This is about the only restraurant open past 2 AM that isnt a big national chain. The late night staff is great too. I have no questions about the quality and craftsmanship of my sub with these guys--its always done right. I'd choose this first over anything else if the late night munchies call.

I suggest taking the time to look at your food before leaving. My boyfriend and I ordered chicken sandwiches. Mines was the chicken philly. Once we began eatting, we noticed the taste was a lil different. We opened our sandwichs and realized there wasnt chicken. It was a mix of chicken and I'm guessing turkey lunch meat...The majority of it was turkey. They should have gave us the option of getting a different selection of meat. Very disappointed, we shouldn't have been charged the price of the chicken meat, we should have been told that it wasnt enough chicken or given an option for something else. Very unpleasant.

Place is getting better all the time. Food is good and now they have a charging station for electric cars, a table to plug your phone in to charge and free Wi-Fi.

One of the best sub stations around. I live the Italian dressing they have it is by far my favorite.

This is my go-to shop when I'm craving a sub. Super clean restaurant, friendly staff, excellent customer service, and the best tasting subs this guy has ever had. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Good quality sub shop, I have not had a bad sub yet going there. I personally like the 8" ultimate.

Asked for pickles and got no pickles. Or even a bag. And their hot sub was cold as ice. Yuck.

I go to Larry's a couple times a month for a "Big Boss Man" philly cheesesteak. It's delicious and worth every penny.

The drivethrough can be a bit slow, but I like to think that's because they are making the subs fresh.

Larry's Giant Subs is always awesome and they have mastered consistency between locations so no matter where you go it's always great! Personal favorite is the Giant Delight (turkey, roast beef, provolone).

First of all the review is not for the food, the sandwich was decent. The one star (deserves zero stars) is for a female manager who was touching food and working in the kitchen with no gloves and with long nails painted in neon green. These were not just long nails these were more than an inch long nasty neon green nails. My first and probably last time there. Where are food inspectors when you need them?

Food was good. Not prepared as requested. Men's restroom was filthy!

The best Larry's, as it is their corporate headquarters as well. Excellent services, great subs. Love it!

Had a Philly Cheese steak it was ok, have had a lot better elsewhere. Nothing to rave about. Combo was $9 and some change. Customer service was overall good and friendly.

Not a bad sub for lunch. Place is very cluttered with way too many things going on inside. You kinda get lost in all of it.
Food is good so no problems there and that's the most important thing.

Worst experience I have ever had with any Larry's or sandwich place in general. Went through the drive through and had to repeat my order multiple times. I was over charged and when I got to the window and asked to have my order repeated the girl at the window didn't repeat it but told me they gave me the wrong price and it was "fixed."when I got home every sub that I order was made incorrectly. I then called the location to speak to the manager and was hung up on. I called back and a young girl answered the phone and told me she was a manager but then hung up on me. I called for a 3rd time and a different person answered who said they were a manager (that makes 3 different store managers) and said there was no corporate number for me to call. Finally found a 1800 number on the website and when I called no none answered. DO NOT EAT HERE. save your time, money and frustration. Horrible service amd horrible food.

Yummy fresh made to order sandwiches. And they have Chicago's famous Giardineria!

Service was fast and the restaurant clean. They sell meat and cheese by the pound. You can spend an hour looking at all the pictures on the walls. Do not forget to take a pic with Batman or the extra large Cong . The egg salad sandwich was great.

Fresh ingredients from a local farm. Each shop is independently owned so this location is one of best. The Baymeadows location is not up to par as far as cleanliness and ambiance. The Monument location makes their sandwiches consistently tasty. The Southside location has a great presentation of the LGS theme and the ambiance is right on brand too. Another plus is the drive-thru at the Southside location but they can't make a veggie sub the same way twice to save a life. The sandwiches are still good but depending on how/who is making it the sandwiches can be better. Good place if you are trying to eat healthy including meat and meatless healthy eating.

I didn't get a receipt and had to prove that I paid for a soda by going on my phone and showing them my charge on my credit card app. They accused me of lying before this. Sad.

The sandwich had a lot of meat but no flavor or cheese. I threw half of it away.

Love Larry's. Large menu. Friendly but slow service. Visit once a week. Recommend the Cuban, Chicken parmesan, and eggplant parmesan.

Stays open late and service is just a great. Food prepared in a timely manner and tasted amazing.

Out standing they make an INCREDIBLE lattice rap with lots of meat inside made PERFECT every time ....... if ur gluten free u must go here.... hubby is not gluten free so he gets his food ......were both happy

Food is great. Restaurant seems cluttered, staff indifferent. Good thing the sandwiches are my favorite.

Really good sandwich and really satisfied my late night craving. Service was good as well.

Place has great atmosphere. This location has a place to charge electric vehicles. It is a little tricky to get in and out of their lot due to size and location. Definitely a great lunch spot, esoecially for farm to table, locally sourced food.

Not at all NY style! My sandwich came with no mayo, lettuce, or tomato. They didn't even ask if I wanted any. I asked for it on hero bread and got it on a piece of pita instead. The prosciutto was terrible and way off in color and texture. What a disgrace to every deli in NY.

