Minimal experience with the hotel rooms, but the front desk service was fantastic. The valet parking was complimentary with reservation for the hotel or dinner. We got a s mores kit on our way out after dinner. Wonderful artwork throughout. They put a daily schedule up with activities such as: feeding the ducks, yoga, s mores cooking. We would definitely come here for a fancy weekend!

What a wonderful place to stay. Employees really make the difference here from any other resort in up Town Sedona. Can't stay grab a breakfast or lunch by the creek. You will think that you are in another world..
Out the door from your beautiful accommodations and walking distance to Uptown and tlaquepaque.

We have come to L Auberge for years but apparently not since they have expanded or been bought. I made reservations weeks ahead to sit on the creek for a mother s day surprise . Upon arrival I was told they were not seating at the creek, they had left Message (I never got one) . I asked to sit on the porch at least and was told they couldn t accommodate us. We were seated in a dining room ,freezing cold, yet perfectly sunny out the whole time we ate at Etch. The hostesses were beyond unfriendly, the menu ridiculous for lunch and priced ridiculously. We will never return , so sad .

The resort was wonderful. The cottage suite was spacious with a fireplace, living room, bedroom and a large bathroom with included a hot tub that could fit two, large walk in shower, outdoor shower, double sinks, separate vanity and enclosed toilet.

The service was impeccable. You never had to wait for valet service or room service. The room was cleaned twice a day with turn down service which included slippers and robes placed on the bed. There was never a shortage of attentive and friendly staff.

The resort also offered pick up and drop off service anywhere you wanted to go in Sedona. All tipping was included in the price of the resort fee, which is on top of the price of the room.

The view was astounding from the room and the restaurant. The price of the food was high and did not meet 5 star status. That was the only negative but one does not need to eat there as again, they will take you to any of the wonderful restaurants in the area.

I would stay there again and highly recommend it if you can afford it.

What a great place to be for lunch at the creekside. The cocktails were excellent and the food delicious. Our server, Donald was professional and so polite. Sitting by Oak Creek is so relaxing. I can't wait to go back.

We got a seat outside next to the creek. Absolutely beautiful. There was a little folliage on our table from the trees, but that part of the experience! The food was amazing. The 4 course meal is very filling. The service is also top notch.

Amazing hotel, pricy but you're in for a treat. From the moment we reached the valet we were pampered. Golf carts took our luggage to our cabin, valet took our car to the lot, and escorted us to the front desk. Our cabin had a fireplace, hot tub, indoor AND outdoor shower (in case you want the briskness of outside). The floors of the bathroom were heated! We could've requested the front desk for a ride to uptown Sedona, but we didn't take advantage of this. Dinner was pleasant. We had an in-room couples deep tissue massage. Again, pricy, but if this isn't an obstacle you're in for a treat. The view out of every window was amazing. Like screensavers in real life. We would like to come back sometime in the future.

Wonderful stay. Staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a Spa Cottage, and this was the only time the room actually looked better in person than they do in the online pictures. Cottage was beautiful and room service was spot on. Will definitely be staying here again.

We absolutely loved our stay!

The staff was amazingly accommodating and made our trip very special. Krystle at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Eric at the bell staff was super friendly and gave us some great local recommendations of places to see and eat.

Highly recommend this property!

Gorgeous atmosphere. We didn't stay here but ate in the restaurant. This is maybe our third time eating here and the server was very sweet, but the food was really bad this time. It seems as though we weren't the only ones complaining since we could see the manager putting out fires at other tables. The only thing that will bring us back here was: 1) the manager handled the situation with the utmost professionalism and also picked up our tab and 2) the surroundings are breathtaking!

Amazing views, amazing amenities and amazing customer service and wait staff. All the staff appeared to love their job and were VERY accommodating and approachable. Would definitely book an event here for the future

Nothing to complain about here. From the staff to the view to the food. All are top notch. Sitting beside the Creek for lunch was very relaxing. I will say the prices include all the views so don't be surprised when the bill comes. Enjoyed the Buffalo burger. It was lean and fresh. My wife had the beet salad and loved all the flavors.

