I'm from Chicago and this us 1st best Chicago Italian beef. I eat this sandwich at twice a week. Highly recommended

Favorite sub place. I love tge drive through option they have at this location which is surprisinglh fast for subs. Their bread is the selling point for me, it's sweet and not too chewy. My husband loves their hot subs but nothing beats the classic ham and cheese for me.

Whenever I work in Jacksonville I visit this sub shop. Larry's has the freshest, best tasting subs around. The staff are friendly, greeting you with a smile as you enter the door. The shop is always clean and orders are processed quickly. I tell all my coworkers to try Larry's.

Food is good but unfortunately I have to take two stars off because they always take an extremly long time to get it to you. Otherwise would be 5 stars

Update: DO NOT GET THE MEABALL SUB. It was the worst one I ve ever had. and I get them everywhere I go!

I have never had a misstep at Larry's. Meat is high quality as is the other ingredients. Bread is on point.Tried at least 15 different sammies. Not all in my rotation but all were tasty.

Favorite sub place, the bread is sweet and not crunchy (the best part for me) and the menu gives tons of options.

Decent place but the bread and some of the ingredients tasted like they just fell off a US Foods truck. Having said that, they are not the worst shop in town. However there are better subs in Jville.

So yummy! Clam chowder was wonderful with a bit of a kick. The Cuban was authentic and delicious on great bread. My husband's Philly had delicious seasoning to the meat and just what you want in a Philly. Service was quick and kind.

This is the best Larry s Giant Subs I have been too. They even have a phone charging station. Meatball sub with extra cheese is the best!

Hit or miss. I've gotten messed up orders, messed up allergy specific modifications, crazy long wait times at drive thru at off and on times. Staff is generally nice - the few veterans they have. However, most are totally incompetent-one easy example: forgot to take money for order several occasions. Lol. Food is good when right but not amazing to justify price. Drive thru screens can't see nothing. Called to complain and apparently there are no managers empowered to do anything about it-refer you to corporate number upstairs in same building and the incompetence continues. Solved problem and refund 10days later. But again 50/50 shot-you may get better quality and pricing w boars head from publix in back of plaza

Very clean, food came up before I even finished paying and picking my chips. The ambiance was all king Kong themed.

Worst experience ever. Don t know how to follow directions . Brought a sub twice and it was incorrect. Never will eat here again

love me some Larry's Giant Subs. My all time favorite is the Tuna Sub, no condiments, with lettuce, tomato, onions and banana peppers. I ventured out one day and got the Italian Hot One - I think i went back at least 3 or 4 times a week for over a month...yes, it was that good.

Very friendly staff. Very fast service for lunch. Great food.

Enjoyed a wonderful sub today at the Southside location. Honestly, the food is always great. The real reason for this review is James! He was running the register today and his positive attitude/smile was contagious. Sure is nice to be waited on by someone who is happy and enjoys what they are doing. Thanks James!

Delicious sandwiches... One of my favorite places to eat lunch!

Food is good, but environment of the store is disgusting, the smell of oil and grease found it in my clothes. It need use good exusted fans to get out this smell of frying oil.

This is a great convenient place for a quick Sub for lunch or dinner especially during the Corona virus if your trying to stay from going inside a restaurant. The Bomber sub taste amazing everytime!!!

The drive-thru was taking a very long time so I parked and went inside to order. They were fast and friendly and reasonably priced. A variety of flavors and toppings, most of which are free.

The only thing I'd say is they need to ask drive-thru customers who have particularly large orders to pull on through and park to bring out their order to them when ready, so the rest of us one- or two-sandwich orders can get through the drive-thru quickly.

Am above-average sub sandwich place with the most memorable architecture in the entire city, attentive staff, options of rye or flat wrap breads.

Always great flavor and just the right amount of condiments for the perfect sloppy sub. Love the toasted buns.

Freaking awesome subs. They are a franchise and this is the headquarters so there are extras. Chip and desert options are greater.

Not much meat. kinda skimpy . more bread and veggies then meat. NY style deli sandwiches should be heaping with meat.

This place is really cool... they added personality to a sub shop.they make a good sub but the experience is what would bring me back. The service was amazing and the staff was friendly. I had their giant italian sub which was really good. I would stop back again and have a sub.

Good Subs, good variety of meats and veggies to choose from. The location is great, very easy to get in and out of even in the really busy intersection.
The employees are above average, fast, helpful, and usually pretty cheerful.
The meats, cheese and toppings are always pretty fresh and high quality. Overall a nice place for a quick bite to eat.

I like Larry's Giant Subs from pretty much any of their locations, but this is the "home store" and it's awesome. Food is very good, great value, service is fast, and the employees are friendly. Recommended!

This is corporate headquarters and by far the best Larry's I've been to.

Great food. I have been eating here for a very long time for a reason. And they never disappoint. This location is my favorite bcuz if the cool stuff they have on the walls. Pictures, etc. And the huge life-like king kong

Prices are a bit high but the quality and taste is very good! Their Cubans are out of this world!

Very nice inside, they did a great job remodeling it. The sandwiches are always great and a great selection of sides and drinks to choose from.

The last two times I ve had issues with this location. My order was wrong and took 30 minutes to make.

This is the best Larry's I have ever visited. The shop is very large, open late, and has all the accommodations. They have EV charging spots, phone chargers, even mouthwash in the bathrooms. And, of course, the subs are fantastic!

HOLY MOLY! Larry's is the best sammich in town. TRY THE MUFALATTA SALAD is you like olives and vinegar. But on the side first. Enjoy

I've come to realize that any place that ends with Giant Subs is a place I want to eat lunch at.

Finally somewhere besides subway that has healthy options ! Update ! Used to love coming here but the staff's attitude could use a little adjusmltment. They act like it's a chore to serve you. Definetly lost a customer used to eat here 3 times a week .

While sitting here waiting on my food I witnessed the cashier wiping his nose with his hand and then touch the food with no gloves or washing his hands. The other employees acted like they we're playing basketball with trash. This used to be a nice place. I'm at the one on South side Blvd. Maybe the employees should be cleaning the front when not busy....its a mess. Why bother no supervision here just kids running the joint . So sad

While it's a little hard to get to given it's on Southside, you get very quick, very good service. Sandwiches are delicious and made fast, and don't let the prices fool you, odds are you'll end up with some tasty leftovers!

Decent subs. $21 for two sub meals seems really high. Unique interiors. My friend who is male said the other guest in the restroom was having a little too much personal fun so that seemed pretty gross. I like Jasons or Subway more.

Ordered a Philly from the main headquarters and it tasted like a frozen dinner. Gave it to my dog

Food was as good as it always is but the young lady that took our order was not very pleasant. She was not our right mean but clearly did not want to be there. We appreciate the quality of food Larrys always provides but the staff could have been better. The gentleman who brought out the food was nice and friendly, which is why I gave 4 stars.

It's ok.....a little bland.... the wait was extremely long

Worst location. 4th time over two years i have went to this location. I get a large veggie which is almost a 10 dollar sub of just there free veggies that you can get on any sub and they never make what i ask for they always forget like three veggies. Im pretty sure i should be able to customize a sub and get what i asked for. Baymeadows location is always on point and helpful. And three out of four times i brought my sub back up to the counter they acted lile it was my fault. I avoid this location like the plague

Service was great. Teller was super friendly. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup, it was fresh and tasty. However the original philly cheese steak sandwich was super dry. No enough cheese and sauce. A little disappointed i had to still eat it because i was in a hurry and got it to go.

No oil on my sub. No pickle just there. They only put mustard on my sub. Super bland

Good food & freshly made to order. A little on the pricey side.
