BEAUTIFUL art by many artists! When I visited there were many original pieces by Picasso himself! It was enjoyabke to walk around and view some great creations and masterpieces. You can also travel right next door to the La Brea tar pits which are quite interesting indeed. Adolescents 17 and under are free. Adults I believe are around 20 dollars for admission to the museum. Its a great family day (or even a divine place for a date) 10/10 can't wait to go back

First impression looks kind of meh ground floor looks so so not very interesting. Though second floor was amazing

The air conditioning in the room cannot be regulated, I almost got sick. The shower water is not too strong or too hot. They charged me $ 13 to receive a DVD by mail.

Great place, many installations of outdoor art can be enjoyed.

$15 general admission but there are free days... A lot to see here, spend at least 4 hours to breeze through and you will still miss stuff, this is a several visits museum to see everything

Maybe the cost of living is high in LA. Tickets and parking are not inexpensive.

Lots of amazing originals (Picasso etc) but not a very handy map. You just have to sort of go into every exhibit and hope it's good. FYI the Broad section is not the real Broad, it's just the Broads section of LACMA. Be sure to check the website for days when locals get in free.

Great for the museum and the outdoor summer concert series

The most over bearing docents imaginable, do not visit with kids. Apparently they have an internal policy that parents cannot carry small children on their shoulders. They also freak out if kids are walking. Seriously?! They have a program in place to encourage parents to come with kids but then this is how they treat families.

You have to go here at least twice a year. Always a good idea to bring family and friends from out of town.

If you are in city of lights you must visit LACMA. Great Instagram photo shoots. This location is equally good during the day or when the lights are ON. Definitely capture the moments when the lights are ON. Wear contrasting colors for great pictures.

Parking in the lacma garage is $16 and the Urban Light exhibit is right on the street. Plan an entire day to explore the museum fully.

Many of the buildings are closed for renovation until mid 2020's and their collections are in storage. The summer jazz concerts are awesome. Bring your own food! The concession food it's pricey seems just ok. I liked coffee shop

Fantastic gallery with something for everyone, with an extensive modern art collection to an ancient Egyptian mummy, as well as a large amount of pieces from around the world, particularly East Asia. Eat lunch just across Wilshire Blvd where there is always a huge gathering of food trucks

Love this museum It is very photogenic and even interactive.
The 3D exhibit is also available, as well as the graphic design exhibit. You can spend 2-3 hours over here.

Not much going on for such a large museum - very small members only exhibition.

An excellent and expansive space with a very good collection across multiple buildings. I am keen to see what the new pavilion currently under construction will look like once it's completed.

Always filled with tourists, you can never get a clear picture with 200 light lamps but overall looks good

If you go to the museum, you must go to two places, lacma and getty.

Always an impressive collection. LACMA is busy and some of the patrons are even artlovers. I was hoping for Californian laureate, Wayne Thiebaud, but alas no.

Make sure to tell the art majors who you buy your tickets from that your college is within LA County or they'll charge you for the out of county price They "don't assume anything," except that you're out of county they'll assume that.
Other than that go whenever Guillermo del Toro is doing a thing here

Amazing place... highly suggested to go early. The La Brea tar pits are close by and totally worth checking out. A great all day experience.

So many things to see... although I couldn't get access to the Islamic art section due to renovations going on....but it was an amazing experience

Many different exhibits both free and paid to see. unfortunately the Guillermo del Toro exhibit was sold out, which bummed us out because that's why we went, but walking around the area alone was worth going.

Almost 50% of the museum is closed because of a remodelation they are doing and they charge you full price

Superb museum, very well located. LACMA is known throughout the world for its famous works. Its "Street Light" is an ideal spot to take souvenir photos.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I can't wait to take another pottery class. Los Angeles County Museum of Art is the perfect creative escape from a stressful workday. The atmosphere is friendly and open, and the pottery instruction is nationally known. Students get open studio time, so you can pop in and work on your own between classes. I'm so thrilled that I found this place!

Do not go save your money to both members and visitors!!! Members do not renew your membership as majority of the museum will close by next year only BCAM and Resnick Pavilion will stay open and even those buildings have temporary exhibits 4-6 months. The gallery attendants cannot answer your questions about membership/museum closure and have been told to redirect you to the box office if you don't believe me ask the gallery attendants/security.

Great exhibits. There is something for everyone. One section has pretty steep stairs, but an elevator is conveniently located.

Some of the exhibits were closed when we got here but they were really beautiful to look at. I would love to come here again. There is a lot to look at & appreciate.

Such a lovely space, indoors and out. I love the LACMA Lights and the open spaces are really calming and nice. The artwork inside is a good mix of periods

Amazing place. A mix of modern and classic art. Always hosts some of the best collections from all over the word. Wonderful architecture! In the heart of Los Angeles! Highly recommended for anyone visiting LA, living in LA, or in Southern California.

What a great time! The Jazz on Friday is a fun family hang, with a ton of people enjoying the music and each other.
