Avoid. The service here is non existent. They have a captive market and therefore don t care about anyone actually enjoying their time on the roof top. A blight on the good people of Singapore and their usual reputation for amazing and friendly service.
Come here for the views and cocktails, they are both spectacular! Don't come here expecting a cheap night out though, drinks are incredibly expensive. The place was buzzing, as the setting seems a perfect to catch up with friends in a trendy location.
Entrance fee, bit pricy drinks but view is nice. I'd rather goto Level 33. But You came to Singapore, Marina bay sands is a must and this is on top of MSB.
The coolest roof top bar in Singapore. Do not get a ticket for the observation deck, just go to the hotel lobby and get access to the bar!!!
Absolute must to do in Singapore. Better go to the Skybar instead of the Observation Deck. Cheaper and you can have a drink for the entrance. The view is gigantic.

Ce La Vi (not to.get confused with a bar on the same floor) was chosen to celebrate Oswald's birthday. One of the primary reason, other than food, was the view that this restaurant has to offer from the 57th floor.
After booking much in advance and making a special request of providing an outdoor dinner table , they tried to convince us to sit inside because "apparently they did not have any tables outside". After requesting them to try since we were staying with Marina Bay Sands, they managed to give us one, and to our surprise, almost all the tables were empty. Just to give them the benefit of a doubt we thought "they were booked for later hours" but 1 hour through the meal, and still the tables were empty...And then it rained.
Almost all the guests on other tables managed to get the table inside the restaurant, including a group of 3 on the table for 6 but we were asked to wait for 20 minutes as the tables (empty) available were for 4 or more guests.
Thereafter, realising that I had forgotten my mobile on the outside table i requested the attendant taking care of us to help me with an umbrella so that I can go and grab it, but he was apparently "Too Busy" but not busy enough to fetch a lady's purse that was outside on her table.
After we were made to sit an attendant with snobbish attitude came to our table to take.the orders, guess what? We asked him to get the menu first, and he left to grab one and took almost 20 minutes to come. Thereafter, rudely, told me to order everything at one go or it might take some time for the next order since they have to take care of all the customers seated inside including those who were shifted inside.
Wow! A fine dinner that has separate staff to.attend to.the guests seating out were not enough to take care of all the guest, together with the team working indoors. A Fine Dine does not know how to cater and treat their every customer, equally.
And thus, even though we had amazing food and a nice view of Gardens by the Bay we refuse to give a detailed review.

Sashimi and oyster not fresh. Steak not properly done, inside still raw with surface totally charred. Serving size was very small. After spending $404.89, I was still very hungry.
Marina Bay Sands' Seravi may be free on Mondays when there are no events.
I went on Monday but no one was lined up and it wasn't crowded when I went up.

Great place to eat. Even better place to take in the view. Make sure to get reservations if you want to sit down and eat. Once you're finished with your meal you are welcome to hang out in the bar which overlooks the front of the hotel. The pork belly appetizers are delicious, and the sushi is spot on.
Lovely view of the city and the infinity pool. Courteous and friendly staffers. Nice DJ. Party after 10pm on Fridays. Quite pricey drinks but you must already know this about this place.
Very nice dinner! The view is amazing but you have to pay 20$ entrance which you can spend on a drink or food. There is also another deck wich has the best view but that's almost 30$ entrance and no food or drinks there. Still a great experience

