I was here for the first time. Great view, casual ambience and very friendly staff who attended to our table. The complimentary dessert for the birthday gal was a pleasant experience for customers. The only drawback was the small portion of food. Even for the price we paid with the 50% promotion, I think it was pricey. I guess the view cost more than the food.

Let's face it - it is on the Top of Marina Bay Sands - location is great with great views all around but as expected, expensive for its drinks, not too expensive for food. We tried most of the Vegetarian choices and were pleasantly and positively surprised - food was hot and good. Service was quick but then they were trying to keep the "flow" going. Ambiance is great. PS. We were there late in the evening and we did pay a "per head $22" charge that was applied as a credit. (Image is view from the top)

Great view, but the price is very high and the quality of the food is very poor. You better pay for access to the view deck (1 floor below) and eat somewhere else in the city. That can really be much better everywhere in Singapore (tastier and much cheaper!). It's better not to do Ce La Vi!

After the worst Aperol Spritz, I was there with a colleague of mine (he confirmed that it was the worst...) we were forced to change table and obliged to sit on a wet, very wet, sofa... The worst experience ever here in SG!!!
By the way, downstairs they sell you the ticket for 20$ (it is a reasonable fare) telling that the drink is included (great, 20$ for a cocktail at 57 floor... It is not to bad), but... Once in front of the bartender, he asked 28 for one... Showing the price... It is absolutely not fair...

Fantastic view. Gives you plenty of vantage points to take panoramic photos. If weather is good, the outdoor seats are probably the best al fresco dining location in Singapore. You can see miles and miles of the sea and to the east. Yes, your view is limited to those directions. Food is ok not memorable. Tends to be on the sweet side. Let's be frank. Main purpose for visiting is not the food.

Unbelievable bad experience

Unbelievable bad experience
1. Serve food super slow, all food are cold already & average taste.
2. Bad service - Waiter come forward & ask us on the food, we just honestly said no good, he said " are you a chef? You look like comment a lot on food"
This is interesting, if you cannot accept feedback from customer, why bother to ask at the first place?

Shall not have second visit, totally unpleasant meal

Terrible service from local staff. Booked outdoors seating for non-peak 4pm afternoon. Unfortunately the local bar/restaurant staff are restrictive and very curt and impolite, repeating non-stop with aloof face " Outdoor area is closed. You cannot sit outside". Absolutely no service. Most appalling, overheard unprofessional service staff whispering how much each patron is sending behind the bar tables. I guess, local staff doesn't understand what is service especially when tourists wouldn't be coming in for quite a while. Will be our last time here.

Picturesque view from the restaurant. Food is very delicious, server are friendly. The pace where the food is serve just nice. I took the 3 course set meal. They change the utensils after every dish which is hardly seen in other restaurant during this period. Definitely will want to visit again.

Never have I received service like that in my life. It was our anniversary and the staff at Ce La Vi took note and went above and beyond. The food was unlike anything else. Thank you very much

Fake high end restaurant. If you want to spend $500-$1000 for a dinner. Better find a real restaurant with class.

The staff here didn t know how to serve wine. They brought the glasses out like water. Food quality is not up to the standards. Cutteries are basic, decoration is ok but not great. The only point it gets is to be on top of the MBS but it has no view anyway (not sure if it s even a point)

Tried to call in for a reservation but no one picked up the phone, so we decided to just walk in. When we were at the reception downstairs, nobody mentioned that the restaurant was full, we paid for the entrance tickets and went up only to know what the restaurant didn t accept walk in customers. We asked for a refund and then they decided to sit us at the bar with no intention to give us an actual table, we had to ask for that after awhile. Despite all the hassle to have a table, we tried to enjoy our dinner but no, they knew nothing about serving wines, the food was not even that great, some of the starters were good but the lamb and the duck were chewy and the black cod were basic. Dessert was ok (can definitely find better quality for that price though).

Would not come back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. C'est la vie!

Well bit disappointed with the service. We were served 3 times with the wrong food we never ordered. It seemed like the servers had difficulty in keeping count of the table numbers. The table was not wiped clean and was quite sticky. Rating 3 stars only for the rooftop & location. Bit overly hyped place. May be as a result of staying shut for months due to COVID, but I hope the place is able to get it's charm back!

