A large granite that has been transported for $ 10 million in shipping costs is a photo spot.
I recommend it to go with the family is very beautiful and a safe place
Can't do it all in 1 day. I would probably need a second day just to get to tour the museum and see everything- it's that huge! I especially liked that the day I visited, there was a band playing outside. So while I had my sandwich and Coke from the little restaurant, I got to jam to some live music!
Kids, don't climb on the street lamps- security will yell at you.
Only 2 exhibits open. Was not informed or else I would not have wasted my money or time.
Didn t have a large or insane selection, but was definitely a cool visit. Not a must see, but had a good selection of places if you want instagram photos or snap stories!
Great exhibitions and staff! Overall a fun time for the whole family.
Great for adults, a few fun activities for kids.. Best to drop the kids off at the tar pits with a baby sitter (or bribe the wife/significant other).
Very disappointed. Google said it was open. We dove over an hour to find out it was closed
Really cool exhibits and very famous works of art. You will need a plan before you go since the museum is so big.
Fantastic museum with a good mix of modern and old world art
Really a strong experience. Anyone in the world should visit this museum to learn what has been actually holocaust. Very well done !
A museum that gives the at space and doesn't cram hundreds of people into a tiny space.
Good place to have a walk at night, sometimes they have singers which add a lot of exciting atmosphere. Recommended
Beautiful grounds. Great variety of art. Food was delicious@the cafe... But a bit pricey.
Dont let the rock drop on your head it periodically falls to catch tourism
Lovely place , architecture and art over all , a must stop for anyone visiting the city
Amazing place for a county museum. Full of amazing art and food, bars and entertainment.
La brea tar pits r n will always be a very intriguing outing for any age group .
Amazing for an evening out, especially if you enjoy photography!
Date night "Illuminating" evening imprinted in our with my German Naranjo.
Sometimes you can snag street parking on Sundays for free with a short walk. Always nice coming here especially on Sundays late when they have a free classical concert at 6 p.m.
A very contemporary place to enjoy with the whole family
Continually getting better. Great for jazz in the summer and a few great pieces in the permanent collection. Pleasing spaces. I have to admit my favorite are the views around the grounds. Great cocktails at the bar.
Fun. Family friendly. Picnics. Music. Great for dates.
My teenager said this was his favorite museum visit. Big, beautiful buildings were empty at 10am on Saturday. We only had an hour, so only saw a few exhibits but they were exceptional. Of course, it helped that our entrance was free due to reciprocal membership with the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
Many exhibits were closed..?? The few things that we saw were cool , but there wasn't much to see
Great art and new building and exhibits coming in 2023!!
They did not have many art that was interesting. Also it's super hot in there. There is need for air condition and also it's smells kind of funny inside the buildings!
The greatest place to go....especially during a heat wave
It was my first art gallery experience and a good one at that, it feels surreal to see works from artist that are known around the world. Whether theyre sculptures or paintings.
Interesting Exibits For All To Appreciate The Human Talent,Creation And Expression.
LAMA is in a class of it's own when it comes to above par museums. Not stuffy. . A fun place for ALL to enjoy. From the novice who likes pretty things to the Grand connoisseur of fine art. Great for everyone
Great museum with a wide, varied collection. Be sure to check out the outdoor sculpture collections as well as the nearby La Brea Tar Pits.
LACMA is a museum that wonders who it is for. We find everything but without much consistency. American modern art, the Florentine renaissance, impressionists, Flemish masters, Belgian surrealists. But all this is as if the creator of the museum did not really know what he was doing. In short, it is quite suitable for customers who are mainly Asian and American.
The museum loses 1 star directly by volunteers who have not learned to be pleasant. "Safety first" gives an opportunity to the most frustrated to behave like narrow and stupid police officers. They must not have frequented many museums in the world to have this kind of reaction.
Great place for showing kids about history an walk and some fresh air, plenty of kids activities.
Really really big, good mix of different kinds of art. Layout is fun
It is usually enough to listen to a picture here for 20-30 minutes. Parking is more difficult. It s crowded, and Joe needs a good angle to not be able to take pictures of the people next to him.
Beautiful place packed with people in evening. Tourist attraction.
If you love art - this is a must see when visiting Los Angeles
So much art in this beautiful Museum, its unequaled by far. The biggest museum in the Western United States, a tour worth taking. We spend the whole afternoon there - simply breathtakingly amazing in every way - so much art, next time we will dedicate a whole day. Many phenomenal spots for photo opportunities as well - masterpiece after a masterpiece #losangeles #LACMA must see
Security there is mean and they don't even let u get close to the base of the light
For 25 bucks you get an all day experience! Picassos are incredible, and check out the food trucks for sure
Spectacular collection! I need to return several times to take it all in.