I went there last Labor Day weekend, and we had booked this trip months in advanced. It was bad at check in and continuously got worse as the weekend went on.
First let me say that the website is completely misleading. There is not one view of the Red Rocks, which is really the whole reason you are in Sedona to begin with. They have nice little river to sit by, but literally the hotel right next to them has a breath taking view. The river is nice, but, again, not the reason I went to Arizona.
My husband and I reserved a cabin. We get there and they don't have the cabin for us. Let me be clear- they had our cabin reservation but not the cabin. Why you may ask? They said called us and asked us to switch rooms (why any hotel would ever do that I'm still not sure). We didn't answer so they did it anyway. We asked what number they called. The number they listed wasn't even close to mine or my husbands phone numbers. By not even close, I mean it wasn't even the same area code. We asked to speak to the manager- no. He wasn't there, but the 'acting manager' was the woman we were talking to, Nicole I believe her name was. However, she couldn't do anything about it, even though it was their horrible mistake.
The rooms are in a small building that looks like a converted cabin, which was cute. That night was probably the worst sleep I have ever had. Our room was on the bottom floor, and we could hear EVERYTHING happening above us. We could hear them close their door at 3 am, walk around their room, get up, turn on their shower, and...much more. All 3 nights! It wasn't like they were some annoying, rowdy kids purposely being obnoxious. They were literally just walking around their room.
After the first night of no sleep we went again to talk to the front desk, and were once again met with Nicole. We told her basically what I wrote here, and she says that they are aware of the issue with the rooms, but unfortunately there isn't anything they can do about it. Ok, let's stop here and think about that. The hotel KNOWS that this noise is a problem, but won't do anything about it. Umm...maybe renovate like other hotels have done so your guest can be happy and at least sleep. Just a thought.
Ok, so after she says that she tells me and mu husband that we can go into a cabin, but would have to leave the next night. At this point we are very confused because just the other day she told us no cabins were available. So, naturally, we ask her to explain. She doesn't need to give us an explanation apparently, and asks us if we want to move for one night. Why she needed to be that rude I'm not sure. I promise on my life that we weren't yelling, or even upset at this point. We were just not understanding what was happening. After she tells us we aren't deserving of an explanation I demand to speak to the manager. If she has to call him then so be it. No. She won't. She is the acting manager and then told us she would be more than happy to end our stay and call other hotels to see if they can accommodate us. It was so unbelievably rude and inappropriate. I could see someone saying that if we were screaming or being verbally abusive. I SWEAR nothing like that happened. We were frustrated, but no ones face was red, no profanities were used. It was completely shocking which must have been evident on our faces because she calmed down and asked us what we wanted to do. Not once did we get an apology. She did say that she would have the manager contact us when he came back. This all happened in September, it is now March and we have not been contact once by anyone.
Sedona is a beautiful place and there are so many lovely hotels with lovely people working in them. Don't waste your money or your time on such horrible people with outdated room. There isn't even a view to brag about.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I've ever experienced. Truly romantic setting, over-the-top attentive service, spectacular food and wine list. A MUST dining experience if you in Sedona.

Each room we considered were cottages. The quietness and serenity were what we wanted along with privatecy. On those points we were very pleased. We had our own patio close to the river large enough for a tree to be growing through it.. The service was very attentive. We really enjoyed the no tipping policy..

LARGE rooms with fire places and beautiful paths to your cottage made this a place we would like to park ourselves instead of touring this amazing area

Messed up Our Dinner order. We
Had Our Daughters Wedding here, and they forgot the Mom of the Bride's Dinner. Still charged us. Couple at Bar bought Champagne for the group. They were from Scottsdale. Very nice gesture. Other wise Dinner Not so Good.

My new Fiancee and I went to celebrate our engagement at the restaurant here and it was incredible! The setting was beautiful and romantic. We were seated right at the edge of a creek with the lights strung up in the trees. The atmosphere was perfectly complemented by the food- 4 courses of intense euphoria. But what really made our experience was our waiter, Michael. He was a great conversationalist who seemed truly interested in our life. Rachel, my Fiancee, is very interested in learning more about wine and he took the time to explain things about their wine menu in a very approachable manner. It is clear that he loves what he does and has a passion to share it with his tables. By far, the best dining experience we have ever had. We can't wait to return.

