Love Nordik! If I could go once a week I would! Very enjoyable experience. I got to get in some much needed relaxation. Lounging in a hammock outside taking a nap is always a highlight of a visit. My last massage was great but I find it depends which therapist you see.

Overall I highly recommend! If possible go on a weekday early in the morning to have the best experience.

Love going to this spa for a relaxing day and maybe some excellent drafts to drink in the hot tubs. The weekend pricing is getting a bit steep and not willing to exchange robes is ridiculous, especially when it is cold.

Lovely Spa with terrible business practices. They asked me to email them a photo of my photo id and credit card to take my gift certificate and would not refund it when I refused.

Amazing Spa! Pro tip is that they will swap your rental robe once a day, will definitely need that after a couple of pool sessions.

A very nice place with superb facilities. Lots of different saunas and a very warm atmosphere. On the other hand, too many people on weekends, the staff do not enforce the silence zones and this disturbs the relaxation and relaxation side. A slightly too pool party atmosphere for my taste.

It is basically the BEST experience one can have in Canada's extremely cold winter. It is romantic, and relaxing. It is also well organized. If you go, make sure you go as soon as they open because it gets very crowded in the afternoon. The swedish massage experience is great to the point where I fell asleep right away on the massage bed.

Amazing experience.. Went for the first time the other day (winter time).. From 1 to 11 p.m. nothing but pure relaxation.. Just even for the regular fee of baths (cold & hot pools).. Very worth it.. Many pools and saunas to try out. They have resting hammaks with heated vents above, cabins with smooth soothing music, lovely.

I heard the food was 'Grrr-ate', but you'll have to experience that for yourself.

Food and alcohol offerings could be refined but otherwise an excellent way to truly relax.

Second time here. Too many people in the place. No social distance. A lot of people not wear mask as required. Left a pair of shoes which has value of $800 dollar in the locker and called for lost and found. Being told that they normally just take as garbage if it is not valuable jewelry. So remember do not leave anything in the locker because they just take everything as garbage.

They even have a weekend package getaway! If you are in the Ottawa region it's about 15-20mins from downtown. Lots of baths and saunas to choose from. Open till midnight during the week too!
Perfect date night!

This was my fifth or sixth visit and it was by far the busiest. We waited an hour just to get in and we're told that they were at capacity (800) and have a wait list, that we were lucky to get in... well... as nice as the saunas and hot tubs were it was not the relaxing day that my husband and I were looking for. Each sauna hot tub and pool was pretty crowded and no one was respecting the silent zones. The rates have recently increased to $70 per person on a weekend which we found to be grossly overpriced. Needless to say we won't be going back any time soon.

The salt water float pool is amazing. Great setup and beautiful location. You'll fall in love with it.

WHY ARE PEOPLE COMPLAINING YOU CAN'T BE SOCIAL AND TAKE PICS? It's a spa for god sakes! This is such a serene place and exactly a place to go to get away from it all. For all you starved-for-attention INSTAGRAM girls, go be social and selfie-it-up elsewhere!

Had a wonderful time this week at Nordik! They are taking appropriate measures to ensure the entire spa is sanitary and not too many people are there. The staff are cleaning all the time! Lots of hand sanitizers, and they set props on some of the hangers to hang towels, which ensures better social distancing. I definitely think it is safe to go!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. It's our favorite place to go as a couple. The hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms are great, the atmosphere is beautiful and calming. I can't say enough good things about Nordik. Book a massage and stay for the day, you won't regret it.

Beautiful place. Horrible service. For the amount you pay, you would assume the service they provide here is world-class, but unfortunately it s nothing like that. Locker rooms are filthy, facilities have broken or missing pieces (broken showers, missing tiles, etc). And worse of all, the customer service is rude and completely disregard what you bring to their attention. I would come back, but would want a better service-based experience.

Worst experience.. My therapist was so talkative.. Her phone was ringing all the time.. Very disturbing massage experience.. When she gave me the reciept it had different amount on it than the amount I actually paid.. I had trouble while claiming the amount because of all this mess. A loot place as you won't be able to claim the amount of money you paid as you will have to pay some amount from your own pocket.. Better try some less fancy place to have a good massage experience Atleast. I wish I could give negative rating.

Massages top notch (masseur Denis Marcoux and masseuse Joelle were very professional and very good at their craft). Overall service at the spa was good, friendly and quick. Spa property thorough-out was clean and the little extras they provide go a long ways. We don't care for crowds so in early and left by 1pm.

Overpriced spa with rude staff. The wait to get in on the weekends is ridiculously long (minimum 1.5 hours if you're lucky). Flip flops and robes need to be rented if you don't bring your own, which is ridiculous given that nearly every spa includes this in their entrance price, and that their entrance price is not cheap to begin with. When you do rent the robes, they won't exchange it for a dry one when it's wet even on the coldest winter days. Food portions at their restaurant are small. Staff is not helpful at all when you ask for directions and speak to visitors in an entitled and rude manner.

