I Bought car from them in February 2015. brand new Lexus gx460. they did not prep car right. Missing knobs on car, entertainment system locking up, stock number you can read on windshield. They asked me to bring it back any time so they can fix it. I been busy so When I had chance to bring it in first week of April with car having about1500 miles on it.

WHEN THEY DELIVER CAR HAVE SEARCHES ALL OVER THE CAR. INSIDE DOOR JAMS SCRATCHES. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT THEY DID DETAIL JOB, REPLACE MISSING KNOB, AND COULD NOT FIX MY ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM THEY CAN GET TO LOCK UP. WHEN I CONTACTED THEM THEY including their general manage did not response to my call. Stating we just did service, we have nothing to with damages we out source it??? Contact BBB they told them it was there before service. WOW><WOW<> you telling me brand new car with 1500 miles $70,000 car will have scratches through out the car.

BUYERS BE WARE THIS PEOPLE LIE AND COMPANY HAS NO INTEGRATE.

He answered all our questions quickly and honestly, and I never felt pressured into buying something I didn t want or need. My 17 year old went to have his Lexus serviced. I was very disappointed on how he was treated and ignored. The service department should take care of EVERY customer equally. I m sure if I was in there with my $90k car I would have been handled much differently. I hope that the service team reminds their group to pay attention to those that need more help.

Lexus of Austin service continues to amaze, even in social distanced Covid times. I bought an ES 300 from them in 1998 and they kept it in great shape for 20 years! Michael Capps was my service advisor during most of that. He is excellent: honest, reliable, friendly... Now I m 3 years in on an ES 350. With Michael and Lexus of Austin service, I m sure the next 17 years will be smooth sailing! Thanks, Michael!

I always have a good experience here but my most recent one solidifies the fact that I ll keep buying Lexus cars. I took my car to a shop closer to my house to do my inspection and was told they couldn t perform the emissions test because the computer couldn t connect to my car. I called Lexus and my service agent, Jimmy, was away from his desk so I left a message. I knew my warranty was running out at the end of the month so I called back and was able to get an appointment the following week, the 31st. Jimmy called me back & explained that Monday would be too late & the warranty would expire. He asked if I could come in that night & they would squeeze me in before closing. I rushed in and they were able to identify the issue, performed the inspection & I was good to go!
I was very impressed by not only Jimmy s service but everyone was friendly, as always, but especially at the end of the business day when I m sure they just want to home. Thank you, you have a forever customer in me.

Disappointed today. I went in because something has happened to my dashboard and it's sticky, almost as if it's melting. The service guy, very nice, explained due to customer complaints they were replacing the dashboards with this defect or problem, however they limited it to 10 years, 150k miles..... Well I have 153k. Really??? The problem didn't happen 3 thousand miles ago, it happened now. How can you limit repair of something that should not occur. Well, I believe in loyalty, actually went to the pre-owned sales center considering a purchase, but perhaps our relationship has run it's course. I'm very disappointed because I've enjoyed this car and sent many friends to Lexus. Loyalty to a product is just hard to find.

Well kept. However, avoid having any service work here. I took my vehicle to have a serpentine belt replaced, but they told me that they'll have to replace my alternator too. I trusted their opinion so I had them replace my alternator for over $800. Then several of my ES350's electronics started malfunctioning. So I asked if they can look at it again, but they told me that it'll be a $179 diagnostic fee. I reassured them that it was from their work, but they were still going to charge me the diagnostic fee regardless. AVOID HAVING ANY REPAIRS HERE. You're wallet will thank you. But atleast they are nice and respectful while they are adding extra charges.

Definitely not up to other Lexus dealerships I've dealt with. They are real moody and don't stand behind their work. But they do have a great coffee bar!

a nice dealership experience however they lost the co er to my seat adjustments so now i have 4 prongs protruding from the seat. the previous service appointment left me with one tire 42 psi pressure and the remaining with 35-37 psi. frustrating but still a good experience. it is simply these items that lower the rating and is a big difference from previous years with different ownership.

Things have changed since Penske took over the dealership. My service associate, Michael Capps, continues to provide excellent customer service, but the remainder of the experience was inefficient and not the usual pleasant experience I have been used to. I was not greeted immediately upon arrival at my designated time, had to wait inside, and when my name was called, the person immediately went over to another person, mistaking her for me! It took a while for my loner car to be ready, and I had to give my license and insurance twice. The final issue occurred at checkout, after I had paid my bill. It took so long to retrieve my car that I looked at my bill and noted I was charged for 7 quarts of oil, which was not done at this service. I now have a credit , but have lost the trust Have always had in this dealership. Someone needs to provide a course in customer service to all the new employees, and be attentive to details.

I called a week in advance to schedule an appointment. Requested a loaner vehicle but was declined due to this being an 1 hour and 40 min SHORT appointment. After waited for 2.5 hours, I inquired the status of my vehicle. The front desk told me my service adviser was with a costumer at front. 20 mins later I asked again, the advisor was at his desk and told me he had just gotten out of a meeting.

