Overpriced & service not great. Phones in room didn t work. Called front desk on cell to tell them phones not working & to ask for help with fireplace, no one ever showed up to help us with it. Realized in am that one of K-cup pods provided was USED. Only one caffeinated pod to use for two people then. Pools are limited & didn t know we had to have a reservation for the pool right next to us until after we checked in...so we were too late. Grounds are beautiful & we had a nice dinner at Bob s.

Beautiful place (to drain your bank account)!
Everything is expensive but it's sure worth it, especially for a special occasion.

Hotel:
Room choices vary of course but both rooms that I've stayed in were very nice and well maintained. However, the CD player on the last visit took a vow of silence in our presence.

Dining:
Bluefire is a nice option with a delicious antioxidant mojito and arugula salad. I wasn't wowed by the mac/cheese side or filet mignon but asparagus and chicken pasta were good. Pricey as expected.
Sunday brunch should be skipped since it's akin to run of the mill business hotel hot breakfasts but instead of free will run you $23 if I remember correctly. Head for the breakfast spot at the corner of La Costa and El Camino Real instead but prepare for a wait (any day, not just Sun)

Spa:
WIN! Great options in the non coed areas (sauna, steam room, hot tub, cold plunge) with a perfectly tranquil relaxation room (in the private area and common area). Outside are immaculate gardens, the spa cafe, a meditation walking path, pool, hot tub and the fantastic Roman baths. It's a very peaceful atmosphere. The couples massage that I experienced was terrific and extra valuable since all treatments include obvious access to the spa facility so no need to pay the use fee.

Im suing this place , they have the worst customer service , i got hurt in my head when the shower fell in my head , the curtains are full of holes , and the the pictures of the rooms are not the reality, im still waiting for Johansson the corporate agent to answer me and I'm already back at home , so ,after $2600 bill from them after all they did to me ,I don't think I'm coming back.
Today it's the 22nd of August and I stayed in there from 14 until 17 and I have not receive not even an apology

Short stay for us, but the staff were helpful and friendly, the resort is beautiful and our room was spotless. Was a great place for us to unwind. Also, there is a Target within a 5min drive from the resort that turned out to be a lifesaver.

Spent the day at the spa with my mother-in-law and her friend. Really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the massage was one of the better ones I've had in my lifetime. Lunch was also lovely, though expect to be spending quite a bit here. We were celebrating my mother-in-law's birthday and she had a lovely time relaxing and being pampered.

While the resort has many amenities and the rooms are fairly nice, they are older & some things (like the sliding wooden doors) are not as functional as they should be...especially considering the cost of a room.

If you go to the family on the weekend, you can swim with the kids from 3pm and the kids are free.
And it s nice to have children s programs

If you want a resort break this is the place. The golf was outstanding. The Chopra Center and the Spa are exceptional. The staff is there is meet your needs. The rooms are large with luxurious baths. Do not miss this great resort property. The weather and area provide all sorts of other experiences close to the resort.

Went on a work trip and had the opportunity to stay at the Omni resort. This place was great, well maintained, good food, and friendly staff. The rooms can us a bit of an update, but overall in great shape. Will definitely stay there again if I have a chance.

The staff was very professional and courteous in all interactions that I had with them during my stay. All employees genuinely seemed to be interested in making my stay as good as possible.

Omni La Costa is a beautiful Golf Course and accommodation and not a luxury hotel. If your expecting hotel service and experience , staff are not trained or qualified for hotel management.
Rooms are small and cleanness is an issue.
They have a nice kids pool and slide , however it gets really boring in the evening, no activity or entertainment for kids or adults.

Such a beautiful place to stay and relax!
Things are expensive but it's expected and worth it. The resort is a terrific place for a special occasion.
Hotel rooms vary but both rooms that I've stayed in were really nice. The Bluefire restaurant is a nice place with delicious looking menu. Half of what my husband and I ordered was mouthwatering. The rest was okay... I think it was the filet mignon that most disappointed by being overcooked. One of the other turn-offs is the Sunday brunch - basically a typical business hotel hot breakfast that costs $20+ instead of being included as part of your stay. (There is a great local breakfast place at the corner of La Costa and El Camino Real - it was packed but very good!)
Our favorite part of our stays has been the spa. There are excellent options in the non coed areas (cold plunge, sauna, steam room and hot tub) with a relaxation room in both the private area and common area. Outside are some nice gardens to wander in with a meditation walking path, the spa cafe, pool, hot tub and the invigorating Roman baths. Overall it's a very peaceful atmosphere. All treatments include access to the spa facility.

We had a ladies spa day to celebrate a big birthday. The birthday spa package for groups of four or more was perfect! Each person had choice of 50 minute relaxation massage or a facial. Full day access to the amazing spa facilities, lunch and cake for dessert. The grounds are gorgeous with lots of flowers in bloom. Was blown away at the attention to detail that Courtney, our spa coordinator, put into making the day so memorable. Will definitely be going back!

Service by all staff from the Bell desk to check in was fantastic. The food at Bistro 65 was great as well and the waiter should be commended for his service and recommendations. Bed was SUPER comfortable! I'll be coming back for sure. Omni has done a great job. Was here about 6 yrs ago and it's phenomenally better.

Family friendly place with tons to do with multiple pools on property, tennis courts and clinic and Chopra Institute. Great spa onsite. Food could be better but there are multiple options onsite. Easy ride to the beaches. All in all great location and property.

Nice resort. Lots of amenities. We enjoyed our stay. The La Costa Golf Course is a gem of a course. The assistant golf pros were rude to me though.

I am updating my rating to 5 Star. I am satisfied by the Head Professional's response to my incident, that it was an anomaly.

The staff, room, and ambiance were all wonderful, and it would've been an easy 5-star review except they messed up our room and gave us a room that was already occupied, which resulted in some awkward moments. On the other hand, the manager did comp us a night's stay for our trouble.

I was there for a rally. When I needed to change my daughter there were no changing tables. There was a couch that people sat on and were either breastfeeding or changing thier babe. Super unsanitary. Thankfully I had my changing pad and a blanket.

Really welcoming staff and a lot of space to rest in the beds. The hot tubs are perfect after a long day. Visited in February because of work. Would recommend also if it was a private staycation.

I didnt live in the hotel, but I played all 36 holes here, and I think it is great.

The legend course is in really really good shape. The fairways are full of grass and very soft. The green speed are also acceptable. I think the legend course is in good shape due to the World Junior Tournaments going on.

The champion course is in fair shape. The fairways do have full grass, however the ground is pretty hard. The fairway is still acceptable, but incomparable to legends course. Greens are just about as good as legends course. Service was not bad, love the old mans in the tee off area.

I overall had a great time here. That is why I played 72 holes here in consecutive 4 days.

Aging property and it shows. Room veneers peeling and chipped, multiple light switches with no apparent function, room safe erratic and bath mat/towels missing. Staff is pleasant but appears content with mediocrity. On the upside, restaurants and bars are excellent and reasonably priced. Sundries are very pricey. $15.00 cigar is $35.00.

Beautiful rooms and wonderful service. They treated us wonderfully on our newlywed night - flowers, wine, balloons, and cheese! Some of the other clientele left a bit to be desired however.

This place is great! BUT if you looking for a place with action and entertainment this would not be the best choice. Its a very quiet resort
better known for tennis and golf which are excellent! Over the last couple years they have done a great job on bringing in new restaurants and entertainment....

This place is absolutely gorgeous no matter where you are at the resort there is always benches and tables so you can sit and just enjoy the scenery. And all the employees are very nice and treat you like you are family.
