This place is really heavenly. In my opinion the most beautiful. The largest and most complete spa in North America. I just love it!!!

It is so relaxing and the all of the staff are amazing!

Amazing experience, particularly on a snowy day and spas+restaurants functional even with power outages!
Best to attend on weekdays if you want to avoid large crowds, but so many to choose from allow to find a good and not crowded spot most of the time

Spent three hours in the baths and two hours getting a massage and body treatment! A very relaxing day that melted my stress. The spa is beautifully located in a wooded part of the Gatineau Park that allows you to feel like you are a million miles from the city, but in reality it is only a 20 min drive.

Great relaxing place!!! Very pricey and food menu could be better but there has definitely been alot of improvement on it.... Absolutely love it here.

The spa is very nice. Essentially a bunch of different types of saunas and pools.
My issue is with the lack of quiet in the no speaking zones. I guess people can't read in either official language...
Twice we had our time at the Kalla treatment (salt pool) interrupted by a loud boisterous group. One time someone was taking pictures with their cell phone. Also people swimming with their baseball caps?
The spa needs better security to prevent this especially at the price. Total cost around $600 for two with one hour massage.

Fantastic place with many different saunas and outside pools. Fabulous location and views. Great restaurant and bar with wonderful views. Very relaxed atmosphere with diversity of clientele.

I wouldn t go back there for a massage, it was overpriced and not great. I went on a weekday and the pools were super busy, it was more annoying than relaxing. Only thing I liked was the kalla floating pool, it wasn t as crowded and quite therapeutic.

They have a significant problem with capacity management. We circled the parking lot for 20 minutes looking for a spot after driving an hour from Ottawa West. There were several hundred cars jammed into every parking space, obscure corner, and roadside. How many hundreds of people do you want to be around for a "relaxing" spa day?... assuming you can find a place to park!! We called and cancelled our reservation since we had no success in finding parking, and they assured us we would not be charged. I'll be monitoring that closely due to a lack of trust I now have for Nordic.

After reading dozens of recent reviews, it appears this is the new norm. I will NOT return, and certainly will not be purchasing the several hundred dollars worth of yearly Nordic gifts I typically do. What a shame.

Ok Spa, but be honest with your policies. They are way too hard to find, we saw many people confused as well.

Incredibly relaxing and serene location. Definitely recommend the epsom salt package.

Nordik Spa is my favorite place to spend time to relax. I also enjoy having luch or dinner after the whole experience since, the menu is simple yet satisfying.

Less pricy outside holidays. Spend a little more and stay all day. Personally, I prefer to go In A cold climate. 0 and below

I was pretty apprehensive about going to a spa as I have never really done anything like it before. I was a little self-conscious going since putting on a little office job weight, but after a little while, it became clear that no one cared. The relaxed atmosphere just made everything complicated in life melt away. There are so many different saunas to try but all I know is they're a great precursor to relaxing in an infinity hot tub with a drink while admiring the gorgeous views offered by rural Quebec. If that's not your thing then relax by a fire or take a nap in one of the quiet rooms. The only reason I haven't given this place five stars is due to some of the clientele not respecting the quiet/murmur zones and there being no enforcement by staff.

As always, an absolutely wonderful experience. Took a friend who never before had been to a spa, let alone had a massage. She had no idea, and now is forever spoiled. No other spa compares. Thank you to all the staff who make this experience such a delight.

Great place to sweat and cool of. Nice wine to it especially in the middle of freezing cold night.

Our experience was soothing and pleasant, if I only gave it a chance to have a good time when I was in my life. cam over and hushed us.

Our experience was relaxing and pleasant, if I only did 4 , it was because of a young security guard who was walking with a chip on his shoulder and 10 gallons of attitude, when someone has daring to ask me a question, it does it quickly and rudely. came and shut us up.

Everything was great till the time to leave. No hot water for the shower to go home. Prices for drinks also extremely expensive.

First time back since 2015. Was looking very much forward to the eucalyptus Turkish sauna (humid), but was disappointed to find a strange unpleasant smell upon entry (after the first door that leads to the two saunas (eucalyptus on the left and orange on the right). I LOVE the smell of eucalyptus and thoroughly enjoyed it last time, but the funky odour this time turned me off and ended up not staying as long as I wanted.

