Unfair and deceptive practices. Lindsey is basically stealing from residents because 1) they don't make the terms of the lease available prior to withholding the deposit 2) making tenants pay when they don't have possession of the apartment 3) cannot guarantee move in dates while still withholding the funds and 4) require a mandatory cleaning fee for vacuuming and painting which should be the responsibility of the landlord.

Bentonville has very limited apartment options and Lindsey is taking full advantage of this and skimming tenants.

I wish I could give them zero stars. We always paid our rent on time and left the place cleaner than it was when we moved in. At the end of our lease we gave our 30 day notice and moved without a problem. An employee told us that we could even move out a month early if they used our deposit for the last months rent. And so we agreed and she said that there would be a little left that we would have to pay but that we would have 6 months to pay it off. A few days later we received a bill in the mail for the last months rent and that we had 7 days to pay it or they would send it to collections. Needless to say, they ruined both of our credits. The employs were only nice the day we signed the lease and thereafter they treated us like trash.

Actually I would rate Lindsey Property Management minus a couple of stars. They hold a large monopoly of apartments, rentals, and properties in Northwest Arkansas. Many apartment complexes are rundown and have shady management. A few of the apartment complexes are very nice, a bit pricey for what you get, and beware of the fine print in the contracts. They're not the only game this region.

I see from the other reviews that I'm not the only person who has negative feelings toward this management group. Their properties have some of the worse staffing and as a whole they do not live up to the expectations they offer their residents. I would never live on any property managed under Lindsey.

This company get you in their complex and set you up on taking your money! My apartment is nice. I can't complain. A couple of people in my front office are nice. But this company is horrible! They will sabotage your water bill by making something leak in your apartment and make you triple pay on your bill. They tripled my water bill for 3 months! Then tells me they are not going to reimburse me because the report was sent to them late! I knew it was going to be something when they put our water bill together with our rent. My light bill is not as high as my water bill. Then they have this prejudice and rude woman call you (I think her name is Debbie) she doesn't let you explain your story. She talks over you and is not helpful at all. I can't wait until my lease is up! I'm tempted to break it.

All the time in the world would not suffice to write a review that adequately expressed my sincere and heartfelt distaste for Lindsey Management. I have found the staff to be unnecessarily rude, inaccessible, and conveniently "out of the office" when tenants have questions.
Do yourself a favor and DEAL WITH ANYONE ELSE.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.

Can t say I m surprised, but I just got notified that this so called Christian establishment , aka Lindsey, will be offer absolutely no grace during this global health pandemic. They will be serving up evictions promptly. That s pathetic.
To add insult to injury, and having already moved into a far subpar apartment; I was just notified by the office that they are adding a pet deposit, and monthly fee on my service dog. Starting the first of April. If it s not paid, we risk being evicted. It s the 25th of March, we moved in around November 1st. Our dog was on the application, on the lease, and the proper paperwork was submitted. I m a disabled Veteran, medically retired from the Army after serving two tours in Iraq and becoming injured. Lindsey, your teaching deep for money, seemingly out of fear during this pandemic. I can assure you this, it will cost you far more than it costs me. Moving forward, unless you want to take this in a more suitable direction, we ll soon have our day in court.

I wish I could select 0 stars, the apartment manager where I lived was very rude and disrespectful, not at all helpful and does not care about the residents personal belongings. For some reason Lindsey Management thinks its OK for apartment managers to speak to residents like an angry parent would their children or a drill sergeant to his subordinates.This place is disgusting with dog mess all over the grass. People let their dogs mess on the concrete and where people have to walk and management will not clean it up, one time a big pile of doo doo was on the concrete and children and adults kept stepping in it by accident and tracking it all over the place and the pile remained their until mother nature took its course. People drive through the parking lot like its a local street exceeding speeds well over 10mph. Residents are treated like trash here,.

Where to start...

Where to start...
Me and my room mate tried to rent from Spring Lake apartment in Russellville...they told us it would be ready by the third...so my room mate rented a Uhaul and came from Alabama...

We call them on the 2 and ask what time we can move in, they tell us it won't be ready until the 5th, so we say okay, an extra day won't hurt.
We call them on the fourth, they tell us it won't be ready until the 6, this went on three times and the final time they told us was the 9th. We got tired of the service we were getting and took our service to another place in town.

But wait. There's more!
We paid a security deposit of $250, we didn't move in because it was their error. They tell us we csnt have our deposit back. We call headquarters, and we get attitude.
All they want to do is keep your money, no matter if their in the wrong or not.
Stay away from this place.
They're thieves.

