Paradise on Earth! This is the most beautiful place I have ever been. When we arrived at the island we've got super warm welcoming. We were truly astonished. We have been in Jacuzzi Beach Vila and it was amazing. Super comfy and clean. The food was delicious and the stuff friendly, funny and always smiling. Everything was perfect. We will be back soon.

A Resort full of activities and with a wide choice of restaurants both buffet and a la carte, certainly a great option for families who want to travel to the Maldives. Snorkeling and walking on the sandbar at sunset are experiences we will never forget !! We'll be back!
The most amazing place I ever visited. the rooms are clean and the staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. We stayed in beach villa jacuzzi. is like paradise on earth. The food was medium to good. Snorkeling was awesome we saw giant turtles. I would highly recommend Kuredu Island Resort & Spa.
Great island, great not only for diving but also snorkeling (turtles and large rays near the beach, offspring rays and BabyHaie 40cm + right on the shore!) With Prodivers own PADI dive center including stationary More
With accommodation for over 700 people this Maldives island retreat has everything. Family villa's and adult only areas the island is almost divided into a number of separate resorts. Amazing snorkeling, activities and day trips to keep you busy if you can pull yourself away from your own villa. Kuredu sister island is Komandoo with which they share a lot of day trip activities. Komandoo has only 80 villa's, smaller and more suited to honeymooners.
A dream. We had a beach bungalow. Food and service was very good. All dishes were a bit spicy. You could add a bit more to the regional cuisine. To relax, the complex is great. If you're on Kuredu and you do not dive, you missed something. There the world is still in order and you get to see a lot. We can only recommend the island
We had a fantastic stay! Very friendly, excellent fresh and varied food (even for an Italian guy!) and perfect for couples and families, as the island is big enough to separate upper and lower part.
Great place to relax and unwind. Clear blue water to see fish and turtles without snorkeling if you don't/can't snorkel. Great staff in all departments.
A real paradise with beautiful beaches and clear waters. Snorkelling to see the varied marine wildlife is a must. Food is a bit limited in choice and local alcohol is not to everyones taste. A great place to relax and unwind, even when fully occupied you wouldnt know.
Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the sun or explore underwater world. Different food every day, restaurants to choose from. Amazing views of the ocean from almost any point of the beach. Lots of watersports activities to choose from. Spa and excursions to neighbouring islands available. Different entertainment every night after dinner. Staff are caring and always ready to help.
Fantastic resort, very attentive service, the perfect island with many activities fundamentally water, a lot of variety in the restaurant ... we will return.
My wife and I have just returned from a 16 night stay in a Sangu water villa, which we found to be a fantastic experience. To have the sealife literally on your doorstep is a memory we will keep forever. This is a beautiful island, perfectly clean and maintained. There is a lot to do on this island if you wish, but also if you want to relax and do nothing ( like we did) you can do that too. We cannot praise the staff enough for everything they do for you here. They all go above and beyond to help. But we would like to send a special thank you to the chefs in the Sangu restaurant, Ayya, our waiter who was exceptional, and of course Saamee the Sangu resort manager.
Sorry for delayed review, had my honeymoon here xmas 2012 & it was amazing. So good that i've since re-visited sister island Komandoo in 2013 & Vilamendoo 2014 which I believe is part of same group. Staff & service you should be very proud of
The best holiday I have ever had and I've been all over the world !!!! A fabulous resort, amazing staff and just an incredible place to spend 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend this resort, especially the O Resort villas, they are amazing and have the best restaurant, right over the sea..... perfect
Great villas right on the beach with beautiful lagoon in front teaming with sea life. Spotting the turtles every time I went in water. Great hospitality with great food in the restaurants. Especially the buffet restaurants which offer a great choice that has a different theme every night for two weeks. This is the only place outside the UK that makes cakes with great sponge. Compliments to the chef kuredu island. Some good evening entertainment too, especially the hermit crab racing. Can't wait to go back and I can guarantee we will be.
What a place !! Always somewhere you dream of , turquoise waters , golden sands and blue sky ... well this is the place to go to for unwinding . Quiet resort however there are trips and activities which take you off the island , diving , dolphin watching and sunset cruises. The island can be walked round with in a couple of hours as there are plenty of bars on the way round . Dress code casual mostly going round bare footed or flip flops , no cars or rubbish around . Very clean island and the staff are great and willing to help and go the extra mile , restaurants have themed nights in the evening so menu changes daily . Evening activities round the bar area , with a mini bar in own room and sitting by the beach with friends did not get round to seeing many shows . If you enjoy breakfasts go and see the egg chef , they cooks eggs to order . Good start to the day !! Seaplane trip was as the topping for me , lovely friendly crew , with fantastic views from Male airport. Highly recommend this resort for adults !!