They hadn t started working on my car yet at this point. I ended up leaving with a loaner car after waited for 3 hours. 1 hour later they notified me that my car was done.

This was not the first time i received unsatisfactory service from Lexus of Austin. During my previous service appointment, the same advisor handed me back the car without it being washed and vacuumed. When questioned over the phone, he answered the car was washed and just got dirty after being outside. It was obvious from the amount of dust that my car wasn t washed. He promised me a detailing service when I return. When I returned with the car, the advisor wasn t there and the manager told me they do not offer detailing at all.

It was disappointing that there is no system in place for service advisors to check status and update clients. I found it difficult to trust the professionalism/quality in their service when an obvious, on the surface level procedure like washing could be missed.

Lexus of Austin is 5 Star in every aspect! Great interactions with all the staff from the knowledgeable Sales person when purchasing, the Finance Manager for borrowing, to the person who greets me when dropping off my car for service, and I'm so pleased by the calls and texts from my assigned Service Manager who keeps me informed during servicing!
If needed I'm provided a loaner vehicle during extended service time. And my car is returned all clean and sparkling, and the advisor gives me an update on all the work that was done when I'm complete.

Michael Capps is my new service consultant and I couldn t be more pleased. After introducing himself, Michael told me the items that a 30K oil maintenance would cover. Additionally, he said the loose bolts on my front fender would be tightened.
In thinking of my next appointment, I failed to mention this issue, but was glad he noticed it right away.

When Michael called to say the car was ready, he briefly gave me the status of the depth of tire tread, brake lining, etc. Lastly, my car was super clean when I picked it up.

I m happy Michael has been assigned to be my service consultant.

BEWARE OF LEXUS OF AUSTIN!!! (PLEASE READ)

August 24th-27th, 2020

My husband's Lexus RC needed an oil change after taking it to the coast last week. He has switched over to going to Lexus of Austin after a horrible experience with Lexus of Lakeway, even if we do live an hour away from the location. His car was dropped off on Monday, August 24th, for an oil change and was notified a couple of hours later that the rear window lining where the turn signal is located suddenly popped up after Lexus of Austin put the vehicle through their car wash. My husband warned them prior to leaving the vehicle that he thought the cap may be loose, so he asked them to be careful with handling the vehicle.

The next day, Lexus of Austin gives him a call and notifies him that the lining needs to be replaced and the part itself would be about $350+ (give or take), not counting the service charge. But Lexus of Austin staff, Leo Ruiz, my husband's service consultant advisor, stated that they will see what they can do after talking with Lexus to determine if it was fixed through another Lexus dealership and perhaps he can get some financial help. Two days later, he was notified that the total would be over $800 with the service charge, notifying my husband that they need to charge this price due to adding up all the costs namely, the part, service and for potential damage to the window.

We felt sick to our stomachs and asked to speak to the service manager, Penny Booth, who was not any help. She basically said the same statement Leo did, that she will determine if Lexus would help. We were stressed over the cost, so we decided to pay them a visit in person and get to the bottom of the situation. When we asked for Penny, a staff went to the back and tried to get her. He came back to ask us for the name who needs to be helped and when my husband said his name, he checked again only to conveniently tell us that she literally had just stepped out to take lunch... (After knowing who came to visit.) As stressed and disappointed as we were, I told my husband that perhaps we can call an auto repair shop to get a quote. We called Caliber Collision in Marble Falls and explained the situation. Brett Preiss, general manager, informed us that there is no way the price should be that much and to bring it to them. They were able to fix the problem within 20 minutes for $40 (tip that we decided to pay them as they were the kindest and most helpful service workers we've ever come across, let alone saving us over $800) without the hustle and stress Lexus of Austin had placed on us. Before leaving Lexus of Austin, Leo Ruiz, had talked to my husband letting him know to wait for Ralph, a Lexus staff who happens to have a higher position than the service manager, to determine if he can do anything. His reason was that "they didn't want us to pay and want to help us..."

You would think after having the car for three days, that they would have looked at all options and avenues to help if they did in fact want to do this for us. Instead, they put us through a ringer, during a time of uncertainty and hardship. It was disheartening to say the least that people can be this way and truly shows their colors when it is about their career. Be a good person and do the right thing, instead of causing hardship to someone else. We are never going back to any Lexus dealership knowing they are willing to take advantage of people simply because they "think" they can. Please be advised to really think about your options before going to Lexus of Austin. They are heartless and worthless leeches who just want you to pay extra for literally something so small. Thank you Lexus of Austin for allowing us to write this review for you and let the city of Austin know how terrible y'all really are.

Trying to schedule service through the website is horrible. Once I contacted my service rep. he worked with me to get my car in for service - he was outstanding!

This review is just for the service center. The online scheduling for service is very convenient. However, IMO, the scheduling needs to be adjusted for capacity. Went in for an oil change, which lasted longer than expected. I recommend either increasing service staff or adjusting the scheduling system.

Luckily, the waiting area has many amenities including free drinks and snacks. Eases the pain of waiting. Also, decent wifi bandwidth.