They should consider making a partition in the lockers for shoes for the sake of better hygiene.

Would also like to see lower partitions between the shower stalls; water was splashing through the adjacent stall and the neighbour's soapy water was all flowing towards my stall's drains (unlevelled tiles??)

Had a good lentil soup for lunch. It was Indian style, not creamy type.

Who doesn't love le Nordik. The calla treatment was lovely.

Happy with the visit, but it feels super dumb that you wait in line for two hours because they can't get people through the cash registers fast enough.

Far superior to other similar Ontario spas, Le Nordik is a must-experience. I always said I wasn't a spa person... But now I'm a convert. We go a few times a year and we've realized there's no bad time or season to go. Go early on Saturdays though to beat the line. Stay for lunch, and a drink in the infinity pool is a must, especially in the autumn.

It is nice of course, even better than seen on pics, but I have to admit I was unpleasantly surprised by the staff. Came with my baby and carried stroller all the way up and no one even mentioned babies are not allowed, they didn't say anything at the front desk, so after going to the lockers and putting on my swim suit, a lady I guess manager comes to me at tells me babies are not allowed and ask me to leave. I told her that I couldn't find any info on the website if kids are allowed( its written that baths, saunas and relaxation areas are for 16 up). But I was confused by them saying on the website you can breastfeed baby and they will show you the room for that, but why would you bring baby if they are not allowed. Anyway she gave me some stupid explanation that didn't make sense so I dont even remember now what was it, because it was so stupid.So I came back without baby and beside this unpleasant experience, everything else was ok.

Beautiful site. But the management of the site remains to be reviewed. No instructions. No request to remain silent. Virtually no surveillance for noise. This kills the spa experience a lot, hearing lots of people talking loudly next to you.

This place was amazing. My bestfriend and I went at the end of November. Cold enough with some snow, we got a treatment and spent the whole day there. Great, light food, atmosphere was amazing. Will be going back there for sure.

Shed the stress and feel like new. It's an amazing experience and worth every penny. The food served was especially outstanding!

Not as enjoyable as in the past... i guess due to reduced staff, no one tells the annoying people to keep quiet...there were people swinging in hammocks and yelling at each other...there were people talking on their speaker phones...
Normally, we spend the day there.... but this time was not very relaxing at all, ended up leaving after a couple of hours. Disappointing.

A beautiful setting, well laid out. $75. Per person you can spend the entire day. Worth every penny. Clean facilities an oasis from water.

Beautiful spa, great massage options, but the lineup to get in was awful. The 45 minute wait took the relaxation right out of it for me.

The grounds are stunning, the pools, steam rooms and saunas are wonderful. The staff is horrendous. And for the amount you pay, they still nickel and dime everything.

1. Debbie at the front desk was rude and just seemed to not care. Did not want to answer questions, or give directions. They also do not have maps, we overheard several others skiing for one as well.

2. You have to rent robes and buy flip flops if you don't bring your own (We are from the US, we didn't fly to ottawa in January with sandals or a bulky robe). Every other spa I have been to includes sandals and a robe.

3. Massage - good (just a normal massage).

4. Facial was horrendous. Shorted on time by about 15 minutes. They give you a mask, say they will leave it on for 8 minutes, then leave the room (for my friends and I they left for approximately 12 minutes). They could give a massage or something during that time. No extraction, no foot rub as advertised, no face rub - just a waste of $100. She also started late and ended early. The facials were done by Maria.

5. When we were leaving we stopped at the counter to ask for change - no making change for American (this was to be expected). While at the counter I mentioned the terrible facial, they said nothing, asked no questions, basically just dismissed my complaint. Then we asked for a taxi to be called, they said they had a number, but that we had to call on our own. We were lucky we had international cell service or we wound have been out of luck.

6. The cab company info they gave us sent a driver that smoked in his car, and began telling us how much he liked Donald Trump because he was going to destroy the world. Just a weird and very creepy ride.