Loved the actual spa, the Kalla "mock-Dead Sea" was my absolute favorite part! It is well worth the extra $.

BUT me and my husband were very disappointed in the restaurant. We received our spa day as a gift and it included a lunch, but no one gave us any instructions on what was/wasn't included. All we were told was to bring our receipt with us to lunch, but weren't told we needed to present anything in advance, or told that it limited us to a small selection of options. The clerk even said she could put the value of the gift on our wristbands to use as payment, so this led us to believe there was a dollar amount associated with it, not a select menu. We had lunch and assumed we would only need to pay for alcohol, but when we presented out receipt (before the bill came when you would normally give a gift certificate at any other restaurant) we were told nothing would be covered because there was a special menu we were entitled to. So our "gift" ended up costing us a hefty dollar.

We complained before leaving at the front desk, and the girl basically told us "I'm sorry. For next time present your receipt at the beginning." That was it! Nothing to try to make it better and retain our business. Furthermore we were told that with our gift we were only entitled to a couple of options that weren't on the menu - if they aren't on the menu how are we supposed to know they are what we should be ordering!?

This gift was given to us to celebrate our first mothers/fathers day... very disappointed with the level of customer service. Will definitely need to think hard before returning.

Great Spa other than the fact that the music can be off-putting

Lived it here. It's a perfect place to relax and energize. Staff was great, good was good and pools, spas were great. Especially the ritual performed hourly.

Incredible experience! There are so many different pools and saunas, all with with different decor/music/lighting. I am definitely going back.

The spa was alright. When I went, it was extremely crowded and there was an hour long wait in line to register, which was frustrating as it extended outside.

If you go, expect to spend a lot of time waiting in lines. It wasn't very relaxing and I probably wouldn't go back.

Amazing spot to unwind. Tons to do. 4 hours isn't enough. Largest and most impressive spa you will find.

Relaxing, quiet place. I'd suggest going early to avoid the crowds as it usually picks up after 12pm. Evenings are also another great time to go

Nordik Spa is the Mazing place for Sauna . Environment is very peaceful and rejuvenating. Sraffs are so friendly. (Excuse my English)

Trying not to be harsh here-but for a luxury experience, this place does not offer luxury service. The best part was the hour massage I got, but for you to enjoy anything in this spa, you have to put in money. I personally want to show up to a spa had paid my package, then enjoy things freely. In this case, you show up, you realize they don t offer robes (you gotta pay for it), lockers ($$), slippers or any of the basic necessities you need for a spa, they don t even have drinking water available around. Water therapies are extra which is fine, but at the end of the day, this place is SO over-hyped. I ve been to numerous spas who charge half the cost and give you 10x better experience. My two cents, save your money and go elsewhere.

I was horrified when I find my brand new swimsuit was destroyed after a few hours in the Nordik spa. This was second time this happened to us. My friend s skin was hardly irritated too. Not sure what they are adding to the water.

If you are ever in the Ottawa-Gatineau area in the winter time this place is magical! You can see the city from the top jacuzzi. I love the hot and cold spa idea and it feels like you are in a different world of crazy people walking in their bathing suit in the middle of winter. One of my favorite places to go to in the winter time.

We had a wonderful time but shorter then planned. We left earlier then plan due to everytime we wanted to access some places, it was full. Exemples: outdoor chairs, cabins with fireplace had no seats available or maybe one: beds for resting. And tried 3 to 4 times to access them. Next time I would go when it is warmer and a week day that is not a holiday.

There are plenty of areas to pamper yourself here. The sauna ceremony is also nice.

The only bad part of this spa i found is the cleanliness factor, I had people switching my house coat with filthy wet used house coats that they also rented from the establishment, maybe consider putting lockers instead of just coat hangers..

Such a fun place to stay!! We have rented a cabin twice now, and both times we had a blast. No complaints.

Very relaxing and well maintained Spa. Make sure to book your massage in advance since booking gets filled up quick. Bring a water bottle as saunas and hot tubs dehydrate you. Not everyone stays quiet in the quiet areas. Food is a little expensive but if you are going here you pobably dont care.

Everything was perfect, the site, the welcome, the variety of animations, and ... the calm

We went to to this spa on a Wednesday (ideal if you don't like huge crowds apparently) and we had a great time. Lots of things to do and a great atmosphere. My only complaint would be about the restaurant, it took a very long time for us to be given a menu, and even longer for our order to be taken, and even longer to actually get our food. We gave up waiting on the bill to come and actually just went up to the counter. Our waitress was also pretty rude to us (but noticeably friendlier to other tables). We timed our restaurant experience and it was about 1.75 hours, time that could have been spent in a sauna! We only ordered 3 apps, and drinks and most of the food was cold food, so not sure why it took so long.

