Absolutely worst experience at the Cress resturant...

Absolutely worst experience at the Cress resturant. We left without even eating so to not prolong the torturously bad service we got any longer. I showed up with my wife and 2 kids at 10:55 for 11am reservation to brunch. You know the glorified buffet where I serve myself but it still will be a $210 meal for my family. They said 10 min to sit , at 11:10 my wife asked on status and said they would be clearing a specific table and pointed at it, be few min. Ok no problem. 10 more min go by kids whining hungry, others have shown up and been seated and my wife is very hungry. By the way this is our anniversary weekend and the fancy meal I had picked. We at that point inquired again and the hostess proceeded to say they were short staffed and behind it would be 5 more minutes. Another 10 min at 1130 the server for upper tables that had nothing to do with brunch heard us complaining and cleared the table herself, so much for the regular staff. Hostess again said we are short staffed, I watched these two for the 30 min. Not once did they lift a finger to help the operation. Not once did I see a manager helping or doing anything. At this point I said why do I even want to give them my money and cut and run. The manager finally did show up to argue with my wife at 1140 that it was our fault for asking for a table?!?!?! So listen to the many reviews that are poor on this place, it is true. They rely on it being a fancy setting and having fancy uniforms but that's it, service doesn't matter cause of that I guess. Funny as my jeep tour person the day prior said it wasn't any good any more and was basically still surviving off being good in the past. How right she was!! We went to the pump house where we had a great time for 1/3 the price. Avoid this place, wish I had!

I like this hotel because it's small and not crowded and they have a restaurant here that offers a happy hour with great rates. The pool is amazing and lots of seating... And it's right in the center of all the things that I like to do here in Sedona.

Room smelled a bit musty. Keys didn't work when we first arrived. Bedding and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean. Bathroom was really very nice. It had a jetted tub. Their complimentary products smelled very nice and left us feeling very clean. Duck feeding was an awesome feature. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. We ate at the on site restaurant for breakfast, it was very nice. I liked the avocado toast with bacon. We also ate at Cress. All in all it was a bit underwhelming. There isn't anything too specific and the amenities they offered were nice. I'm not sure I'd stay again.

They only let you book 2 nights as a minimum and were quite rude in explaining this over the phone. I travel quite a bit and never run into that. I was recommended the hotel and planned on dining there as well as using the spa and pool, but have to say I will not be giving them my business in the future. I am sure they would recognize that some people would spend more in one night than many do in two.

The view is lovely, the cabins are awesome, and I am always pleased. It is a bit pricey costing similar to a higher end cruise, particularly the spa, but generally worth it if you are looking for a quick and romantic get away
Now we did have some issues during our stay, but Kathena made it all better

This looks like a nice place, sadly if you're a business traveler or want to travel alone, allowing yourself some peace and quiet, they don't want you there. Was told this today while asking to make a reservation. They're only interested in families or couples.

I have not stayed at his resort, but, every time I am in Sedona I dine there. The service is superior to any place we have eaten before. I was there 3 weeks ago and am returning Monday, June 8, June 9 and June 10. I stay at the Orchards Inn which I understand is owned by L'Auberge and the view from EVERY ROOM is panoramic of the red rocks. Cannot beat it or the price. Looking forward to another great experience...

A piece of the galactic vortex in Arizona? You bet and all central to L'Auberge de Sedona. Tranquil and relaxing, this is the place to be when money is no object. Let alone have a WEDDING here, which our family did. Peace and good zen.

Fantastic Resort. Went her for our best friends wedding. Beautiful scenery within walking distance of shopping in Sedona. Only thing I can even say negative is that the water pressure in the creekhouse shower was a little lacking.

The place is very dark you can't read the menu. The outdoor seats are not comfortable and have mosquitoes at night. No indoor seating available. Set menu are average compare to its price. Staff are not well trained, don't even know which guests order what. I have selected a bottle of wine from the counter and ask the staff to send to my table. Somehow They leave the wine at the bar till I finished my meal. I saw it when I left the restaurant.

We went for a team retreat and had an incredible time. We stayed Sunday to Monday and it felt like we had the resort to ourselves. We enjoyed wine on the porch, late night s mores, had a fire in the room and a team meeting by the creek. Staff goes above to make your stay memorable. Big rooms. Beautiful location. Enjoy nature and all it has to offer at the resort.

Was here for DeeDee Gatton's wedding to Will Dryer. It was the most beautiful wedding ever. Well deserved for this special couple! The venue is lovely but the Walsh family really did it up to make it outstanding!

