Absolutely the worst! My Mother who is 85 years ol...

Absolutely the worst! My Mother who is 85 years old applied for an apartment managed by Lindsey management, was approved but had not signed a lease or moved in. Although she paid the deposit but before she was able to sign the lease her doctor scheduled a back surgery. When she called to speak with the apartment complex manager to let her know she wouldn't be able to move anytime soon, they refused to give her back her deposit, named all sort of legal reasons. ( bunch of bull) Moving forward over a year later she moved into another Lindsey managed apartment complex. After they did a make ready on her apartment, I went in a re shampooed the carpet and took pictures of the worn holes in it so she wouldn't be blamed for any previous issues. The manager there was nice enough but had to stay after them about her refrigerator leaking puddles of water because we were afraid she would slip and fall. Also her dishwasher quit working and they never repaired it, we had a friend who trouble shot the problem and were able to fix it. She lived there for over a year with an oven that did not work, was told it just needed to be re calibrated so we had that done after waiting and no one addressing the issue. Finally they put in a brand new stove and same as before the oven didn't work. Calls to management didn't do any good. Recently we moved her and she has received a bill for damages and moving a month before her lease was finished even though she had an 'open ' lease approved by property manager for her to move once we could do so. The manager did a walk through before we moved her and said everything was good...no damaged to walls or property at all. Have made a phone call to try and resolve this...promise to get back with us next day, still no return phone call.