Here at the Kuredu Island Resort it is really a dream, 5 stars do not begin to describe what we have here. We were welcomed with drumming and clapping by the staff and our super nice tour guide from dertour Costa informed us very nicely and professionally in German in all important things. He brought us to our bungalow visit, which is highly recommended and invited us to the info day the next day, showing us what we can book and what is included in our all inclusive plus. The atmosphere here is really super relaxed and the staff absolutely not pushy, and yet the service here is at its best. Socket adapters are really recommended, but they are also available in every electronics store. Small bills in Doller are important for the tip but Costa has also given us great advice! You can do so much here that it really doesn't get boring here. Our beach bungalow is a dream, a huge comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom, everything was very clean and well-kept and with, as I said, directly with a sea view ... and that despite the current weather side We would book again and again with dertour because Costa is really a great consultant for us and no question is too much for him, even with small questions, whether the sparkling wine or to book, he is always there when you need it and even if there is his nice colleagues who support him and form a perfect team so that you can feel really good here.
Fantastic resort with lots of things to do and see. Will defo go back again. Deserve 5 stars. Polite and friendly staff. Food was amazing and different everyday.
This is our honeymoon it was pending since dec 2011, we stay at water villa for one week, very nice place for releasing stress as well as pressure, very relaxing, all staffs are very nice, still no shoes, we will check out on 06th march but both of us wanna stay longer if possible, and one thing impotant for business men is weak of wifi, no need to keep checking email,
Highly Recommended! The island offers something for those who just want to relax, as well as for those who would like a bit more entertainment and entertainment. All staff are really very hard-working. From the taxi driver to the roomboy, everyone on Kuredu tries to make it as good as possible :-)
What an amazing place. Beautiful beaches, gorgeous sea, great staff, great rooms, great food. Literally can't think of anything bad without being pickey!
It's not the best resort I have been to, the villas were a bit old and may need a bit of refurbishment, the vegetation is also a bit yellow and not as lush as I was hoping, the reef is far from the beach and the food was quite repetitive, so I'd rate the resort with 4 stars, but I'll give a 5 for the quality price ratio and for our great waiter Fulhu, who made every meal special. For the price we paid was an amazing week, thanks Kuredu for making our honeymoon unforgettable!
This island is a paradise in a true meaning of the word. Luxurious with a lots of activities and facilities. Beautiful nature and beaches, thematic evenings and dinners. Every recommendation. The reason i am not giving 5 starts is because we had friends who stayed in one of the villas which are not at the beach. Depending on where your villa is, you eat at the specified restaurant. We had a beach villa on the best side of the island and we were ate at one restaurant, our friends ate in different one. So we tried both experiences. The service was not the same regarding waiters. We didn't like the feeling of being divided into classes based on the accommodation, so the ones who paid for beach villa are being treated better ten the ones who had villas in the middle of the island. Absolutely unnecessary and business oriented because all the guests paid pretty good money to stay at the island no matter of what sort of villa they have.
Unfortunately not as great as it used to be. Since I've been to Kuredu several times, I had to realize that the quality of this resort has deteriorated. The water villas are in a desolate condition. Of course, this is the salt water to borrow, but it does not give the impression, as if it worked in any way. The front door of the water villa hung so much that above the frame a real air gap has arisen. This made sure that the built-in air conditioner (when it was running) had to work against the incoming heat and draft. The wood on the sundeck was brittle and porous, so you often caught a splinter. The same way, unfortunately, the jetty looked to the water villas. On the upper deck, the screws for attaching the planks stood out a bit, which is not exactly funny when you walk over it.
Personally, I got along with the 500mb free internet access. However, I found the price for 24hrs ($ 12) or for 5 days ($ 50) very steep, considering that the WLAN reception in the water villa resembles a 56k modem.
Since the Maldives is known to have a problem with the disposal of plastic waste, I still can not understand that every day there is a new bottle of water that consists of plastic but there are alternatives that are right next to it.
On the positive side, the staff is still very nice and very accommodating and the food was always varied and plentiful. There was a theme day every day regarding the food and there was something for every taste.
For activities and entertainment was / is still taken care of. There are many things you can experience, be it on the water or underwater. Even on land you can experience a lot of funny things :-)
Last but not least, I have to say that it is still a beautiful island and if the "minor" deficiencies could perhaps be eliminated, then one would gladly visit another familiar resort one more time.
