This location is the best Larry s out of all Larry s in Jacksonville.

Yesterday I picked up a sandwich ( Turkey) and was hands down one the best Turkey Subs EVER! I kid you not! Everything on it was fresh and it was like 5pm! Now that was surely a different kind of wOw! You get 10 UP in CAPS for this LARRY GIANT SUBS!

I get the big 1 every time. Is very good other then never heard of place putting mayo and mustard on a Italian sammy but they do. So i ask to not put on. Plus have beer!

Great food for the money much better than Subways more for the money

Larry's Giant Subs is perhaps the closest I have ever come to an addiction. I crave those subs! I jones for their tuna melt... A must when I visit Jacksonville.

The food is awesome the service is great fast and friendly.

I come here a good amount. They say the lobby closes at midnight on Friday and Saturday night but it actually is locked at least 15 minutes beforehand.

Everytime I've been to this location I get home and realize my sub is missing half the items it's supposed to come with. Larry's isnt worth the money. $12 for a halfass sandwich.

Went through the Drive-Thru order 2 12-inch subs, one them being a meal. Left a 2 dollar tip. Got back to the house only to see 2 6-inch subs. Not a good way to get tips.

Never had a terrible experience here. Always awesome sandwiches. But soup taste like canned and is normally filmy. 4/5

I love Larry's giant subs and I was so happy to find one close but I'll never be back to the monument location. The manager and co worker couldn't stop having what should have been a private conversation at the top of there lungs so they could hear each other over the slicers. It started with a teen she knows needs to have a brick thrown in his face and it just became more hostile and violent. I wanted lunch not drama and revolting conversation.

Always good food and great service. The datil pepper hot sauce is a must for any sub!

I love this place, except my first visit... Food took forgery. Otherwise good drivethru experiences and the Greek salad is ah-ma-zing.

Kinda having a subway sub only difference the inside of Larry's is themed out which is cool.

I love Larry's but I will not be coming back to this location. Months ago, I ordered a kongs club that had a long thin piece of plastic in it, which I'm assuming was from the bag of lettuce. Mistakes happen and I understand that, but this location continues to mess up. Went again yesterday and ordered 2 subs to go. The inside was not busy at all. No one ordered before us but it took a lot longer than usual to get our food. Another customer ordered 2 subs to go also about 5 minutes after we placed our order, he received his before we did. (he also waited a long time) Husband went to the counter to ask what was up and he saw our 2 subs just sitting on trays on the counter. The employees told him it was taking longer because "the Cuban needed to be pressed." It doesn't take 20 minutes to press a sandwich so that was very clearly a bs excuse. But their excuse made sense when I finally got home and unwrapped my food because half of the Cuban was burned do yourself a favor and go to literally any other Larry's.

Never going to find a sub better then a Larry's sub...

This shop in particular is super well run. Great sandwiches and soups, really great service.

Fast service, great sandwich. Even had cold beer! Just the way it's supposed to be. Certainly will become a regular here. Edit.. came in today and it was a bit busy compared to last time. The guy that took our order was speaking too softly and REFUSED to raise his voice after my wife and I repeatedly said what?? To him. He looked like he was pissed he was working on a weekend. And they forgot my son's pickle. Strike one...

I got sick from eating a tuna sandwich.

Larry's Giant Subs prepares my favorite subs in Jacksonville. This particular store on Baymeadows is the smallest of the four I visit, but has a great friendly staff, always the same faces. They have never made a mistake with my favorite sub, which is a pastrami Reuben with two substitutions, which would make it a pastrami Rachel in South Florida. The sandwiches are overstuffed and luscious. Highly recommended!

Overall this location is alright.
If you re going to eat here, definitely go inside to order because the drive thru takes forever. And once you re in, there s no way out of the drive thru the way it s designed. When we finally got to drive thru window, our order was wrong. All that aside, the inside service is good. Fast, food is delicious. Very filling and tastes delicious! I think the bread is what makes it so good! I get a turkey sub, and the turkey isn t super dry like most turkey and doesn t take gross like cold cuts, tastes very fresh.