Honestly, please don't waste your time, or your money getting into ANY LINDSEY MANAGEMENT PROPERTY!!!! Its very unfortunate that I have lived at one of their properties for almost three years, and I am breaking my least and buying a home because I cannot deal with this anymore. (I am having to pay first and last month rent and will pay additional if I don't sign something, which it does state in your contract if you break lease you pay X amount, besides the point.) My neighbors along with the staff are rude and very inconsiderate. They allow these people to continue to have jobs when several people have complained on employees. You'd think I'd get a bit of a break considering I have been dealing with my neighbors. I have mentioned several times to the office about my specific neighbors (along with other neighbors of mine who've also had problems) and how there are more than just 4 people living in that two bedroom apartment, and the fact they have 6 cars to the one unit. Nothing has been done and I m not the only one who has complained to the office about my neighbors. I mean my building doesn't even have a light pole to shed light on the vehicles. (we don't have a building on one side because I live at a dead end.)
Rent goes up, and there is nothing new to show for it. I have emailed corporate about several concerns in the past, and they just don't care. Go figure, just like every other big corporation I just don t understand how this one stays in business. I can't live near people who slam the door every morning waking both me and my child up. Its so sad, I m sure all their properties have so much potential.

I also didn't mention I put a deposit down for my and my boyfriend to do a transfer. They are only allowed two transfers PER month. That s goes for all properties. Me and my boyfriend live separately, but on the same property. We have been waiting since summer, and really don't know how long it will take. Can't use the deposit to go towards my 1190$ towards my early termination either. Please please please your research before moving into any Lindsey Managment property. All this being said I am looking into taking some some sort of action due to the negligence. Make sure you get copies of everything you sign. Just for any legal purposes just in case you do decide to move into one of their properties they will try to screw your over anyway they can. It s a shady company.

If you could give "0" stars I would, maintenance came into apartment on several occasions without notice, and staff is very inconsiderate and rude. Approached Lindsay Management about complex gouging us for ridiculous charges and they just laughed! You are better off sleeping in your car than renting from these worthless people.

I used Lindsey Communications through my apartment...

I used Lindsey Communications through my apartment complex, The Link in Columbia from June 2014-May 2015. My partner and I used the services throughout that time, and shut services off once we relocated in May of 2015. My partner recently moved back to the apartment complex in which we lived, and when he tried to turn on cable/internet services that he and I had a past due balance of $300+. When I called this morning at 8:15 am the lady who answered the phone was short, cold, and rude. She had a sarcastic undertone in her responses and did not have any answers to questions I asked. I was then forwarded to the acting supervisor Matt. I explained to Matt. I explained to Matt the the balance wasn't the issue, however the company did not follow proper procedures to ensure that we knew about this delinquent account. He informed me that they tried to send a notice once and it was sent back. This company has multiple forms of contact information from both my partner and I, and when asked why there was no other form of communication used, he stated that they too many customers, and don't contact them about past due balances. I asked for the collection agency contact information, they didn't have it. I asked for the corporate office's information, he would not provide it. Not only were they rude and insensitive to the fact that we need internet services to succeed in school, they continued to deny that they contacted us. My partner and I set up forwarding addresses and have been receiving mail from our old address, I don't know why their notices were not forwarded as well. This company is ding bad business and has horrible customer service. The fact that they could not provide proper information is outrageous seeing as though they service so many people. Had we not called to set up services again, we would have never known about this balance with Lindsey Communications. I do not recommend this company at all.

Shady company. They stole $250 from my wife and I. We filled out an application for the Link at Norman and paid the $50 app fee (understandable). But then they asked us to pay the $250 security deposit. We paid it thinking it was part of the credit check. The next morning we decided to not live there because they wouldn't let us see the actual unit. When we called they said that we were already approved for the apartment and that we couldn't get our $250 deposit back..... I was shocked that this is how they run their business and treat customers. Everyone we speak to says that it's their company policy and "Everyone you speak to will give you the same answer". This is plain robbery.

Why can't I give a negative star? Everything about this place is crooked. I gave $50 for app fee and was told it was not refundable, (which I understood) they showed us the model, and I couldn't find anything wrong. When we got back to the office the lady said they would except us, and we was asked to give $450 deposit I'm assuming because of our credit, we was never given a apartment number, a few days went by and they said they had a apartment number, so we go to look at it, this time nobody goes with us. The step leading up stairs was completely destroyed, and they put a piece of wood in its place and it was split, we walk into the room and the smell was awful throughout the place, looking in the bathroom there was black stuff all over the top of the shower, the floor was nasty, we go back to the office and they said they couldn't give us our deposit back, said when we signed the app form it also stated that you forfeit all if you decide not to rent!.. Do not give this place any money until you see YOUR apartment. They pulled the old bait and switch on us.

