Location is so great, making for an unbelievable ambience - and service was a match for that. Only reason for taking a star off was we could not sit by the creek - and though we were outside it was not as good.

Property is beautiful . Having lunch and dinner next to the brook is why you go there . The service is wonderful . The food was not as get as the critics say . The meat recipes were all good . The fish was not edible . The salmon at lunch was dry . Then the Market fish special was dry at dinner as well . The one scallop on the plate simple tasted bad . I was unimpressed . Did not eat it left it . The soup came onion soup arrived to the table cold . Then they brought my boyfriend out the wrong meal . The place was beautiful . The spa on the other hand my facial was wonderful . Ask for Kate . The pool area was outdated . Fence around it just ugly . Nothing special . Prices per night should be lowered pay the lower rate price of $500 a night . If j had paid $1400 I would have really been unhappy .
Ive come for the brunch 3 years in a row. 2 years ago was very good, last year was OK but not as good, and after today I wont be coming back. The proteins were overcooked and dry, the buffet poorly stocked, service just OK, the variety much less and the dishes I tried were OK at best. The only thing this place has to brag about is a lovely location on Oak creek. Definitely no longer worth the steep price of $65.
This place was the highlight of our experience in Sedona for our Honeymoon trip. If you have the means set aside the time and budget to splurge on this experience. A wait staff that will go to any length to make your experience flawless. Food that is a portrait on a plate, and flavor that you will never experience again. All alongside the oak creek canyon stream bubbling in front of your eyes. Don't miss this hidden gem!
Simply the best resort ever!. We got to celebrate our anniversary there and their service was really great. When you are at Lauberge you dont want to leave that place and go somewhere else for sightseeing. Their view from the terrace is awesome. We will definitely come back again.
The menu found online is not accurate and their new menu feels too complicated and not really cohesive.
The service was amazing the scenery is hard to beat, but 75% of a restaurant experience is the food(in my opinion).
The food wasn't cooked incorrectly, nor was it messy, but it just simply didn't taste good. The flavours seemed off a bit and with that said so were the prices.
I would recommend Mariposa considering it's 10 minutes from here and will blow this place out of the water in comparison.
We decided to come up hiking and wanted to stay close on the water. This place has it all!! Although everything was mostly closed due to pandemic procedures the staff went above and beyond to make it feel like we were in an old world of no stress and anxieties. Sarah, Frank, Adam and Isaac, just to name a few. Seriously thank you for an amazing escape in such a stressful time in all our lives!!
This inn wad like no other I've ever stayed at! To start, we arrived and the valet took care of the car while the bell hops got our luggage in a cart. Next, we checked in and they gave us a complimentary upgrade out of no where! Score! We went from staying in a Spa Cottage to a Spa Suite. With the suite came an amazing deck, a fireplace, a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom boasted another entry to the deck and a king sized bed. Before you got into the bathroom there was a vanity and closet with drawers, hangers, umbrella, iron and ironing board. In the bathroom we had so a double vanity, jetted tub, cedar outdoor shower and of course our indoor shower and separate toilet room. The property was beautiful! You definitely feel like you are in a cottage in the woods with a jaw dropping creek. They provided many seating areas near the creek for guests to enjoy the sights and sounds! We ate at Etch which was open seating so we didn't have to wait. Woke we were slightly disappointed that the menu changed the day before (we were looking forward to wagyu and filet) the food was still delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone! There is also a huge plus for hikers: near the bell hop station is a machine to get fresh, filtered water at no extra cost to us. Best water I have ever tasted! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The best part - tip for the valet and bell hops are all included in the nights stay price! We loved staying at the L'Auberge de Sedona and would do it again in a heartbeat!
Such a beautiful property. Had drinks and food at the bar, on the patio side. Creek going right but the patio, ducks playing in the river, lil drop down which caused the water to cascade down steam. Food was great as well. Also, this Sunday's visit, the bar was showing all the football games. So football, food, drink, babbling steam, and beautiful setting made this magical. Valet was complimentary as well.
My sister and I didn't stay overnight. We used the spa service. We each had a body scrub - the Sedona Dream. The actual scrub exfoliating techmique could have been better. Not very thourough. Hot stones was nice.. my sister thought the same
I was the wedding planner for a wedding here this past Thursday and I can't say enough fabulous things about L'Auberge and its staff and service! Kathryn, Mark and Joseph were amazing! Events By Sloane is a huge fan of this magical resort!
