Understaffed, no urgency from employees, long lines, less than usual Halloween decor. The app didnt work so you would know approx how long lines for rides were. As a season pass holder, I was VERY disappointed.

My two young kids and I had a great time. We have season passes with meal and drink plans. I think we will make great use of them this year. There is so much to do, we just scratched the surface. I don't think we will get bored!

i haven t been to kings dominions halloween haunt in about 3-4 years and i am highly upset at how 2018 s halloween haunt was so terrible this year. the mazes were a lot scarier when huge crowds of people weren t in front or behind you. i remember when they had us go in groups with about 6-8 people at a time so the mazes were a lot scarier without a mob of people in your way. and this year had ALMOST no actors and was honestly more PG for children even though the website clearly states that children under 13 were recommended not to attend. not to mention how unorganized everything was! people couldn t even find the beginning of the lines because no one was directing anything so of course a lot of people cut in line...If you re trying to get your butt scared i would highly NOT recommend going to kings dominions halloween haunt this year. try busch gardens

The computer processed my credit card information for a Season Pass although I hadn't click OK, and not only did their agent Ethel refuse to credit this first payment, but also the installments payment for July, and August! So much for "customer first"!

I have been coming here all my life. Every ride is great, though the scenery is not exemplary and the staff are mostly bland and forgettable, sometimes even rude. I must warn you not to go on the right (blue) side of the Rebel Yell as it will most likely HURT to ride it (your body jiggles up and down and it hurts a ton!), and the ferris wheel has been downgraded so that it lasts around 2 minutes and then you're forced to get off the ride. They don't even use all the gondolas, so there's no reason for such short ride times. Other than that, the rides are fantastic, though some get closed more often than others. The line for the Volcano is always long, so arrive early or wait until late!

Last night was one of my worst amusement park experiences. This was my third time to Halloween Haunt this year. The park is extremely understaffed and poorly managed. The wait times for some rides were over 2 hours going towards 3 hours. Most coasters were running 1 load of cars. I felt like they wanted the long wait times. The park was completely overcrowded. So much so the local police had to come help maintain crowd control. The haunted house inside Flight of Fear was fun but having it and Volcano closed is absolutely obsurd. Management completely messed up this experience this year.

An amazing park with amazing coasters. Make sure to marathon Anaconda and to ride Intimidator 305 in backseat. All of the other roller coasters are amazing and I would come here way more if I could.

Better than Disney world when it comes to rides, food prices are on the high end so maybe pack a cooler full of stuff in you car for lunch and/or dinner. Get their early and you can ride all the rides with no lines.

Year 2 for Winterfest. Didn't go last year but that's ok. Kid friendly environment. Lots of singing and holiday characters. Stop by the Peanuts area where they set up the petting zoo and nativity. Stages everywhere all doing different themed shows. If you dont have a season pass, get the big package. 47 dollars/person definitely worth it for single or doubles. Big families may just need admission and food. Our package was admission, parking, single meal, and souvenir cup. Do the math and it's 30+20+11+food prices. Turkey meal was listed at 15. So that's $76 vs 47. So I paid 94 instead of 132 (20 less for parking one vehicle - math would have been 152. )

Pay for some extras. Cookies with Mrs. Claus is definitely worth it. Tons of fun. Family igloos to rent if you need some space and chill time. Ice skating around the entrance pond. 4 adults had a great time, even without taking kids. Busch may have a more adult oriented theme, but KD may end up being a Christmas challenger.

Have been there 3 times in the past 2 years. Every. Single. Time. They have had MAYBE 2 decent roller coasters open, besides the kid carnival rides. Tired of waisting over $100 for tickets and an hour and a half trip for 2 roller coasters. They are all always being worked on and nothing posted about rides being down ect. You dont know until you get there. With the money this place makes they should have no problem maintaining these rides. Its ridiculous.

Some of the rides were okay. But they seem outdated. I dont know if they are keeping up with the competition well. Rides didnt have fans blowing in 104 degree weather. Kinda glad we only got one day tickets.

