Hotel was awesome. The service was beyond excellent. We got unexpectedly upgraded when we got there, which made things even better. The service is what will bring us back many more times. Highly suggest staying here.

Literally the best meal experience of my life! It was incredibly beautiful & I didn't want to leave! We had reservations that began at 1:00 & we stayed until nearly dinner at 5:00. Amazingly romantic, serene & relaxing. The food & service was absolutely impeccable. Not once did I feel rushed & several times I was told to just relax & enjoy myself. If you want a completely unsurpassed experience, this place is a must!

So beautiful, words cannot describe the experience we had here. People were so kind, the land was clean the view was amazing. The vibe was there. The price doesn't matter when you have a view like this and staff like these people.

My wife and I decided to splurge for our 40th anniversary together by going all out and reserving a Creekside Cottage Suite, and we are SO glad we did!

We were literally right on the banks of Oak Creek, and were treated to the constant soothing sound of the water rushing by, through the rocks in the creek. It was very romantic and as idyllic a setting as you could possibly ask for. Made all the more so by the very comfortable and well appointed cottage, with the huge balcony overlooking the creek.

A special shout out to Edna in reservations for getting us this particular cottage! She told me it would be perfect for the experience my wife and I were seeking for such a special occasion, and after spending three nights there, we couldn t have agreed more! Out of all of the beautiful cottages there we truly believe we were given the best one, and we are so grateful!

The entire property is beautiful, with lots of green flora everywhere, and of course there is the incredibly beautiful and almost magical Oak Creek that the resort abuts.

Which brings me to their fabulous creekside restaurant, Cress.

We ate breakfast every morning there, and one very special dinner on the night of our anniversary that entailed 7 courses! And in each case, they were more than happy to either whip up something not on their menu or allow us to make substitutions! We were very finicky, and they graciously accommodated us!

Our dining experiences were greatly augmented by Margret (Reservations), Cheyenne and Alexa (Hostess), David (Maitre d ), and the waitstaff of Osbaldo, Raul, and Gio! Each of them made our time spent dining by the creek all the more special!

And we defy anyone to find a more magical setting for a fine meal than right on the banks of Oak Creek! WOW!!!

We also want to recognize Krystle at the Front Desk, who handled our check in. Beautiful smile and very friendly! She was a great way to start our stay there!

Saving the best for last, we want to give special recognition to a very special young lady, Lexie, who was kind enough to oversee our getting our spare set of car keys back, which were accidentally left behind!

She not only FedExed us our keys to our home, but she stayed in contact on a daily basis until we received them, and was very engaging in each of her communications. Just a delight!

Thank you, L Auberge de Sedona, for coming through for us! We wanted a once in a lifetime experience that would pay proper homage to our 40th anniversary, and they delivered!

We cannot recommend strongly enough this enchanting resort, no matter the reason for the stay! You will not be disappointed! Magical setting, comfortable and well appointed accommodations, excellent food, and very friendly and helpful staff!

My wife and I wanted a quiet spot on the creek and found it with L"auberge. We had brunch and was served by the most personable staff . in particular, our server, Diego who was most attentive and always with a smile. Thanks to all for a great experience along the banks of OaK Creek.

Amazing view towards the dining area,
Everyone I met were amazing. Wonderful experience and it s located in the heart of Sedona.

We were there years ago for our Anniversay dinner on patio. Everything about the restaurant was prefect . We returned in October, 2018 to celebrate our anniversary again and we were shocked how it has changed. We could not eat on patio because of rain which nothing can be done about the weather. The inside was very stark and sterile looking not at all warm feeling. Servive was fair.

I could not believe the change in menu. Cost is $98.00 per person. But you have to choose from a list of one appetizer , one main course and a dessert. Portions were small for our husbands and presentation was nice but food was just mediocre . I NEVER order appetizer or dessert so I was not happy with choices.. I will never recommend L'Auberge to anyone again. I sent some friends there last year and they were disappointed now I understand why.

This review is for the spa and specifically for Erica (I hope I spelled her name correctly - I have seen different ways). I find it rare to have a massage and someone listen to your specific needs and really focus on a certain area for the full time. A very soothing voice and knowledgeable with her techniques. Thank you so much! I hope my mother is booked with her on Tuesday. Great service and very relaxing.

First date creekside brunch: avocado toast w crab and bacon, hummus plate with fois grois, sauterne to match, espresso to finish.

Coupled with a transformative 8 hour hike, this was a first date fir the record books.

Thank you, L'Auberge de Sedona staff, for iur fabulous creekside experience!

L auberge has amazing service, quality, and overall experience. Recommended for a girls trip at any age, couple s getaway, or mother-daughter trips. The spa, amenities, and daily yoga stretch make for a very relaxing trip. Additionally, l auberge is a central location for any Sedona excursion while seeming completely isolated and tranquil.

