Amazing stores. High quality products. Extremely nice and profesional people. A must.
A beautiful department store worth visiting even if you're not planning on shopping. The building is stunning, as are the displays inside.
I found the most beautiful linen tea towels for my mother here! Also, the decor inside this department store is like an old-fashioned mansion. You don't get department stores like this in Canada.
Unique place where to get your precious gifts or simply inspire yourself with more ideas
Adore the building inside and out. Amazing to look at in the middle of London.
If you want see something amazing and luxury..just go there and see any nice shop....
It is an exciting place and very historical too. Thousands of products to browse through and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Naturally it can be a little overwhelming with the amount of shoppers inside but if you have never been there, it is a landmark location not to be missed.
Great shopping experience in the heart of London. The building, both inside and outside, is really beautiful.
Fantastic building! I have been there a few time now, and every time I get impressed by the level of detail that has gone into the work on decoration of the building. The actual shops within the building is not within my field of interest, so I cannot say much about them, but the building alone is absolutely worth the visit.
Liberty London is a spectacular store unlike any other department store in London. Their buyer is a genius who has woven together a mix of threads that are unique to Liberty with some exclusive designer partnerships that make Liberty stand out among all of the high end stores. They have an extensive selection of fabrics from around the world so you can design your own threads. Liberty also has a world class interior selection to outfit the most chic of homes. Shopping for the well-heeled can tend to be so homogenous as the trends tend to blend together, bags look the same and colors change only with the seasons. But at Liberty they celebrate vibrancy and it s a delight.
One of the great iconic London stores - worthy of any west end shopping trip
Beautiful shop, lots of wonderful items to buy and amazing staff.
This is the most impressive department store! With its Tudor Revival architecture and the exclusiveness of its product range, it definitely stands out! It is well worth a visit, even if it is just for your afternoon tea in the cozy Arthur restaurant!
Beautiful store. Worth a visit if in central London.
The service I received was excellent. Can't fault any thing.
Great department store with iconic mock tudor frontage. Good place to buy gifts or souvenirs
It's one of the best stores if you want to find what nobody else can give you. Luxury at its best with the right dose of understatement.
Reasonable card selection. Bed linen used to be good but pretty indifferent now. A bit overrated & they lean heavily on their name...lots of tat from Morocco & India & the lifts are way too small & SLOW. God knows how disabled or elderly folk manage here, you'd have lost interest completely by the time the lift arrives...Men's shoe selection is very poor...staff are clearly BORED to death, no eye contact, little or no product knowledge & lots of standing around by the tills gossiping with their friends rather than serving...the only people who might find this place interesting are students of architecture...whole shop has a feeling of shabbiness...men's loos in basement are virtually impossible to find and TINY...
The place to be around Christmas and even outside season the atmosphere in the shop is authentic and chique.
Liberty- what can I say? Sells everything you need and visitors just love it.
Quintessentially trendy department store. Houses new designers as well as established ones. A must visit within the London shopping scene!
While I can't say much about the products that they sell (as they are all expensive to the point of ludicrousness), they have a toilet you can use and I found this invaluable. Thank you for the toilet Liberty of London. Thank you.
Have always wanted to visit the world famous Liberty department store over the years and came for the first time this weekend. Firstly the mock Tudor facade and interiors looks amazing. However I do find that the interior layout of the stalls look cluttered when compared similar high end stores such as Harrods and Selfridges, though not as bad as Fortnum & Mason. I'd shop here if I wanted something really special, but not for everyday items as it's just too expensive for what you're getting. Even then I'd only come if heavily discounted. I just don't like to waste that kind of money.
I love this place. I always go there when I'm in London mostlt for the fabrics really. The staff is really friendly too.
A department store situated inside of an old building. The strong timber smell lingers as you stroll through the aisles with creaking from those vintage floorboards.
Amazing place to buy Christmas decorations ut bit pricey tho
Iconic. The menswear section on the ground floor has a great selection of designer brands.
Ex... ex... ex..
