Lauberge casino and resort Reviews

Went to see if had a room at 8:30 front desk said we need to check back in at 11pm because they need to save all rooms for vip before they could take any walk in. So we went and sit down at the Emerald restaurant and ate got done around 11pm went back to front desks talk to same guy his response was check back in at 2am in the morning. Grow a back bone and just say no don t waste people time. Have to say the restaurant would get a 5 star from me great food and service.

L'Auberge in Lake Charles is my second home. Make sure to request a room that is not on the Garden Elevator side though. There is only one elevator working and impossible to get off your floor because it is always full to the max. The stairs might seem like a great option but the lead you outside into the valet parking lot.

Staff is wonderful! Food was incredible. Felt welcomed!

1-No enough tables opened for people to play. 2- it is my birthday today by the way. I went there yesterday evening, and asked for a members choice card so I can use it to play. The host PATRICIA was too distracted by something behind me and never noticed my birthday so she didn't say anything. When I asked for the casino card, she thought I asked to change the pin number on my card -_-.... Last visit was pretty bad compared to previous experiences. Only the security guard that was checking people's driver's license said anything about my birthday.

This hotel is gorgeous and the lazy river is the best.

I've been coming here since it opened about 10 years ago. The rooms are nice and newly renovated and they have a great pool complex. The staff is usually very nice also. Great place to stay if your in the area or for a couple day getaway.

Nice casino, great choice of restaurants and even shopping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd like to see more variety of 25 and 50 cent slots rather than the 9 million penny machines but overall it's a fun place to gamble although I have never personally had any luck there.

Buffet was expensive for what it was. It was $40 per person. If you like crab then it's worth it, cause it's all u can eat. Other than that, it was generic buffet food. The casino is only one floor and expensive minimum buy in for tables. However they do have a nice pool with a lazy river and the hotel is really nice look wise. Overall an OK hotel.

Really beautiful resort and very friendly people and fun environment

L'Auberge is one of the only casinos I've stayed at, so I can't really compare it to any others, but if I just think about it as a hotel, it's a nice enough place. We've been disappointed a few times by rooms with something broken or dirty but nothing crazy. They have a few good shops and the Jack Daniel's Bar and Grill is good. The casino itself is okay, lots of game options and it's generally fairly clean, but the layout can be a little confusing if you've never been. Overall,it's a nice enough casino.

Property is dated, has mediocre decor. Elevators take forever. casino gets very busy on the weekends. Pool area is nice though.

Love going here. Always clean. Staff is helpful. The buffet is awesome.

Great vacation spot to go do some quick gaming. The distance from other casinos and everyday shops are great. Not great for kids though. There is a game room but it only has driving games, shooting games, and a few claw games. No ticketed style games for redeeming prizes. No childcare center either so leave the babies at home.

The golf course is above average for the area. The casino floor is good if you don't expect a Las Vegas feel but it's a great experience for southern Louisiana. Better than anything I've experienced in Oklahoma

I liked the Menu, But the Buffet has discontinued the Snow and Dungeness Crabs !

We attended an awards ceremony with dinner served. The food was superb. The staff was incredibly attentive. It made for a wonderful evening.

I found the main areas of the resort very nice the casino very nice however the cleanliness of The Suite was lacking but very Tastefully furnished.
The only place that I ate at the resort was their Buffet which was extremely pricey and the cleanliness as well as the quality of the dishes was very poor.

Loved it! The environment is very fun and the service is really nice!

On November 23 my husband and I decided to go to L'Auberge casino for our 22nd Anniversary to eat the buffet and do some gambling. We drove 2 hrs to only be totally let down. First of all this was not our first time here. We have came several times to enjoy there buffet and it's " usually" good. This time I was completely let down 81.00 later and waited and waited for crab legs my husbands favorite when we finally got some they were cold.pretty much everything was empty except for turkey or prime rib neither which we eat. Fried shrimp was replaced with bodaim ball..they were gross..I love them but these were mush. Our waitress filled our drinks only once and she was never seen we were at a small table and bowls and plates which were only 3 set she never moved them or our crab leg bucket we ended up just setting it on the floor. I normally take the good with the bad but not this time. We left the buffet to go gamble and after seeing the waitress several times and asking for a beer for my husband and I it was finally 35 minutes later before weever got one. This casino never seems to pay out. We lose mmoney every time we go. I know it's a gamble. But to not enjoy a 81.00 dinner on top of it is not acceptable. I will no longer give my money here if I don't get something for this horrible anniversary. I will be trying out Golden Nugget.

Nice hotel, but not kid friendly. There isn't anything for your kids to do after the pool closes which is like 7pm. The game room shown online looks nothing like the game room pictured online....it has maybe 10 games in it and is smaller than my bedroom closet.

Room service food tasted horrible, was freezing cold, and took over an hour to receive (when we ordered they said 30-40 minutes). All in all the food from room service is definitely not worth what they charge you.

The casino is ok, but good luck getting a drink! I had 1 waitress come and take my drink order (I got so excited and thought finally!) I waited for an hour on the same game but she never returned. Every time I wanted a drink I had to go play a game at the bar to get one.

I so love this place...Its awesome!!! Waitress staff is excellent and room service is the bomb..The whole Resort is somewhere you would enjoy

I went to a concert there. The seating area is very comfortable. You are not crowded against the next person.

Awesome! Room was very nice. But NO refrigerator and microwave. Bring warm clothes...they keep the hotel and casino very cold!

Fun hours shops and restaurants on Sunday are not good

I'm so upset I went here I've faced a big as lose I was staying there for a night next day when I had to check out I accidentally forgot my pants in the room after 20mins later when I realized I did not had my wallet on me because I've forgotten my pants in the room in the bathroom I went back to go see and talk to room service they did not help me plus my pants were missing with $1780 cash my bank card Id everything the manager no one helped me look for it they did not even check the cameras the manager gave me a # to contact him but for a whole week of calling him they do not answer or anything and it shows me how they are i will never go back here make sure guys keep an eye out

Casino tables were a little too high for our budget but it was still fun