If you want to rent from here, ask to see the apartment before you put the utilities in your name. Also, do a complete check of the apartment before you move in. After you move in, write everything down on the "statement of apartment condition" sheet. If you do not, you will be held responsible for any cleaning or damages.
These are not luxury apartments!!! Do not be fooled by the model. These people play the bait and switch game!
To keep from losing your deposit, do not rent from this company!!!!

omg I'm so happy this bully has 1 star rating from 44 reviews!!! Well deserved. People please stray away from this company and its entire apartment complexes. They treat all clients like trash!! No professionalism or transparency. I'm surprised they are still up and running but they will crash.

someone needs to take this bully down. i tell you those 1 star reviews are not a joke. i guarantee you once another leasing company establishes in our area Lindsey will lose more than 80% of its residents, and thankfully so. they should and will be sued. it's just a question of time.

Not only will they dodge around showing you an apartment until after you're trapped in an "unrefundabke deposit" but when you do get an apartment riddled with problems and attempt to have someone else take over your lease, they break the lease contract agreement and take your deposit and secure a second deposit from whoever takes over your lease! They're nothing but money hungry criminals. It's a good thing most of their apartments appeal to people who don't have money, cause I'd love to see someone with a lawyer give them a run for their money.

Rude, snobbish and low-class. Their upper management has delusions of grandeur and act like royalty. Just terrible to work with. The company cuts corners on maintenance and staffing, and very obviously care little for the concerns of the thousands of people who live on their properties. For them everything comes down to cost, whenever they can go cheap vs. quality, they will. There are many things here that have been broken for years! For example this is a gated community with proximity access cards, but the gates are broken, and the cards don't work. Pool is brown. Hot tub is broken. One tanning bed is broken. Weight machines need repaired and even replaced. If possible, it's best to avoid living at their properties.

My husband and I live at one of the apartments in Rogers and this is the WORST company! Maintenance is lazy as all get out. They don t even give you a notice of when they are coming to check things. Oh and they decided to spray paint something below our apartment and the smell was so strong I had to go sit in my car. Also pregnant with our first child so I couldn t stay in the apartment inhaling that. Such a bad experience for us.

I should have read the reviews. My bad. We needed a short-term lease for my son and his roommate in Conway at The Fairways at Nutter's Chapel. We had an agreement and had paid our deposit, but the whole thing fell apart because of several lies and instances of deception by the staff regarding short-term leases and apartment availabilities. We were able to get our deposit back, but they tried to keep our application fees. The Resident Relations office in Fayetteville has been no help at all. I've mostly spent my time with them on hold, only to be asked after 15 minutes to leave a message and once to be hung up on because my name wasn't on the lease (though the credit card was in my name). We've filed a dispute with Chase Bank so they won't get any of our money. Luckily, we found a much better place in Conway. There are so many better places than a Lindsey complex. My advice is to take your money elsewhere.

Were there for three years and was told by main office that all we needed to do was give a thirty day written notice and that was all. They also made us pay the rest of the lease, so be very careful with these people. They Will tell you anything to get you in and will strong arm you after.

If you can avoid it - PLEASE do not rent ANYWHERE from this company. Find a private landlord. This company cares 0% about you as a human being.

Also I ve been in places where it is required to give 1 month s rent if you break your lease early (which we did because of how terrible management was) but 3??? You pretty much can t ever leave without paying $3000 unless it lines up with your lease. Don t do it. As a tenant who paid on time and never had a complaint submitted about them for 3 1/2 years (but that doesn t matter - again they care nothing about you) - don t rent from Lindsey.

