It is an exciting place and very historical too. Thousands of products to browse through and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Naturally it can be a little overwhelming with the amount of shoppers inside but if you have never been there, it is a landmark location not to be missed.

Fantastic building! I have been there a few time now, and every time I get impressed by the level of detail that has gone into the work on decoration of the building. The actual shops within the building is not within my field of interest, so I cannot say much about them, but the building alone is absolutely worth the visit.

Liberty London is a spectacular store unlike any other department store in London. Their buyer is a genius who has woven together a mix of threads that are unique to Liberty with some exclusive designer partnerships that make Liberty stand out among all of the high end stores. They have an extensive selection of fabrics from around the world so you can design your own threads. Liberty also has a world class interior selection to outfit the most chic of homes. Shopping for the well-heeled can tend to be so homogenous as the trends tend to blend together, bags look the same and colors change only with the seasons. But at Liberty they celebrate vibrancy and it s a delight.

Reasonable card selection. Bed linen used to be good but pretty indifferent now. A bit overrated & they lean heavily on their name...lots of tat from Morocco & India & the lifts are way too small & SLOW. God knows how disabled or elderly folk manage here, you'd have lost interest completely by the time the lift arrives...Men's shoe selection is very poor...staff are clearly BORED to death, no eye contact, little or no product knowledge & lots of standing around by the tills gossiping with their friends rather than serving...the only people who might find this place interesting are students of architecture...whole shop has a feeling of shabbiness...men's loos in basement are virtually impossible to find and TINY...

While I can't say much about the products that they sell (as they are all expensive to the point of ludicrousness), they have a toilet you can use and I found this invaluable. Thank you for the toilet Liberty of London. Thank you.

Have always wanted to visit the world famous Liberty department store over the years and came for the first time this weekend. Firstly the mock Tudor facade and interiors looks amazing. However I do find that the interior layout of the stalls look cluttered when compared similar high end stores such as Harrods and Selfridges, though not as bad as Fortnum & Mason. I'd shop here if I wanted something really special, but not for everyday items as it's just too expensive for what you're getting. Even then I'd only come if heavily discounted. I just don't like to waste that kind of money.

Excellent place to visit if you re on a trip to London and shopping. It is especially brilliant during Christmas time. It features a multilevel setup, with varying items for sale on each floor. The top floor had the Christmas ornaments and decorations. It s a very festive place.

If you are new to London a visit to liberty is a must. It's unique among department stores not just because it's made out of creaking oak beams ships planks but for its rather individual style. Liberty even mint their own coins. I don't want to give too much away but you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful architecture!

Beautiful architecture!

Worth a visit to admire the timeless beauty that is Liberty London , even if you do not plan to be spending much money here.

Most of what s sold here are branded goods of big price tags.

Can be time consuming trying to get into one of those classic elevators. Not escalators around, expect to walk down the stairs when moving down the levels.

Lovely department store. The building itself is the traditional style wooden structure building, when you look up and look down from the top, it s interesting to see the structure. There are so many high end brands here and the service is quite decent.

Last minute Christmas Eve shopping trip brought me to this store where the staff were most helpful and full of good suggestions. Even managed to buy some earrings at half price. Delightful place and well worth a visit if you are in the Oxford Circus area.

Such a fabulous place. I've been coming here since my childhood and I love it.
The building itself is beautiful and the range of products is outstanding. They sell so many unique brands and items it would take too long to list them. If you're looking for something special, then Liberty is definitely going to be the place to find it.
Perfection.

Very disappointed. Far too many makeup counters. Staff supersiliois and behaved as if the store was their domain. No idea about service at all. Need training. Not been for years and it feels as if it has lost it's way and the original USP all but lost.

At the top end of Carnaby, this is one of the more interesting department stores in the Oxford Street / Regent Street area. The "mini British food hall" has some interesting selections if you are searching for edible gifts / souvenirs.

Pro Tip: Don't ignore the window displays!

Great place. Awesome Christmas Shop and well worth the visit. Extremely busy but we managed to navigate. Not advised to visit with a backpack as we noticed a few breakages happening for that reason! Great though.

Don't come during Christmas unless you want to be trampled by hundreds of old women shopping for too expensive gifts for their grandkids, its complete mayhem. Outside of the holiday season, this place is amazing with an uniquely curated selection of goods. It's easy to get lost in this very different store. The building is strangely formatted but in the best way possible.

I like liberty, the building itself, the fashion floor always had something to offer, the shop floor staff, the cafe is nice, as well as beauty corner ( cant call it a salon, please excuse me)
This time however it was a disappointment. What has happened to the buyers fashion sense and taste ? I would like to see the figures at the end of the season. Terrible , terrible ladieswear choices.
On the good note , the store managed to created a one way walking system ( sort of as it wasn't marked at all) and u had to guess which way to go . Thankfully, there were members of security team, directing you in or out.
The stoee Provided masks and antibacterial liquid for everyone in the store.

This building was designed by Edwin T. Hall and his son Edwin S. Hall in the 1920s during a time of Tudor revival.

The shop was arranged around three atriums. Designed to feel like a home, each atrium was surrounded by smaller rooms, complete with fireplaces and furnishings.

Arthur Liberty had a furniture workshop in Archway, London run by Lawrence Turner. The workshop produced Liberty Arts and Crafts furniture and the intricately carved panels and pillars found throughout the store.

Miniature glass paintings found amongst the wood-panelling were taken from the captain's quarters.

The building is now a heritage listed London icon.