We got there around 10 and tried to order food, but apparently they closed their kitchen early and we could only order some of the food options. The menu said we should have been able to order food until 10:30. We decided to order the BBQ fries, which were themselves unimpressive but the Curry sauce was good. We also ordered a couple drinks, and they met expectations. I tried to order one of the craft beers, but they were out.
The redeeming qualities was that service was good and the view was spectacular.
Overall, I was expecting better for the price.
A good go-to rooftop if you are visiting the city. Crowd is pretty mixed, with a sizeable tourist population. Music is also very good, and the servers are friendly. Dress code is a little strict, so be sure to avoid sandals or jeans.
PS - if you're feeling hungry, the spicy curry fries are a good late-night option!
Exclusive skybar with a view. On some days the entrance is free so you can go up and enjoy the view.
The bar is very expensive though as is to be expected.
However the bar staff just doesn't seem to care. One of the staff simply lost my credit card when I paid and spent the next 15 minutes running around trying to find it.. Not what you expect from this establishment..
Went for the skybar for my parents anniversary while staycay at MBS, we booked a reservation as well but when reaching was told that the reservation was invalidated since the weather was not good thus they have closed off the skybar. When questioned on what choices do we have, we were told to wait 30min or just come back another day. This type of obnoxious replies were uncalled for and highly inconsiderate, I was highly annoyed by their lack of arrangements and backup plans for such situations since inclement weather should be a major occurrence for them.
After finally obtaining a seat in their sky lounge, the table was directly under an aircon vent that was spewing arctic freezing temperatures, where elsewhere the temperature was much more tolerable.
While the taste of the food was decent and unique, not to mention their Bao series was innovative and enlightening, the food was cold by the time it took to serve us which was nearly an hour after we have ordered.
Overall the experience was poor and below expectations which had greatly dampened our mood for the anniversary celebrations
Beautiful view of the city. Go before sunset and stay till it dark and you see the city light up. However, you can do that by spending $40 on just the pool tour instead of the $$$ here. The food is way too mediocre for the price and service, which was really good. The calamari definitely needed more seasoning and the dip had no kick to it. The chicken was blah. I wouldn't recommend paying $170 for the set menu at all.
The space is packed most of the time, finding a seat is a chore. Well under normal circumstances that it understandable, it being a rooftop bar of a iconic landmark and all. However the service here is absolutely appalling, once we found a hard earned seat, we were told by the server to move to another section of the bar because this section is about to be closed for private event. Fine, no biggie, as long as there is a table is good enough. Well.. turns out that section is closed as well. After being confronted by this, the server became very defensive and rude, i would have accepted a simple apology, noooope, i guess that is too much to ask.
Thats not all, finally we manage to get our drinks and the bartender mixed up a simple instruction, mix A TO B, not put A & B in a different glasses. Again, the service team is unapologetic and insisted they got the drinks right. I would have accepted them putting the A & B in the same glass. But apparently, thats too much to ask for.
And..... that ruined a perfectly fine afternoon.
Protip 1: Bathroom space are limited, empty your bladders and bowels before coming up here.

I can see why reviews would be poor being in such a tourist hot spot, and the bar did look chaotic. However the restaurant experience was absolutely flawless. Maybe we were lucky, we did book a few weeks in advance, but we were seated right at the edge, service was attentive, and food delicious. The lamb dish was superb, like an English roast dinner, but spicy! Wine perhaps a bit over priced but to be expected in this part of town.
Great rooftop restaurant with the superb 360 degree view. We ordered 4 course meal and the food was good but not perfect to make us want to go back. The service was excellent.

Surely the panorama plays the part of the lion, you certainly don't come here for the kitchen even if I have to say not so bad, exaggerated price but it is in the price to pay.

The only reason to go to this roof top bar is for the view. There is a minimum $23 bar charge to go up to the top. Most of the signature cocktails are very small and cost $23 plus an additional $5 hotel fee. The view is spectacular and it makes more sense to get a drink at this bar than to pay a similar cost to go to the observation deck 1 level below. It is usually very windy so don't wear a hat. Everything on the menu is over priced and undersized. Plan to have one drink and sip it for 30 minutes and take in the scenery and then head somewhere else for a better selection and price! If you find a spot to sit, grab it quickly as it is usually standing room only at busier times.

0. My girlfriend asked 3 times for nice table the same day and day before for my 40th Birthday, and we got one of the worst ones close to the bar.
1. The food arrives before the wine.
2. No one asked how is our food.
3. My cutlery was not change for meet ones.
4. We served wine by ourselves
5. Half an our and nobody came to ask if we want dessert, we have to go to the counter to ask for.
6. For 325 SGD ( desserts comp.) you expect much better of everything.