The view is fantastic. The bar / club is average. Entrance cover iof 20SGP, which can be redeemed at the bar. Drinks were average. Bad sewage smell when we were there. Dresscode is mentioned but not needed. Many people with shorts. However, I don't recommend sleeveless shirts.

Overall an okay experience at C est La Vie. My husband and I booked the NYE dinner where we were provided a 2 hour allocation slot. The food however took so long, we were in the restaurant for almost 3 hours. In the end, we felt a little rushed, even though it wasn t our fault that there was a backlog of food. Our waiter (Hamid) was excellent at his job and made sure every need was catered to. If this review was just based on Hamid, we would have given 5 stars. Without Hamid, I would prefer to give 1*. The reception desk were also welcoming and great at customer service but the rest of the senior staff chose who they spoke to/ thanked/ asked if diners were enjoying their meal. The couple next to us were asked four times in the space of 15 minutes if they were enjoying their meal, but we weren t asked once and never once received an apology for the delayed meal (other than from our waiter). We ended up paying over S$1000 for a mediocre meal but we ve had much better quality at Michelin restaurants, who charge the same amount or less. Customer service needs to be much more consistent and senior members of service staff need to be less stuck up/ choose who they are attentive towards. The couple next to us were guests at the hotel but we had paid exactly the same, for the same dinner package (if not more). We have also been guests at the hotel previously and this experience puts us off from staying at MBS again.

I was not super impressed with this place. Though it's probably better than the other rooftop options, it lacked good food and drink at the bar. The restaurant requires a reservation and they were not able to accommodate without a reservation even just for dessert. The bar offers some apps but nothing great. You have to buy two "entry tickets" at 22SGD each, which can ten be used towards food and drink. The views were nice but probably not worth it.

Wonderful view as always, but food and drinks were average, didn't live up the MBS name... Always a good choice to bring friends who never visited sg before, as a touristy check in only

If you are a tourist to Singapore and not staying at MBS, it's definitely worth a visit as the killer aerial night view is worth the money, since you need to pay a fee just to go up to the upper floors without a visit to any restaurant or club upstairs. The triple chocolate sin dessert was rich. Though pricey, it's understandable as you are paying a premium for the view.

Came here today for gathering. Food are surprisingly nice, especially the course.
Lucky that we got the seat near the window, so can see a very nice view of the super tree side. Stuff are friendly also :)!!
Thanks for the birthday surprise coz we both didn t expect anything for that for this dinner :)!!
Overall, nice view, nice food and nice service! Will definitely come again when my frds visit to Singapore !

Perfect place to see the view of Singapore! Sky bar in Marina Sands is perfect especially during sunset and night time. Yes it's expensive here but who cares if you're on holiday? Trust me it's definitely worth a try.

The only place without any dress restrictions to enjoy rooftop bar in Sands Marina Singapore. If you need any tables, you must pay for minimum charge or grab your own high chairs to anywhere. But, the views are spectacular and drinks are at reasonable price!

Came here with a group of friends during a conference. We did not have to wait in line (with people going to the observation deck) since we had a reservation. The view was fantastic! The Beautiful Super Clean Singapore! The food was delicious but a little bit expensive! Nice music background so Romantic and Entertaining!!!

Tourist hot spot. Although you get a drink voucher for the entrance, but if you order a drink still service charge and tax on top
View also not great, from the waterfront promenade can shoot better photos I think.
Tip is Level33 Bar, as you get a delicious craft beer tasting set and a phenomenal view of Marina Bay.
Interesting was the view to the Marina Bay Sands Infinitiy pool. Full of people who all want the same photo of themselves and post in the world.
Well, who needs it

Having arrived early for cocktails, we were sent to the bar. There was no host to greet us or find us a table. We had to queue at the bar to get a drink and then find our own table, which there were none. The only tables available were in the Club Lounge, all of which were reserved. We found a host to ask them to find us a table, and they explained there were no tables available. They went on to explain that none of the tables were reserved, but we could only sit at them if we committed to spending $150. We explained that we were going to the restaurant and had a reservation (and would spend more than $150), but they said that we had to spend $150 whilst sitting at the table. When we pointed out there was nowhere else to sit, they shrugged their shoulders and these were the rules. So with 6 empty tables in the lounge, we had to stand.

