The modern exhibit is pretty bad but all of their more classic paiting are really nice, don't buy the food there it's extremely over price and one of the servers there name Pamela is extremely rude and really mean

Worth the visit. The outsides are nice for walking. There is Access for wheelchairs. You can find park on the streets or there is a parking right on the museum the flat rate was $16 per day. There are food stores and restrooms available for visitors.

Exciting museum that offers contemporary with classic art from the America's and around the world.

It is a place worth visiting, not only the works of permanent collections such as Picasso, Matisse, Kandinsky, but also regular and valuable exhibitions. Children also have free painting places. There are a variety of free music and art events on the outdoor venue.

LACMA. Beautiful museum. Museum consists of several pavilions and buildings. So take the time to see everything. When I was there, a number of important works by Jeff Koons were exhibited. Very impressive!

Most of the buildings are under construction. Only two floors of modern arts are on exhibition. And they still charge you 25 per person! It s a fraud.

The grounds are great. The art is fantastic. In the summer the have jazz and Latin jazz on the weekends, great to get a group together have a picnic and listen to some great music.

Spent three hours there. Gorgeous place. Outdoor sculpture is beautiful!! Came another day just to wait for the night the urban light lights up, it was amazing!

Sleek art museum near La Brea tar pits, which makes for a good day trip. Has a great diversity of art, though currently some exhibits are closed due to construction.

Not to be missed. Art works that some consider is better than the Louve.in Paris.

If you like art it's definitely a must go place in LA.

Stepping up the quality of a diverse amount of exhibitions

This is an art museum that you can enjoy in addition to art appreciation. The nearby food truck is also delicious.

Honestly didn t enter any exhibit but loved hanging around the museum gardens & the unique lights
Seems like a nice place to go to to enjoy your daytime during the weekends as it can be filled with food trucks & small outdoor markets

Good way to spend a few hours in LA. La Brea Tar Pits right beside it and the Grove a short walk away

Better to go at night time for the light posts but im not sure if the museum is still open til evening.

Yes, under construction and quite a few exhibits are closed for renovation but it s a great place to spend the afternoon especially if you re a LA resident- it s free after 3!

There was a really interesting exhibit in the Broad Contemporary Museum that showcased Chinese contemporary artists from Aiweiwei to Xubing..

Be sure to enjoy the cafe for a drink when the museum closes at 5 then make your way to dinner at Republique!

World class art, but skip the overpriced restaurants and cafes. Bring a picnic and sit at the outdoor tables or benches.

LACMA is simply not as good as other world class art museums, such as in New York or Philadelphia. The permanent exhibit is lacking and temporary exhibits are typically unfocused. The museum is racing to rebuild the entire complex, but they haven't figured out how to effectively use their current space.

That being said, LACMA attracts great travelling exhibits that are worth seeing. Their summer jazz nights are also a lot fun.

I was surprised at the depth and breadth of the collections here. There's a wealth of humanities best pieces of art. It will blow your mind.

It was very disapointing. More than half of musuem is close.

We spent a great afternoon exploring the modern art exhibits and a few of the more famous outdoor pieces. The price was totally fair, and I will be keeping close watch for any interesting temporary exhibits.

Absolutely amazing place with fantastic surrounding area. You could send days there walking around or visiting different parts of the Museum, filled with unbelieveable expositions. $16 a day for the underground parking. I hope to b dzie there again.

A lot of stuff to do and parking wasn't bad.
Also it's near to the farmers market to grab something to eat.

The giant rock was probably the best thing I liked. I went here with my 8th grade class today and most of the art was stunning. Some of the art looked like I could do it, for example the square inside a square IN DIFFERENT COLORS. The food is pretty overpriced. $3.00 for a coke bottle, the small ones. But overall great museum

Went of the free Tuesday. Came in time before it got packed. Great and helpful service

Great collection of art available to the public. LA county residents get in free after 3 pm!

My favorite date or solo Friday night out during the Summer in Los Angeles! Free jazz! Take a picnic and friends for a fun night out!

Docent and exhibits were great. Security staff and cafe personnel were VERY impolite to my students who were VERY well behaved. Can't you train your staff to be polite to children? May not return.

Such a wonderful, diverse collection, and the exhibits are remarkable.

I couldn t wait to see those turned on but I m sure that is great to see at night. But for to take pictures for sure with the day light.

A landmark that you should not miss going to. There is a designated parking space for visitors right across the museum. Its a bit pricey but totally worth it because you need the whole day to explore it. Although it might take you 3 days to really go through the whole museum. It was amazing! Well... for people like us

Very cool lots of nice exibits. Very colorful and good tour guides. They have really good food outside like in the food trucks.

My first time at the Museum and my kids and I loved it.

Half of the exhibits are closed right now for construction purposes. The ones that were open were wonderful though

So much to see! Loved the Rome exhibit and the street lights put front . Connected to the Tar Pits

It was too much to know that tar was known, but I visited the museum a lot and was constantly studying it.

Really nice with good Theater inside and really nice displays

Love this musuem! You need a whole day or two to see everything.

Surprisingly awesome, but try to time your visit up with a free admission day.

So many amazing artists represented in one place. It is rather large so if your going to try and do it all in one day start early and take a break. But every installation was awe inspiring. Take a moment to watch whatever film is playing in the dark room. You will know it when you find it.

Unfortunately if you're visiting at the time of this writing (December 2019), parts of the LACMA are closed for construction.

That being said you still get to see a decent amount of exhibits. There are a few that require you to wait in line so account for that when planning your trip.

Also if you bring a backpack, you'll be asked to wear it in the front on your chest rather than on your back.

Great place to spend a weekday with out of town visitors.

Only saw the outside, but there's enough art there to keep you busy for a while.
