Amazing place where you can find the newest trends. I love this shop. Not as big as Harods but with a great selection of products.
Amazing perfume section with lots of unusual perfumes.
Love Liberty of London. A friend and I had one day in London and spent the whole day in the store! We had been to London on a number of occasions in the past and just wanted a relaxing special day and that was Liberty. Our disappointment was with the Cafe. It has been outsourced and we were surprised to see the USA gratuities scam was just factored into our printed bill - no choice in this. Well there was and we asked to have it taken off the bill which meant the manager had to be called to do this. The staff were delightful and we would have left something for them, but this action of the owners getting the 'tip' in the till is just one more step to lower wages and poor conditions for staff - a point we made to them. We were told reluctantly that the staff do not always receive the tips and conditions are difficult a point Liberty management need to follow up to ensure anyone working in their beautiful store is paid what they are entitled to.
Margaret - Australia
The most beautiful department store in the entire world! With an amazing curated selection of fashion and home decoration items and the best windows during Christmas season.
Amazing building worth coming in just to look at the architecture
The iconic Liberty building. Think this is well worth a visit if only to take photos. A beautiful interior, various goods located over different floors and of course the liberty fabric section, a must see.
THE place to shop in London. Or even just visit. 4 floors of anything you need in a classy environment. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. You can't visit London without visiting Liberty.
Great department store with unique sortiment of good quality products.
Beautiful historic building. A visit at Christmas is a must!
A stunning, quirky place packed with lots of beautiful things. It could be a museum
Lovely interior, smart layout and the bags are amazing
Nice place!! Liberty is iconic with good reason. The building itself is lovely. The items sold are very high end, but always worth the price. Look carefully, especially at sale time, and you can find some real bargains. The staff are all friendly, efficient and professional. Highly recommended.
An absolute maze but the staff are lovely and it's full of beautiful pieces
Very expensive but nice to walk around. The building itself is beautiful.
This is a store that is worth a visit. It has the most unusual to the most sensible things to buy. It feels full of history, wooden floors and stairs lead to the different floors. It's a bit like entering a different world. Lots of designer wear. Quirky gifts.
A fabulous place to browse..cos I can't afford much!!!
Worth a look to see what is fashionable for wealthy people. They kept the original wooden doorways with carvings, which add a nice sense of age.
It's as magical as it looks. Great for just being nosey, people watching and seeing how the other half live. X
Just like a fairytale, an expensive but unique fairytale. The apple pie and pink lemonade were divine
Great building and at this time of the year (Christmas) it's a must. It is very busy so you have to be ok with the crowds.
iconic dept store. i never miss to stop there every time i am in London.
Amazing place, like Aladdin's cave! I'm not sure what I was more interested in, the beautiful building or all the fabulous things for sale. We spent ages in here and I'm sure we didn't see everything. Next time we go I'm making sure we allow a couple of hours for a good look round :)
Beatiful place but incredibly busy!! Festive decorations all around. Lovely scents and lavish furnishings.
The security guard was not well trained to be friendly
Absolutely amazing building and lovely shop inside. Really nice and not usual things in there. Nice old fashined
Liberty has a unique character, not just the appearance of the building, but in the choice goods, which I have not seen elsewhere.
Beautiful old building!! Used to be a church! Love the vintage clothing section and in house plant for home. There are a room full of pretty carpet
I got to liberty s every christmas to get a new ornament. Never disappoints.
Beautiful and luxury store. Christmas hall on the top floor is a good place to shop for Christmas deco and gifts at this time.
What can you say, its Liberty, you get what you expect.
The outside of this department store looks like it's at least 3 centuries old but it it only a century old. Nevertheless, it is a place that oozes character. The place has a lot of timber and wood that came from sea-going ships. The merchandise in the store is well-presented. When your feet need a bit of head over to the restaurant and get yourself a cream tea. That will give your feet fresh energy for another bout of shopping in this unforgettable store.