Having booked for 5, we were initially seated at a table for 4. We were left standing in the restaurant for more than 5 minutes whilst a solution was found - which was - we can pop a chair on the end of the table, facing a wall - no view. Given that this place sells a view, I was not happy. We had to get really cross with a Manager to get this resolved and get a table large enough for 5, but let me tell you, it took a fight! It was very poor and totally spoiled our evening due to the altercation - not what we expected to experience in a premier location.

Regarding the food, by this time they could have served me the best meal and I would not have enjoyed it. The attitude of this place is unbelievable and such a let down. To be honest, the food was just ok - nothing special and expensive. Don't go here for the food alone - you will be disappointed. Not sure you should go for the view either - there are so many people, you are crammed in like sardines and certainly do not get an uninterrupted view.

When in Singapore we would not consider this restaurant again. There are lots of other places to each that would welcome our custom and not treat us like we are on a conveyor belt. Such a shame. The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the location. There is no focus on customer service or guests experience.

Great ambience with skyline view of Singapore. Food is average, however, they have an extensive list of wines. A great place to bring your friends, families or even colleagues who are from overseas. Overall, it is very pricey, but hey, you pay for the view.

Lunch was nice set 4 course menu, would consider to take guests there again for a good reason but it was not that special that i would go there for the food alone, it has to be a special reason to impress someone with the View and the atmosphere.

Spetacular view of Marina Bay - please come around 6 pm so you get both day and night view. The place is next to the pool.

We are here for private event. The food is really awesome and many different menu. Service is superb as well.

Will def come back when I have visitors or friends who wanna see singpaore view from the top.

Pretentious bar with pretentious bar staff. Seriously look at you to see if you have you have enough money to come in and then most of the place is reserved so you cannot sit down. The overall experience in Marine Bay Sands is disappointing.

This place is ok. A bit gimmicky, much like the rest of Singapore. But once the downpour rain had cleared the views were nice. Cocktails were good but like everything in Singapore - overpriced. It s worth a trip up. Tickets are $20 but redeemable against food or drinks.

Hazelnut brownies are the best, and I think he's going to hesitate to drink the water last when I think that aftertones disappear. It was the best chocolate cake I had ever eaten.
The naming of the dishes was also unique and fun.

Extremely overpriced and quality is not up to scratch. Beer was warm and not enough liquor in the mojito. I guess you're paying for the location and that's pretty much it. I'd recommend paying the $23 to get onto the observation deck if all you want is to take some pictures of the view.

We had to pay $ 28 for admission, although it would be free for the hotel guest. Since Formula 1 was there, we had to pay for it, but we would get a voucher to use for the $ 28. Unfortunately we only got the "house wine" (which was NOT on the menu ??), beer or a soft drink. Ridiculous. Only when we complained to the front desk did they assure us that we could go up again to consume the $ 28. Unfortunately we really didn't want to go through this again because the bar was overcrowded and some parts (almost 1/3 of the bar with a view of the skyline) were blocked off. And the 3-4 high tables with "view" were permanently occupied with chairs.

I don't think it's worth it anyway, because the top deck "takes" a lot of views. There are better rooftop bars in the world.

In addition, the staff was very rude, rough and it was not really tidy. I had to bring a foul-smelling & overcrowded ashtray to the bar, as a service member who passed by ignored me icy cold.

The view is nice that's for sure but it's not exactly the nicest staff nor cheapest drink you can have. Do it once if you visit Singapore, but that's not the place where you'll find edgy music nor cool locals.

Mediocre and overpriced food, even for a hotel. I would not recommend going if you were looking for anything other than a seat with a good view (and we didn t even get that despite a reservation).

Welcome to the land of amazement. The food was so tender, but that was because it cost us $110 US dollars. The food was amazing, and it was worth $350 US dollars. If you are not in a tight restaurant, I will recommend this restaurant.