We stayed at L'Auberge again recently as we had such a great experience on our previous visits. However, this time they failed to meet the standards they set previously - in a huge way.

While the cottage we booked was great and the front desk staff was friendly, the restaurants and bar failed from a service standpoint multiple times. Apparently their recent acquisition by Hyatt isn't helping the situation and the problems with the restaurant are a known issue to the staff - it seems like it's been an on-going issue.

I have tried numerous times to speak to a manager about the issues both when we were there as well as after we left, and despite promises from the staff that someone will contact me, to date I've yet to hear anything from anyone.

We paid a premium price to stay at a premium resort (which is what we wanted), and in the end received barely average service with non-existent customer service.

Buyer beware - but we won't be going back, which is a shame because it used to be so much better.

Enchanting forest feels on the edge of a running river, with the kind of good and service you would expect from a 5star restraunt. It gets a little chilly as the sun goes down, but they do have heat lamps on station.

The smoked bison ordered medium came with a still pink center and an outside perfectly singed by the smoke, full of flavor with the meat still moist and juicy. The lamb was cooked more lightly as it should be, and was so tender chewing almost wasn't necessary. Pea soup was on the tart side, with a little too crisp and strong mint taste on the garnish of it for me. Fried shrimp and chorizo was excellent, came with a tart yellow sauce.

Just wanted to take the time and say thank you to all the wonderful staff working at L'Auberge in Sedona. This past weekend the resort was incredibly accommodating to help plan a proposal to my girlfriend.

The hard work and communication with Gregory at the Concierge and all the staff throughout the resort helped everything go off without a hitch and provide a beautiful surprise!

I can't speak highly enough about the resort and staff. The location is stunning and unlike many places I've travelled to. Incredible service, incredible views, delicious food and the ultimate in relaxation and comfort.

Can't wait to go back and back and back to this resort.

Thanks again!

This review is only for dining at L'Auberge as we did not stay at the hotel.

Let me preface my review by saying we have dined here twice. The first time we came was for lunch and we were pleased enough to return again for dinner on another visit to Sedona. The ambiance and atmosphere of the creek side dining is incredible. It might just be one of the best settings for a meal, not just in Sedona, but anywhere in Arizona. That said, I feel compelled to warn anyone who might be lured in by the setting because I have never been as disappointed with the quality and value of a meal as I was when we again came for dinner.

Don t get me wrong, I don t mind paying for a good meal. The food was good but nowhere near as good as it should have been for what we paid. My wife and I each had the three course meal, which was the only option available on their fixed menu. Your first two courses were smaller portions and the third course was a more generous portion. I say that with complete sarcasm as my third course was only a meager 4 oz. portion.

My meal consisted of a tiny piece of bacon wrapped Lapin (which was their fancy name for rabbit), a sort of Dungeness crab & spinach salad which was followed by a 4oz filet mignon. The three courses combined were probably less than 10oz total of food. My wife was served the same crab salad followed by a clam chowder (which would be more appropriately called clam broth as there was practically no clam in it) followed by a Ricotta Tortellini. They only had a verbal children s menu where we ordered a salmon filet and chicken fingers for our children.

Again, the food was decent but it certainly was well below par for what we would expect when our total bill for the above meals, two beers and two children s drinks was $280! Yes, that is TWO HUNDRED and EIGHTY DOLLARS!!! I have had fine dining experiences in some of the most expensive cities in this county: New York, San Francisco and abroad: London, Paris and I have never seen such a high dollar bill for such average food.

If you try dining at L'Auberge, please do yourself a favor, look at the menu (and prices first)! Oh, I forgot to mention, when we made our reservation, we were also asked to provide our credit card as we would be charged $40 if we didn t show or if we decided not to eat there. So, don t make a reservation before you know what you re getting yourself into. You can t beat the setting but it s not enough to make up for how they gouge you for the barely above average meals.

