This was one of the best experiences that I have had in my life. I seen two greats at one time under the stars on a beautiful night. The only thing that sucked was the hill you have to walk up and down and the parking but it is worth every bit of it.

We went to see REO Speedwagon and Chicago. It was a great experience. This place is like a little town in and of itself. Everything is organized and put together great. Can't wait to go back

THE best concert venue in Indianapolis. Great views from the lawn which is also fun to bring a blanket with you and relax. Tickets are very fairly priced, sound system never fails, very fun to tailgate in the field before concerts. Negatives are since it become Ruoff the drink prices have skyrocketed. Parking upon arrival is directed, but at the end of the concert it is not directed well and it has been a mess at every concert I have been to. Still my preferred concert venue, always a great time!

The parking lot is free. That's nice. Its that rock like drive so your car will get all dirty from the powder flying all over the place.
People who tail gate dont give 2 cents about others. My vehicle was clean prior to going. I got up the next day and seen beer all over the hood or some type of liquid. Along with dick drawings all over the hood since it got dirty from the parking lot.
Broken glass was in the parking lot when leaving so I advise to buy the legacy parking and have your car in a more secure area. Plus you will have less a walk to get into the concert.
The sound of the concert was bad. The first singer came on and they had the bass too high and therefore we couldn't hear a single word from the singer. The last 3 singers they finally fixed the sound but it was upsetting to know they didn't do a sound check properly.
The concert itself is nice. It is outside but you have a roof above your head but to see the tv screens is a joke in the day light. They have chairs to sit in so bring a cushion or your ass will hurt. Nice thing is if the guy in front stands then you just stand up and can see over him cos the angle is slanted for that reason so that's nice.
Getting out is easy if you park close to an exit. Otherwise you may have difficulty due to high traffic which is expected.

Terrible. I understand we had a rain delay, but called and were told by several to wait in cars for rain delay which resulted in us missing our paid VIP experience. Then when we could enter the gates we asked and were given the run around so much so that we missed all but 3 songs of the first act..who we went to see.

The venue itself is great. The waitress stole money from my debit card!!!!! Very upsetting. Manager assured me the charges we're going to fall off. As of 240 Tuesday morning they're still there. This happened Saturday evening. Not a way to bring ppl back. And believe me I'm telling everyone I know what happened. Bad for business.

This place is probably my least favorite venue to see live music, especially if you have a lawn seat. Lawn seats have very limited views and you are usually surrounded by drunk college kids - you can bring blankets but dont expect to see anything. If you can afford it definitely buy pavillion seats. However, live nation does offer upgrades for tickets at the concert. There is a tent in the food/drink area right of the stage where you can upgrade to upper pavilion for $10 and lower pavilion for $20. Parking is free but it is horrible to try and get out of after the show. If you need to get home you need to sprint to your car after the encore ends. Last thing, drinks are INCREDIBLY expensive (like $14 for a Blue Moon expensive) so make sure you plan accordingly but be safe!!

I grew up in Markleville 30 minutes away. I have worked there. I have enjoyed shows there. A trues hidden gem of Indiana. Tom Petty always put on the best shows. Great environment, friendly staff and great people. A must see for concert fans. Best concert venue in Indiana. Hotels, camping, and interstate nearby. Restaurants, and shops within a mile of venue. When I pass please bury me at DEER CREEK (original name off venue).

We sat in the seating area. Good site lines. I went into the lawn area at one point to see the view from there and it was pretty good. No big screens like other outdoor venues but then I'm not sure you really need them. Our concert was delayed by weather and the parking lot was a mess but the grounds were in good shape. We would travel the two and a half hours plus to see a good band there again

Attended a concert and sat in the lawn seats. Even though we were so far back, the big screens we're perfect for us. The venue was very clean, including the rest rooms, and spacious enough that we weren't shoulder to shoulder with every person. I would absolutely visit here again!

High prices and poor sound quality. In years past the sound has been much better. It was very difficult to hear the songs and when the performers were speaking it was next to impossible to understand what they were saying.

Kiss killed it tonight, the venue is amazing. Great all around experience. I will be back again. Total capacity is around 24,000, we had legacy passes so parking was easy and leaving was a breeze.

One of my favorite venues in the whole country. There's not a bad seat in the house. The vender lines are always moderate as well due to the ample access around the venue; and for those who think prices are outrageous you should try some other venues.

We always try to get pavilion seats because the lawn is not the best. They always offer upcoming concerts at cheap rates. If it doesn't sell out, then you can upgrade to pavilion. The venue is okay but you cannot bring regular size lawn seats or any outside food or beverages. Everything is extremely overpriced too. It's close to the city, customer service is good.

Great place, all they need to do is ban cigarettes there. Vaping, cigars, pipes, pot, that's fine, but cigs stink up the place. And just put Deer Creek back in the name, people... everyone still calls it that anyway. ;) And a few words about the staff: they are exceptionally professional and friendly, from parking lot to top shelf bar, and all points in between. They make you feel welcome, and are an asset to the venue.

The security at this venue is horrible. I understand there s never enough security to go around but last night at the kid rock concert people were pooping in the lawn and my group was even peed on. There was a huge fight next to us. They were shoving people all day long to get where they needed to go. Stadium was over booked at least it felt like when it was an hour wait to get to the bathroom. When the concert was over we were waiting by the portapottys for the rest of our group to get done and security starts shoving us telling us that we had to move.

It just doesn't get much better than this place for an intimate experience with your favorite act, from The Grateful Dead, to Dave Matthews Band, Tom Petty, The Who, Journey, Cage the Elephant and countless other acts...this has always been THE place to see them live in Indiana. People come from several states away to go to "Deer Creek" as it will be affectionately called by locals, because it's just the best around. Pavilion seats are great and the lawn is always lively and an experience all its own. Lawn seats get fantastic coverage by 3 huge monitors and aren't too far away to see the smiles of the performers as well. If you can, do make it to this venue, you will never be let down. Pavilion is covered except for the last few rows in the event of rain. I've seen old biplanes flying low over the show, hot air balloons, and righteous lightning storms. The moon is big and bright and the experience of being here is only rivaled by a handful of venues in the nation...and I've been to many.

First of all, the legacy parking is well worth the money, but don't bother washing your car before you go since the lot is gravel and really dusty. Gates open an hour before the show so there is no walking around the venue before that. The picture is the view from row E in section G. We were closer than the picture looks. If you get seats right behind the suite box seating section, you have plenty of leg room a rail to kick your feet up on, and your very own cup holders. This is the more mild party section, compared to the lawn area. Had a great time and really enjoyed the show!

Love this place for concerts, I know where to park and when to arrive to be able to get the best parking to get out of there and not have to wait around forever. I love that you can upgrade as long as it's not sold out. Restrooms need better lighting though.

Super fun.... the concerts are !!! The drinks are super expensive $$$ but good...The Lawn area was crazy packed. If ur not feeling a rowdy crowd don't sit n the lawn, also bring a blanket. Bathrooms were decent and clean, lines move pretty fast!!!!

I have been to many great concerts here as well as some great comedy shows! Adam Sandler etc. I feel prices for drinks are high as heck! I don't mind being outside. What I love the most is memories made with the fam! How I love my brothers & sister. I'm grateful we have you so that we can get decent entertainment.

We always get lawn seats because we like to have a little space! Fast service at vendors and plenty of big screens too! Parking has improved this year. Like the express lane entrance if you are not bringing in any bags!