Stayed in the water bungalows which were lovely, well kept and clean. Call a buggie when ever and where ever you need to go. Friendly staff and atmosphere all round the island. We stayed in a beach bungalow for the first week which was lovely, before moving to the water bungalow for the next week. If you stay on the water bungalows you have a separate dinning area which is more secluded and romantic. The food is delicious whether you are staying in the water or beach bungalows. We have stayed on many islands in the Maldives and this so far is our favourite.
The island is really fine and the sea is surrounded by awesome. You should definitely snorkel. All inclusive food side 4/5. Separate restaurants are relatively expensive. BOOKING FOR BOOKING GARDEN BUNGALOWEJA, in Finnish, it's time to be horrible, so you should not choose the cheapest accommodation option if the accommodation is not important for you. Spa facilities and golf ok. The island's souvenir shops can be complemented by typical sunscreen, T-shirts, etc. There's hardly anything to take home.
Great resort lots of activities, amazing service and staff. If you're not looking for a boring Maldives experience and want more to do then just relax and sun bathe this is the place. So many activities :)
Amazing resort. Best vacation of our lives by far. Calm, well maintained and super nice staff make the stay very pleasant and relaxing. Aquatic wild life and all activities (such as tennis, gym and wind surfing) made this a five star experience.
Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the service per se. I can only share events with you so that you can form your own impression. We were taken to a bar by people we met on site. Since we had half board, we assumed that of course we would have to pay for our drinks. At first we were told that we don't have to, as we were invited by our "friends" (all-in guests). When we left the bar the discussion started. I was in the bathroom when I heard a man scream. I came back to the bar when I saw one of the staff yell at my wife and wave his hand in front of her. I heard her say that she would like to speak to a manager. Then I see how the named person from the staff grabs her by the arm and literally wants to drag her to the front desk. I hardly need to describe how I responded to it. The entire bar and the restaurant were naturally aware of the gentleman's loud screaming. We felt more than exposed. Unfortunately it was not possible to speak to a manager that evening. The tour guide came to us briefly (full drunk) but was not very helpful. The next day we had to contact the management again. Then, 6 hours later, there was a conversation in which we were assured that one had known the mentioned gentleman of the staff for years and that this could not be. We were asked if we were really sure that this had happened. I will not go on to say that this is an indescribable way of doing things. He put us (manager) off and wanted to watch the video material. In the evening we had to approach him again, where he apparently thought that we were fooling us into seeing nothing on the tape and there would be no sound. I then became sharper in my tone, whereupon he said what exactly I want from him now. We consulted with the couple that was involved and that we got to know on site. We came to the conclusion that we felt so humiliated that we wanted to move to another hotel, gladly against additional payment. He wanted to clarify this. In the meantime, the entire hotel was apparently informed of the incident, as we were constantly ignored and looked at crookedly. Of course, we had to visit him again the next day. He offered us to upgrade. That was when we first realized that a distinction is made between categories. He explained to us that this would mean that we could then use other restaurants and that the staff there was friendlier, as the more upscale guests would eat there. YES You read that right, that was exactly the formulation. A distinction is made between all-in, all-in plus and all-in gold. But please don't pin me down on the label.
The highlight is yet to come.
The next day he came to us for once and informed us that he had an alternative, quiet and, above all, brand new hotel for us, which at first sounded good. Then he informed us that we would have to pay for the transfer. This is not customer-friendly considering what happened, but it was okay for us. Of course, I wanted to know what the price would be. He answered what the transfer would be worth to us and up to what price we would agree. INITIAL? In the end it was 100 per person (4 people). The tour guide was not in sight at any time. Apparently we were in good hands. When we then had to carry our suitcases out of the bungalow over the sand to the beach ourselves, we were happy to get away from there. The new hotel was a disaster. Leftovers and rubbish were floating around in the sea. An absolute disaster. Never again !
Beautiful place, beautiful hot water full of fish and beautiful underwater world and bonus turtle .. Incredible experience Excellent food. One does not know what to taste
We did our honeymoon on Kuredu and I have to say, it was just amazing. The food was delicious. The staff (room service, cooks, waiters etc) was great and friendly. You feel like you are in paradise. The various offers on the island, you will never be bored. We look forward to a reunion.
My first visit. And kuredu resort staff made this really memorable. Very helpful and approachable at all times. Loved all the facilities here. Flights make it hectic. But worth every $$ and time. Amazing property and definitely worth a return trip
Visited for 3 holidays now. Heaven on earth. Sea plane to get there. Idyllic island takes about an hour to stroll right round the perimeter so a good size island fantastic food choices from 7 restaurant options. Water sports and lovely beach. O-resort our favourite bea ch villas and restaurant. Great service and weather. Go try for yourself.
