Feeling isolated in your own home is awful go to magenta for help to be not belived and your new housing officer not believing a word you say live with your curtains constantly closed it's now what was a loving family home to feeling so isolated and alone

We own a flat managed by Magenta

The tenent above us sublet his flat to some scumbags. They had no respect for the place or people in the building. They were violent and played loud music all day and night. It took us six months of battling to have them removed from the building. We had to spend Christmas and new year in a hotel to get some time to relax.

We were told the flats would only be given to professionals and people without children. That was a lie as the new tenet has kids that run around and play football inside.

The staff at Magenta work hard and are lovely. It's just a shame that they only seem to give the rental flats to weed smoking scum on benefits who don't work and just spend all their time drinking outside. The building is well manintain and look lovely. Not a day gose by without noise or something happening to break the calm.

Poor show. Already looking to move.... again.

Bunch of absolute jobsworth liars. Only one thing they care about - money in their pocket. They cut corners wherever possible and fob you off. Zero stars would be more realistic.

Everything has stepped up since my last review, excellent customer services, the staff are all brilliant over the last months couldn't help enough or put you in the direction of someone who can, thanks for all your help guys

Magenta are brilliant... They gave me a flat when i was struggling massively to find a place to live with my dad going into care and caring for him for so long all of a sudden i had no where to go... The repairs are always very fast and can't compliment then enough.

I am a tenant with magenta and can honestly say that the two years i have lived in one of there flats has been trouble free and no problems at all, the staff are friendly and polite and on the ocasions i have been to magenta living offices to pay rent etc the people there have always been great and never in a rush to get rid of you and happy to chat, i am pleased with my flat and would recommend magenta to anyone looking for a decent affordible rent property.

Only care about money. Get money in and then stuff people. Build "affordable homes" behind existing tenants, who's gardens are waterlogged (yes, the new homes are built over a water course); a year of extreme noise, a year of extreme disruption, but stuff you.

Thus far I have had a mixed review with Magenta living, the main cause for the four starts is the total lack of communication these people seem to have with tenants. i.e. not setting up a direct debit correctly ect. however they do come and carry out repairs in a reasonable time frame

Too quick to attempt reposessing some ones home over a small rent arrears, petty and at times almost borderline harassment, most unprofessional housing manager obviously looking for promotion,

Fairly new Tennant with magenta I've lived in my property for just upto 1 year, I have had numerous times where I have had to call about an problem with the property the people on the phone are absalutly lovely and same goes for the "on floor staff" but unfortunately I've found a fair amount of the contractor's magenta use are not doing the best of there abilities.. this is the only downfall to magenta

Magenta is a housing association looking after a housing block. Looks very well from the outside but could do with a renovation inside.

Magenta work well with a number of community groups and are helpful in developing local projects. I have always been pleased in my dealings with them.

When magenta first took over from WPH everything seemed promising, how wrong I was!
I ve been a council tenant for 15 and a half years and never experienced problems like I have with these. They promise the earth and don t deliver. We ve been promised all sorts of repairs, re-fits etc and are long OVERDUE certain necessary repairs that are ignored when ever I try to report them, often met with patronising comments and passed pillar to post.
For example, the electrics in this house were checked earlier this year, we were told that the house hasn t had a re-wire probably since it was first built, the electric box is out of date, 1970 s it was fitted in, we were told this would be replaced ASAP, that was in January! The repair has been pending in my online account since then and now magically wiped off the system?! It s now November and nothing, that s how urgent they are!

They have found every avenue they possibly can to avoid doing any extensive work on our house which has probably cost more money and time in the long run!
Like I ve said to them, if I could get a mortgage I would, but I can t, I pay my hard earned cash to them and for what?
Very very frustrating!
On the plus side, they receive my rent swiftly every week without fail. Thankyou.

Horrible company put tennants in next door to us we own our house so can't move bn complaining for month's so have other neighbours and the do nothing we're dealing with a rat infestation because of their tenants and magenta refuse to do anything about it the police are there 3 or 4 times a week because the start fighting when their drunk and the last time I phoned magenta and spoke to a horrible woman called Jean who refused to do anything and made out it was our fault

I am not a Magenta Living tenant, but I do have a lot to do with tenants who come in to our community hub and it's seems that they are very slow at doing repairs or helping tenants when they are having problems.
On a personal experience I would agree that they can be slow with repairs, but I have dealt with a few members of their staff and have found most of them to be supportive and helpful on a number of occasions.

