This is a very nice resort. A little on the expensive side for me, but worth the money if you looking for a little luxury. Staff is friendly. The Spa services are very nice. You can also visit The Chopra Center on property for some spiritual revitalization too.

I ll say that while the Omni is a beautiful resort, it s rooms and amenities felt a bit lackluster. The food was amazing, thought I didn t eat at the resort much. The market prices were very high for snacks and various toiletries. My room was very spacious, however, I was placed next to busy construction work for my month long stay which was a bit annoying to be honest, especially as I had to wake up very early most mornings. My bathroom was clean upon arrival, but after a few weeks that began to change. My hot water began to take much longer to turn on, and my toilet eventually stopped flushing. Maintenance took upwards of an hour to even get to my room to fix it. I found many, many spiders crawling around my room, which was unsettling. Perhaps the worst thing was that one night, we needed a rollaway bed. We were charged $25 for it, and every night for the 4 weeks we stayed we were charged for it. It was only there one night. Otherwise, my stay was pleasant. I certainly would stay again here, but hopefully by then the cleanliness could be improved a bit.

The Omni La Costa is a huge resort with several pools, a golf course and tennis courts. It is a great place for families, with all the pools and water slides. There are several life guards on duty at the pools so parents can rest assured that their children are safe. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. There are several staff on golf carts to help you get arround. Overall a great place to stay.

The Hotel is Great! We went there, and since we had stayed in Holiday Inn the night before I expected it to be horrible! But it wasn't, and we got a great night's stay. The rooms were wonderful, the food was a bit bland but the appetizers were great! Also the waterpark and slides looked fun, and it seemed like a lot of kids were having fun too. The pool was great though it was a little odd that the outsides of the pool were 3 ft, you couldn't dive though. Then, the beach scene was great for relaxing and children under 5. The beach was only 2 ft. deep, so it was like the beach. The rooms were comfy ,and the stay was great!

Poor value. I agree that this resort is over priced and over rated. Got a simple room and 2 day spa passes, and was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the hotel and spa were absolutely beautiful, but not grand, as I was expecting from the prices. Rooms were nice, but overall the rooms were nothing too special. Dinner at the Bluefire Grill was delicious. Spa was really nice, but again, expensive.

Visiting Family in Carlsbad and dining at the Omni La Costa Restaurant go hand in hand. Sitting out on the veranda over looking the golf course is always charming. The food is varied of choices and always served with style. The food and view are worth the visit. I think that the service needs to be stepped up. Waiters did not listen to requests and bus boys poured water like Niagara Falls.

The room excellent, comfortable with a huge bath tub. Unfortunately our shower didn't work so well. The reason for the sub par rating is due to value of services which forced us to cut our 2 day trip down to one. The weather wound up being cold and overcast which eliminated the resort's only truly free commodity, the pools. When looking for things for us to do on the resort itself, which shouldn't be a problem after paying $300 for a room, the cheapest thing was a $160 per person for a 50 minute massage. We wound up checking out early and spending the money elsewhere where the value of the dollar went much further. We don't plan on going back.

This is definitely one of the nicest resorts in Southern California. I'm there on a weekly basis and I've never been treated poorly by any of the staff. They're all very professional and polite. The facilities are top-notch, the food is amazing, and there's always so much to do especially for young kids. The people complaining about how everything is overpriced don't have the right to. Assuming you did at least minimal research about the place, you should realize nothing is going to be cheap. Really good location as well! Love the place and I will continue going there.

This place is a family favorite. Kids ran up the big water slides at least 100x per day. Plenty of room for them to run around. The large 2 bedroom rooms allows a space for mom and dad to relax and have a drink when the kids go to bed.

Omni La Costa is the perfect location for weddings & special events. I have been the DJ for many amazing events here...from small weddings to large corporate events & fund raisers. There are many ballrooms to fit any size crowd and the new event center will be even more amazing. There are beautiful outdoor areas for wedding ceremonies & cocktail hour.
We have stayed here a few times. The rooms are very nice and the service is top notch. The adult pool area is beautiful with vanishing edge jacuzzis. The kids pool area includes water slides.
These pictures are from the wedding we did here 3 days ago.
I highly recommend...one of my favorite locations.

