We use Dakota county lumber for almost all of our materials. The staff there are very knowledgeable about all the products they sell. They even let you use the conference room with customers.

I am so pleased to work with the team at Dakota County Lumber! We built a custom ADU home office in our yard! It was born from the sheer need for more room during COVID as both my husband and I as we will always work from home now. Doug - the Estimator did such a great job, using the hand drawn plans he sent a full materials list and the best thing is that we were able to return any unused materials to them. NOt only is that great from a financial standpoint but also an environmental standpoint, so much waste in building a new space.

I like these guys. They are always willing to help with advise and are also willing to make a cut with their arm saw if needed. Doesn't pay to go to a box store if you want service and better wood. I'm just sayin"!

These guys know what you need for your projects. Knowledgeable sales reps and great selection of products they are willing to back! Best part is they actually help you load your stuff instead of looking around for someone when you need help.

Just had lumber, diamond piers and concrete bags delivered to my home. I called a few of the local lumber yards including the big stores and Dakota county lumber had the best prices around for what I was looking for. Their customer service was top notch and they made the ordering process seamless. The delivery came today and everything looks great. The delivery driver was very courteous and made sure to be as careful as possible when placing the pallets and lumber on my driveway. Highly recommend this company!

I completed my new home construction 1 year ago. I used dakota lumber for just about everything inside and out. Terry Weierke and the employees at dakota lumber are top notch! During construction Terry would personally meet me on site to assist in my order, give wonderful suggestions, and check measurements to ensure that my contractors received the correct materials. It's now been one year since I moved in. I had a door with a manufacturer defect I found and they took care of it quickly. I still order everything I need for my home from dakota lumber. Their delivers are quick and returns are easy. If your building a home, Deck, or doing some remodeling call Terry!

I have been trying to get my window replaced (that was broken upon delivery), two screens, screw covers for doors, details to finish the job for over a year now. I call once a month, and I get promised that everything will get solved. They need to check on things and will call me on x day. Never call back, never deliver. I call back and the same thing starts over.

Worst company I have ever worked with.