I really want to focus the majority of this review on the valet service. I know most people concentrate on the rooms or check in but I have to say that I have never had such amazing customer service and professionalism as I did at this resort when dealing with ALL of the attendants in the valet. They were so kind and helpful and went way above and beyond with superior customer service! Thank you for a job well done!!!

So as far as the resort; it's beautiful and maintained nicely. The cottages by the creek were breathtaking and relaxing. I loved the outdoor shower!! The staff does a lot of special extras (chocolates on the bed, extra towels, shampoo and we received a welcome basket with chocolate covered strawberries).

This place exceeded my expectations. Great room service twice a day. They refresh with new towels and tidy our room and belongings just like they do on cruise ships. The restaurant onsite was just ok. We found that all of our dishes were over cooked and dry. The grounds are well kept. Staff are friendly and mostly accommodating except for the front desk lady seemed a bit curt when she declined my request for a late check-out. It was pleasant to sit by the flowing creek next to the property and watch and feed the ducks.

Other then having to wait an extra two hours to check in this place was awesome! They upgraded us for the inconvenience. If you have the budget, then stay here. The staff takes care of everything for you including luggage and your vehicle. Its literally worry free.

Our daughter selected this beautiful, one of a kind resort for her intimate wedding. Everything was 5 Star service, from the initial visit, coordinating with vendors, the meals, the spacious rooms to the professionalism of ALL the staff ! Kayla was her wedding coordinator and with only 10 days, she made the most magical wedding come together! She truly cared about what the bride wanted and she was exceptional on her communication with us, prompt response and flexibility. She always found a solution, truly cared about making her day amazing and was onsite the entire event! The entire staff were so professional, polite and responsive, the type of service that you rarely find these days~ I don't say this lightly, the entire experience was absolutely perfect !

Service was slow due to a unavoidable problem. Staff was excellent!! Apologized profusely and gave the three of us free lunch. I thought maybe dessert. Nope lunch. Amazing food and view and service

Rooms were beautiful, but lacked any sort of view of the rocks or the sky (the resort is focused on the creek, unlike any of the other resorts in town). Free coffee and pastry in the morning, and daily duck-feeding is a great activity. Service was friendly, but beware the 11.34% service charge they tack on when you check out (in our case, without telling us in advance, though they later agreed to refund it). $27/day for parking is extremely expensive considering there is a free public lot next-door. Restaurant was expensive and service was slow.

CRESS: We went for our honeymoon and I was very disappointed. I have a few food allergies and they brought out the salad with croutons on it (I discussed with the waitress that I cannot have gluten/bread) but they were quick to remedy it. The waitress told me I could have most entrees but no sauces. When they brought my meat, another waitress poured sauce all over it, so I was scared I would be allergic and wanted to confirm with our waitress. She had just walked in the kitchen and didn't come out for about 10 minutes. Because they don't heat the plates, my food was ice cold by the time I was able to confirm with her that it was allergy-free. My husband felt like his lobster was raw. I also had to ask 3 different times to have my water refilled. For an expensive restaurant that serves an amuse-bouche, the service was dismal and the food was just ok.

ETCH: In the morning, we went down to the restaurant to order room service so I could explain my allergies. First, my husband ordered a breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast, and potatoes. I ordered the same meal: eggs and sausage with potatoes and toast - but I let them know my allergies and told them fruit would be ok if the potatoes were unsafe and my husband told them that he would take my bread on the side since he doesn't have any allergies. We explained everything very carefully. When the food arrived, there were no potatoes for his meal, but two fruit bowls, and there was toast on both plates and crumbs of gluten/bread all over my plate.

The rooms were nice and they did upgrade us when we got there, but when we went to check out the woman at the front desk asked if we got our welcome drinks. We informed her that no one told us we got two free welcome drinks. Instead of saying that we could go enjoy them now, she responded, "That's ok" and then asked if we got our free salt scrub. We then informed her that no one told us about a free salt scrub. They also acted like the $40 breakfast credit was free, when we paid $20 for it when booking the room.

I understand I'm being knit picky, but this is a nice hotel and I would expect their service to be better. Overall, we were very disappointed.

The restaurant lost our reservation that we made over a month in advance. The manager there told me I had never made a reservation until she found the recording of our phone call proving that we did make a reservation but they lost it. It completely ruined our anniversary weekend.

Half of cod sandwich .. $ 25 .:two beers 18 and two glasses of wine ..30 ... how does that add up to 165.00 .. never going back there again that s ridiculous... got a free glass of champagne for my birthday and they charged us for a full bottle then apologized and gave us a free glass of wine !! Horrible service !