I signed a 12-month lease here. During the winter my heater wasn't working at all and I had to call and nag 3 times to get the heater fixed. They kept coming over to fix it but would leave and say "nothing is wrong." Finally they found the problem and repaired it, but in the meantime I froze. My 12 month lease is up and I called to find out how much notice I needed to give before I left at the end of my 12-month lease. They require a 30-day notice, informing them you will be leaving at the end of your lease. This seems very silly to me because if you don't leave after 12 months you would have to extend the lease, so if I don't notify you that I'm extending the lease then of course I am leaving, right? That's not the end of the world but I called and I was lied to and misled by one of their employees. The girl I talked to said that they didn't need 30 days notice, and that was more of a technicality. She said as long as I let them know by April 20th, 2014 that I would be OK. So I continued to make other living arrangements and just recently went to let them know I'm moving and they had a form I had to sign. I was just informed I would lose my $500 deposit because I didn't give them enough notice informing them that I was leaving my apartment. Keep in mind, it's a 12- month agreement. I am NOT leaving early or breaking my lease early, I'm leaving as scheduled and agreed to!! And the deposit is called a security deposit to protect the complex from damages and misuse of the apartment, or in case of eviction! Not for leaving on time! This is stealing $500 cash from me!! I even called in early March and their own employee misled me and lied to me. If I would have been told I need to fill out paperwork and give them written notice that I'm leaving then I would have given them 30 days of written notice, of course!! I'm not breaking my lease and had I not been lied to then I would have given 30 days written notice and none of this would be happening. This is Grand Summit Apartments fault, not mine. Their staff members were nice to me at first when I moved there, but now they are rude to me every time I call or try to get help. They all try to be very vague and never answer a question straight. Just terrible customer service and a shady way to do business. This is unethical and I hope nobody ever rents from here and they go out of business. Don't rent from here no matter what. They never plow the driveway even and the driveway is steep and there was ice on it and people were always getting stuck. The gate doesn't even work 90% of the time so there is no protection. Grand theft auto happened at the QT down the street, it's not a safe neighborhood. I'm also extremely clean and I'm leaving the apartment in immaculate condition. There is no reason that they have to steal my money! They have to clean it and inspect before they can show it to future tenants anyways, so it's not like I cost them money by losing future business for them. None of it makes any sense. I'm so angry at this point that all I can do is warn others not to do business with this place.

I do not recommend this company for anyone. They do not clearly explain charges made to your account and all of the apartments smell horribly of smoke. If I could give zero stars I would. They purposely leave certain information out of the lease and take advantage of first time apartment residents. They say the rent is due on the 1st of the month but automatically withdraw the money from your account on the 3rd. Oh, and the only way to pay is for them to enter your account and withdraw the money. I've only lived here for one month and they've left a bad taste in my mouth. Please do not move here if you want your money.

I moved out properly and even early in June, and rent was taken out of my account in July. When I went in the office to talk to management I was told that it wasn't there fault, it was the drafting department's fault. I then asked could I talk to whomever was over that, and I was unprofessionally told there was no one else I could talk about the situation other than them. I've preceded to call corporate and they told me my money will be given back to me and they would speed up the process. Needless to say, I've tried to call them (corporate) back on numerous occasions, and guess what everyone is always busy and will not return a phone call. I asked for my direct deposit info to be shredded in front of me because who knows, they might try to take out rent again for August. I was denied that right also. That's one less thing I have to worry about though because I made sure my bank will not let them take anymore money out of my account. But, I still don't have my months rent for the month that I did not stay there nor my deposit back. This company is a rip off and thieves.
What do you call someone that takes money from you that's not supposed to be taken, and doesn't answer phone calls from you? Don't worry I'll wait..

I ve lived at The Park for 11 years and despite top notch management and maintenance of this complex led by Spankie, this company is terrible.

I thought charging late fees in a pandemic was bad. But charging tenants who have lost their jobs due to COVID-19 late fees despite having in place a federal community block grant promise to pay rent due and a check from the city on the way is the epitome of greed. Your guaranteed money is on the way to cover the rent, but for the hell of it you stick the tenant with late fees until the check arrives. It s abhorrent.

I love my neighbors and management, but I don t want to give this company another dime of my money.

My very first apartment was with this company and I tried to switch into cheaper apartment within the company. Both complexes told me that I was able to do the switch as long as I paid another security deposit for the new apartment and first months rent. I paid the security deposit and was set to move in the next month. They then said I was being evicted for failure of payment, but yet I still owe almost $4,000 for "not paying the lease off." Don't try to live with this company unless you have money to blow.

