Beautiful boutique shops in a gorgeous setting. The atmosphere was wonderful for a wellness retreat. Lovely grounds and peaceful atmosphere. Next time I come I'll give myself more time to try the restaurant and shop the boutiques.

Our family enjoyed this resort very much. The experience was nice. Overall very beautiful resort. Our kids loved the pools, slides and s'mores too. This was our first time staying at this resort so we had no idea what we're booking. From very beginning our first impressions we're WoW this place is nice. We pulled in before check in time, so we had couple of hours to walk around before we got our room . The lobby was beautiful, the view of golf course from the lobbys windows we're picturistic. The garden area and the pools around garden are 6 stars. And then we got our room... Wich conveniently where in the building 900 which is not only the opposite side of resort, it didn't even look like it belong to this resort. Different class for shure. 1/2 mile apart literally, 3 star rating for this side. The landscape and exterior looked neglected on this side. And then there's this parking situation. Every time we took a 1/4 mile hike to the lobby people shared their frustration with this situation. Self parking in the dirt is $24 a night and in our case .4 miles away. On top of that there was construction going on under our room. Monday morning 8:30 am chainsaw is running full blast. Tuesday and Wednesday again construction is blasting loud at 8:30am on the dot. Finally the rest of the week was quite. Besides few frustrations I must give this place a second chance, preferably a room somewhere centrally located.

Omnia La Costa is a beautiful place perfect for a relaxing day, fun family day, the staff is really nice and the food at the restaurant is delicious, a little Oasis not so far away from downtown.

The rooms were small and not worth the cost. Also charged a resort fee that was basically useless. The parking lot was in the dirt. This place is not what it used have a reputation for being. Maybe in the 1950s it was beautiful, but now it's a 3 star hotel at best.

Beautiful Hotel! Billing nightmare! A short stay that should have cost $701.70 has posted nearly $2300 on my credit card. I have been attempting to work back with the La Costa Resort and have been given the run around. I have left messages with the Corporate Offices in Dallas to no avail. WATCH YOUR STATEMENTS!!! The concierge team were wonderful. They suggested fabulous restaurants off property and made all the reservations for us. They even facilitated mailing a package for me after the front desk manager told me they didn't provide mailing services to guests and gave me the address of the nearest FedEx locations. The Vue Restaurant Manager Brian Castan was wonderful. He even offered a bottle of wine, on the house, after hearing our stay was less than positive. (He was the first person to offer any kind of concession for our troubles.) That was our first and last experience with an Omni Hotel.

La Costa Hotel and Spa was one of the best hotels in the world between 1974 and 1993 but now tennis has taken a backseat to everything else and there's no longer the golf tournament of champions, in fact there's no tournaments of any kind, so its just another ok upscale resort. The Spa used to be world-renowned and now it's just okay in my opinion. The hotel has been renovated for the 4th or 5th time and the restaurants are all good and they have a small gym. The pool is probably one of the highlights and the golf courses. If your a golfer this is definitely a great resort to visit. If you're a family looking for a quick weekend getaway with the kids you will love it. The pool has water slides that you normally only see at a waterpark and the adults will have fun with plenty of food and libations along with a DJ playing music at the pool. They also have Jacuzzis outside of the main bar that you can sit in at night overlooking the golf course. Some of the rooms are very nice and some are not so good.