Exquisit excellent expensive
Excellent place to visit if you re on a trip to London and shopping. It is especially brilliant during Christmas time. It features a multilevel setup, with varying items for sale on each floor. The top floor had the Christmas ornaments and decorations. It s a very festive place.
Iconic piece of London's history. Beautiful architecture.
One of the most beautiful stores in the world. Pricey but great to see the things.
If you love an authentic really old department store dating back from 1875 then Liberty London is the place for you!! This amazing shop has everything and a lot of the features date back 100 years or more! Real old grand London!
As usual ... amazing place even if you don t buy anything
Lovely old school department store. Everybody likes to carry the purple Liberty bag. Worth a visit if you have never been
I found that this store is awesome and the welcome is very warm. The sellers are nice
Place for shopping, place for relax, amazing Personel. You need buy some special for love come to liberty London...
Just love this store. You can feel the history ingrained in the building as you walk around. Some real unusual pieces for sale also.
If you are new to London a visit to liberty is a must. It's unique among department stores not just because it's made out of creaking oak beams ships planks but for its rather individual style. Liberty even mint their own coins. I don't want to give too much away but you will not be disappointed.
Just love this place. I always make sure I pop in whenever I am in London. The Christmas shop is well worth a visit too!
The interior is worthy of a visit even if you don't buy anything. Staff are friendly.
It's never Christmas without a visit to Liberty in London. The items on display offer so many choices for gifts, as well as the store cupboard for biscuits or sweets, etc.
Fantastic range of products. Beautifully displayed. But quality does not come cheap, especially here.
Love this magical place! Not to everyone s taste, but definitely cute!
Beautiful architecture!
Worth a visit to admire the timeless beauty that is Liberty London , even if you do not plan to be spending much money here.
Most of what s sold here are branded goods of big price tags.
Can be time consuming trying to get into one of those classic elevators. Not escalators around, expect to walk down the stairs when moving down the levels.
Love the church, bookshop, grotto.
Available places to park.
Nice parishioners
It's a beautiful building, in one of the lifts they have linen fold panelling , so beautiful and stylish you have to visit liberty's !
Quirky & Elegantly iconic gifts for Him & Er(indoors)
Lovely department store. The building itself is the traditional style wooden structure building, when you look up and look down from the top, it s interesting to see the structure. There are so many high end brands here and the service is quite decent.
Last minute Christmas Eve shopping trip brought me to this store where the staff were most helpful and full of good suggestions. Even managed to buy some earrings at half price. Delightful place and well worth a visit if you are in the Oxford Circus area.
Mad to be walking around and shopping in a mock Tudor building with all its beamed ceilings and ancient oak staircases just off regent street. Lovely eclectic selection finery and fabric. Managed to find 80% of Christmas gifts in under 2 hours.
The worst customer service ever. I love going to La lebo, however the service is so rubbish. The whole stores customer service is rubbish.
Such a fabulous place. I've been coming here since my childhood and I love it.
The building itself is beautiful and the range of products is outstanding. They sell so many unique brands and items it would take too long to list them. If you're looking for something special, then Liberty is definitely going to be the place to find it.
Perfection.
Great for buying something a bit special that you wouldn't normally buy
I was amazed by the message. We must conserve the environment at all costs.
Excellent but slightly expensive department store just off Regents Street, this is a shop well worth visiting especially at Xmas as their displays have to be seen to be believed. The range of items stock are always of a high standard and vary throughout the year is awesome!
Definitely different!! One of the oldest department stores, selling pritty much everything, some of it slightly unusual and expensive.
Love this shop. Beautiful interior, a great selection and very attentive staff.
My first time at Liberty, and I was not dissapointed. It was fun to explore and look at all the designer clothes they have in store.
Very disappointed. Far too many makeup counters. Staff supersiliois and behaved as if the store was their domain. No idea about service at all. Need training. Not been for years and it feels as if it has lost it's way and the original USP all but lost.