Poor management and service. I didn't even get through the leasing process without a lot of lies and deception. Still waiting on the return of my deposit which they say takes 30 days when it took less than 30 seconds for me to give it to them. Not to mention I had to provide proof that I purchased the money order (cash register receipt), ridiculous. I will be very glad to receive my deposit back so I won't have to deal any futher with this company and it's property in Tuscaloosa, AL. Please be very careful if you decide to rent from any of this managements properties. Please take heed to these reviews and save yourself the trouble. I just called corporate to get the progress of my deposit and they told me 30 days and the manager of the property told me 3-5 days if I brought her the copy of the money order and the cash register receipt so she could speed up the process. And then she says it will be 30 days from the day corporate received the report instead of the day they declined my application because the cosigner was declined, not MY application. All lies, don't know if it is the manager or corporate or both but it is BS. I was trying to avoid an attorney but it looks like I will have to involve one ASAP. 0 Stars

You have to be lower than dirt to take advantage of people they way Lindsey takes advantage of their tenants. My daughter rented an apartment at the Links in Fort Smith and has had nothing but trouble from them. She was so excited to be out on her own and finally in her our place and taking care of herself. She went to pay the rent and was turned away because she brought them a money order and it was supposed to be an auto withdraw from her banking account. After trying to pay her rent several times in person with this (already filled out) money order, they over drafted her account and then put a nasty note on her door telling her she owed additional fees bringing her already ridiculous payment amount even higher. I called the corporate office and was told that Lindsey was correct and there was nothing they would do about this. I cannot stress enough how irritated and disappointed I am with the corrupt and dishonest way that these people do business. You go in to rent a place and it is all nice and sweet but as soon as you sign that paper the real corruption of their way of running a business comes out. Then they tell you if you are not happy with the way they do business you can "buy out your lease". Like that would be an option for most people to do. All I can say is that my daughter has learned a valuable lesson on trusting people. She will be a lot wiser when looking for her new place.

Avoid at all costs. This company sucks and is full of thieves. Granted I missed the part about the 30 day notice in my lease, but also they made me move out 3 days before the end of the month. Had to pay a $300 deposit because I had no credit and didn't get a penny back even though I was a great tenant. The only good part about it was the resident manager Jake Martin. He gets 5 stars.

My mom came down from Alabama when I had my daughter and was going to stay 1 week with me then go back home on the 3rd day she was there I got a eviction notes on my door! I had a 4 day old baby and had to find a new place to live. My rent was always paid on the 1st of the month never late my apartment was very clean at all times and they still kicked me out. Plus the management team was very rude to say the least.

Absolutely the worst! My Mother who is 85 years old applied for an apartment managed by Lindsey management, was approved but had not signed a lease or moved in. Although she paid the deposit but before she was able to sign the lease her doctor scheduled a back surgery. When she called to speak with the apartment complex manager to let her know she wouldn't be able to move anytime soon, they refused to give her back her deposit, named all sort of legal reasons. ( bunch of bull) Moving forward over a year later she moved into another Lindsey managed apartment complex. After they did a make ready on her apartment, I went in a re shampooed the carpet and took pictures of the worn holes in it so she wouldn't be blamed for any previous issues. The manager there was nice enough but had to stay after them about her refrigerator leaking puddles of water because we were afraid she would slip and fall. Also her dishwasher quit working and they never repaired it, we had a friend who trouble shot the problem and were able to fix it. She lived there for over a year with an oven that did not work, was told it just needed to be re calibrated so we had that done after waiting and no one addressing the issue. Finally they put in a brand new stove and same as before the oven didn't work. Calls to management didn't do any good. Recently we moved her and she has received a bill for damages and moving a month before her lease was finished even though she had an 'open ' lease approved by property manager for her to move once we could do so. The manager did a walk through before we moved her and said everything was good...no damaged to walls or property at all. Have made a phone call to try and resolve this...promise to get back with us next day, still no return phone call.

As a previous tenant, I'll say that this is without a doubt, the single worst company to rent from, that I've personally ever had the supreme displeasure of coming into contact with. They're ignorant, rude, corrupt, and capitalistic to the point of hilarity. The completely asinine contract you have to sign to rent from them, blatantly states that the majority of your "deposit" is non-refundable (a.k.a. legal theft). Their reasoning is that they HAVE to replace all carpets, and repaint all walls when a tenant moves out, yet I moved into my apartment with hideous wall-paper on all of the walls, and stained carpets. I made them abundantly aware of both of these issues, and they never corrected them. My air-conditioning didn't cool the tiny apartment any more than about 5 degrees lower than the ambient outdoor temperature. I contacted them about this twice, they simply sent out their general "repairman" (cousin joe-bob), who did nothing but replace the batteries in the thermostat. There is an (apparently ongoing) class-action lawsuit filed against the company in Fayetteville Arkansas in 2013 for both Conspiracy, and Fraud (rightfully so).

tl;dr - Don't rent from these people if you have any choice on the matter whatsoever. Jim Lindsey should probably run for Congress, he has the perfect moral compass for it.

