Absolutely beautiful resort to go to as a family. We went with our 3 month old baby and they were so accommodating. There was a cot, baby bath & even diaper bin put in the room. Will definitely recommend Preskil Island Resort to anyone!

Beware the ALL INCLUSIVE of this hotel has nothing to do with those of the Dominican Republic, there are * everywhere, for the price paid they could do less stingy. Otherwise for the setting, cleanliness, food it was good but I will never go there again.
We stayed there from January 4th to 11th, and were disappointed! The setting is great but the food is the same everyday and the rooms are very dated, leaking water ... renovations are planned!
Unique and awesome experience. Best food at a la carte restaurant and even for the buffet. The buffet was above expectations and provided an almost gastronomic type of food. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere even if it is not an adult only hotel. As for the gym, it has world class equipment and is very well maintained. Cleanliness across the hotel and in the room was impeccable. The concept of a resort on an island, with its magnificent views of Iles aux Aigrettes and the Lion mountain is simply mind-blowing.
Have a wonderful time at Preskil Island Resort. Special thanks Rakesh, Deepak, Vega in the kitchen . Thanks to the old team who took care of us as usual. Definitely we are coming back with our twins.
Preskil was slightly dated when we visited, although I heard that they are planning a revamp spoon. That said, the older style building is quite charming and is set in a truly gorgeous location, there are exquisite views, friendly staff, delicious food, accessible water sports and calm water (there is a reef further out that makes the lagoon perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.) There is a dive centre on site and 4 different places to eat. There are plenty of activities available if you want to adventure or you can just enjoy waiter service on the beach, room service etc. Everything you would expect from a 4* hotel for an enjoyable Mauritian break. We were particularly impressed with the lovely receptionist who greeted us on arrival and one of the waiting staff who remembered us from day to day and looked after us so well.
I spent an amazing day at Preskil. The weather was sunny and the crystal blue water was just beautiful. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who is very kind and all of them make sure that we were having quality time together.we are very thankful to Krishna who was so kind to us.We highly recommend Preskil for the kindness of people, good service , excellent buffet from different islands. The experience was awesome and we will definitely come back.
Nice hotel with wonderful sandy beach. The peninsula on which the hotel is located in a huge lagoon which makes the water is always very quiet. The area was very clean as well as the rooms. The only negative point in our room was that the shower was a bit in need of renovation. The staff was very friendly everywhere and the food very good especially in the tapas restaurant and steakhouse, the food is highly recommended.
Calm and to some extent secluded seaside resort. Very nice beach. Sea ideal for swimming. Offers large range of services. Popular holiday resort among the domestic and international tourists. Pleasant staff. Upscale hospitality establishment, ideal for business travellers. Good WiFi connexion. Good gym. Good and large variety of food offered at the restaurant.
Very nice hotel that has just been redone. We had a family room with 2 balconies on the 1st floor. Full of non-paying activities. Staff was really caring. We stayed for 8 nights. Hotel very clean and very well maintained. To recommend without hesitation. Close to Mahebour and the airport.
Great resort, we had a great time with my wife, kind and reserved staff. The entertainment is not intrusive but only speak French and English. Various activities to do and free water skiing for all. We had the all-inclusive and we didn't need anything, just pay attention that you don't only pay for the things marked in the menu marked by the "*". Recommended for everyone
Passing for our 25 years of marriage, the setting and service have fully met our expectations. A listening of all the moments and all the teams allowed us to spend a delicious moment. We highly recommend this property!
Good morning, I m jp from preskil beach resort. For all lovers of the sea, such as kite surfers, snorkelers, divers n fishing amateur, this is the hotel to choose with great lagoon, magnificent scenery.
A heavenly place by the sea. The atmosphere that this place exudes is very soothing, the decoration is perfect in an exotic woody style, the team is helpful, cheerful and willing to please us as much as possible.
Beautiful Hotel on an Island. Family friendly. Food is delicious, and choice of 3 restaurants. Many activities by leisure team, night animation top everyday (Y).
