Good atmosphere, everyone seemed pleased to be there and in a great mood, good variety of drinks and the staff were more than attentive. Bit expensive but then again it's Singapore! It was a bit hard to find a table or place to stand but we were there at peak time.

Food great atmosphere brilliant but one of the most expensive bills for the experience I've ever had. Don't have the share Pork Cuttlet - fatty, raw and horrible.
I've lived in Singapore for several years and I frequent this establishment often. The view is beautiful and the atmosphere is generally good. Nevertheless what happened to us tonight was unforgivable.
We go here more or less every Friday night however what befell us tonight will stop me (and hopefully you) in my tracks.
There was a group of 10 of us (mixed) in the VIP/ Members area and we were minding our own business. The table next to us was causing a bit of a ruckus but as it didn't affect us we didn't really mind. until one of the boys walked over starred us down and then knocked our bottle off the table intentionally he was clearly a drunken idiot gunning for a fight. Though this was inexcusable we let it slide. However the management's reaction I cannot let get away.
They just let him get away and go back to his table. There was a bouncer standing right next to us and saw the whole event unfold and yet nothing, no repercussions at all whatsoever.
Not only did they allow him to stay in the establishment, they defended him and permitted him to carry on being boisterous and unruly while he threatened us from afar.
It was the last thing I expected from an international brand in a country where I once perceived behavior to be fair and justly managed.
The bouncers response was that " They spent money and you spent money so I have given them a warning".
Don't be fooled for all its glitz and glamour that might seduce an unwitting and well paying patron, they run by some rule that money counts for everything.
I (and my friends) felt threatened and unsafe at such an unruly establishment where they allow "Money to talk" in such a way that such behavior is acceptable. The guests where allowed to stay on and continue gesturing and threatening us for the rest of the night when we were just trying to enjoy an innocent Friday night out with friends.
I therefore beseech you to not patronage them with your support when they run such a unprofessional and unruly management of their clientele. As an international brand they should regulate and manage their crowd so that the majority of their patrons establish a safe and light hearted environment not an environment that festers animosity and un-comfortableness.
For the premium they dictate that's the least they can do.
Unfortunately they have lost themselves numerous well paying regulars ( to the VP) that have held them in high regard until now. In a city that offers so much variety and options this has now become one that I would negatively endorse as there are so many more options that would not allow this kind of behavior to occur.
This place is beautiful, we found the service to be amazing and loved having wines high up in the sky with the pretty night time view across the whole of singapore
We were so excited to come here, but then this. The most unfriendly staff in the world. 5 star plus hotel, not even snacks after 10:30pm because the kitchen is closed. Do Edamame really need a kitchen? Then I politely asked if she could clean the dirty table. The response: I just cleaned it although it was visibly not touched the whole day. Then I asked to pay with contactless as I didn't want to give my credit card. She said no, there are no wireless machines. Ok. Never again I guess.
Recommendation to everyone do not support this unfriendly, extortion like business.
Overpriced. Service is slow. Nice views and after spending $88/person you are given access to the nightclub. Only worth visiting if you plan to go to the club.
You can't miss CE LA VI, at least (if not only) for the view. As a club, you won't find the best music or the coolest crowd, but it's worth a visit for the iconic location.
The most iconic bar in the city, no doubt. Beautiful views rain or shine. Good service, prices bite, that's why 4 stars. Never tried their food, only drinks. They are finally offering happy hour prices which still bite but are more affordable than usually. 16 dollars for a pint of Asahi or a glass of wine, 17 dollars for a cocktail. Ce la vi sunrise cocktail is stunning!
Excellent option to climb to the top of Marina Bay Sands Hotel. A $ 23 Singapore ticket redeemable for drinks or meals is purchased. I recommend the fruit plate to share.
Yes we knew it would be expensive to get a Sinapore Sling on a rooftop bar in Singapore, and at about $25 each for one of these here, it wasn't too cheap, but we didn't have to pay to get up here, we didn't have to wait to be seated, we got a great spot overlooking the harbour and got served straight away at the bar, though we did go at 9 o'clock on a Monday
February 2019. It is a typical tourist spot. For example, the 22 Singapore Dollars for entry into the 57th floor may be charged when eating a cocktail. It is important to understand that you have access to this bar and not to the vantage point on the 56th. The prices of the drinks and the food are sometimes upscale. In my opinion, a cool location when the evening can really "pop", but money does not matter. Also from here you get NO entrance to the pool area of the roof. A mandatory visit but not the ultimate.
Ce La Vi Skybar is the best way to see view from top of Marina Bay Sands! Go to the desk inside Marina Bay Sands on level 1 near lifts (don t exit to go outside/down to observation deck access). You get a $23 credit per person toward the bar/food when you purchase bar access. Have a cocktail (all $23) or drink of your choice, maybe a bowl of hot chips and enjoy the view for 30 min then leave to go find dinner somewhere.
People with cigarette smoke allergies be warned - there is a smoking section of the bar which is gross but thankfully it is pretty windy up there so you usually don t have to deal with the smoke for too long.
The staff was very attentive and always made themselves available. Food was amazing - great choices for starters, and flavorful, tender chicken and duck dishes. Desserts were delicious and well presented. They even offer free amuse bouche! Pricey but worth it for special dates.