Architecturally beautiful the exterior & interior...it has a body & soul...friendly and welcoming...an unforgettable experience even if you have just popped in to look for a lost friend.
A very good place for shopping. Amazing architecture and goods are displayed very well. Very friendly staff. Good choice of restaurant. Wheelchair and disabled friendly. Overall a good shopping place!
Best place to shop in London. The most beautiful things in town. I just love the brands they sell, especially shoes and bags. The upper floors pretty nice with pijamas and fabrics from the firm. Also very nice things for the home, love the salt and peppers of animals!!
At the top end of Carnaby, this is one of the more interesting department stores in the Oxford Street / Regent Street area. The "mini British food hall" has some interesting selections if you are searching for edible gifts / souvenirs.
Pro Tip: Don't ignore the window displays!
The most beautiful and original shop in the UK , can't wait to be able to visit again soon. I adore the atmosphere, history, products and service it's always a treat to spend time here.
Great place. Awesome Christmas Shop and well worth the visit. Extremely busy but we managed to navigate. Not advised to visit with a backpack as we noticed a few breakages happening for that reason! Great though.
They were really helpful and friendly at Maria Tash
One of the most beautiful places to shop in London is a luxurious place worth visiting
Don't come during Christmas unless you want to be trampled by hundreds of old women shopping for too expensive gifts for their grandkids, its complete mayhem. Outside of the holiday season, this place is amazing with an uniquely curated selection of goods. It's easy to get lost in this very different store. The building is strangely formatted but in the best way possible.
It's one of the nicest complexes I have visited. It's really fun to find all you want from the fun shopping, elegance and arrangement of the complex. I would recommend everyone to visit him
You always find something delightful at Liberty - even on a budget - and the staff are WONDERFULLY helpful.
Its nice that they kept old architecture but it needs maintenance. It gets way too hectic so may need to consider a bit of expansion too.
The liberty is the most iconic mall in London, worth a visit always but particularly more during the Christmas season, you'll find the best gifts in London
Excellent store, with some amazing history behind it. Would highly recommend a visit.
Original items artistic and fabulous old building. A wonder to walk around
My fav designer department store in London. Hardly any of the riff raff that you get in Selfridge's and Harrods.
A traditional British department store. The open floors make every view breathtaking as you shop each floor. Liberty is know for their fabric design. If you are a quilter or like to sew or decorate, visit the fabric floor!
Lovely department store. Was a tourist that day. Store is uniquely styled and organised. Good selection of products at London prices.
Lovely old style general store. Do not miss the posh Liberty textiles
One of the oldest original department store in London. Beautiful building and friendly staffs.
place was gorgeous, with a really nice variety of unique brands. To bad tho i didn't see any employees offering to help me else i might have bought something.. But defenitly something you don't want to miss while being in London.
Love everything about this shop. The Christmas shop is wonderful too.
I like liberty, the building itself, the fashion floor always had something to offer, the shop floor staff, the cafe is nice, as well as beauty corner ( cant call it a salon, please excuse me)
This time however it was a disappointment. What has happened to the buyers fashion sense and taste ? I would like to see the figures at the end of the season. Terrible , terrible ladieswear choices.
On the good note , the store managed to created a one way walking system ( sort of as it wasn't marked at all) and u had to guess which way to go . Thankfully, there were members of security team, directing you in or out.
The stoee Provided masks and antibacterial liquid for everyone in the store.
Really great stuff but it's a department store, super busy and is of course really pricey. But a really cool selection nonetheless.
This building was designed by Edwin T. Hall and his son Edwin S. Hall in the 1920s during a time of Tudor revival.
The shop was arranged around three atriums. Designed to feel like a home, each atrium was surrounded by smaller rooms, complete with fireplaces and furnishings.
Arthur Liberty had a furniture workshop in Archway, London run by Lawrence Turner. The workshop produced Liberty Arts and Crafts furniture and the intricately carved panels and pillars found throughout the store.
Miniature glass paintings found amongst the wood-panelling were taken from the captain's quarters.
The building is now a heritage listed London icon.
