Very classical with some interesting spots
A few paintings and objects are worth of it. Complexity of the place mostly dedicated to classical art. Then you have another building dedicated to modern art, maybe not the most significant.
In the outside you may find a very big stone that you visit from above, as it is suspended on a big concrete corridor... Nice for the picture.

Nice place to take a break from shopping and sightseeing. Quiet and chill. The museum security takes their jobs real serious. Not very friendly. You touch it... They will come. Other than that... Great place to get your culture on and take IG photos

It was fun experience with my kids. They had Korean and Chinese and Japanese art exhibition. I am glad to let kids expose to those because they are Asian descents. I was not so impressed about modern art some were inappropriate for kids. Nice thing was that when I signed up for kids membership for free, you get weekend free admission for adults. We spent hours and got to enjoy summer Jazz concert next to museum. It is nice place to visit.

Art museums like these express the human moment in history. Every artist professional or amateur, young or less young, puts forth their emotions, conveying facets of what humanity is all about through opinion not conveyed by words, but by the dialogue of the art and the visitor. We are all just transitory beings on this world, yet what we save up in both physical forms and in memory lasts forever and ever.

When we appreciate art, we appreciate love, even if the art is hostile in tone and feeling, because even these artists knew that they wanted to express something that boils down to what vested motivations and desires that compelled them to create.

Los Angeles is very fortunate to have this fine museum. It is constantly improving itself and offers Angelenos a museum with many forms of art to suite everyone and programs for the young to learn about enjoying art.

It is conveniently located and often very busy on the weekends with people enjoying the permanent art and the special exhibits.

Wonderful collections! $16 parking is too much. Well laid out exhibits but overcrowding makes it tough to enjoy. Considering the price of admission, parking and time of day something better should be worked out.

So our students visited the Metropolis Car Exhibition which they loved the speed of urban life all put together in the fun filled exhibit funnily
Across the road from another famous car museum. Remember to go at the weekends so you can see everything moving and go and upstairs as well so you get a great view and experience from both sides.

I love LACMA. I remember when it was a fringe museum back in the early 90s. I think it is a crucial part of the Los Angeles cultural mosaic and their shoes keep getting better and better. Keep it going and I can't wait to see the new season!

The place you want to hang out forever! So many building with different exhibitions in each. And in-between you can relax at a sunny terrace with some coffee, or lemonade, or beer and wine. They have live jazz at the center of the campus, it's absolutely free and you can bring your own food and a bottle of wine. If you are not that into art, you would definitely be afterwards! The gift-shops provides cool stuff and many books on art and architecture, both for those very much involved and those somewhat interested.

Fun!

Great place to take pictures at the front of the public lights. However it s very crowded. Went during evening. Can park car in front of the lights quickly and enjoy the view otherwise you have to do paid parking. Your pictures will still have people in the background.

We spent the whole afternoon here and couldn't see everything, but hey, that just leaves some amazing art for next time. free admission, $20 to park, but the experience is well worth it, especially coming from someone frugal like me, haha. All in all a wonderful place!
