Good environment for big concerts, especially in the summer. Great crowds. Sucks when it rains. But other then that you'll have a great time. Huge parking lots. Kinda a walk to the ticket booth and entrances from some of the lots. Every concert I've been to here didn't dissapoint.

This is one of my favorite somewhat local (for me) concert venues around. I prefer to get a ticket in the seated area, but even if you're in the lawn, it's still great. Probably been here close to a dozen times for shows and not one time was the sound bad. Just recently seen Slipknot and Gojira there and had a great evening. If you're going to drink beer, be ready to spend a fortune. I got a whiskey and Coke, 1 beer, and 1 bottled water and it was 42 dollars lol. That honestly should've even be legal. That's the difference between this place getting a 5 start rating instead of 4.

Miss the deer creek dayz. More about ticket sales than concert experience. Acoustics are good and many liquor and food selections. Blame it on age I guess.. If I want to actually hear and see a concert, I need to pony up and get pavillion.

Very handicapped unfriendly they sell handicap spots to people with no problems I am a wheelchair veteran they have no wheelchair space for me stick me on the side out of sight I had gone there for years no more... If you handicapped veteran you will have a very difficult time getting around this place great concerts not veteran friendly not handicap friendly

It's Deer Creek. Stop changing the name.

That said, long gone are the days when you drove past miles of corn fields to get into the venue. Parking is quick and on point. Food is nearby so you don't have to pay $50 for a beer at the Hanson concert.

Watch of for excise cops and ALWAYS ride the pontoon boat.

As compared to other outdoor facilities that are within a short drive, this venue is below average when dealing with crowd management, vendors, and other convenient amenities to have customers return ... Bob Seger was wonderful, but the venue tainted the experience.

If going to cancel they should have never allowed anyone on property... # event coordinator should always have an early play date set up.. for example tonight 7pm start to me should have been moved back to 2 pm..,.

Every thing was good but 2 things the handicap parking was at the Farthest point of the lat. In their drinks are outrageously priced for a $1 dollar bottle of water you have to pay $7 for and for a $2 beer you pay $12.50 b but everything else was good they just need to fix the parking for the handicap it sucks you have to walk a long way

Great concert venue.

Great concert venue.
Party in the yard or stay close to the stage...good times.
Good sound and video screens...not a bad seat.
Bring the bucks if you buy the harder stuff.

Have been to this venue several times over the yrs and this continues to be the only one I go to for all of my live music choices!! Love love love "Deer Creek" (doesn't matter what they name it... It will always be "Deer Creek" to me)

I have seen many concerts here, and actually still call this place by its original name, Deer Creek Music Center, or sometimes even Verizon Music Center, but almost never by its current name of Klipsch Music Center, as all these name changes just confuse me, lol.

The music center is way outside of town in the middle of corn fields, which is great if you drive there yourself because there is plenty of parking in the fields of grass, and there are parking attendants to guide you in and line you up when parking.

I personally have found it easier to take a taxi (pre-Uber days), an Uber, or a limo to and from any events I want to see. This way they drop you off as close as possible to the entry, so less walking, and you can drink almost as much as you want because you're not driving home either, haha.

Inside the outdoor and open air stadium is a large center stage for the performers and a pit area in the front by the stage for those fans who like it close up and loud. Then lots of seating all around the stage in a curved design so you can sit various places for different views of the stage. And most performers will go all the way across the stage back and forth many times, so there really is not a bad seat.

Now if you don't want to reserve a specific seat, you can sit outside of the seating area on the lawn, these are called Lawn Seats, in case Mr Obvious, didn't point that out to you, haha. This is all all open, sit anywhere you can find a spot type of area. Many people bring blankets to sit on, and this is recommended because lots of people tend to spill things on the ground.

People also create mosh pits in areas for the really rowdy crowds and jump and slam into each other in a fun way. The lawn also has great views of the stage, and the stage has huge projectors for close up shots of the performers to help with visuals.

Many performers will put on wild and crazy light shows, some with flames, and all types of cool things. Smoking is allowed here as it is outdoors, although I often get a whiff of something like a cigarette, but you can tell it's not a cigarette. I don't know what it is, but hey, you can smell it out in the lawn area. The lawn is usually for the wilder crowds that like to move around a lot.

Security is usually pretty good at these events, many large security guards as well as off duty police officers still in uniform. The drink and food prices are high, which is expected at an event like this. In the old days we used to be able to bring lots of goodies in with us, like lawn chairs, food, drinks, and other fun things. But thanks to 9/11, everyone now get patted down, scanned by wands, and only small clear bags are allowed. The restrooms are port-a-potties, so you get what you get, ha.

There is usually a lot going on around in the off stage areas such as many alcohol vendors may set up cool fun activities to promote their drinks, souvenir vendors ya know cause everyone has to have a T-shirt. And lots of food and drink vendors. It's all a good time, once inside and thru the security checks, which surprisingly seem to move pretty fast, it's fun times for the rest of the night.

This is a very popular stop for almost every major performer doing a national tour. So if you want to see a big name celebrity perform, they most likely will be here eventually. This is the biggest and best large open air arena Indiana has, so unless the performance is inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse (home of the Pacers), this is where it will be held. And I have been to them all, and this is the best place and the most fun to attend.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

Love it here. But my only complaint is that there was a gentleman having a medical emergency and I saw a man with a badge around his neck in plain clothes and asked him for help and he told me he was too busy and to find security, which we could not. He was headed to one of the beer counters, so I dont think he was "too busy" to help a man with a medical emergency. It took us about 20 minutes to find someone to help this man.

Went there for the Panic at the Disco and Weezer concert recently. Awesome venue, and great seating options. I greatly enjoyed my time there. I kinda wish there was some form of shuttles or something for some of the parking areas because some of them are a pretty far walking distance.

Fun!
