Lauberge casino and resort Review

We just went to gamble. Always had someome coming by checking drinks. Everyone was very nice. And the place is beautiful.

I've only been to the resort for shopping and gambling, but I can say the place is clean and elegant.

Buffet was amazing. The hotel was so cute inside. The casino was very nice

Fun place with free drinks. Breakfast was nasty but if you get them to make fresh french toast or omelet it's better but the premaid food was gross

Nice but table game minimums are to high for my comfort.

Left with alot less money in my bank, lol but fully enjoyed the atmosphere

I am a resident of lake Charles so I rarely take advantage of rooms unless it's for a special occasion... But I've always enjoyed how clean the premises is and how there is usually a decent spread of stores and events. The trolley between the L'auberge and golden nugget is a nice touch. Nice conference rooms for professional events too.

Great resort, keeps it classy, awesome lazy river and pool

We enjoy eating here. Our last trip wasn't awesome but it's usually pretty great.

This place can be more brighting however it's good for weekend I would recommend for price effective

This is by far our favorite place to come to as it is for the kids as it is for us. Love the attention we get great friendly service and awesome food

I love the atmosphere of this hotel. They have a very friendly staff. The casino is great and you cant smell the cigarette smoke. The pool area is phenomenal!! This is a great place.

Very BAD staffs at cashier windows. Managers are so RUDE, services so slow and never have enough people work there at the windows.

A group went to Lake Charles to gamble and have dinner for a birthday weekend. We had a great time and the payouts seemed better than near by casinos. The dinner buffet was good with plenty of choices. All the staff we ran in to were attentive and friendly. We are already talking about another trip soon with a bigger group next time.

The pool closes wayyy to early for it to be a resort

Great place. Especially fun in groups. Hotels are cheapest on weekdays with weekend rates bring outrageous.

EXELENT all the time when we came we have a good time thankyuo and for sure we going to come back.......

We used to Love Golden Nugget, but they have went way down. Here we felt better and more clean!! My friend stayed at the Nugget and they had dog poop outside their door. So definitely staying here at L'Auberge from now on !!

It was my first time going to the casino and staying for a couple of days. I had a great time.

Great place to have some fun and drinks with the friends nor family

It was nice. Alot of slots to chose from. The tables had high minimums but there was video pocker and other around.

My worst Lauberge experience ever. My hotel room toilet is stopped up, leaking bathtub, dirty wash rags on the floor and non smoking when a smoking room was requested. I wait for 5 hours to be moved to a clean smoking room near the elevator was assigned to a king size smoking furthest away from elevator and also not very clean. Someone's trash is left behind. The manager is rude and not willing to rectify the situation. Usually don't have any issues at Lauberge but this stay has made me think twice about returning. Thanks Lauberge for ruining my relaxing birthday weekend.

Always a Wonderful time relaxing, gaming, eating and shopping.

My biggest problem with this place is that every time I've came they have about 11 ticket casher machines.. and usually about four or five of them are working... and they have about two people behind the cashier counter so it takes forever to cash out a ticket other than that we have a blast..the cocktail waiters and waitresses are phenomenal, they really need to fix this problem I'm not sure if it's technical or if it's something to do with not working enough people on the schedule, but whatever it is it seems like an easy fix to me there's no reason for so many ticket cashing machines are not working...

Had a great time, service was friendly and masks were mandatory.

It s a wonderful and luxury hotel. Most of the the slot machines are new generation. The missing thing was kids club...

The rooms are nice and clean, and the service is always warm and welcoming.

This resort is our go-to place when we visit Lake Charles. Kids love the pool and grown ups love the casino.

Premiere resort that happens to be a casino. The Lazy river is a go to water attraction as well as the pool.

Spent 2 nights casino was nice dealers were very nice hostesses were attentive and quick buffet was very good other restaurants were l overpriced and not very good overall good time

My family and I go every year, and it's always fun. The pools are so fun, the restaurants are great, and the rooms are so comfy.

Prior to this trip, I hadn't visited here for over 7 years. It's still a beautiful casino, but even after all of this time, the machines are still tight as though they just opened yesterday! Lol
Despite ALL of the smoking, L'auberge is one of the few casinos that I'm not really disturbed by the smell. They do well with handling it.
We ate at the buffet. It's not the same as years ago. I'll only eat there now if it's complimentary or if they have the all you can eat crabs. The selection is diverse, but I just didn't enjoy the brunch.
I will stay at the hotel one day and review it. I know they have nice rooms. I look forward to it, but I'll leave the gambling to the other casinos.

The casino had an over all sewer smell. It made us sick to our stomach so we had to leave. Wait staff was very attentive.

It was fun until some racist lady went off on our group randomly.

Went to see Ron White. Show was great. Seating was in riser section F. Perfect to enjoy show. Lady behind me was ..a B..kept putting her foot in my seat pulling my hair & touching my purse. I grabbed her foot & ask her to quit.she processed to talk with her friend several people ask her to be quite then she accidentally poured her drink down my back & laughs. Out of respect for Ron I didn't punch her...security should have removed her. It was obvious she was causing a problem for many quest.

First of all, it's been a while since I stayed over, the rooms were excellent, from reserving to checking out and all between. The Front desk ck in reps were courteous, professional and were very willing to be of assistance and meet our needs. There were a small group and wanted to be near each others rooms. Lovely relaxed rooms, housekeepers were great. The staff on the floor was kind and understandable, also patient
(I use Oxygen, etc) it was a slight bit of difficulty getting bottles of water each time I was on the floor. The cashiers were very pleasant, and caring also. Really appreciate all the changes that I could see pertaining to care with the virus. One of the eateries I dined at was Mordern Pantry, I think, they were even kind, patient, service with a smile and the Philly steak was SO delicious, I ordered another the same exact way. Everything was wonderful, Thank you for the extra care and comfortability you should to myself and my family. See you soon.