Four or five star is truly a risky proposition at any time, anywhere in the world.. all is so subjective, and depends oh so much on how you feel going in. It's always a roll of the dice at best, and hopefully it comes out better than worse a majority of the time. And throw in a high dollar cost and it gets even more confusing.. no one is on exactly equal footing when it comes to spending money.
We will be visiting L'Auberge and have high hopes... we'll let you know how it works out.

Had breakfast at Etch at L'Auberge de Sedona. It was absolutely wonderful to sit by Oak Creek and watch/listen while having breakfast. Pur waiter was attentive and polite. The quality of the food was fine - nothing special. You really go for the view and the quality service.

Excellent dinner, Excellent ambiance, Excellent polite and friendly staff all around, and Brent was even better than excellent serving the dinner table. Excellent management and the vision for this gorgeous resort is proven by its staff and products. Well worth reasonably priced four-course-meal and regular menu. The Champaign was well served in beautiful cold glasses. You got to go there if you are in Sedona.

My husband and I absolutely love L'Auberge! We have stayed in one of the cabins at least once a year for the past few years and it has become a transition. The cabins are so cozy and beautiful with the fireplaces. I have visited the spa and had a prenatal massage, which was wonderful. If you happen to visit in the summer, have breakfast down by the creek, it is absolutely fabulous!

I rarely write a review, however felt like i needed to in regards to L'Auberge Restaurant. It was a terrible experience. We had reservations at 6:45, however did not get seated until 7:30. (Waiting this long for a table that was reserved a day in advance you would think they would have offered us a complimentary drink or something....NOTHING) When we finally got seated Our waiter took our order, served us our water and said that he would be leaving and pointed to another waiter stating he would take care of us. We NEVER saw him until I asked for our check. My food was luke warm and not very good. The only thing that is probably neat about this is the tables near the creek, however they were not seating down there this night....Don't waste your money

What a beautiful place! StayEd here for my 60th birthday, what a treat. Everybody was so friendly and the Creek House has amazing accommodation. My family even arranged for the pastry chef to bake me a birthday cake, it was a phenomenal. This property is well worth the stay and I can t wait to go back for another trip.

Drove all the way to Sedona for special thanksgiving dinner. seated in a cold "tent", finished our dinner in 2 and a half hours, had to move to the dining room to finish the dinner. manager was informed by the staff about the ordeal, did not bother to come to our table, spent ridiculous money for that kind of evening.

One of the most exceptional stays I have ever had in a hotel. The views in the service were extraordinary and we really enjoyed the extra touches such as the chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne. I was here for a special occasion, my birthday, and the hotel made it quite memorable.

It s a 5 star resort/facility, but some of the extra fees were a bit annoying (service charge and valet parking). That said, if you want to have the most top of the line experience in Sedona AZ, this this THE place to be. The Creekside dining was romance personified. I had one minor issue and Front End manager Lexi handled it to 100% satisfaction in a prompt and professional way.

The location is stunning, and you can climb (a bunch of steps) and get to uptown easily. Price for the room was a bit too high but it was busy in Sedona. The restaurant is right on Oak Creek and gorgeous but $$$$. Service by the valet and others was good.

Absolutely stunning and the service is on point. Adam, Graciella and Stephen made the experience tops. Beautiful views and great food. Absolutely coming back. Stayed 1 night in the Vista Cottage and 1 in the Creekside Cottage. Great experience.

My wife and I stayed one night on motorcycle trip from Scottsdale to the Grand Canyon. Upon arrival we were quickly greated by friendly staff who cleared a safe, accessible parking spot for a large Gold Wing. +1 on the arrival experience.

We booked a room in main building and noticed immediately that there is noise from the upstairs rooms and outside the door. In our case this was caused by some small children playing on the stairs and this may not have been an issue at night. We called the front desk and asked politely for a room change. They were highly accommodating and we were relocated to an upgraded, quieter room immediately. This was another example of the fine customer service we experience in our brief stay.

The grounds of the hotel are breathtaking and the location provides a great mix of solitude and accessibility to downtown Sedona. If you stay, make sure you take the brief hike into downtown by using the stairs that are located on the hill behind the spa. There is a grass landing half way up the hill that provides breathtaking views - particularly at sunrise and sunset. If you can make the financial leap to one of the private room, do it. The rooms are awesome.

We've stayed in many fine hotels and our first trip to L'Augerge was right up there with the best. We'll be back.
