Lots to do with kids, had great fall vacation activities.

Love to come here. There is something for all age groups and the craftsmen at the various working workshops are so welcoming that you are guaranteed to learn something new every time you visit the place.

Lovely scenery in hilly area, a good experience for all ages.se the old houses from the Stone Age Viking age see how they lived back then, potter, blacksmith, yarn favourage etc ...., See animals, stone mounds, the big new royal hall, take in and hear the story of it. , the children can bake and cook snow bread, bring their own food (but you can buy some food, drink, ice cream, coffee, etc ...) and enjoy it in the green, take a boat trip, feed fish in the waterfront natural medicine garden. recommendable.

The 20 entry is worth every single we had one of the nicest days in our holiday in Denmark and those who come here should sturdy shoes and a picnic and explore the land of the legend. It's probably one of the best tourist attractions I've ever tried. The new royal hall is just . As a craftsman, I am very impressed with the craftsmanship that is done in the park. The only thing that pulls down, too few extras, probably due to covid, as other visitors do not take a shit seriously, and there is simply not enough control over distances, and booze, etc. Otherwise worth the money, definitely

Can easily see you can spend a whole day in this legend and nature area. Large open area with many different activities. You can live in cabins there and live like in the old days, if you do not, you can look at those who bother. There are animals and lots of good things to do with children. Opportunity to sail and see many old houses, wild boar and sheep.

Was on a course in a student course. 2 really good and skilled employees.

We were the whole family at Viking market in Sagnlandet, and we had a fantastic day. What makes the place magical are all the people who dressed up play Vikings with soul and spirit, and several times we were asked where we came from where our robes were, and what it was for something strange something I had on my nose ( glasses), for great fun for the kids !!
Everything is mega authentic, ranging from the fighting Vikings, the smith's stroke to the anvil, and clothes and equipment worn are all made as one did 1300 years ago. Very fascinating and at several times we felt that we had entered a time machine.
The only minus was the cafe, which was overpriced, and extremely slow service by some very young girls (who didn't quite know what they were doing), so from here I would definitely recommend taking a large and delicious picnic basket with good drinks (for there is really a lot to see). I hope in getting a good trip :)

It is a super good place for everyone, especially family trip with children, many places with different things to try, how to sail srammekano, shoot with bow arrow, throw spears, bake your own bread, everything from Stone Age Iron Age Viking Age and Middle Ages, smithy, loom mm Set aside a whole day

Nice place for the family who also want some historical input. Remember that when you buy a hallway, it applies for a whole year.

If you are ready to go for a little longer walk around with gravel paths, it is a really nice walk to walk through a scenic landscape and at the same time walk past different settlements etc. from different time periods in ancient times. Incredible real experience from back in time. The kids were crazy about talking to the old Vikings. Many handson experiences.

Lovely people, and a wonderful piece of the world. Many of their tasks for the public has been shut down due to covid 19 and the overall experience suffers a bit because of that. But still had a great day.

Very many and good stories for all ages in the form of the historic city community and from the very dedicated staff. I was there with my family and both kids of 6 and 9 got really much out of it.

It was a really good day we had here in the land of legend. So a day trip to camps land it is highly recommended.

We missed a little better marking in relation to where you can move with a tow truck. We had to tow and lift it several times. Besides that it was a great day even though some things were closed PGA covid 19.

Lovely place to visit. Don t forget to get a guide or download their application as it makes the experience better. Also when visiting during summer, there s a opportunity to grill, so you might consider doing that as well.

Exciting surroundings that provide a good insight into how people lived in the Stone Age, the Iron Age, the Viking Age. Kongeborgen is incomparably beautiful, the guide inspiring.
The area is well maintained, facilities good. Definitely worth a visit!

Lovely place. Perhaps descriptions / explanations could be set up at the various houses. Just for those who do not want to walk around Sagnlandet with their mobile phone in hand and read in the app ..

Fantastic place. You can move around on your own hand and in your own pace. Lots of interesting stuff to investergate and intervene with. Fx you can make your bread viking style or go sailing in a canoo.

Kongshallen is worth the five stars. The reconstruction of the huge 8th century royal hall is World class. Read the Beowulf Drape before visiting Lejre

A mega good place for family with children. It is a despite corona time a great place with a lot of exciting things to see and experience and then there is just a wonderful nature in a hilly landscape. Can only be recommended.

Loved it here. Would love to come one day when no one else was around to take pictures but was an amazing experience still. Its right on the edge of a cliff, natural and situated with amazing views

Beautiful Viking Park. Lots to do for young and old, chopping wood is a must while enjoying smoldering fire and encouraging people. Fun!

Lovely outdoors, but there is not much to do. They could put up some signage if it is to get a stroller or stroller on the trails, the first part of the path we walked was somewhat bumpy, but it went with stroller, but later it would have been impossible if we only had been two persons.

A journey back to the past. However, there was not much activity in the cities and it seems that not much is happening. The only thing new is the royal hall and the stone ships since we were there just over ten years ago. It would suit them to have more houses and buildings built from through time so you get a sense of everyday life throughout history. Some more extras would also be in place with a contract of DKK 175. Unfortunately, Kongehallen seems artificial and unauthentic with the electric lamps and artificial bonfires. Large parts of the timber are machine-made and with built-in drawers along the floor, you feel like you are visiting a wannabe copy Master who has done decidedly vandalism against the historical craft. The landscape that houses the exhibition is, on the other hand, completely unique, with a hilly landscape with beautiful viewpoints along the marked hiking trails.

Have been there on weekends and holidays for the last 13 years. It is a wonderful sanctuary with beautiful nature in the Hertha Valley. Ice age landscape with good walks. Highly recommended

We were in line to get in. Incredibly many visitors, cars a lot and 5 buses.
