This is a great location. Just whish they have more food of campus.

Disappointed at our recent visit to this spa icon. They were understaffed. Facility was run down. Outdoor spa not working. Indoor spa was not warm and was deteriorating. Loud tree trimming and shredding happening across the resort. The only good thing was the massages. We didn't stay to use the facilities after our treatments. And we had planned to stay all day.

This place was amazing to its great customer service to the good food and drinks but in the main pool their is to many people

Went here to the spa for the day and a massage. The spa was amazing and setting was beautiful. The massage was so-so.

We came back to stay at Omni La Costa for an early anniversary celebration. The room had an amazing view overlooking the golf course. The attention to detail was spot on. The pool for the kids is children's paradise. Definitely a place to come back to.

The location is probably the nicest of any family resort in the Omni portfolio and close enough to LA and SD to have plenty of options to keep everyone entertained. The facilities are top notch which includes several heated pools, awesome golf course, and beautiful landscapes. Skip the breakfast buffet (unless it a volume eater) and order a la cart- the blueberry pancakes are to die for and the steak and eggs are out of this world. Kids under 5 eat free. My only complaint is that the rooms need a bit of an update. Nothing to complain too much about but you can tell they are getting a little worn. My comparisons are with the Omni Dallas downtown and the new Frisco hotels.

We came here for a celebrity golf tournament. Wow, what a beautiful resort!

2 great golf courses - Awesome Hospitality staff - beautiful setting

We checked in about an hour ago and have been very disappointed. There wasn't anyone to greet us, there was zero help available or offered for our bags and the front desk was not very friendly or inviting. When I made the reservation, I confirmed that there was room service as this is the highlight of the stay for my children. When we called to order we were told that it was unavailable. It is a treat for us to be able to do something like this and to spend $500.00 on next to nothing with very minimal accommodations, is very disappointing. We will not be staying here again.

The grounds are beautiful. The place is maintained and very clean. My room overlooked the golf course and it was very green. The pools were a bit cloudy, probably due to excess salt, but we still nice to swim in. The water slides are for 36" and up or the two bigger slides 48" and up. It would be nice if there was one more slide for 42". All in all, the place was nice. I would stay there again if I got a stellar deal. But I can't justify the cost of the rooms.

What a great hotel in such a great area. Very close to the beach wonderful views. I had an event here and the staff and venue was so great. My customers were so happy with the show. Hotel has all the amenities and great rooms. Can't wait to go back!

We got upgraded to a larger room that was last renovated in the 80s, smelled like mildew.

We had high expectations for this hotel but were very disappointed when they failed to deliver on so many fronts.

Check in - a total zoo and disaster. People pushing and shoving all over the place to grab a golf cart. I arrived with my two toddlers and elderly father only to get shoved out of the way by two older women who we re standing at the valet claiming they had been waiting for 30 minutes. I heard this repeatedly by many angry people waiting in the valet line.

Room - nice room but very stinky smell coming put of the shower drain. This alone will stop me from coming back. Whenever the shower turned on the whole room smelled of nasty foul sewage/mildew.

Pool - this resort is also a club membership and apparently it is very oversold. All of the pools were wall to wall people. We were there for 3 days (left one day early with a fully paid room because it was so bad). The worst part is if you get there after noon, there are no chairs left. When we got to the pool around 11, my kids and I we had to put our bags on the side of the jacuzzi. When a chair finally opened up, it was the three of us on one chair for the rest of the afternoon. The same thing happened on day 2. On day 3 we purchased a cabana rental. It was slightly better but the woman taking care of us was not to be seen very often and we had old food trays in our cabana the whole day. Oh, and to top it all off, most if not all of the pool chairs are stained with bird poop.
We also noticed that kids go largely unsupervised in the kid pool. Throughout the weekend there were young kids in the Jacuzzi without their parents.

Food- long lines and wait times for everything. One two occasions we waited over 30 minutes in the coffee line. This is not ideal when you have two young children with you.

Bottom line: Spend your money elsewhere.

Excellent guest and visit experience. Rooms have little niches that could be fixed, like towel bars at the sink and hooks outside of the shower....

The resort is wonderful. Only the best quality accommodation with wonderful service.

Top-notch amenities, views and service at this hotel. The grounds are immaculately kept. Everything is easy to get to and clearly signed. And the staff is accommodating to all extent.

Booked the la Costa suite and was disappointed by the musty smell and dated property. Wifi didn't work fast enough to stream video which was a huge problem with two toddlers. For basically the same price, the park Hyatt aviara just up the street is truly a 5 star experience. Will not be staying here again.

Hard to find the conference room, but once we found it the experience was a great one!

Beautiful Place to getaway from the noise. The Double queen bed with pullout bed room had a stinch to the room. The breakfast was over priced and the food has no flavor or texture. Fresh squeezed orange juice was the best part of the meal and the servers were trying their best

Best food I've ever eaten at a convention. Room was amazing and the bed was super comfortable.