A wonderful resort! It definitely makes you feel like you left the chaos and rush of the big city behind. The nature and stunning mountains all around give you a serene state of mind! The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A great resort to spend a week with the family or a delightful romantic getaway!
I'm staying in the lodge and it is so overpriced for the outdated room. Cars are driving by under my balcony as well as golf carts. The linen's are cheep, not soft, the bed is uncomfortable. Someone is rolling a trash can by right now. The people that work here are very nice. The pool is nothing special. The creek is very pretty.
Great ambience, great wait staff. We had Michael. Very cool to hear the creek beside the tables and the lights at night made the experience enjoyable without attracting bugs. Bats on the water took care of a lot of those (so cool!) Food was great and menu was easy to navigate. Portion sizes were a bit in the small side but perfect for me.
What an outstanding property, staff was friendly and professional. Facilities were clean and well updated. Food was excellent. Highly recommend visiting and look forward to a return visit soon. Property along the creek was beautiful
If Sedona isn't lovely enough, a stay at L'Auberge makes it that much better. They have 5 star service and 5 star food. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and they are pet friendly too ! :)
Beautiful place. However don't go around 9:30am on Sunday for breakfast, they are getting ready for brunch in the kitchen and our eggs and omelet took 45 min to get ready and arrived cold. We did complain and they were nice enough to take care of our check. However lost time and we were so disappointed... not the experience we were expecting in a place like that
Trying to get a reservation for the restaurant proved to be a myriad of problems. No indication that there was a separate reservation for the bar and dining room, even after calling to confirm a seat at the main area. When we arrived, a party was moved to the dining room before we spoke to the host, but we were told there was nothing to be done. Making a journey to this restaurant was a mistake. Go elsewhere and get solid service with a hearty meal instead
Absolutely amazing property and hotel. The service is outstanding and top notch! Wonderful experience and looking forward to staying again. Recommend staying in a Vista Suite or Cottage for red rock views! Etch Kitchen and Bar is also a great spot for lunch or dinner.. sit by the fire pits for a laid back feel.
We love this place. The motif fits nicely into the natural themes of Sedona, plenty of shade against the hot summer sun, room was great, charming, spacious; food is solid, staff are friendly, we didn't find it ridiculously expensive (Junior suite for about 700/night all in). Highly recommend the cottages up high with the views, can't recall what they call them. More expensive but the views are just stupendous. Lovely little creek flowing along the outdoor dining area. Where they could improve? Small pool that could be updated, some of the grounds keepers drive like bats out of hell and I had to literally yell at one for almost running my wife over, things like that. But to me this is the best place to stay in Sedona, hands down. Major suggestion!!! Don't close off kitchens at 8 pm on a Saturday....
Don't go to brunch after 1. The food has been sitting out most of the morning and they don't replace it. Not a very good value for the money spent. The best thing they have going is the atmosphere of the creek.
The hotel was a very nice place, but you would expect more from a 5 star hotel. The check in is already late at 4 and when I showed up the room wasn t ready. I had to wait another hour for the room to be cleaned... was clean and nice, but you d just expect more from a place like this.
Just came here today and paid over $500 per night for a room for total of three nights.. Room is next to hotel entryway and is very noisy due to all incoming car to hotel entrance.. patio is right across centralized HVAC for restaurant at this resort.. very loud.. patio has very loud noise of fans running.. No Tranquility what so ever! I would never recommend anyone for this joint! Total rip-off! A Motel 6 experience.
My wife and I dined at Etch for breakfast. The ambiance was fantastic. The views felt like northern MN but in the middle of Sedona. Breakfast was tasty!
Pretty area, but the meal was insanely overpriced. $8 for a coffee, 16 for a 4oz cocktail. The chef was mediocre at best. Not recommended. Just sit by the water at tlaqapaque with a sack lunch you'll have a more worthwhile experience. $300 for 2 people should never have been a thing at this location. Plus $10 parking they don't tell you about. I figure it'd i spend that much yoi could at least let me park for free.
The staff and services were all very pleasant. The facility is clean. The sheets used on the massage bed are extremely soft. The oil the therapist used was thick like honey but not sticky, it felt very luxurious. The women's steam room worked great and the products, towels and robes are all very nice quality. Down sides...the spa could use a makeover. The furniture and cushions in the waiting room are very worn. The waiting area is small and unimpressive, the spa as a whole is quite small. My husband had a difficult time using the men's steam room. Overall I rate this Spa a 4 out of 5 and I would recommend it to my my family and friends.