Worst company to do business with. I came upon Active Duty Military orders and this company refused to let me our of my lease. I left them with a memorandum from my Commander and a Copy of my Orders. They got the Military Clause in the lease agreement and still have the audacity to try to hold me to the lease. I called my Chain of Command and they directed me to a JAG Officer. We shall see what comes of it. The lady at Relative Relations told me that I had to pay for cleaning up the apartment and 3 months rent and I never moved in. Not 1 foot in the apartment. Plus they rented the apartment out the very next month. Sounds to that they are double dipping! I am in awe of how this company does business and how they treat people who defend their freedom. I lived in a Lindsey Mgmt run apartment complex in Rogers AR for a few years and it was not a pleasant experience. The management was rude and condescending. Dirty apartment complexes and grounds. I had neighbors that were breeding roaches and bedbugs. Over-occupancy; 6 people in a two bedroom with 6 cars. I experienced cleaning bills and a non refunded deposit. Today, I own a house near a major Lindsey apartment complex in Fayetteville. I can honestly say that it is a drag on the quality of the neighborhood. Police calls, overflowing dumpsters, crime, vehicle break-ins, etc. Huge, green algae filled ponds that smell. Don't let the false advertising fool you about this company. They only care for their profit. Lindsey is not invested in the tenant or the neighborhoods in which they build their mega complex money making machines.

it was an awful experience. I decided to not even move in once my apartment was ready. Long story short, I work for the United States Department of Justice and I was being transfered to a city where one of their apartment complexes were located. I saw them online and went against the reviews unfortunately and paid a deposit to ensure that a room was held. 3 Days later I received notice that I would instead be transfered back to Washington. I worked endlessly to comply with them, and they refused to help in any way. They were rude, hateful, had no understanding whatsoever for the tough situation that was at hand, and ultimately would not refund my deposit. Although the local manager was very decent to me, the rest of the company and corporate office were not.

--Very sorry company and would not recomend to anyone.

I lived there four years, paid my rent always on time, went through different management all four years, the first year I had a hole In kitchen sink, lights didn't work In the kitchen when it rained, the second year I got a new kitchen sink, now in my bathroom nothing covered the heat lamp or the exhaust fan , they never in three four years fixed they never did fix that , there were four spots two in the kitchen one in the bathroom and the worst was the washer leaked so bad the water was seeping through the next door neighbors and downstairs walls. They came and put a small patch under that it always smells like mildew, I didn't have one of the kitchen drawers for the full 4 years. They just didn't seem to care. I also started getting write up, every time one of my boys and their families spent a weekend, they would say that I had unauthorized people living with me. I have seven grandkids three sons and daughters in laws , I got wrote up to many people, we as a full family couldn't go to the pool together even if no one else was at the pool. Then the last manager, she was something else, she simple maintenance guys down to check to see if I had anybody else in my apartment and I caught him peeking through the window so I went to the office told her about it and the maintenance guy said I was just doing what I was told and I said isn't that called a peeping tom she said well we were trying to find out if anybody was in there , so then it was on with her everytime I ask for something to be done in the apartment I got no results all the door handles were not working anymore after they've been locked so many times there was air seeping through the front door that they would not feel my dryer caught on fire so I went up there and told them a few days later somebody came out and put a new one up but they did not clean any of that stuff in that wall and it was packed full and I asked them about it and he said no no big deal the thing of it is that is what was causing the . So two months before my lease was up , she gave me an eviction notice because once again she said people were living with me when my son and daughter in law and two grand babies came down from Missouri and her and I had some bad words over it she gave me a 10 day eviction notice so I I went to legal aid and Fought it so I could stay out that month I paid for. I talked to Lindsey's management lawyer and because of the manager Rene getting fired I asked if it would be okay if I stayed and he had no problem with it stop she gave me a three day eviction Notice and I thought it

We decided not to rent from this company. after giving our deposit and waiting for three months only to be rudely, informed in the middle of the month we had to move in less than 24 hours. (Isn t that what a deposit is for?! To reserve the apt?)I was working out my two weeks in another state. I contacted Lindsey cooperate office (for the first time) after Betty gave away our apartment she called about within the hour. To which they responded that s how it is, we are letting the manager at Turtle Creek know you complained about her which only made our relationship with Betty worse. She became more rude to us she even hung up one me when I was trying to get my deposit back. I suggest you rent from GLEN AT POLO PARK.The staff is pleasant the apartments are much nicer and grounds are much cleaner!