I gave it a four star review because other than that^ it was amazing and we will be returning

Me and my girlfriend were excited to spend our 3rd anniversary with you,
We originally only wanted 2 massages and 2 body treatments. Which would have come up to 410 before taxes. The reception upsold us saying because we got a massage and body treatment that the thermal experience would only be 20$. So we decided to do that, we were 3 mins into our massage when the fire alarm went off and the massage was cancelled. We were then trying to figure out how to get a refund for a massage, many of the staff were extremely rude to us, eventually we found our way to the reception where we waited over 40 mins in line. We were then asking for a full refund because we had such an awful experience and pretty much ruined our anniversary. the manager on site agreed but then turned around and charged us full price for the thermal experience ( a service we didn t even get a chance to use and only got because it was 20$ upcharge) so we ended up paying 130$ + tax for a 3 minute massage, after 20+ mins of having the manager say it s our fault for having a bad experience

Amazing place to go relax and hang out with friends. I love the flexibility they provide through their three zones: silent, whisper and normal zones.

I used to love spending a day at le Nordik. Not anymore! We waited over an hour to enter. I can t imagine how insane it would be on a weekend! Crowds everywhere, not peaceful. Not enough chairs or places to sit. I will not be back, it is not worth the cost.

Truly a nice, chic and clean place. The Walt Disney Spa. Something for all tastes, I can't wait to return to the beautiful Gatineau region to return.

It was nice lots to do. Very relaxing. Pools were look warm normally some were hot ..found on one that was. However, it still was a great day. I go often so will be back.

Neat place. A bit expensive for what it is ($73 for a Tuesday early afternoon - 1pm). Has been under construction for years, always different parts. So this time, the tempered pool (21 Celcius) was closed. Unless you want to be inside, there are barely any shade areas.

Food is amazing at their restaurant and Tapas at the bistro are exquisite.

Very large ! Spas as far as the eye can see as well as many saunas. Bring your bathrobes or you have to rent them for $ 12 each.

Best place I've ever been too spend 10 hours here help me relax in way I can't do at home. Everybody that works there is so nice. And the food and just great

We loved our day. The sanitary measures are respected and we felt safe. There were fewer people on the site than usual which we appreciated

I come here almost yearly for a girl's weekend and love it! Most of the spa features are outdoors, so be prepared to walk around in your bathing suit...even in the winter! You can rent a bathrobe or bring your own, and if you come on the Winterlude weekend or other popular day, be sure to come early!

The water is very hot. The food there is very good, especially the tacos!

Worth going. Great experience overall. Not cheap but not crazy expensive. Beautiful grounds. Music quite annoying, I'd rather be without any music than what was playing, very annoying. Lunch menu pricing somewhat reasonable.

I purchased a pass for my daughter and her fiend for Christmas. The customer service at arrival was rude - they were told they should have registered prior to coming for the spa/ baths ( no massages )
The male attendant at the desk rudely told them they should stand in line to make sure they are served - they were standing where the sign said please wait here

A lot of money to spend and to be treated with such disrespect

This place was not long ago an amazing experience. Now it takes a long time to get in and it's so busy I find it difficult to relax, even though I always go during the week rather than weekends.

One must do the hot Sauna-cold pool to fully experience it.

In the three times we've been there, we've had to wait in different areas every single time. The staff only allow customers to trickle in when the place is empty, which means they create their own wait times (it took us to hours to get into the spa first thing in the morning).

Once inside however, you are free to go nearly everywhere on the site and feel disconnected from the rest of society. You can't hear highway traffic nor the sound of what's happening outside. Truly relaxing.

The food is good (wouldn't say excellent) and have various options for vegan, vegetarian and gluten free diets. However, it is pretty expensive and I found the portion size a little small.

A must go. 5 star across the board. Worth every penny.

Great I loved the kalla floating salt pool. A unique experience to live

Very beautiful place in nature it's wonderful! The prices and the quality of the food at the restaurant are excellent. A bit of trouble to register my girlfriend and me but we ended up having it despite the computer bogs. Negative points: the masso of my girlfriend kindly told him that he did not touch the feet which is very strange ....
We went in the evening after 6 p.m. knowing all too well that the day was too crowded. We loved the Kalla, I recommend it! We enjoyed our day despite the small problems :)

Wonderful experience! Swedish massage was great and they made sure you were very relaxed. Outdoor pool is steaming and reinvigorating.

Bathrobes are for rent and towels are provided. Ensure you bring everything else for your comfort (i.e. water, your own bathrobe if you wish, sandals)

They're always reinvesting in the facility and building new features. The staff is friendly and the facility is world class. The food is great.

Wow what an extraordinary place which is worth the price in addition always innovating and making improvements. I come from far away Montreal but I still come to this spa because it is unique and the experience is worth the trip. Absolutely everything is perfect thank you for this experience.

Much needed relaxation day with my wife. Go early to beat lines and take advantage of the steam room hospice.
