant used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast. The past few times though, the service has been atrocious and the food is not even better than a national chain. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Absolutely amazing restaurant tucked away on an unassuming street in town. Potato boat blew my mind - so it's definitely recommended. Basically all ingredients are sourced locally and when the cooks put em' all together, life is made.

This place is a little gem! Was passing through on my way home to NC from Philly and Harrisonburg was the halfway point. I am vegan and I am so glad this place came up when I searched for vegan restaurants. Don't judge this book by it's cover. The food here is hands down the best I had my whole trip...including the "vegan greats" in Philly. I had the Lambert's way breakfast platter. It came with soysage, scrambled tofu, home fries and groovy gravy, plus a side. I got the vegan chili. And don't leave without grabbing a vegan oatmeal, chocolate chip cookie for the road . You won't regret it . Great prices and great food. I will be back! And the customer service was top notch!

Awesome food as always! Great local restaurant that serves fresh and locally sourced food. Vegan and vegetarian items are staples.
We ate there the other day. This is the potato boat with a fried egg added and a side of groovy gravy to go on top. Delicious!

I can't begin to explain the amazing experience I had at the Little Collective. Everything was amazing! And the fact that the owner was out on the floor with her staff is just Awesome! Everything was fresh and local! So much so that I went to have breakfast multiple days the week I was in Harrisonburg. Definitely a recommended location.

Has a very nice list of vegan dishes. I had vegan sausage, biscuit, and scrambled tofu. It was pretty good but the scrambled tofu wasn't the best I had. The waitress was really kind, even with it being packed she still made time to ask us if we needed anything else.

Had their sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit for Sunday brunch. Food and service was excellent. A great place for locally sourced food, as well as lots of healthy food options (vegetarian, gluten free, etc). Would definitely recommend!

Cute restaurant, mainly vegetarian with a few dishes for us carnivores. All locally sourced produce and drinks, very friendly staff and clean tables. Can't ask for a better brunch location.

The blue monkey pancakes are truly wonderful. The rest of our experience was a bit of a let down. Slow service, waaaaaaaay over cooked potatoes, and a mushy biscuit that was about the size of a half dollar

This is the hidden gem of Harrisonburg! Been around since the dawn of time (kidding...maybe) and everyone who works there greets you with a smile! They are so accommodating to your dietary restrictions and the food is always delicious. Whenever someone is in town I always take them here to show them how amazing The Friendly City is!

Approx 28 min wait which isn t really the big problem. The problem was the 35 mins it is taking to Make an omelet. I suppose I m the one at fault for not just going to grocery store, buying eggs and making one myself..

I love this joint and whenever I have to make the drive down I-81, I time things so I am hungry and ready to eat by the time I get to Harrisonburg, home of this hippy-run gem. This time I got the tofu scramble, which is curry-licious. The portion was small, but it was inexpensive enough that I could have ordered two servings and still felt good about the cost of the meal. If locally-sourced restaurants are your thing, you gotta stop in.

What a wonderful breakfast find! I had lemon poppy pancakes made with fresh lemon juice and topped them with fresh blueberry preserves - delicious, different and so filling. I also had a fresh strawberry lemonade that was so tasty and refreshing that my husband had to order one for himself. Great service and food!

Best breakfast place in Harrisonburg hands down! I'm not vegetarian and I love the food. They have local bacon and eggs with blueberry buckwheat pancakes to die for. Ask for the veggie hash with an egg on top, delicious!
