I've been going here since I was months old in 1989 and it still is a great experience in 2019

Are you looking for a cake? This local supermarket in Pasadena makes awesome cakes. Whether you like buttercream or whipped topping you will enjoy both. You can order a cake with yellow, chocolate or marble cake, you will like.

Lauers is a very nice supermarket. It's clean and all the staff is friendly.

All supermarkets are selling superficial super fake foods guaranteed 90% of food should not be safe for human consumption most of US a food is banned in other countries that great awakening awoken we are cellular so we need cellular foods grocery stores need a electric food selection

Ok selection not great. Fast check out lines. A little outdated with no self checkout. Great Deli.

Best Bakery & Best meat prices in the area. It's great to have this quality independant in our neighborhood

If you ask them to get something for you they will. I love the store layout and competitive prices. This is my go to store all the time.

I saw the sign for the new Espresso shop and went in to get an espresso for myself and a cappuccino for my wife. I read the menu, saw the drip first but also the espresso drinks on the menu. An employee came by and asked if I wanted coffee. When I said yes, she said she would get the person who makes coffee. Eventually, a woman came with her shoulders slumped and arms hanging at her sides. Without looking at me, she asked what I wanted, then turned to look at me when I said, "A cappuccino and a double espresso." She rolled her eyes and slowly started to walk away without saying anything. I said, "You know what, I'm just gonna skip it, thanks," and I left. I went to the Dunkin Donuts on the other side of the plaza after that for my coffee. This was on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. (written by Janet Yaceczko as dictated by husband).

Very Nice grocery store. Limited selection in some areas, but enough that you could do a full grocery shopping trip. Bakery is great, especially the blueberry cake donuts!

Best bakery in the area, but some of the staff that work in the bakery can be very rude and have poor customer service skills. Cashiers are always friendly.

Small local grocery store with a couple locations. Selection is limited, but the bakery and customer service is excellent.

Freshest meat & produce. Awesome bakery with huge selection and the salad bar & hot foods are the best in Pasadena. Love the place you can even pick up cards gifts and flowers. They always have a full staff working so no longer lines.

I don't get a weekly circular, my question...why does it take so long to post a new weekly circular..as of today 11/19 @ 9:31 am it is not posted for view on the internet...It would be nice if the circular was posted on the last day or EARLY morning for the new weekly specials.

Bakery was awesome as usual. Fried chicken was very disappointing. Dried up and small pieces. Cashier was less than enthusiastic. Not a great visit today.

Lauers is a very good locally owned grocery store, but their bakery is over-the-top good! I bring their doughnuts to work periodically and people rave about them. From cakes to pumpkin bars their baked goods are all "old-school delicious". Also you can get Ostrowski's sausage in the meat department.

Lauer's has two stores within close proximity to my home and I shop at both of them. They have really good looking fruits and vegetables, lots of cheese choices, super looking seafood and meats, great variety and the yogurt area, and an unbelievable Bakery. If you've never had their smearcase it's a must-try. The one thing that they don't have is gluten free items in the bakery or even in the freezer section. However one could easily find alternatives to eat.

I love everything about layer a except for the prices...but as far as the deli selection goes great for a quick lunch absolutely love the sushi and the turkey clubs they sell pre made and they have an awesome produce selection

Clean, but expensive, especially compared to a few years ago when they were they were the cheapest place to go. Disappointing.

I love Lauer s. They have great prices and it s such a convenient location. The bakery is AMAZING. My one complaint is that their selection of produce and different brands of items can be slim at times. But if you re not picky about brands, Lauer s is the best place to go.

I ordered my sons birthday cake two days in advance. The cake was decided based on the theme of his party. I watched the lady write down each detail on the order form and it was done correctly. When I picked up the cake it was the complete wrong theme. And I was picking this cake up on the way to the party. The manager apologized and tried to fix it the best she could last minute. They didn t even have the correct cake decorations to fix it with as shown in the book that you order from. So they had to print off an image to go with the theme I had originally ordered. Then their printer wasn t working for the image and the computer had to be rebooted. The whole experience was such a mess. I don t understand how the cake was made wrong when the order form was right! They didn t charge me for the cake and I do appreciate the effort to fix the mistake. However me and my son were late to his own party that I paid so much money for because I had to wait an extra 25 mins for the attempt of fixing the cake. There s really no excuse for it.

Would've been a 5-star review had there not been a gaggle of young teenage guys poppin' wheelies out front & trying to see if you really can't break an egg by crushing it in one of your fists. We live in troubling times...

Shop there every week, it has everything. Very clean, great customer service. And fresh meat.

Lauer's is a really good, convenient neighborhood grocery store. They have just about everything I ever need and are open when I need them. They are great if I need to run out for something quick that I've forgotten or for weekly shopping. Their bakery is the best around.

Today was probably the most pleasant grocery shopping experience I've ever had. Everywhere I went there was someone there to help me. Even as I was putting my groceries in my car a guy came up to take my cart back. Well done Lauer's!

Great bakery. Great produce. Always have enough checkout lanes open so you don't wait in line long. Sales are okay.

The bakery is just wonderful! Meat prices are very good and are of superb quality. They sell Rutter's milk which is the best tasting milk I've ever had. The employees seem very happy and that says a lot for this store. All around an A++!

I have been a customer here for Manny years. The employees that work here forthe most part are very pleasant access helpful. There are a few that seem to have an attitude problem that don't know how to talk/treat people. I loved the bakery but as the times have changed, it seems as though this bakery is stuck in the past. There is no vierity, it is always the same old thing...globs of rainbow colored icing. Then You have one person that Cant spell. A friend of mine bought a cake there and the name was spelled wrong. After several attempts to correct it. She finally gave up with having no name on it.
Come on Lauers.. Change it up...it's 2019. How about some new stuff. P

They're very pricey when it comes to perishables I can find way better deals else where. 3 stars

Have gone to get coke multiple times because it's right next to little Caesars and most of the times the coke hasn't been fresh. Last time it was flat and on my most recent visit it just tastes awful.
Store has always been clean and cashiers friendly though. Maybe my experiences were outliers.

The bakery, meat, and produce dept are fabulous. The deli is disappointing. Cream of crab soup is hideous. Frozen foods are too pricey compared to other local grocers. Nice floral dept

Best bakery! I love their produce and homemade take home meals near deli. They have Eggplant Parmesan, chicken alfredo, shepherd's pie etc... convenient for last minute meal for two

Always a great experience shopping there. Prices are a bit higher than average but the customer care is impeccable
