Frankly I am disgusted, I went to the open day because the degree in cosmetology interested me a lot and I had heard good things from school, so I signed up. I took the trouble to fill out the entire application file and double it by mail so that I could be put on the second entrance test session in April when I applied for the first session in March. In short, I waited for the answer which never arrived. So I sent an email and was told that I was not selected. So I asked that she was the reason because I have very good academic results especially in scientific subjects and I was never answered. I am really very disappointed because I could not even introduce myself and defend my motivations that I am already denied!

I have never seen such disorganization and lack of professionalism from a school in my life. This school is overhyped and the quality has a lot of room for improvement. It's very frustrating to be a student here as you feel that staff doesn't make the effort and don't seem to care much about students or any comments made for improvement. I'm not sure why it has such a good reputation from the outsider's point of view but from the inside, I can tell you one thing for sure... it's a mess!
I am very disappointed with this school, yet I really wanted to get into this school and into this formation. I apply for the BTS MCO where I send my application by mail, then I had the secretary on the phone who told me that the test is written on cosmetics, perfume and sale but none of that was more than common knowledge. There is a motivational interview and that's where I saw the true faces of the people at this school. These people allow me to make racist remarks about my hair (I have short curly hair), talk and look awfully bad, take pleasure in getting people down. I was refused my file because it is MANDATORY for this training a CAP ESTHETIC except that nowhere it was written this information of the highest importance NULLE PART EVEN NOT ON THE SITE, EVEN WHEN JAI SEND MY FILE: I DO NOT CAP THEY COULD HAVE REFUSED AND EVEN WHEN I HAD THE SECRETARY IT HAS NOT PREVENTED ME. I do not understand it's supposed to be MANDATORY, it's not a detail that is forgotten So I lost my money since I took a day off at my job and my time since I have more than 2h drive to have this kind of welcome. I still decide to have an explanation for this lack of information that is so necessary. Why not say that it is necessarily to have course for this training? In those cases, I would never have lost my time if I knew this information. And then the !!! So I call the school explaining my incomprehension, the secretary does not understand also my refusal because those in the training have no course, it passes me so a person in charge of this training is explained to me that he do not avoid this detail to see "the motivation of the candidates" so you forget to share the kind of detail JUST TO SEE PEOPLE. You have this time to lose !? Personally not In short, their excuse is not valid. In addition to having this kind of conversations that have neither tail nor head I receive an email without a trace of politeness and professional. I just think they make their selection in the head and I find that inadmissible. So if unfortunately you are like me very passionate about cosmetics, nails and you are self taught and you just come to a school to professionalize it is not the place. But if in addition to that you have the misfortune to have very short hair and very curly is school is not for you FUYEZ ON WILL OBLIGE TO SMOKE!

I feel very lucky to have been able to be part of ISIPCA students for a year in cosmetics and perfumery. We had the chance to work with teachers who have an amazing professional background, as well as great raw materials, as much in perfumery and in cosmetics !
SURFACE REPUTATION because if this school was previously synonymous with excellence, today the major selection criterion is profitability. The school has ruined itself for its premises, so the school's sole purpose is to bring in money, and to preserve its reputation, the interest of the pupils is clearly not the driving force. The UVSQ must manage as much as possible the limits of the school, and if some teachers are very competent and attentive (some are simply lecturers, they only pass a PDF on the board), this is not is not AT ALL the case with the administration. And if the level of the students is too low, well no problem: we take the exam again and we overmark to reach the end of the race with a success rate of 100%. The level of some formations has become abysmal and things are not getting better.
I still add a star because some teachers are really on top, with them we would like the course to last longer.
Student in BTS MUC (now MCO), I can assure you that the lack of consideration is at the meeting. Indeed, poorly relayed information such as the absence of teachers. An administration more than slow and incompetent to which it is necessary to explain things many times so that it understands them, without forgetting the nonchalance of some who have neither the time to give a look or to stop their way during a conversation. In addition, do not delude yourself about the school's partnerships with companies. These are only pretty showcases accessible only from the Master, Dior, Guerlain and other prestigious brands will never be offered to you. However, some of their contacts with reduced but luxurious visibility are, but watch out for them since the school literally spits in their backs. The brands most often offered will be mainly brands looking for estheticians such as mademoiselle bio or Yves Rocher. As for the perfumery and cosmetic part, you will still be disappointed. A few theoretical courses in perfumery in the first year (with a remarkable and interesting teacher, it is important to emphasize this) and just a practical course in cosmetics in 2 years. The only good thing is the experienced and educated teaching staff. The negative point comes from the hiring of this one indeed a professor fired in the middle of last year and another professor recruited more than 3 months after the start of the school year, we can not qualify that as effective. In short, this school is to be avoided regarding commercial training, do not waste your time because the school offers no support and above all respects only a few promises.
PS: Don't be surprised not to see our section with open doors since these are not even offered to us.
The team is great, the teaching too. The impetus given by the director is a major asset for this school which is as much a recognized institution as a place of high quality learning
The training really interests me, it is a pity that the staff is so racist, I am of Algerian origin and when the lady knew it, she hung me up, and when I tried to call back she hung me up every time, so I'm disappointed by this rude behavior, Good luck anyway
The teachers are mostly good, some are great. The administration however is the worst possible. Most of them are rude, lazy, unwilling to help, they do not respect students and they constantly make their life harder. The school is highly disorganized. There were changes on the schedule almost every week, even if we beged for this to stop. Many of us lost a ton of money in plane and train tickets because the school decided to change the schedule last minute. In general, I woul say that they just want your money and once they get it they do not care about you at all. Most importantly they advertise their connections and their status but once we had to find internships the school never helped anyone, we had to do it all on our own. Many of us did not manage to find anyhting for many many months. Some still have not found an intership. But the school does not care.
Would not recommend in any case. Stay away, spend your money otherwise.
Very good school with involved and passionate teachers who pull their students up. The premises are comfortable and the administration is always looking to improve the comfort of its students, especially for the lunch break. I recommend this school whose training is of superior quality.