We spent $600 on our day. And thought we were going to a luxury spa. Customer service is severely lacking and made the experience a negative one. The staff is not inclined at all to help out provide any type of real customer service. We went on a Thursday afternoon/ evening. It was not super busy, and the staff was just chatting with each other, rather than actually helping the guests. Spending that much money should include great customer service.

Great location, but horrible customer service. The staff was rude and mean, especially for a place so expensive. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Best spa I've ever been to! The food is great and there's vegan options!

Too busy, didn't like the exemption of silence for the holidays in the quiet areas, food service was painfully slow. Coffee maker was broken in the bistro so they sent us to the lounge for the coffee included in the table d'hote. The line in the lounge was so long we left empty handed. Though the food was good, overall we've had better experiences there. Maybe going during the holidays was asking for trouble.

An exceptional venue to spoil yourself or a friend. Highly recommended. Bring your own flip-flops, robe and water bottle.

I am reading all these terrible reviews so I thought I would come and write a positive review since I had a positive experience. My friends took me for my 30th birthday this past Sunday and I thought it was awesome. The customer service was great, every time I asked for a new towel I was handed one with a smile. Even in one of the sauna's an employee came in with fresh towels for us. We arrived at about 1:00 and stayed till 5:00, we had lunch in the little outdoor restaurant and even though there wasn't a huge selection and it was pricey it was still very good. I did not have any problems in the change room and I love the fact that they have plastic bags for you for your wet stuff. The smells all over the place were so nice and the music was very relaxing. We only had one problem with people talking in the silent zone but that was later in the afternoon. Staff earlier were coming by with silent signs but later in the afternoon they weren't around with the signs and that's when people were talking. I will for sure be coming back and can't wait to bring people who have never had the experience. I believe people who are writing bad reviews either haven't been recently or are just too nit picky. I would highly recommend "Le Nordik" for a relaxing time.

This getaway was highly disappointing. I'm coming from Vancouver, I heard that this was the best spa in Canada. To my surprise , It was very disappointing how Spa Nordic Nature really handled my situation. Before the night was done ,I was going into the change room with my friend to finish my relaxing night. I was in TOTAL SHOCK.The lockers were MOSTLY ALL OPEN except other people's locker including my friend were still closed. My locker was 301 and it was open!! ALL my belongings EXPOSED , PURSE OPENED, and my Belongings DISPLACED and missing MONEY. I DID not leave my LOCKER OPEN, When I proceeded to ask the employees that were downstairs in the change room why my locker was open , she literally said I DIDN'T KNOW SOMEONES BELONGINGS WERE IN THERE. They were not mindful of my security and quite frankly it was an invasion of privacy. I AM VERY UPSET. I proceeded upstairs to speak to the manager and he told me he would INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER and ASSURED ME he would call me back Monday. I still have not received a call or an email. Spa Nordik has an Obligation to ensure the safety of consumers belongings by giving us our own Lock wristband. Incidents like this SHOULD NOT happen whatsoever. I would not recommend bringing any of your expensive belongings because even with its guaranteed Locker Rules. Your never safe. I will not be back to this place AT ALL.

Food was stuff I can get at the grocery store same brand and all. The mock Dead Sea Spa was relaxing but Don't let your head go under water I had water in my ear for a week. the facilities we're over crowded when we were there. We couldn't get in to use key parts of the spa. The hotbeds we're full. The orange room was closed. I would not go during the weekend. We may go back when it is less busy. It was pricey though.

Spent a day here with my wife. Luxury environment and service. No detail missed. Very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend for couples getaway.

Honestly today just wasn't up to par .. both the duo plate and dip combo had vegetables which were tasteless and obviously sitting dry for a long period in the fridge as you could see the white crustiness on it..

Being told by the little boy at the front to stand side by side in line, like lining up for school when there was barely a line and scolded for not doing it fast enough .. shame, take a breath..

The Banna section was closed but I know they do updates and maintenance so that wasn't a concern, however the barely cool showers when I left instead of being able to be warm..