There's nowhere else like it for some very nice things
Great store that is part of our yearly pilgrimage to central London to see the lights and get inspiration for gifts to buy. Great staff and so many beautiful fabrics and furnishings
Ideal for gifts and peculiar home items. Browsing items is not always easy as corridors are too tight and you are going to clash with other customers. Think about a mini-harrods with a far cozier feeling
Magical experience. Just for a look if not to actually buy something. The fabrics are breathtaking.
We love Libertys, a beautiful beautiful building, inside and out. Great shopping experience, brilliant range of clothing lines. Can pick up some bargains too.
If im in london . I have to go and see whats in stock . Never fails to impress a must when in the old London town !!
I always visit Liberty s when I go to London . The building itself is worth seeing . It has a beautiful charm with its galleries and polished wood floors . It s worth getting a Liberty loyalty card as you get discounts and special offers, as well as points on purchases . There is also something magical about Liberty at Christmas.
Great fabric, quirky building and I loved the quilts on display
Love this shop. So much character and fascinating to visit. Also so much beautiful fabric! Gorgeous things for the home. The Christmas shop is outstanding. Don't miss it when you visit London
Thank you, Liberty, for making my Christmas. After a terrible day at work, I took a bus to Piccadilly to do some quiet, consoling Christmas shopping for my wife. A lovely jar of Seville marmalade for her stocking, and a beautiful - truly beautiful - marbled teapot by Hay, to celebrate bringing her a morning cuppa for 26 years. And thank you, really, to the tall, dedicated lady that served me, and so patiently unwrapped the teapot she'd so carefully wrapped, just to take off the price label.
So disappointing. I wanted to buy a special dress for a black tie event. I had to ask for help, and it was very obvious that I was looking to try something on. A very nice member of staff went and got dress from stockroom and I proceeded to try it on. I couldn't find my friend to help me zip the dress up, I stood outside dressing room and other members of staff ignored me, they could see I needed assistance. They were too busy chatting to offer me help. My friend helped instead. This is not the Liberty I remember. I bought the same dress from Harrods, was served beautifully and the assistant helped me in and out of the garments I chose, and I finally settled in the original dress I'd seen in Liberty. I also went to Harvey Nichols and was served beautifully there.
My favourite shop to go to. Expensive, but the Liberty pen products have amazing patterns and beautiful items. Would definitely recommend a visit, even if it's just too see the store.
as a visitor from new york, this place was a material and sensorial paradise, especially during the holidays with the christmas selections. for the plebeian, can t really buy anything and there seem to rarely be sales, but it s an exquisite museum of beautiful things. haven t been to a department store like this. it s like disney world. macy s or even high end malls in the states ain t got nothin on this.
Alternative tea sets and lots of great items like furniture. But also some rather bland items at the low end to fill in.
What a shop! Floors and floors of unique luxury products all housed in a typical Tudor house. You could spend hours in here browsing and probably a lot of money!
Meat Liquor - find the photo booth in the port a potty! Pickle Jack is a no for me !
Top draw place to shop a very nostalgic feel..with its wooden frame.very cool.
Gorgeous environment and well organised for Covid safe shopping
Outstanding and quaint store with an eclectic range of quality goods. A unique shopping experience and worth the effort to come here for unique fabrics and other wares
A really nice experience! With lovely brands and clothing. Also in a older building, so with lots of detailing in the interior.
Very different shop, lovely, helpful staff. Got a few different bits in there Christmas Shop and my mother was in her own heaven in with all the materials.
Love this store more for the actual building rather than what it sells. Still has part of its original Tudor staircase if anyone likes their history and architecture
Loved everything about it. What a fabulous building with something for everyone. Allow plenty of time.
Legendary store that deserves its reputation. Luxury and glamour, style and beauty. It's the best!
