Not much to see, except to see people taking selfie

Located within a large park, the LACMA is definitely worth a visit for the permanent collections and for the multitude of events that are organized there

One of the greatest museums in the country. Always something new to see! Ask about free nights and free tickets for parents & children. Always stop by when I'm back in my hometown.

Outstanding collection of art. Wonderful for children & parents to enjoy. Restaurants and outdoor seating make it possible to have a leisurely visit it desired. The Robert Rauschenberg show which is currently
on exhibit is fabulous and a once in a lifetime experience.

A world best art museum - what else to add? Nice park nearby, as well.

Frank Gehry exhibit is amazing. Very much worth the trip. While you are there sign up to see the the James Turrell installation, Ganzfeld Experiment. Wonderful.

Wonderful place to go regardless of of you're touring LA or just looking for something to do.

It is unreasonable to increase the fare but close more than half of the venues due to renovations.

Place that has become emblematic to go and meet at any time of the day. It has a special magic for bringing together locals and foreigners. An excellent opportunity to have fun in a unique way.

Great place for the family. Has many free activities including concert music and painting for children.

This place is huge. So much to look at. Easily kill 4hrs looking at the various art collection.

Many exhibition parts were closed (04.2018) nevertheless we had to pay the full entrance fee.

I work in the area and love stopping by for lunch and walking the grounds. Rotating exhibits are good. Taco trucks across the street are an added benefit.

Came to realize this museum is not as kid friendly as I had hoped. My kids are very tame, but security felt the need to hush them at every breath. Disappointing. Also, there was only ONE thing that was specifically present for them to do, paint on paper in a room separate from everything else. Hoping for more child friendly exhibits in the future.

The best museum in the west, very complete tries to share many types of world art

A must see experience if you're in the area. Its a great way to spend an afternoon. Don't skip this place.

Came here for the first time on a Friday night at around 9:30 to check out the lights. It was surprisingly crowded, lots of people taking photos. There were a couple professional photo shoots going on and people taking selfies. The atmosphere was festive. We were lucky enough to find street parking across the street. Someday I'll actually enter inside the museum.

I really like that place because it is a park where many families visit it and it is a very healthy place where you can walk with great confidence

Beautiful Artwork, the Rain Room, Street Lights and Lovely Grounds!!

$15 regular admission, but still need to pay extra to go in special exhibits, like the Rain Room. Children under the age of 17 are free. California residents with CA ID get in for free after 3 pm daily. The line was super long. Highly recommend that you purchase the ticket online the day before. We ended up purchasing the dual membership for $110 with 1 special exhibit free and get in to the Rain Room for $10 each person. We could go back the whole year with the membership. With the membership...if the other member is not going, that member could bring another person in for free got the whole year.

LACMA was such a fun place to visit. If you have children, definitely take them to the Boone Children s Gallery. They can paint, draw, read books, or just hang out, and it s all free, even for adults! Children under 18 can also get a free membership to LACMA that s valid until their 18th birthday. Each child can also bring an adult for the day for free.

I wasn't sure I would enjoy myself but it was extremely worth it. Not only did I have a great time but so did my kids. I will be suggesting this as a fun things to do to all of my family!

The museum is great, the staff needs to lighten up a bit. I have kids and they make it obvious very time I go that they are following us. I hope that LACMA can class up the staff a little bit to match their museum.

A large variety of beautiful art. A must see museum

A beautiful place to take pictures both day and night.

I watched the show called "levitated mass" and had to go see the exhibit. Very awesome !

A lot of great pieces of art and a beautiful architecture. I love the Japanese pavilion especially.

Youth meeting place to take photos of the 200 lampposts of the twenties. The museum I have not seen. I know he has works by Picasso. The whole area is very beautiful and worth visiting.

Very informative the staffs Linda and Fely are so friendly and tell us more about the displays and showed us around. I will come back again and bring my friends.

It's so beautiful, from the outside. Unfortunately I got there at a time it closed. But, if the outside was that amazing, I can only imagine how the inside is!

havent been here in years but it was always really pretty and lots to do around.

If you are under 18 years old you get in for free, so get yourself down there. They got every type of art you could imagine of, and the museum itself is located in a calm part of town surrounded by various other museums like the Peterson Automotive museum and The La Brea Tar pits. Will definitely be comming back.

Interesting art! I think we need at least three days to see everything. Kids are free with Next Gen

I enjoy geometric patterns and simple vibrant colors. There were a good number of pieces I liked.

Some of the most current collection of innovated modern art. Great live Jazz outside on the plaza every Friday eve.

Very cool and informative. Mostly free, with the exception of museum entrance.

Art!! What more is there to say. Love the history of it all and my family enjoyed it to!

This place is great to walk around. Don't forget to check out the different buildings and floors.

If you are visiting LA, be sure to take in the current exhibits at LACMA. You will not be disappointed.

It's a nice place to go at night and watch the lights, take some pictures.

3 stars because they didnt let me finish eating the painting samples

The " Urban lights" are always a must see destination when visiting the "La Brea Tar Pits" if you walk around the grounds you will find other worthy photos opportunities as well.

A lot of pretty bad art works if I dare to call them that