Lucky the view is good because the service is horrendous.
Food is good also great wine list. However the service is by far the worst I have ever experienced. Had a 21:30 reservation, was seated then 40 minutes went by before anyone took my drink or food order. I had to find a waiter to take my order. I was then told that I couldn't order the set menu because it was too late the cut off was at 22:00 it was 22:10. They eventually gave in and let me order. When each course came the waiter just quickly set it down and walked away, with no explanation of what it was. The bill comes and I charged it to my room, they needed the room key for verification. Waiter walks away and never comes back. I finally walked over to waiter station asking for my room key back. They claimed they gave it back which they did not, turns out they lost. Took them 35 minutes to find it. The dinner took about 2.5 hours with most of the time wasted waiting on service. For the amount of money you spend at this place the service was completely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Expectation was high, but in reality it is not so good just because the price and location are high. It's nice to go up to the top with one drink.
Incredible atmosphere, we were seated outside and the view was amazing. The food was delicious, cannot fault. Great value for money and great service. One of the best restaurants we ate at in Singapore.

I decided to edit my previous review, take back my compliment after a foul service I received at Ce La Vi today (1st December at about 8pm) Let me describe to you this waiter who should be severely reprimanded. A short to average height tamil male, spiked up hairstyle, dark-skinned with prominent shiny, white stoned ear studs. I reckon he is from Malaysia when I heard him speak Malay to his colleagues. I am Singaporean and I am able to distinguish various dialects and countrymen quite well. I was with my friend and had requested him to take a photo of us after he served our drinks. I had passed him my phone with the flash on. He immediately snatches my friend's mobile phone from the table and slides up the keypad looking for the torch without even asking her permission. WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?! Do you snatch anyone's phone from the table without asking for it? I had to remain calm although I lost my temper. I did not want to ruin what was a fantastic night for my friend and myself. Next, we ordered French fries. He comes up from behind carrying the plate. I had no idea that he came up right behind my head. I happened to turn and knocked the cheese sauce bowl from his hand accidentally. Of course I do not have my eyes at the back of my head. He does not apologize and does not help to clean up the mess. I had to ask for paper towels to clean up the mess at my table. The icing on the cake was when he did not bring the receipt and change for a $50 bill which I placed in the cheque book. He vanished for an hour plus. When I questioned him for the receipt and my balance, he tells me condescendingly that my balance was only $1.20 and because my change was left on the bar counter for long, the other staff had put my change into the tips box. I would like to make it clear that although it is not a big amount of money, I just got infuriated in his condescending reply that it was just $1.20 and he does not give me the receipt until the end. The very nerve he had to come back without the receipt and tell me that he put my balance back into the tips box. How dare he belittled my hard-earned money regardless if it is only $1.20 or not? Where was the receipt for my orders? I am expecting a response from the Ce La Vi management with regard to their staff's ill-mannered behaviour. It is because of an utterly disgusting service like this, that the rating for your restaurant is so bad. I was looking for his name on his nametag and all it stated was "Team Member". He is one hell of an appalling moron. Rude and dodgy. Horrible service and he is ruining the reputation of one of the high-end bars in Singapore.

Super nice location. There are three area and three bar counters to grab a drink. Dont forgot to go to the counter at the last end which is outdoor and have a fantastic view. Drinks are from $25+. You can get nice wine and cocktails

Very very expensive for very disappointing quality consumers. My fruit juice had a possible chemical taste. My neighbor's wine was undrinkable. The drinks are not cold and it is therefore impossible to have them without ice cubes. The note starts very quickly in the 3 digits for 4 simple drinks.
In short, we fell into a typical bar of a tourist trap .... The name of the bar should have put us in the ear ... The view is fortunately exceptional, but we do not have to consume to watch it
Varying standards of service and really bad service. Service staff couldnt even offer to take my order and told me to get my cocktail from the main bar. Their ladies night on wednesday feels like a sham, starts after 10pm. Purchase of tickets of $20 barely covers the cost of a drink and has to be topped up. With the upmarket price of drinks, I expect a certain level but was hugely disappointed.