We got a suite and it smelled like mildew or sewage tinge like the drains were backed up. But we were so tired we didn't change rooms. The Internet is spotty even with the high-end Internet. This place has gone downhill. What used to be a nice resort is now a run down, uncared for place. The rooms are dirty, there was no hot water, and things were broken in the room. The nicest thing about this place is the valet staff. The pool staff rude and loud it's not a peaceful resort talked with management seemed more like mean girls click ...then genuinely concerned of spa and hotel guests. I was brushed off with my sharing experiences and concerns $$$ boo no costumer service

Plenty of other resorts to stay in on the area.

The golf course is pretty much my back yard. It's always beautiful and green. The wedding venues are also gorgeous and very professional if you want something a bit posh.

I had dinner at Vue, one of the restaurants at the resort. The view, food, and service were amazing. I would definitely return.

Great location, but getting there is hard...heavy traffic, even during weekend.

This hotel is an absolute scam, booked a room weeks ahead for a family vacation and got an email 2 reservation saying that they overbooked and my reservation was cancelled. I was instructed to call for further info. My thinking was the hotel was going to offer me something due to their error and inconvenience to my family since now I have to try and scramble to try and book another hotel at the last minute. To my absolute shock, not only did they not offer me so much as a discounted price on a future visit, but the lady on the phone was absolutely as rude and u can be and didn't even apologize for their error which has essentially ruined my family vacation as now all the decent hotels are all booked. I would NEVER trust this hotel with reservations and will be spreading the word to everyone I know including my family, my company (multi-billion company), and all my customers, not to book rooms at this hotel.

Valet service was rude but other customer service was better

I was here as part of a wedding crew and the staff of the resort were very pleasant to work with. Nice hotel with some visible signs of age, but nothing to detract from the experience too much. Overall it was a good event.

Was a great experience. Treated like a king as soon as you come through the door. Rooms are great. Spacious, clean, large bathroom. Service was great.

On the positive side, the grounds are lovely, the food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The workout facility was quite good, with lots of treadmills and other machines, free weights, and classes. On the other hand, the housekeeping was only so-so (didn't leave replacement coffee pods, no room service menu, etc.). More annoying was that they ran out of hot water one morning as I was trying to take a shower.

On the whole, though, I enjoyed my weeklong stay for a business conference. It looks like a good place for families with kids too.

I stayed here while attending a conference in MARCH 2018. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. I received tangerines and bottled water on arrival for me and my family. Definitely a plus after the long ride. The children enjoyed the water slide and pools. The restaurants on site were great. Our room was a one bedroom suite and an outdoor table and chairs overlooking the golf course. We really enjoyed our stay. We ate at Bob s steakhouse and VUE. Again, our accommodations were amazing. Friendly and helpful staff. Will be coming back again.

I attended a charity ball at the Omni La Costa Resort and Spa. I was very unimpressed with the food and the service. The salad was great, the rest, not so much. Dried out filet mignon, lobster tail that tasted like bad fish and potatoes that I have no words to explain. The wait staff were also lacking. After the mean, crab was bright out to the tables. Then there were random deliveries of dried out flourless chocolate cake, coffee and sugar. I sat with cream and dry cake for 45 minutes while the tables all around our got their coffee. I asked for coffee and it was another 15 before they finally came to our table. Then I still had to wait for sugar. I was pretty disappointed, as were many other attendees that I spoke to. I would definitely avoid having a function here myself.

I went there for a work event. It was difficult to find the event. Also hard to find parking.

I will preface this by saying I am a Long time fan of Omni La Costa. But this last trip... is/was the worst!!!

1. I walked into my room at 4:30pm and was met by a bare mattress, bedding crumpled up in the corner & pillows on the floor. The telephone in the room didn t work so I had to use my cell to ask front desk for another room. They said there was nothing Else available and that they d have my room available in an hour or two, leaving me tired after travel with no where to go. But as compensation, would give me $100 resort credit.

2. This room is a villa room and it has a small shared private entry way to another room. Granted, I think it s designed for guests that want to add an extra room to their suite. But it means all entry and exiting can be heard. Additionally, the guests next door had people obnoxiously knocking on the shared doors at all hours of the night, a dog barking, and they would leave their room door open to the entry way so I could hear all the tv and video game noise. I called front desk again to ask for a room change and they finally obliged. But honestly, shouldn t that have happened the first time when they gave me an unprepared room?

3. They lost my pool cabana reservation so now my party of 6 has to fight for pool chairs.

Omni La Costa, I was going to come back regularly but after this... I m not so sure. My trip is still in progress. I have one more night... here s to hoping it gets better. *fingers crossed*

We loved staying here and will go back. The staff was very professional and made feel very welcome. Bob's restaurant was great as was the place we are breakfast. We played golf and had a great time.

Amazing hotel! By far the best I have ever stayed in!! Very beautiful!

Stayed in room 983 on Mother's Day. Service and food is excellent (at the steak restaurant and brunch at the Bistro), but a bit pricey. Had a hard time sleeping as we could hear the occupants of the adjacent room all too well late into the night. Also, the bathroom doesn't allow for much privacy. Grounds are well maintained, pools are very clean. And again, the staff is excellent.

The spa is absolutely beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. They offer a large selections of services. My massage was awesome!!! The food is yummy!!! The staff are excellent!!! A must do yearly. I am about that Spa Life