This place has a great design. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I loved.

Best subs around, good service. Only sub shop with energy drinks.

Every time I am back home in Jacksonville I eat here almost daily. Have lived all over the U.S. and there is no better pizza sub in existence than Larry's pizza sub. Please open a location in San Diego!

We are first responders that had been working all day and were looking for something to eat. When we pull up and go into order we were told that we needed to park in the back where sysco parks to make there deliveries that we couldn't park on the side of the building where they had no traffic and people could get in and out. The worker was really rude and they will not receive my business again.

Ordered an ultimate had so much mustard and Italian dressing the sandwich had no other flavor. NO PICKLE WEDGE!!!... LARRYS SUX NOW!!!... PICKLE WEDGE SHOULD BE AUTOMATICALLY GIVEN LIKE BEFORE!!... ALSO WHEN THWY ARE ASKING IF YOU WANT CHIPS/DRINK PICKLE SHOULD BE ADDED. DIDN'T GET A RECEIPT WITH THEIR NUMBER TO COMPLAIN!!!

Today I made a phone-in order and was less than happy with the customer service. There was no introduction for the company, or a name given of who was taking my order. After I gave my order, there was just silence on the phone...came to realize the phone was hung up without any additional questions or to clarify my order. When I arrived to the store, the first employee that saw me greeted me immediately, come to find out his name was James. James proceeded to help me checkout with my phone-in order and I couldn t help but notice the very disgruntled employee working next to him, no smile on her face and was less than enthused to be at work. Come to find out, her name is Tiara and this is who took my phone-in order. I finished checking out with James who was more than happy to accommodate me, even when I forgot to say I wanted my sub hot, he made feel like it was no problem. In fact, he told me ma am it s okay, we want to make sure your sub is right, just the way you want it. I was so taken aback by his delightfulness, especially after the rude phone call I had, I just had to inform James what wonderful customer service he had. I wish I could say the same for Tiara, hopefully something can be done for future customers that enjoy going to Larry s. I would ve rated this location a 1 had it not been for James with his outstanding personality and eagerness to joy customers.

Dirty and can't make a Greek Salad. Its just a squat and gobble.

Larry's is great for their meat quality. Sometimes they may rush your food and mess up your order so please be aware. The one on Southside is the beat of them all, and their Italian Beef is as close to the real thing in Chicago as I can find.

The guy taking my order, wish I had his name, was super patient. I don t like ordering for other people and while I had to text and call to clarify the orders, he was very patient while taking the order making sure nothing was ordered incorrectly. Very nice staff overall.

Pretty quick to get the food and I went at noon on weekday.
Ordered New Yorker , The Italian Big One , and The Killer . All were fantastic. Highly recommend warming the subs (even when they aren t hot subs). All were very filing.

The food was good but I cannot give this place any more stars because their lack of Baby Changing station is a slap in the face to families that choose to eat here.

Walked in to order a sandwich and cashier( fat girl) was extremely rude and upset when she noticed I didn't tip her due to her attitude. She turned around and told the sandwich maker something and they all started laughing, which seemed shady and is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional! I'm pretty sure they did something to my food and I walked out and returned my food because I felt like I shouldn't eat this sandwich. Sure enough when I walked in she told the other fat girl that "she's coming back", which consents to me they did infact did something to my food. The manager of this place need to look into those bias and nasty worker's of this place!

Always amazing food with great hot and flavorful sauces to add on. I tried their soup for the first time today. They have some good clam chowder... Although they forgot to bring it to me, so I had to go up and ask for it at the end of the meal. There was a new girl working there, so I have a feeling it was just a one time issue. Their selection of subs is amazing, although not necessarily the best if you don't like red meat. They will adjust the subs if you want something made a specific way, however. They even do custom subs, which I had not seen until today when my friend got one. Their ingredients are plentiful, good quality, and fresh.
They give military discounts and service person discounts, of 20% so that is a huge plus. I have never seen them overly busy, but they usually have a few people in there.

Larry's us always there when yea need them . Opens early and closes really late...great sandwiches!
