Beautiful rooms and great location! But there were multiple inconveniences that should not have been the case with such a nice and costly hotel. None of the ice machines were working on multiple floors, room service did a subpar job, and we had to re-activate our room cards every single day we were there.

The service was excellent, it shows that they are making arrangements. It is located in a good place near the main street to take the tram, it has good restaurants around. The 4th floor pool has a nice view and although it is small, the place is very cozy. the room is a little small, but with enough space to rest, the beds are very comfortable and clean the bathroom is good size faith and the water stream is adjustable (I liked that)
The hotel is beautiful, rooms seem clean and comfortable but bathroom is a little small. I had an issue with the phone in my room and they came and took care of it immediately and we're very nice. I did have someone knock at the door twice when I had the do not disturb sign up.
The hotel is in a good location. Many restaurants were walking distance. Harrah's casino is next door. Friendly staff. Rooms were a decent size. Beds were just okay. Rooms included mini fridge. We were given the wrong type of room. The safe didn't work. Had the hot water go cold two times. Two of the four elevators were out. Has a business center.
We had an amazing stay, from beginning to end, breakfast was awesome. The staff was wonderful and very friendly, for our first time visiting New Orleans it was great. The hotel location is walking distance for everything. We had adjoining rooms, very neat and clean.
Rooms very small, dont even touch mini bar very sensitive will charge room, and Do Not park here charges 55 a night. If u are a diamond member of harrahs park there 4 free.
A 2-minute walk from Harrah's New Orleans casino and 0.6 miles from the Contemporary Arts Center, this refined hotel is also 1.2 miles from the French Quarter.
The sophisticated modern rooms feature pillow-top mattresses and desks, plus 55-inch flat-screen TVs, WiFi (fee) and minifridges. Suites add separate living rooms; upgraded suites offer panoramic river/skyline vistas.
Amenities include a rooftop pool with private cabanas (including TVs) and a fitness center, plus a contemporary-chic bar/restaurant and a hip lobby coffee shop/cocktail bar. There's also a business center and over 20,000 sq ft of meeting space.
Rooms are small and clustered together that increase the noise. Cleaning staff carts are in the hallways all day but the rooms are barely surface clean. Good location but there are other hotels nearby as well.
Central although uninspiring location. Clean and comfortable though with service which seems more 3 than 4 star. Rooms are reasonably sized, but pool area is rather small. I like the decor.
I attended and helped plan a corporate event at Least Meridien and have nothing but wonderful things to say. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. House keeping was fantastic. Decor was modern and tasteful. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone staying in New Orleans.
Le Meridien was a fantastic hotel. The man who checked us in was beyond friendly even though there was an extremely rude guest yelling at him during our check-in. The concierge was super helpful and nice as well. The room was very nice and pretty roomy actually. Overall I would recommend you check out Le Meridien as it will surely meet you expectations.
We love this hotel, and stay here whenever we are in New Orleans, the staff are second to none and even escorted my wife to a store late at night when we needed some medicine, the rooms are always clean, location is perfect!
First is the front desk. Because of the other reasons below, I was visiting them frequently and every time, there was a very long wait. It doesn't matter what hour of the day it is, they only have two people working, an excruciatingly slow system, and a solid 20 min wait
Second was my door. After coming back from the office, the lock was jammed. I have never been locked out of my own room and belongings at a hotel before. No one who works at the hotel "had ever seen anything like this before". I requested that security come to look at it and I ended up waiting a HOUR before I could get back to my belongings. I was told I would get new keys after the door was finally fixed. I never did and had to make yet another trip to the front desk. When the next two keys the front desk gave me didn't work, I finally got a 3rd key that did.
Third was housekeeping. I ASKED 3 TIMES TO HAVE MY ROOM CLEANED. I can't remember the last time, if any, I had to ask for housekeeping. Each time I asked, I was told simply that they "would be on their way". When I asked for an ETA or explained how this was the nth time I was requesting, the front desk or call center just repeated themselves in a condescending manner. I finally lost patience and asked to speak with a manager. My room was finally cleaned after 6pm.
You can expect reasonable front desk service, a functional locking door, and regular housekeeping at even the most basic hotels. Don't expect any at Le Meridien.
Better options in this area I recommend instead: Sheraton, Loews, Hilton, or Marriott.
Order room service and writing too small for a smurf to read and the lady couldn t even find the part where it s 15 dollars to get room service??? 18%gratuity added to check so don t tip!!!!!!!!!!! Two burgers, chicken tenders and 3hot Pepsi s $81.00??? Still doesn t add up. they rob you from the moment you walk in til you leave. Our food and delivery was 50 so where does 81 come from? Woman was rude and wouldn t explain anything because she couldn t read the writing, too small! They will trick you! DO NOT STAY HERE! valet was the only friendly staff.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. The rooms and the hotel overall is nice.
The food offered is a bit pricey and you don t get much for your buck.
I m a bit disappointed because I m realizing that they do not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. This is the first hotel that doesn t have these items in the room. We placed food in the fridge only to learn that it s not a refrigerator it s a cooler. However, there s a mini bar that s keeping the hotel supplied beverages cooler than the beverages we placed in the COOLER.
Also, when we turn the air down, the rooms smells like wet funky socks. So we called the front desk and I m assuming that someone came in the room and sprayed while we were gone.
I travel for work and always stay in Marriott hotels. I booked this hotel with points and regret using them for this stay. The customer service here is not what I expect at all. They are not friendly or welcoming. Waited an hour and 10 minutes for a bowl of cereal to be brought by room service eventually I just walked down to the front desk to pick it up myself. We will be back in New Orleans in 3 weeks and will not even consider staying here.
Nice staff, cute rooms, good location. Restaurant is overpriced. Rooms are not soundproofed, so you can hear everything going on next door and in the hallway, in a city where people come to blow off steam.
Total disappointment! We payed over $120 a night and $60 a night parking. The bed didn t have a fitted they used a flat sheet instead and didn t provide a top sheet just a comforter. The WiFi is expensive so is the breakfast. The bathroom smelled awful every morning. The house keeping went through luggage, my perfume went missing. Getting your vehicle out is a nightmare. Good luck swimming the pool is always packed.
Love it!! Great room we stayed in and very comfy beds! That is a must for a comfy bed. Great areas to sit and chat in the lobby area. Nice bar. Easy access to everything near by. We walked everywhere! Check it out if you are in the area.
The interior design is great, but each of the rooms is connected to room next door, so if you end up beside a rowdy group, you'll need a good pair of earplugs because you will hear everything. Housekeeping left much to be desired as well.
Loved it! The rooms were beautiful, the location was great, walking distance to Bourbon St, and the French Quarters, the staff was exceptional! I will definitely book again on my next visit to New Orleans
Well, overall the employees are great! But house keeping needs a refresher course. After discovering the room hadn't been cleaned for several days prior to our arrival. Yeah. Take away food and notes for other guests before you let others stay in same room.
Rooms are great, very spacious, good location, and staff is friendly. However, the wifi was not working at all when I stayed here for a week. Also, the gym is mediocre with very limited machines.
Convenient hotel right next to Harrah's. Contemporary furnished rooms and lobby. No issues with the room and there are some nice perks such as free passes to some New Orleans museums.
It can get pretty pricey. Parking at the hotel lot is expensive at $45 / day but there is a parking lot across the street near the Mother's restaurant that is cheaper.