The food is absolutely amazing. The view is beautiful. I did not really Singapore as a holiday destination because of the terrible hot and humid weather but if I ever go back it would be for the sole purpose of having another dinner here. 5 STARS
Amazing place to have a drink and enjoy the view up in the Lion City. Make sure to book on peak hours and weekends as they are pretty much fully booked all the time. You will need to buy an entrance ticket for around 22$ . Cocktails here are pretty affordable considering the location of the bar and the quality you get.
Excellent views of the city .Cocktails and dinner was exceptional. A memorable experience. We really enjoy our anniversary dinner. Will definitely be back on this restaurant !
Good choice, but pretty much overpriced. Service was just more or less good, food and drinks were quite ok but not more than that. However, worth a visit mainly because of the breathtaking view.
$22 dollars to get in but it goes toward any drink or meal purchase. It's expensive but the view was worth it. We ended up paying an extra $5 for a Singapore sling and enjoyed it.
Some of the best views in the city. Tip, after you exit the elevator turn left and left again. There's 2 sections of the restaurant: one away from the pool and one next to it. The one next to it has nicer views of the city.
Yes the food was awesome and the view was great, but thats about where it ends. They catch you on the ground floor expecting you to pay $20 singapore dollars per person even before you can get to the restaurant which you can then use as a beverage and food voucher for the bar or restaurant. There is no menu to view on the ground floor before making a decision to go up there or not. If you choose to then go to the restaurant, then you may as well stay there for dinner because $20 is an expensive look at a restaurant menu to not use the voucher you have paid for downstairs.
Note: there is nothing on the menu for $20, my partner and I had 3 drinks, 2starters and 2 main total came to $250. Avg main price approx $50. A glass of beer will set you back $16 If we had seen a menu downstairs we may have chosen to eat elsewhere, this is the catch though to not having a menu downstairs.
You may as well just go to the sky deck and pay the $25 dollars and get the same if not better view's from 1 floor below.
The view is 5 stars but I don t think they added alcohol in our $27 drinks. So we basically got overpriced sugar water on a rooftop. Get a beer, at least they can t suck alcohol out of it.
Atmosphere is amazing! Super cool place. But prices are so unreasonable and food is horrible. Can't believe how much we payed for such below average food.
We've been to many restaurants around the world that have spectacular views only to be let down by mediocre food and service. Ce La Vi gets all three right. Ben was very helpful on food recommendations and made perfect wine pairings for each of our courses. He was always available when needed yet unobtrusive. The food options cover a wide range from the familiar to the gastronomic treats. Every dish was a feast for the eyes and tastebuds. And then there are those gorgeous views of Singapore. A wonderful restaurant from every aspect. Great value!
Great view but poor service. We went on a Monday night and it took a while for a staff to notice us at the bar (3 girls). We asked for a drinks menu but they told us to make our way around the bar instead of simply giving us the cocktails menu... Cocktails were about $25
You have to pay 20 dollars at ground floor in order to get to the bar and you get a voucher which you can use for drinks. If your drink is more than 20 you can pay the difference, plus you are also charged for the service. Views are absolutely amazing - the bar itself is nothing special, been to better rooftops, but generally it was Ok. There was not enough seating space so we shared a tabele with a random couple, who turned out being very cool and we had a nice conversation with them so I m not mad at all about the lack of seating. You pay for the view and the location really, but it s still worth it and better than spending money on a ticket to an observation deck.
If you're in Singapore, make it a point to come here. Incredible view, great albeit pricey drinks with a great group of bartenders. If Mic is working, he's the best!
Had dinner with my mother here. Just an average food, chaotic service. I guess the view is worth the visit. Bartenders are fast even though its quite crowded
Even if we were "only" there as visitors, not as hotel guests: the service was friendly and fast - not exactly common in Singapore. Yes, you have to pay SGD 20 for the visit, but since it is fully counted towards drinks and food, this is justified in my opinion.
If you want to invite people to eat and entertain customers, here will be your job. The waiter was very rude. Our consumption is more than 1,000 yuan, but the waiter has become our God. No one cares. Spend money to buy sins!
Ce la vi is a nice rooftop bar on top of the iconic Marina Bay Sands (MBS). The view from the bar is very nice and gives a perfect chance to see Singapore and the skyline of Singapore. They also offer a decent size of drinks and access to the bar is free but the experience is however not complete without ordering a drink.
A sophisticated high-end exclusive lounge bar turned into a cheap discotheque. Cover charges are waived at smallest excuse. Drinks are offered free. Ladies receive surprise gifts. If you are confident of your brand power, why would you cheapen your offer?
I have also heard that it is rapidly turning into a pick up place. What else would you expect from a brand that claims to be in 'pursuit of pleasure'? This could very well be the tagline of a strip club. I bet the original owners are cringing.
Poor service. Such an arrogant and rude guest service. Your management should consider to improve the training, or just change the management all together.
Amazing views of Singapore in a stylish surrounding. Food was good (although you pay for the view.) However, the evening was marred by terrible service. We really struggled to get any kind of attention. When we did make a drink order it came half an hour later (so over an hour from first wanting to refresh our drinks) by which time we had finished our meal. I would recommend the bar, but give the restaurant a miss.
Worst service ever. Mums food was never served in 1.5 hours after checking with 5-6 different people and we have to relinquish the table after 1.5 hours. We were promised free parking after spending $150 and now they just said it's out of stock and refusing it. Will never recommend this to any of my friends. The service spoils even the Best view
