Rooms are very well equipped with everything needed for a few days stay, and I particularly loved the gym and health facilities (steam room, jacuzzi, sauna etc) The buffet breakfast and lunch was outstanding, and all staff so friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our stay and all my best to Staff that were so gracious and handled our needs. Arthur as usual was the best as always and made me feel at home. My son Starr and daughter said they loved the hotel staff.

There is also a good condition that the room where I stayed is a harbor view and a corner room, but there is no problem with the size and cleanliness of the room at all. The amount of water in the shower is also sufficient. The view is good, but the light up starting from 20 o'clock can not be viewed with the front of the building in the way. The morning buffet is a bit pricey, but I think it's well worth it. There is also a staff who can handle Japanese, so you can spend time with peace of mind. By the way, there are a lot of delicious shops around the food, so it doesn't matter if you don't rely on the hotel. Good smell drifting to hotel calms down feeling (we can purchase fragrance) There is subway station immediately on the side, and good location that there is supermarket.

The guestroom is spacious and the furniture well appointed , a bit dated design but show no sign of aging nor a single scratch on them, clean and tidy are beyond doubt.
Your staffs are attentive, warm and proactively helpful. This is especially honourable to be served by Linda, your front desk manager.
My wife, Liza was so delighted to be greeted with a bottle of white wine and birthday card delivered to our room, what a warm touch.

Service is good but there is no outdoor pool. The indoor pool is also small.
It is inconvenient compared to neighboring hotels because there is not shuttle bus which runs frequently to harbor city. The interior is old fashioned but the room is bigger than the price, well maintained and the bedding is excellent. However, there is a room without a bathtub even though it is 5 star.

The seats are spacious and private, but the manager of the Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel should pay attention. The waiters in the Lobby lounge, especially the class ladies, especially the Indians, are dislikes. Everyone should be careful and politeness should be improved. , Is always a high-end consumer place, not a tea restaurant.

Everything in this hotel is excellent. The people are extremely helpful, kind and polite. The cleaning crew, bellboys, front desk and supervisors are always ready to help. The room was awesome, can't ask for more, it's clean, tidy and air con's cooling capacity is good.
Kudos to the Filipinos working there ( Omar, Allan and the other one that slipped my mind), very much helpful specially when asking for directions on where and how to go to a certain place. They made our stay here unforgettable.
Highly recommended place and hope to come back again.
All the best..
Jesus Benedicto
from Manila

Air conditioning broke down. The staff had no idea how to handle the problem. It was a disaster. They moved me to a very poor hotel, and still want me to pay the full Shangri la price. Terrible.

Great location, comfortable room and views but feeling more like a business hotel than anything, especially with the pool buried at the basement. Also, the Horizon Club services are kept down to a minimal and I can't help feeling it was more like in a (not great) airline lounge.

Restaurant outlets are however impeccable.

From my arrival till the leave, my stay in this hotel was an amazing experience. I was warmly welcomed and I am so happy about that.
Even if I can understand English (still have difficulties when I have to hear it on the phone though), it was so helpful that there was a Japanese-speaking staff there to assist me.
Bell staff (Tommy), tea-service lady, and in-room dining staff for my breakfast were also great. And I really love that Shangri-la scent everywhere in the hotel!
And I love your bathtub, it is deep enough (to relax as a Japanese, Japanese people like deeper tun than shallow ones) and I was so relaxed!
I will 100% come back to stay here.
Thanks for the great moments this time.

I am allowed to stay every year.

I am allowed to stay every year.
There is a sense of security because the Japanese staff is stationed.
It is convenient because you can borrow a free WiFi router.
It was usable in Macau.
The breakfast at Cafe DeCour is delicious.

1. The check-in day is the birthday of the old fair day. When checking in, the receptionist only said to him that He Sheng had his birthday today, so he gave him the room card. He said that the reception is worthy of praise because he found his birthday on that day, but it was strange After I discovered it, I didn't even say a happy birthday. The basic courtesy of the receptionist should be improved.
2. When I checked in, I had said that the birthday cake would be delivered to the room at 3 o clock, but I didn t see it at 4 o clock, and I called to ask and told me that I don t know the name of the guest and told them the English name of the husband, but it was registered when I received the cake. English name, so why do you need to ask the English name?

It is commendable that the staff in the housekeeping department and the concierge department are very polite and the rooms are comfortable and tidy.

Check in was very easy. The hotel is beautiful and everyone is polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast is good with many choices, the only complaint is the coffee is cold, not hot. The room also has a misty odor. Location is excellent.

Was only here for one night. It's got very good food and the staff was super nice. We had a pretty massive room which was good. The MTR station was only a few minute walk from the hotel so that's good. There's lots of great shopping areas and restaurants nearby. When getting a taxi, the staff would have a slip of paper of their licence plate for if there would be a problem, you'd already have the information there. The hotel is just very comfortable and it's great.

our stay was cut short due to both my baby daughter and my wife becoming ill with a sickness bug.
I thought the New Years Eve buffet at the Kook Cafe was a big disappointment. Same selection as previous days and the replenishment of dishes was not very good which resulted in even less selection.
Room service dinner on the Sunday night was a very poor experience and unfortunately compounded to the unfortunate experience.
The afternoon tea in the club lounge was really quite pathetic compared to other Shangri-La hotels as well as your competitors.
On the plus side, all the staff we encountered were both polite and helpful and the accommodation met our expectations. I particularly liked the touch of the bell boy at the airport there to meet us and assist us to check in. I've never experienced that in all my years of travel and thought that it was an exceptional addition to the hotels consideration of its customers.

We splashed out a little for a nice hotel for our last few days in Hong Kong. The room was great and the service was really good. We had a great chat with the head of food and beverages, who really helped when it came to some special food requirements.

We had a wonderful time at the Kowloon Shangrila. Housekeeping staff were always friendly and our rooms were always kept impeccably clean. The only disappointment was there was no Turner Classic movie channel on TV, other than that, the Shangrila was the perfect accommodation for our holiday. We will definitely stay at the Shangrila next time we are in Hong Kong.

the Shangrila Kowloon hotel standard remains Bangkok, very good but our experience at the Angelini restaurant was disastrous. It's not Italian food or even fusion food, it's inedible. What a shame, serve a burrata on some unseasoned tomatoes, and penne bathed in cooking water, minced meat barely cooked in place of a stew that must be simmered. How dare you propose this !!

Frankly, room is old but in very good condition. However, we are very satisfied with staff attitude and passion to the customers. We will definitely return soon. Lounge is great with quality food.