I would not recommend this company to any person. Unfortunately, they dominate the market here in Arkansas, but if you can choose to live anywhere else, please do so! They have the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They repeatedly make mistakes and choose to not own up to them, and blame the resident for their incompetence. I wish I had done some prior research into this company prior to signing my lease, and I am unfortunately stuck in my new lease until next March. I will be moving as soon as humanly possible, and would not recommend one of their properties to my worst enemy. PLEASE do not choose a home owned by this company - their cheap rates are alluring, but it is definitely worth the money to pay a little more somewhere else.

This review is solely based on helping a good person that worked at a Lindsey apartment complex that was forced to move out where they lived, they where always on time to work. Was fired for reasons hearsay drama in the workplace ..my sole opinion like a lot of people is a terrible reason to be fired instead of being not qualified or late for work or damage to property.. Has never been written up, letting them know they where doing a poorly At there job. So they lost there job. That being said had 3 days to move out. I understand if you where late or not paying rent at all..you evict a person in 3 days. I m also a landlord and have had to evict people multiple times. But giving a person 3 days to move out after losing losing there job, not 2 weeks, not a week, is pathetic. I would only rent from them if they are your last option, they talked to Lindsey HR and they blew them off which tells me that they don t have any respect for the people that they house.

Just wanna take a moment to give a shout out to Lindsey Management Properties for making our experience here for the past two years SO wonderful. Not only did they allow us to move into an apartment that wasn't properly cleaned or maintained (the moldy cheese slice we found under our oven and gummy candy patches plastered into our carpet were interesting albeit original move-in gifts) but we also received the surprise (in February of 2015) of some new tenants inside our very own home: Brown Recluse spiders!!! Let me tell you what a JOY it has been, living in fear and constant anxiety for the the past nearly 2 years. It's actually become an integral part of my routine to semi-psychotically search every room of the house with my flashlight at night. Let's call it Spidey hide-and-seek. Loser gets bitten by a venomous spider
Even though we l ve these little guys SO much we decided that maybe they were overstaying their welcome. After all, they started inviting all their buddies over without asking! I mean, one or two of them was fine but 4 or more a night? Not cool bro, not cool. So, we did what any slightly annoyed family would do and asked that they be uh...relocated (?) to another area. Our request was denied.
Sticky traps they said. That will do the trick! Take some, all of them! I'm sure the Brown Recluses will jump in willingly.
Fast Forward many moons and several sleepless nights and the little guys just keep coming! At this point, we got a little desperate. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's every mother's dream to see a venomous spider crawling on the ceiling above her baby girl's head in the dead of night. Must have been a drunk spider because he was really stumbling and almost fell right on her head!
So we reached out to our friends, Lindsey Management, yet again were told that nothing could be done. "We can't be held liable" they said. "We cannot take responsibility", they giggled maniacally (ok, maybe there was no giggling...but you get the point). Fancy another sticky trap?

Us: Countless emails. Attempts to meet in person. Willingness to mediate. Calm. Cool. Collected. Until now.

Them: Snide remarks. Robotic lease quoting. Refusal to meet in person. Calm. Cold. Collected.

To say we have had enough, is a gross understatement. Not only has the health and wellbeing of our family been compromised, our mental health has suffered a blow as well. Imagine not feeling safe in your own home. Imagine seeing a poisonous spider crawl across your hand as you unpack a box. Every tingle, every breeze, every move...your skin constantly crawling.
Then imagine being told that there is nothing that can be done. Basically being told that you are not important.
We have been denied every request to terminate our lease. Denied every opportunity to simply move out of this apartment without reprimand.
So all I can do is warn you now. I feel it is my duty. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do NOT rent from Lindsey Management apartments.
They do not care about your health. They do not care about your well-being. They do not care about your baby. They do not care about YOU. And please SHARE this for everyone you know, so they do not make the same mistake we did.

And thank you Lindsey Management. For a TRULY unforgettable experience.

Worst company of all time. Lindsey is ran embarrassingly bad by the most unreasonable people. My friend, his wife, and me, applied for a 2 bedroom. They took our application fees, not telling us about a stupid "2 non-relative limit" policy, and said we couldn't all move in together. AFTER we spent all the time planning a move in there, filling out the application, getting our credit (which we all have high scores) dinged from an inquiry, and paying the fee. No mention of this policy whatsoever!

As angry as we already were, I wrote to them, explaining that we would be willing to sacrifice some of our residential rights. Such as limiting how many people we could have over and our noise level. Saying that we would accept higher penalty fees for that, and that we could add this as a clause in our lease agreement.