The resort was very nice and overall was clean. I enjoyed the pool for the La Costa rooms, but I didn't try the main pool so I can't say how those were. The hotel restaurant, The Vue, had good food, but the environment was horrible. The decorations were cheap, but more importantly, there was no organization at all. Our server was very good, but she was overwhelmed with the multitude of families and groups around the restaurant. The worst part of the restaurant was the constant scream or cry of kids running around. Don't get me wrong; I'm totally fine with kids, but when they are bumping into your table and yelling in your ear, you go crazy!

We checked in yesterday and were not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. We have since been contacted by the director who has kindly offered to move us to another room and refund our first nights accommodation. Excellent customer service. I am changing my review based on the way they handle customer complaint's and go above and beyond to rectify issues. Thanks.

I enjoyed the dining at VUE and particularly loved the Season of Smoke menu that's their current offering for the quarter! Don't skip the burger or the duck fat fries. They make their own honey and have an herb garden onsite. It's a More

A beautiful, relaxing vibe that feels more like condo life than hotel. Beautiful grounds. The room interior is a little outdated but could be considered charming. The rooms are generously sized. Very kid-friendly.

Went to the San Diego Aviators Tennis Tournament last week, and last evening. Hosted by Omni La Costa Resort, the Omni La Costa Resprt has supported the Aviators for as long as I can remember.
My colleague and friend, Joe Cipriano, was the MC. He brings the vocal magic to the event.
The resort itself is magnificent! Uptown, classy, accommodating, and friendly. All the perks, all the luxury; everything you'd expect from a first-class resort.
I had a wonderful time! Hope to see you there next year! Go Aviators!

I personally have never stayed there, but I am a rideshare driver, and every single person I've ever picked up from this resort(which is in the hundreds, at least) is beyond happy with their experience here. I seriously have never come across a rider that was unhappy with their stay. In my opinion, that's pretty amazing.

Soap scum on shower head, large carts and dumpster activity between 6-630 am, oversold, so some people in the group only got sleeper sofas, most food was cooked beforehand, and some even served cold, definitely not made fresh. Dirty finger and handprints in halls the whole stay.

Such a beautiful golf course and resort. I played the Champions course, which was very challenging. It was in great shape for mid winter. The food and amenities within the resort are top notch. Great place resort to bring kids. They have an incredible pool area with a couple water slides.

The golf course, spa, restaurants, and shops are very good. The rooms vary. The property gets over crowded. During summer holidays and weekends, you can't get a reservation for dinner, at the spa, nor get a space to sit at the pool. Once I was there and there were many people putting towels down on the concrete and grass in the pool area.

This was a horrible visit. There were mosquitos everywhere. Couldn't enjoy any amenities. The staff was apologetic, but in no way proactive. They coyld have handed out bracelets, and or repellent. They could have made me aware at the front desk. A heads up would have helped. Then upon check out there were issues with the bill. This was accompanied once again with an apology. That is why this shall be known as the SORRY STAY. I will probably not return.

We stayed here as a group while participating in a local soccer tournament. We started in the 500 section. The rooms are laid out like a typical hotel room but are about double the size. Our rooms had patios that faced the pool which was nice. There are multiple pools on-site. The main pool has a couple of water slides and the kids had fun swimming. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is a Peet's marketplace to get coffee or you can purchase snacks etc. The brunch buffet is a good deal for kids at $15 but a bit pricey for adults at $30. We didn't golf but the course looked great. I'd recommend staying here if you are traveling as a group or for a relaxed vacation.

Went here with a friend for a spa day. It was amazing! The treatments were wonderful and the spa and pool areas offer many options for relaxing and enjoying drinks and snacks with a friend. Can't wait to go back!

The resort was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Everything was very nice and there were plenty of amenities. The only drawbacks were: (1) we were on the second floor and the people above us walking around created a lot of noise (floors didnt seem to be very well sound insulated), and (2) the pool area was not very well kept up the second night (trash, dirty towels, fire pit was not turned on), which was unusual because the first night the pool area was spotless.

Attention La Costa Golf-

If you want locals to fill your openings then I suggest you keep the offers on Golf Now to $65.00. Mathematics will show you $65.00 is better than a $0. You give us a last second choice (say 24 hours) and you'll find we fill them for you. There are great courses all over our county and all far below $65.00. Use you head, post more openings at $65.00 and fill your spots.