I loved this place and the campground attached to it . The sites are fabulous. The park has a ton 9f great rides and a water park . The water park was awesome from slide to a lazy river . And also you can rent Cabanas for a fairly good price. The Cabanas allow you safe storage of your stuff.

Nice theme park with with lots to do. But you can definitely tell that they are not up to date with technology. Something as simple as ride wait times posted by the rides or as part of the mobile app would be a great addition.

Never unbearably crowded, water park and theme park all in one, pretty enough environment (flowers etc) simply to walk around even if you don't do rides, rides for all levels of thrill seekers.

This theme park is okay. They have a couple rides that are fun like the "UFO" ride and the Dominator. The Intimidator was unfortunately down and it's the best ride in the park so that took away from the experience. A bottle of water is $4.95. Also, they do not have many appealing attractions like Six Flags Great Adventure. Overall, I would say its worth a visit because of the area that its located but its not worth a long distance trip.

I should start by saying I'm not a theme park person in general. The lines were long, large groups of unruly kids, and we didn't find any healthy food options. That being said, it was fairly clean, there were ample bathrooms and we'r had fun. It's all about building memories, and that we did. Mission accomplished.

Kings dominion through the years has become known for one of a kind thrills as well as great family rides, entertainment and landmarks for coaster junkies and enthusiasts alike.

Newly renovated rides and bringing back classics like the singing mushrooms and safari village's hungry hippo restaraunt makes it a place everyone has to visit.

And HAUNT is amazing as well. Lol.

There is 4 things i did not like

There is 4 things i did not like
1 the staff is very rude
2 the food is very pricey
3 halloween feast is not that scary they need to follow people and scare them all around
4 there should be a test and try at every restaunt

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ESPECIALLY THE SUPERVISOR NAMED TIM WHO I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET IN CONTACT WITH FOR WELL OVER 2 MONTHS!! EVERY TIME I LEAVE A VOICEMAIL NO CALL BACK... EVERY TIME I CALL THE RECEPTIONIST SAYS "HE'S OUT OF THE OFFICE"... WHEN YOU ASK TO SPEAK TO HIS SUPERVISOR MAGICALLY THAT PERSON IS ALWAYS OUT OF THE OFFICE AS WELL!! NEVER KNEW KINGS DOMINION WAS SO MONEY HUNGRY THAT THEY HAVE NO PRINCIPLES FOR HOLDING UP TO THE IMPORTANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I JUST WANTED TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS MY FAMILY'S PASSES VIA ONLINE... HOWEVER NOW I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK!!

First time visiting and the parkhead very reasonable, short lines for almost all the rides. We were able to get on almost anything within 30 minutes. It was odd however that anytime you try to have a conversation with any member of the staff they were completely clueless and unable to provide any answers with finding something in the park or even knowing anything about the rides or the food.

Not my dream theme park but an undeniably fun way to spend the day. The thrill rides are really good, the food isn't half-bad, and *most* rides have fast moving lines. *Most*. Plus their Halloween Haunt is my choice Halloween activity of choice.

Today was the perfect day to visit Kings Dominion. Lines were short, the park was not crowded all the staff we encountered were super friendly. We had a small delay on the Apple Dapple and the two girls working the ride gave people in line water while we waited. They were so kind and thoughtful!

When rides are open its not a bad place to spend a few hours... food and games are very expensive but what amusement park isn't .... coasters are good/fair.... KD is the bottom of the barrel for Cedar Fair .... but with the little it has it's all we have that's close otherwise is a 2 hour drive to BG..

I am a season pass holder, and I know Winterfest has only been around for two seasons, but there needs to be more free things to do. The need to have mazes/walk throughs just like Halloween Haunt, because otherwise I don't think it's worth it for the price for a single day admission to Winterfest. The gingerbread funnel cake is my favorite. But more activites need to be included in the admission fee.

Love coming here, the rides are great. The bad thing is Kings Dominion doesn't offer a rainy day ticket. If it's a thunderstorm everything pretty much shuts down which I totally understand but you're beat for a rainy day ticket. You just gotta suck it up or leave. Hershey Park though offers a rainy day ticket for bad weather. Looks like I'll just stick with Hershey.