Lastly I appreciate the new reservation system, however trying to get by the same girls as I leave feels like trying to get by the herd getting in, maybe a separate entrance and exit system :-)

No longer a place to go if you want to relax. Has become too overcrowded, the infinity pool has become a party spot that now has a fence for a view. Very disappointed with my last two visits.

Although a very busy spa, there was plenty of opportunity to find a place to relax. Nice selection of pools, saunas and relaxation spots. It was lovely to easily get a drink to rehydrate during the day. I paid extra to try the salt water pool as I had never done one before and found it beautifully relaxing. The only thing was the way the water flowed meant everyone ended up in the same corner after a few minutes of floating. The food was reasonable but not exceptional, though I was not there for the food.

Beautiful place for a relaxing spa day or weekend but be prepared to pay for it...

This place is a cash grab all the way. They overbook on weekends, ESPECIALLY long weekends. If you like long lines at a spa; this place is for you. The massage room was cold. The table linens were ratty. A total factory spa experience. Contrary to what I was told on the phone, the hydrotherapies ARE NOT included in your body therapy fee. I won t be back.

Lovely once you are in, but not very accessible. There are a lot of stairs upto and in the building and there is no elevator. There is accessible parking to the side of the building but there is still a flight of stairs and you still need to wait in line to pay with no seating by the cash.

Once you are in the spa area there less steps and more seats. Worth the exhaustion for me.

Second time at Nordik and I will definitely be back for a third. Great facilities, accommodating staff and a breathtaking location. I wanted to highlight the excellent massage I received from Emmanuel. He is very professional, kind and knowledgeable with an employee like him it is no wonder Nordik Spa is a great success! Well worth the cost!! Something for every type of relaxer. My wife loved the cocoon hammock! (Mid November. Amazing in the cold and snow!)

The staff are amazing, and often so very busy. All the equipment is kept in perfect working order. And you can see that the owners are continually putting money back into improving the experience. Well done

Absolutely unbelievable. The variety of things to do was exceptional. And the quality and care put into ensuring a relaxing environment is unmatched.

The facility is great. The crowd could use some help in being mindful to the volume levels of conversation. It doesn't feel like a relaxing place to be with groups chatting openly. More staff providing reminders to whisper may help, there was only one today. I would also recommend adding signage along The walk way to reception asking for silence and peacefulness to get guests ready for the experience. The intake process could use improvement as well. Although the staff was very helpful, we waited an hour to get in. Thanks

My rating reflects the facilities in the spa. There is a lot to do and my friend and I mostly enjoyed our day. The Banya treatment and 90 minute Swedish massage were great. However, we were disturbed by the sight of a total of five customers using mobile phones throughout the day even though they are forbidden in the spa itself. Most were taking selfies or pictures of their friends, scrolling and one person was making a call in the silent area. Once we moved away because we felt uncomfortable and didn t want to be captured in the background of a photo. Only once did we see a member of staff approaching a customer to ask them to stop using their phone and place it in the changing area. That person was very dismissive of the staff member and although we left the area before it was resolved I hope that he eventually listened. Management need to tackle this issue head on as it definitely put a cloud over our day and I am sure we are not the only customers who noticed this happening.

Came here with a friend as a birthday gift and it was amazing! Definitely the best massage I've ever had and lots of hot pools to relax in. We had a drink and shared a meal at one of the restaurants which was delicious, but not too filling to feel bloated for our spa day. I rented a robe and flip flops which was much needed since we went in April and you have to walk around outside to get from building to building. The saunas and steam rooms were all very clean. All staff were friendly and added to a great experience. This was a perfect day of pampering and I can't wait to come back.

Very nice place, and beautiful facilities but which welcomes far too many people at the same time. Result, noise everywhere. People who talk in saunas, heated pools, hamam. No one among the staff to ensure that silence is respected. The price is also high, the bathrobe is extra, and when it is soaked, you have to pay to change it (that is to say that I was quite cold in winter). Snacks and restaurant are also very expensive. Finally cold showers when leaving. In short, a beautiful place to spend a nice time, but it's a bit of a factory and for the relaxing and calm atmosphere of the spa, that was not it.