Disappointed. This property was among my favorite until our last visit. Front desk staff was rude on several occasions. Hotel staff left notes (manifest) about guests with guest full info laying around. Which was incorrect anyway. They don't treat every guest like it's a special occasion. Overpriced, over rated, and disappointed.
This was beat place to have brunch. The views were stunning. They offer three locations for eating; inside, higher balcony and creekside(ish). The buffet was $65 and additional $20 for unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. We didn't do additional $20, but the buffet is worth the price. A large range of options that includes some seafood options. The staff was very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Definitely coming again.
What a beautiful restaurant, eating off the river side is simply unforgettable. You must sit outside to take in the full wonder of this restaurant. Everything on the menu is exquisite and service is top notch.
Beautiful scenery abounds - Sedona is so nice so that makes up for a few negatives. Arrived to chaos - everything seemed disorganized. Got our room and it smelled of a cheap air freshener. Cottage style room was cool and had a great view. Ate dinner and it was pretty good- great almost over the top service by our waiter. Breakfast was horrible - got our order wrong and it seemed reheated. Here's a tip - grab and go your breakfast from the bar and take it down to the chairs along the river - a beautiful spot all the way along the creek. Asked the front desk about hike recommendations- she just kept saying "it's up to you" which didn't help since that's why we were asking her!?!?! She also said she hated hiking so she wasnt the right person to ask about hiking in Sedona - but offered no alternative person for us to speak to or give us any suggestions.. we had late check out arranged but left right after breakfast- went to whole foods for snacks and the staff there were lovely and offered some suggestions for a great hike!
The room was beautiful and the setting is more beautiful. I was there for a work retreat so I didn't get to use spa. Location was great as you could walk to lots of places. I would definitely come back.
We have been coming here for decades, through several iterations, and might still stay here in the Summer.
Great food, informed timely service, fab wine list but huge markup, they should lower the wine price and sell more bottles, make the same overall profit $ and have MUCH happier patrons. Even though you have the money for an expensive dinner doesn't mean we like these kinds of markups on wine just because you have a lock on the market.
I wouldn't trust this place EVER! My friends had $6,000 worth of electronics and cash stolen from their room by housekeeping, and the management has done NOTHING to help.
They won't release the key log for the room, they won't do any sort of investigation, it's a complete joke, but unfortunately more of a nightmare.
We didn t stay at the resort, but went to the spa. The spa was nice: however the massage wasn t great. It definitely wasn t worth the price. I prefer my $30 massage from the mall to be honest
Lock out of room Turn down service offered after in bed Stand on a line for breakfast Room not serviced until late afternoon Room overlooking wedding party Fitness room locked Asked front desk for shaver-arrived in 1.5 hrs Property in a little disrepair Nice location, though
So my family LOVES L'Auberge. Our history with this place is quite extensive. It's gorgeous and incredible and a wonderful experience. I'm not really one to "spend money", but when I do, this place is worth it. We just had dinner there and something as simple as the "chop salad" legit blew my mind. It was so incredible, that simple little side will absolutely haunt my dreams in a very real way. I'll be calling tomorrow, to talk to whatever witch doctor concocted that potion to find out what all they put in it. There was these little crumbs, bread/cheese??? I have no idea!! These little green cubes??? Whatever they were they were delicious!! Long story short, it was incredible and I'm beyond happy with what we just experienced. Score another point for L'AUBERGE!!
The property, accommodations and the service are always first rate. This is my favorite place to stay and unwind while immersed in Sedona's natural beauty.
This was our 2nd stay here. The location on the creek is wonderful. Close to everything in Sedona but also away from the busy buzz. The staff was great at interacting with our kids and made sure we had a great time. The junior suite in the lodge had a wonderful bathroom with a huge tub and more than enough space for 2 adults and 2 kids.
We booked four rooms at the Lodge for two nights. The service at the Hotel was very good. However the pictures online don t do tell the truth. The hotel is quite dated and so are the rooms in the lodge. We could hear the guests next door and above us. For the price we were charged per room we should be able to expect luxury accommodations but felt like we stayed in a 3 star hotel at best. When we did our research online and looked at the pictures we were excited to stay at the L Auberge but were disappointed when we arrived.
Beautiful, and as always vary attentive staff. This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here, and we felt three or four stars was appropriate, for the cost you would think a high end resort would pay attention to the details. Both times there were asthetic isuues, like a hole in the drywall or peaking laminate, etc.