I love this department store
Very nice decor
Classy
Great collection of clothing and shoes
Nice and each time the experience has been to the very high standards and what you expect from a store with the heritage like theirs is renown for
Love this shop and the slice of history it represents. Filled with beautiful things.
Apart from the products, the atmosphere itself was very cosy, antique. Loved the way how things were displayed. Could spend a good time just walking around and doing a window shopping.
Interesting store. So many floors and interesting collection of stuff. Doesn't feel your typical shopping department store. Very old feel but lots of modern stuff.
This is an incredible store to visit if only for the experience of seeing how little this store has changed over the years. See the iconic liberty print fabric on the shelves of liberty itself. The store has all its old charm, in the bustling centre of London.
I love this old British department store.
It's has every thing you expect.
Staff are very helpful & don't pressure you. They are on hand when you need them.
Breath-taking, stunningly beautiful building inside and out!! Awesome fabrics, home ware and staff. Thoroughly recommend.
Iconic and truly British, been buying gifts here for ages. Totally recommend
An absolutely beautiful building and a gorgeous place to visit. I went here because one of my favorite songs was actually written here but I enjoyed Liberty not just because of the song. It's a very luxurious plsce to shop at so I didn't actually buy anything but even if you go there to just roam around... It's worth it. Really beautiful.
Beautiful luxury store. The interior and exterior are beautiful. Great selection of high-end clothing and accessories.
Gorgeous decorations during the festive season!
Tudor style upmarket department store built in 1920,s.
Selling food to furniture and they specialise in their own brand hand painted fabrics.I mainly came here to see the building but they do have some unique beautiful items from around the world.
There are 3 Atriums and the best view is from top floor looking down.In the central atrium there are carved animal figurines on the railings.
There is also a wooden lift which is still in working order.
All merchandise is beautifully displayed.
It is more like an art museum for me. Love the furniture and home deco floor. And of course Liberty s fabric is a must-see.
Always love coming to this store when in London! It's got old world charm and great options for everyone. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Love the store, always something new and very beautifully curated. Not that large so I try not to visit too often. Cocktails and cake are a bonus, although pricey, it's a little bit heavenly.
This is a wonderful department store built in the 1930's (I think) in mock Tudor style, both in the facade but even more in the wonderful interiors. I recommend a visit even only for admiring the different "halls" and the magnificent wood carving and fire places.
Items on sale are really beautiful but unfortunately normally beyond the majority of wallets! (including mine). But if I was rich enough, this would definitely be my favourite shopping spot!
Most fantastic shop i have visited in my life, only the best items, fabrics, furniture and clothing get to be sold in here.
Great customer service. Absolutely love it.
Wow what a fantastic department store only brought some xmas decs in the sale just nice to look at high end store x
I have mixed feelings anojt this department store. In general it has a very classic and borderline pretentious vibe. I dont find the staff to be all that engaging nor friendly. However all of the customers that i bump into are all lovely! Oh and the security guards too, they are very friendly. I personally think that part of the cost of luxury items goes into the customer service -such a shame that a lot of Libertines forget that! It puts me off spending my hard earner wages there...off to their competitors i go.
This shop is a little bit expensive but you can find truly unique home furnishings (christmas tree decorations, curtains, ceramics)
Love what Liberty's are doing with their beauty department, supporting smaller and ethical brands, rather than the usual selection you can find everywhere. Staff were very helpful and friendly in explaining the product ranges. As others have said certainly worth a visit for the building itself as much as all the beautiful things inside
Iconic London building with a crazy history. Well worth a detour
Amazing selection of items. The beauty hall is fantastic with lots of unique brands too
I so enjoyed visiting Liberty's yesterday. It still has individuality and such style. A much loved store.
Excellent department store! I really like the 3rd floor with all the bath and home products. Would like to see more sales during the sales period.
Liberty London - if you love fashion but want something other than the usual then head here. If you want something quirky and original for the home then head here. If you just want to sample some classic arts and crafts architecture then Liberty London has it all.