After having great service for five years, and leasing two cars from this dealer, we went back for a third and were treated very poorly. We were not allowed to work with our original sales person, who was wonderful, but instead were pawned off on an assistant who clearly was very inexperienced and did not help the process. The sales manager was not helpful, was not interested in working with us or finding a solution. He would not step through any of it and basically gave us a take it or leave it option and did not care if we walked. He asked the assistant to follow up with us, which she never did. Apparently they no longer care about customer loyalty or perception of the brand, or the type of service they give their returning customers. We have taken our business elsewhere, to Acura, and were treated with decency and respect.

I recently purchased my Lexus here. The service was outstanding. Lance was so helpful. This is the first time I was shown all the ins and outs of dealership. It was awesome to see how everything comes together and the quality offered here. I would highly recommend this dealership and if you are going for pre-owned vehicle definitely stop by and ask for Lance.

Lexus of Austin is not concerned with customer safety. I have been trying to schedule an oil change for my vehicle. I am no longer conveniently located to any of their locations, so I asked for a weekend appointment for my oil change. I was told that, even though they have weekend oil changes available, I can't come in for a weekend oil change because I also have a recall on my airbag and there are no technicians available who know how to do airbag replacements on a Saturday. I had to wait nearly 3 weeks to get scheduled. They literally refused to schedule the oil change. I was advised by their service tech that they can't legally release the car to me after the oil change without fixing the airbag first. Most likely because they don't want to be sued. However they are TOTALLY comfortable putting my health and safety in jeopardy by essentially forcing me to drive my car for more than a month past the date the oil change was due, all the while with a faulty air bag, which if deployed (or not) might result in my death. Way to go Lexus of Austin! I have never experienced such disregard for customer's health and safety. I was looking forward to purchasing a new Lexus as mine is just paid off, but I guess I'll have to find a different brand. Maybe BMW has better regard for customer health and safety.

Randy did an excellent job of selling me my ES 350 (3 of them). He is the quintessential professional car salesman. There was never any pressure to purchase. He explained all the features and benefits of the Lexus. The sales manager and him helped me purchase the Lexus at a fair competitive market price. Randy is always very friendly when I get my car serviced and washed and always asks me if he can do anything for me. He is definitely an asset to this dealership and why I return to buy my cars.

She knew I was a first time buyer and I was at work the whole day, so she helped make the process a lot easier. I just went to Lexus after work and signed the papers! While I am satisfied with the leak problem fix last week, coincidentally the obstacle sensor ceased working! Must have something to do with the work done on my car. Can you please help take care of that immediately? FYI, the seat memory function quit working all of a sudden a few weeks back. I trust you will rectify these problems per your usual customer care.

I came in with certain cars I had been looking at online and had a certain mindset, and Camey anticipated my wants and needs and got me into the car that fit best with my lifestyle. IMO she went above and beyond to cater to my decision process, which in my book is A++ service! Everyone there is attentive and positive, which helps with the long afternoon car buying process. Will never do business here again! Five vehicles in 12 years from this dealership - and they charged me $279 for a tiny cut on the outside wall of one tire and said it was 'excessive wear' - the car was 3 years old and had only 24,900 miles!!! The tread was good on all 4 tires (but the cut was excessive???) and the interior was in showroom condition. The person I spoke with said that didn't matter. I'll take my business where it does matter.

Lexus of Austin is the best!!! I typically do not write reviews, but they keep impressing me with their genuine service. It has taken me a while to give Dean Royal and Lexus of Austin as a whole, a great shout out, but I have to let them and everyone know how much I appreciate them. I saw a 2013 RX 350 online that I was very interested in. I stopped by on my way to work and they set an appointment up for me to check it out. Dean took me to look at my new car. He showed me all of the options and how to use them. My car glides down to highway and is extremely comfortable, making long distance trips more desirable and less tiring upon arrival. Everything about this car is perfect for me. Just the right amount of options and space in the vehicle. Dean took care of me and made my car buying experience a nice one instead of a major headache. I did not have to go to the DMV for new tags. I did not have to go get my car inspected. Dean took care of it all. Trading in my Toyota 4 Runner was easy as well. Dean was extremely polite and professional. He even showed me the easiest route to the free car wash on site, what to expect, and to turn off parking sensors and fold in mirrors. After my car purchase was finalized, the manager came over to congratulate me and welcome me to the family. My car was washed, polished, and ready to go. After a month of owning my car, I received a call from Dean making sure I was happy with my new car. And of course, the answer was YES! Thank you Dean Royal and everyone else at Lexus of Austin!

Everyone takes pride in their role at Lexus of Austin and the culmination of their efforts is extremely visible. My husband and I enjoy the complimentary cafe and waiting room as well. Service cost are higher than a non dealership - but I feel 1000 times more confident in this locations work and their ownership of that work. We had a Subaru before and our experience with the service department was okay and seems so lacking now that we see what Lexus of Austin offers. Matt Leblanc is a great specialist as well.