Not only did they not reach out to me directly, they called an EX-employee first to yell at her for recommending business FOR them to us (which they have no right to do and are wrong for). They sent my message down to the Links at Kansas, and had someone from their office call to deny me.

Lindsey Management is ran by not only seemingly non-caring people, but incompetent people, as they turned away good tenants, willing to guarantee that with our signatures.

A good PM company is important, all else being equal, pick the other option not ran by these clowns.

The vast majority of individuals who have ever lived in a Lindsey property or who have dealt with Lindsey in any rental capacity, will likely tell you to run away. Poor company, poor policies, extremely poor customer service, and they will seemingly do whatever they can to take advantage of renters without regard to the negative impact to their reputation. Unfortunately, Lindsey has a clear monopoly on affordable NWA rental housing. Essentially, if you can swing it, you are better off just trying to buy a house. At the price you will have to pay to NOT rent with Lindsey, you can likely afford a house and hopefully avoid renting. If you don't wish to purchase, bite the bullet and rent from another company or a private owner. Those don't come without risks, but just about anything is better than doing "business" with this shady, unethical company.

It's a lot of extra stuff tacked on once you move in. And the place really isn't worth the amount they want. Day I move in water pipe busts without water for 3 days. The glass stove top was busted when I moved in and I just got a call a month and a half after I moved in to maybe get it fixed. My heater isn't working so I had to buy space heaters. But I guess it's not super bad. They let me bring my 3 German Shepherd Dogs. So at least they let my dogs come in.

Fell down the stairs twice. I was holding onto the rails. but when the stairs are slippery bc it is covered in ice, rail does not really help. You fall, you fall. The rails wont be able to catch you. Called the management, they said the corporate DOES NOT allow them to unfortunately salt the stairs bc it will ruin the concrete.

Here is my advice to management: consider the money you will lose when getting sued bc one of these days, someone will fall and break bones vs. the money to replace the stairs concrete or to cover the concrete with a better water repellent sealers. If you want to talk about math calculation, I am here to help and will be happy too.

I live at The Greens at Coffee Creek in Edmond, Oklahoma. I was gone for Thanksgiving and my apartment broken into. The patio door and doorframe were busted open. It has been one month and I still don't have the door or doorframe replaced! I have furniture pushed up in front of the door to keep it closed. Onsite property management does not communicate with me. Lindsey Management has been lax in communicating with me. This is a horrible company with incompetent staff. DO NOT RENT IN BUILDING 6 - YOU WILL BE A VICTIM OF THEFT. I'm the second person in this building to have a break in, but they house the onsite "courtesy" police officer in a building up front where there is no crime.

I have rented from Lindsay Management for nearly 5 years at the Greens of Shawee. In those 5 years I have experienced 3-5 different "managers" who are miraculously more incompetent than the previous Manager . Be sure that anything that one of these managers communicates to you is also followed up with a written statement, as what is told to you and what is actually policy are vastly different.

One thing this group does right is take your money and often in error. In the 5 years I have lived here I have had duplicate automatic withdrawals of rent on three separate occasions. Just to do the quick math for you that is $2,700 of my money that was mistakenly taken from my account and only refunded 4-7 days later, in one case I had to initiate a dispute with my bank in order to retrieve what was rightfully mine. The last instance was the final straw; unfortunately it occurred one month after renewing a one year lease. Therefore, I inquired about my options (i.e. waive the early out fee (3 months rent, or go to month to month with no additional fee) and was told they were only authorized to let me be waived from auto draft so I could conveniently hand deliver my rent each month splendid!

The luxury amenities and free golf were appealing and ultimately the reason we chose to live here but the horrific management and customer service will ultimately be the reason we are accelerating our search for a home. If you want to find out why Manager, Luxury and Free are in quotations feel free to move on in, otherwise I recommend you drive on by. Wish someone would have pointed this out to me previously but the F Rating with the BBB says it all

I received a HUGE water bill and I contacted the apartment office (Lakeside) to check for a leak. They claim there was no leak. Weeks later, I found the leak and told the office to fix it. They did, but are refusing to take responsible for not finding it the first time and causing me a $600 water bill. I contacted Home Office and they're also not taking responsibility because I didn't report the leak before the high bill arrived. THE LEAK EVEN THEIR MAINTANANCE COULDN'T FIND THE FIRST TIME AROUND. Pathetic. It's hard to stay away from Lindsey because they own pretty much everything in Fayetteville, but please do so if you can. Read all their other reviews, be smart.