The beach and the surrounding area are very nice. The service in the hotel is sufficient to poor. We had the impression that the French were given preferential treatment. This impression was confirmed in discussions with other vacationers. The rooms are in need of renovation. Plus points is the service on the beach here you get the drinks brought to your seat. Unfortunately not at the pool. The room was only available from 2 p.m. as there were no rooms available beforehand, so we were allowed to wait for our room with a 14 month old child from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. We were also not offered a spare room to bridge the gap. We could observe that this was the case with many guests. The wrong planning is at the expense of the travel agency. In my opinion, the travel agent should point out such circumstances. Other guests who only had their return flight in the late evening hours were taken from their rooms at 1 p.m. and every right to eat until they were picked up for transfer to the airport. Gracious weisse, the vacationers were allowed to stay on the premises until the pick-up date. Our conclusion: NOT RECOMMENDED.
friendly staff if you are not on an inclusive package you can expect to pay extra for drinks and meals other than the buffet dining hall which are not cheap even for the EU. rooms comfortable and clean best to upgrade to a prestige as the sea front is wonderful. beware of taxis when going anywhere negotiate first otherwise you will pay extra generally this is prevalent throughout Mauritius. With most things bartering is the norm .As a first timer worth doing this way before venturing out and going the self catering route which should be cheaper. Swimming and snorkeling excellent because of the protection of the reef but you will need water shoes or boots which you can purchase for a small sum. weather conditions were cyclonic initially turning to wonderful sunny days later and not too hot
The spot is beautiful but the approximate service (missing wines on the map, end of complicated buffet, expensive cocktails and not even a small biscuits apero). Enjoy free activities including water skiing.
A dream place, spectacular sea and very kind and always smiling staff. It is a bit difficult to make myself understood but fortunately my husband and I met Deepak, the room manager who is the only one who speaks Italian, who followed us in everything and for everything. However it is an experience that I recommend you do even if eating and coffee leave something to be desired.
A beautiful location, attentive staff, and a good range of food at the buffet. However, there were issues with communication sometimes (at least in English), ants coming into the room and, while others in our party reported that their floor was mopped daily, our floor did not seem to be cleaned during our week there, meaning dirty feet - I resorted to using socks to walk around the room (the supplied disposable slippers were too small for me) and had to throw one pair of my socks away as they were so filthy. A couple in our party got married here, and it is a beautiful location for that, but be aware that the rest of the beach around you is still open to other guests, so you may have onlookers a short distance away.
Excellent stay at this hotel. A very warm welcome and rapid support. High quality catering from breakfast to dinner. We even enjoyed a breakfast with our feet in the water on the beach and a candlelit dinner. A very relaxing massage. A staff and a management team very attentive to its customers. A pleasant room with a sea view and very clean. Top entertainment. And quality nautical activities: water skiing, pedalo and a trip of over an hour in glass bottom boats with the encounter with a giant turtle. To recommend without hesitation.
My wife and I stayed at Preskil Beach Resort for two weeks, the time we spent here was very nice. The hotel complex is super nice and very well maintained, the rooms are nicely furnished and relatively modern. The room staff is very nice and very accommodating, the rooms were cleaned and tidied up every day. The food was very good, there was a big problem for everyone, only that the food consisted of 10 dishes that were repeated at some point, which made the food very monotonous. People who like to eat coconuts will get their money's worth, especially the sweet ones of you. What we can highly recommend is the steakhouse and the tapas bar. The food is great, the service is very good and super friendly, can only be recommended. The beach is also very nice, you lie under palm trees everywhere and you can go snorkeling really nicely, as the whole coast is actually just a reef. The water is so shallow that you can still find places to stand three hundred meters out.
What wasn't so good is quickly told. But that made sure that we deducted two stars. For one thing, we had all inclusive, which wasn't bad, except that you really had to be careful what you ordered. Even with all inclusive there were drinks or dishes that you had to pay for. You can also take half board. Almost the same. You could also have lunch in the Indigo Bar, but the staff there is very slow and you wait almost 1 hour for your "fast food". It takes another half an hour to order something.
Shame about the negative things, but by and large it's ok.
Rooms are very dated even with outside air conditioning. Even pots of water in the room. We had a lot of mosquitos in our room, a shame management needed two days to change the room. We had breakfast in the hotel and dinner buffet. I really can't say positively, frozen fish is grilled every day that doesn't taste good. Breakfast always the same food. Beach is nice with limited capacity. SPA is TOP. Location is very good, quick connection to the airport.
My daughter and l both enjoyed our holiday at the Preskil Beach Resort. We enjoyed the pristine beach, pretty gardens and loved dining Al fresco in the gentle Island breezes each evening. On our trips out, the local people treated us with friendly respect and were very helpful. Our arrival and departure from the hotel ran very smoothly.