Food took me back to my upbringing on the Jersey Shore.

Meat on philly smelled bad like it was old. Woke up feeling fine after eating sub stomach hurting from lunch till bed. Wont risk eating there again. Also I did tell the manager. He said bring it back up for another sandwich or refund. Dont want either. Just dont like eating old meat. Check your ingredients everyday. Please

Best subs in town. Prices are higher than Jimmy Johns but taste and quality are far better. Jersey Mike's prices are about the same but selection is limited and few veggies they have are a lil on the sad side. Veggie sub at Larry's is fantastic! Was sceptical about it when my oldest child ordered it but had a bite and I was sold! The gyro is pretty good also. My youngest loves the Philly and The Animal. Soups are also sooo good. And can get a Mexican Coke in glass bottle cold. Yum! Staff is always friendly and chipper. Had a few mix ups at the drive thru but that happens at every place so not a huge deal to me. I order there about once/twice a week for my veggie sub fix. The inside is very eclectic and fun. They have charging for phones and even parking with charging stations for electric cars. My kids love that it is a Pokestop for Pokemon Go. Fun times! Highly recommend.

Stays open extremely late (until 3am), plus they have a drive thru option with tons of great hot/cold subs! For a first-timer such as myself, I'll definitely be back!!

Sandwich was delicious. A little expensive for a 'sandwich'. Guess you get what you pay for. It was good, and plenty filling.

THIS COMPANY IS NOW SERVING BREAKFAST! and you can build the best breakfast sandwiches ever! They have sandwiches with egg, cheese, your choice of meats, and you can add vegetables. I was working out a way to have good vegetables with my breakfast and have it make sense. Many mornings you will find me at Larry's giant subs, eating an egg and pepper jack cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mushroom, onion, green pepper, and black olive, I have this on a whole wheat roll with Italian dressing. Sausage, bacon, ham, and other meats are available too. You can engineer your own breakfast sandwich at Larrys giant subs. When you can order the ingredients YOU like, YOU can always get the best breakfast sandwich designed for your tastes..

This place is great too get away , fuel up and wind down. They have covered patios with a nice sky view, you can graze in when you need some air and space; I really enjoy sittting at these sections. Thier food is so Yummy! Their Food Selections Are Vast, they have something for everyone!

First time going to Larrys subs and I ordered the New York special. The food was amazing, the customer service was amazing. I would definitely reccomend this place.

$9.29 for a footlong meatball sub that looked & tasted unappealing when it came to the table...I'll stick with Firehouse Subs instead. Waste of my money.

I love Larry's. The food is great and they get it to you quickly. My go to for fast food. Good quality meats and cheeses as well.

I m fairly new to Jax and while driving around I saw this location & decided to give them a shot... bought an Italian Beef and a clam chowder. Being from Chicago, I was raised on Italian Beef so I definitely know what they are supposed to look & taste like. It was good but not great, they don t prepare it like the original, it s more of a sub... First it could definitely use more meat, plus they don t dip the sandwich but rather give a tiny cup of Au Jus to dip your sandwich which makes it more of a Arby s style beef sandwich, but it was still decent... The shining jewel at Larry s is hands down their Clam Chowder which is in my personal opinion, THE BEST CLAM CHOWDER EVER!!! ...Since my first visit here I ve comeback weekly for it. It is always good and always consistent. Only problem this location runs out of Clam Chower often. Best to go early in the day!!!!

What a joke. Larry's used to live up to the name. It should be renamed to Larry's (not) giant subs. The bread and meat all got smaller. Forget Larry's, go somewhere else. Publix is excellent

I ve heard such good things but after two bad experiences, I m probably giving up. Only lived in the area for a year and a half from NY, so I was told to try this place but I was disappointed to find it s nothing special. Plus, the staff couldn t care less after shorting you your bacon on your club (come on, guys)... so the search for a decent sub place continues

Seriously, everytime we come here we ask for the pickle since its only available upon request now, how hard is it to add the pickle? ?? Why is it that the staff can never put the pickle in your bag? Not to mention I asked for the pickle in the drive thru and I also asked when the lady gave our bag to us "our the pickles in here" , oh yes oh yes they are....... Of course another fail from the young staff!!!! Yall suck like seriously

Larry's has managed to maintain a high level of good quality over the years.

Messed up up my order. They forgot items on the sub. When they were asked to remake it they were super petty and put LOADS of the the toppings that were originally missing. Not going back.

My sandwich was delicious, so cool that they have such a large menu to choose from. The people there were super nice and helpful

This place is unclean and not good depending on who is working.

Best subs in Jacksonville and many of the ingredients are organic (but not in a fru-fru sort of way, just cleaner food than you get other places)

I went through the drive through I ordered a sausage and peppers sub with cheese and a cherry limeade and chips it was $12.60 which is expensive but it was delicious

Meh, it was ok. Place was really cramped and the staff was ... ok

Subs are ALWAYS on point and fresh!
Service is great !

Good food, but just a bit expensive. I paid over $22 for two 12" suns. However, if you've got the dough you should check it out. :)