This is the ultimate dinner in Sedona. If you can get a creekside table (they're all shady) after a long day in the sun, it's fantastic. The food was top notch. Mariposa is my other favorite in Sedona, with a 10/10 classic Sedona view, but this is a higher level of food and service, and my wife said the most romantic place I've ever taken her, and that includes the top restaurants in Chicago and San Francisco. The food lives up to the price point, which is in the "high but not crazy" range. Our meal for 2 with a $150 bottle of wine, appetisers, and desert, was $450 after tip, and I've spent a lot more than that on a lot less. Get a creekside table if you can and arrive 30 min before sunset time for the true magic.

Gorgeous resort and very pleasant staff. Lunch Creekside is wonderful. Molly and Diego in the restaurant are wonderful. Although all the servers are great. The entire valet staff is superb, Austin and Hunter being two of the names I remember, but they are ALL so kind and go out of their way to help. Krystle at the reception desk is very accommodating. Caleb in the spa has great skills. It s almost unfair not to mention everyone as the entire experience was awesome. It is pricey but a great experience.

We went for a Romantic getaway and although it was nice, the visit was a bit frustrating. We had a Spa Cottage and several things did not work. The jacuzzi tub, fireplace and fan did not work. We had to call to have those things fixed. For some reason, the call did no good, so my husband ending up texting customer service and they came, but it took at least an hour for them to show up! For a room that costs quite a bit for us, it was frustrating! If we are going to get abrievated service, we should get a discounted price. Have fond memories of the resort, but this visit was not up to par by anyone's standards!!

My wife and i had appetizers and wine on the veranda, and the service we received the first time there has brought us back every time we come to Sedona (4 or 5 times a year). Thank you for continued excellent service.

Wonderful restful place. The Garden Cottages are well decorated and comfortably appointed. The 'outdoor' shower really is enjoyable even on a 50degree day and at night the pre-set wood burning fireplace is great to take the chill off. The resort fee takes the issue of tipping off of your mind and everyone is so helpful.

Great service staff all around. Beautiful location/views. Very good food at the restaurant and great room service. Wish there was more selection for room service but I do know they were undergoing renovation when we stayed there, so that could be why the selection was limited.

I live in Sedona and visited L'auberge and the Etch restaurant for the first time today (March 29). What a beautiful creekside property. Lunch at The Etch was very delicious, friendly, helpful staff and excellent service. I will be back again soon and am going to recommend to my local friends and out-of-town guests what a great place to enjoy.

We stayed in one of L'Auberge's 'Vista Cottages' and the name is no lie. The views are incredible, day or night; I was doing astrophotography off our room's deck. The suite itself is spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, and much of Sedona's tourist district is a short walk up the hill. The on-site restaurant suffers from bafflingly slow service, though the food itself was quite good - and to be fair, 'relaxed' service seems to be par for the course in Sedona. Overall, we are quite pleased with our stay!

Plan for a long lunch. Service is a little on the slow side but designed to complement the spa experience. Views along the rolling stream are gorgeous indoor or out. Perfect outing to catch up with friends. Everything was delicious.

L'Auberge de Sedona was a wonderful experience. We were upgraded to a cottage which suited us perfectly. My girlfriend and I were driving across America and the upgrade was much needed. As for the hotel, it is located next to Old Creek which sets this hotel apart from any other. Magical, romantic scenery while seated at the fine dining restaurant along the river. The hotel has 24hrs pool service and gym. We couldn't be more pleased with our booking. The landscape in Sedona is mezmorizing. Just a mile away up Airport Rd you can overlook the town during sunset and get stunning views. Thank you

We stayed here for our wedding 12/6-12/10 and the service is beyond exceptional. The lady that checked us in was so welcoming and the woman Maria that cleaned our room each day did a spectacular job. The valet people were also so prompt and polite. All the service we received there was easy and everyone was helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds are magical. Your money is well spent here. This is the only place we want to stay when we go to Sedona.