We stayed here last year while wedding venue shopping and getting away for our anniversary. They stay was lovely and worth the splurge. Some of the best sleep I ve ever had. Just overall so relaxing and charming. We even woke up to snow, but I know that wasn t venue arranged ;)
The location is fantastic. The grounds are perfect, but close enough to walk to most anything we needed/wanted.

The only awkward part is what applies to only a small amount of people. We had mentioned we were wedding venue shopping and filled out an online event form, too. We never heard back from anyone. We really thought this would be our place. We picked a location in California instead.

This review is for the restaurant... We stopped in and had an amazing time. Note that on Sunday, you can eat from a limited menu in the upper area or enjoy the full brunch by the creek. It is beautiful peaceful and relaxing. A hidden gem!!

Not enough covered parking for all guests, tried to reach concierge 3 times but was never available, rooms were nice however bathrooms were outdated and not very clean. We had dinner at the etch and had to wait an hour to be served, food was mediocre with no healthy options and cocktails overpriced. Pool area was ok. No manager available 24/7. Expected better amenities and better service for price paid. Absolutely not worth to pay highest price in Sedona.

Very nice place with fantastic views and ambience. The cottages are ridiculously over accommodating and for that price I would have a hard time leaving the rooms to see everything else.

The cottage rooms are spectacular. The restaurant food is scrumptious. The staff was very welcoming and professional. Probably the best in Sedona.

The housekeeping services were a bit slow and the spa facilities are not up to par though the services were top notch.

Sedona is one of the most spectacular places in the world to get married in, and L'Auberge is the most incredible wedding venue in Sedona, bar none. L'Auberge combines the sweeping vistas of the red rocks with the lush greenery along the babbling Oak Creek, and tops it all off with a level of professional service and culinary expertise that is unparalleled.
When we met with Katie Cowan, the Catering and Event Manager, she impressed us immediately with her level of attention to detail, and her willingness to work with us (we ended up being L'Auberge's first full vegan wedding). Katie is a gem, with a rock solid personality, and is the PERFECT person you want to be with you on a day when there is so much happening, and so many details to pull together.
L'Auberge simply has it all for anyone planning a wedding in the red rocks of Sedona. It is a world class venue, in one one of the most visually stunning places on the planet, with genuinely caring staff that deliver personalized, professional service on EVERY level. If you're planning a wedding in Sedona, they will make it happen for you, too. full of thanks to L'Auberge for a wedding memory of a lifetime!!

We stayed at the resort this month for a friend's wedding. While the location is absolutely beautiful, there was nothing outstanding about the accommodations by any means. We stayed in a creek side cottage. It has a good amount of space. If you're at all interested in watching TV while in bed, most of the cottages are not conducive (unless you lie on your side the whole time :). The bed was only semi-comfortable and the pillows not at all. I was surprised to find things not well-kept as you'd expect for a suite costing $500/night. One of the stoppers on the toilet seat was missing, the pictures on the wall in the bathroom were very low quality and one frame was very obviously broken. The hot/cold/on/off indicator ring in the bathtub was hanging loose over the handle. The WORST thing about this experience was that there was a housekeeping storage shed attached to the back of the building and when housekeeping would access the room and close the door, there was a very loud bang that rocked the whole back wall...coming twice at noon nap time as well as three times between 11 pm and midnight. If you're looking for a beautiful location, this is a great spot, but for the cost....I would expect a much more put-together room. I've slept more comfortably at rooms for a fraction of the cost.

There is complimentary coffee and scones/danishes each morning. The first morning it was very well attended with an employee cleaning up and refilling thing three times in the ten minutes I was present. The second day I left and came back after waiting ten minutes for coffee and creamer to be refilled. No one came. When I returned the items had been replenished, but no one attended the area for quite a while.

The concierge came through with printing something quickly for me that I needed and I appreciated her attentiveness. All staff I experienced were polite and friendly without being intrusive.

I'd give the grounds, staff, and location an A+, but the room itself in quality and comfort gets a C.

Peaceful serinity. I was looking for a quite place that was relaxing and could provide some pampering. I got exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend L'auberge, their spa is incredible as well.

This is such a beautiful place. We are getting married here this summer and I have been through a few times. The renovations have really made this place into a spectacular place to stay, eat, or get married.

We ate at Etch for lunch and were quite pleased with out experience. The outdoor seating on the river is why this is really rated a 4, as the food doesn't necessarily live up to the prices. I started with a Bloody Mary - otnwas okay. We ordered the Mac and Cheese for a starter and it was average. I ordered the reuben, which was also very average (note: I live near NYC, king of pastrami). My brother ordered the burger and it was pretty delicious. The service was quite good and we were pleased overall. The ambience from the river makes the experience just amazing.