Look at the number of reviews pertaining to service and food quality, NONE is being attended to, CE LA VI team, please close down the SG outlet once the lease is up, and let other restaurant with better standard and quality take over.
No answer for phone call from this restaurant at all, i suspect their phone number on the website is just for show. Customer relations team reply email as though they are texting their friend, and can take up to more than a day s time to reply email.
Made a reservation at this restaurant as it s my parent s wedding anniversary. Ordered a bouquet of roses on my dad s behalf and wanted to have it delivered to the restaurant so as to surprise my mom. Checked with the restaurant via email before I placed order for the flower to ensure that they are able to help me receive the flower prior to our reservation timing, they replied okay, until 2 days before my reservation, they asked me to inform the florist to have it delivered after a specific timing, which apparently the florist is unable to do so as the delivery is dispatch by areas. Emailed back to restaurant to check if there are any restriction if it s not delivered within the given timing, as expected, i did not hear back.
On the day of reservation, the reception at level 1 of MBS Hotel Tower 3 doesn t give off a welcoming feel. She just look at us and say nothing until I ask if she need to see our reservation email, she says no need, just give her my name, i told her my name and she requested to see my email instead, what a joke. As it was a wet weather condition with quite a heavy downpour, it took quite sometime for the receptionist to check with the receptionists outside the restaurant if we could be allowed to go up. Eventually we went up, and the receptionist on level 57 told us that our table was not ready due to the heavy rain, and we were told to wait at an area first, another receptionist directed us to follow her to the supposed waiting area, we followed her but she was out of sight shortly as she walk so fast, without considering that we have our parents to attend to under wet weather condition, we have to approached another staff member who was on duty near the pool side of the hotel. Turns out we made a big round back to the reception area again and the receptionist told us the waiting area is just right beside the reception table. *roll eyes* I questioned her, why do you get your colleague to direct us and lead the way if the waiting area was just right at where we stood when we first came up? No explanation and no apology at all. After another 10min, we were told that our table is ready, it was in the lounge with a small table, crowded and noisy with loud music, we have to compromise our initial reservation for the outdoor seat due to the rain. As it was my parent s anniversary, we did not want to continue to stay on for the bad service, and we cancelled our reservation and went to somewhere else which we didn t regret, the food and service there is a 1000x times better. (oh btw, this is also the place i get the florist to deliver my flower to, because Ce La Vi just can t be bothered to reply my email thereafter).
I thought it was just me who have an unpleasant experience even before I fulfil my reservation and dining experience. Came to take a look at google reviews, so many people shared their negative experiences.
Although I did not manage to dine here, but i agree with others, there are better restaurants and bars out there, if you are here for the views, just pay for the sky park ticket. It s my first visit, and also my last, i will not be coming back here until it close down and change a new tenant.
Excellent choice to access the rooftop at lower cost. Normally, it costs more than 40 euros for an adult and a child just to walk around.
With this principle, it will cost you 22 euros not adult and 22 euros are good to consume, 2 in 1 .
Obviously, it can cost you more depending on what you consume so much and you will have to bend your elbows to sit on the edge.

Wow, I would not have expected this bar to serve expensive cocktails that taste like water. Never had such a bad cocktail! My friends wanted to book a few nights in the hotel, I told them to stay away. Bad quality!

The views are back and forth. I do not like the food. It costs a lot of money. I heard from Singapore that Singapore is a good place to live if you have money.

If you come early, you can also get a seat. The music in the evening is very diverse and well suited for dancing and partying.
On Wednesdays for the "Ladies Night" there is free sparkling wine for the girls on the house. ;-)

went there during dinner and ordered the festive set dinner menu. very disappointed by the quality of the food as they were served rather cold. was asked twice what water i preferred but it wasnt served until much later. only attractive thing here was the view but i guess you could just pay much lesser to go up the observatory instead for the view and have your meal at a nicer restaurant.