Had a new Magenta tenant move in next door a few months ago (I am a private owner) and she has been nothing but trouble and Magenta don't do anything about her

She fly tips over her fence on to my property,blocks my drive on purpose, winds neighbours up and plenty more..Latest one is she is hanging barbed wire in a noose over my fence and magenta promise to ring me back and have not

Tenants like these should not live among nice people...She even threw in to a skip (caught on camera) the traffic cones put on by the council to protect the road and pavement whilst digging holes for an electricity cable

I am a magenta tenant and have been for a couple of years, the repairs centre are brilliant to a certain extent better than private any day, I've only got one big problem I was late by 24 hours to pay rent and had a letter through the next day, I rang a person called Lauren H, she spoke to me derogatory treated my tenancy contract and generally irate over the phone she was that bad I told her to calm down, the best part is I only rang up to see how far behind I was so I could make a payment to bring it up to date I got fed up of her attitude on the phone, I just went down to magenta in person and paid the lovely receptionists on the front desk, very pleasant people who could understand what her drama was over, I hope magenta read these posts and help Lauren H, she clearly has zero people skills and a chip on her shoulder it's just naughty the way she tried to belittle me over the phone for a 24 hour miss payment due to banking set ups that take a little time, honestly disappointed if this is how they deal with everyone in the rents payment department of magenta, otherwise all good

Terrible landlords. I was given 1 weeks notice to move myself and my 2 young children into our house a week before Christmas. The condition of the entire house and gardens were bordering on derelict. Magentas Tenancy Enforcement officers are rigid, inflexible, autonomous bigots, from management down. Keep records of everything, take photographs of the state of their houses, and if you re unlucky enough to have the enforcement team on your back, record every word said. They facilitate bullying of vulnerable children and adults, by taking seriously complaints from neighbours such as a teenage nephew calling to see me on a Sunday afternoon. Another belter was that I close my wheelie bin lid too loudly. Yes, Magenta took these complaints seriously. They ve caused me (a single, disabled mum of 2) and my children untold stress and anxiety. Any trouble they cause you, or unacceptable housing standards, tell your local MP. I told mine and they re NOT happy with how Magenta Living operate.

Myself and the other residents in the block of flats have been charged twice for gutter repairs when they've not been carried out. Which are in an awful state.
There's been on occasion in 6 years when the blokes came round to clean the gutters.
I left my flat front door keys in the lock on the outside, an independent contractor spotted them and thought he was doing the right thing by handing them into the Magenta hub with my flat address.
Magenta didn't bother to contact me with this information and for all I knew, I'd lost them and had to go about getting replacement keys. A week later, I bumped in the independent contractor who mentioned the keys and then explained that he'd handed them into Magenta. A phone call to Magenta and the very polite and friendly staff said, yes, there here at the front desk.
I did ask why no one could have contacted me, a letter, a phone call, a text. They're constantly sending out letters for everything else. The manager made a lot of excuses which were all very pathetic instead of admitting they'd messed up.
Just an awfully organised company. The staff on the ground are very nice.

Im proud to say i work for magenta.we try our best to help wherever we can .

Every time I have had to contact them, my issues have always been resolved, usually via a phone call, to a very positive outcome!

Waited 3 weeks to get an appointment for a roofer to come to my property. Every time we have heavy rain my kitchen gets flooded as there is a soil pipe that comes from the roof into the bathroom then into the kitchen. I was booked in for between 8 and 12.30. I rang at 1pm to advise that no-one had arrived and was told that they were running late. Rang again at 4pm and was told that they are now not attending today as they are short staffed. After getting annoyed I have been told I will be the first job tomorrow. Watch this space. When I asked why no-one could have let me know that I would not be getting seen to today no explanation

Absolutely disgusting customer service!! Don t answer phones!! Don t acknowledge repairs in timely manner!! Basically don t give a ************Head of Magenta Living Should be held accountable for its staffs failures !!!

Only landlord I've had that offers real, practical help when things go awry. My life changed suddenly and unexpectedly in 2016 and they've been an immense help to me at every twist and turn since then, above and beyond expectations. Extremely grateful to Magenta Living and their outstanding staff, at every level.

I have lived in a magenta house for many years .I have had a new roof .new kitchen new bathroom never had any problems .first call at office the work is sorted straight away .nice polite friendly staff .rents officers are great any problems its sorted out again straight away .

This review is based upon the 'neighbourhood management team' at magenta living.
The worker I had Richard O'Neill whom was very unhelpful and insensitive in our difficult situation with the next door neighbours. Anytime there was an incident he would never believe us or make efforts to investigate the situation fully. My ec4 neighbour had previously been proven to have made a long list of false allegations against myself and partner on several occasions. As they were home owners as Magenta had limited power in what they could enforce legally rather than actually say this it projected as disbelief for the reality of the situation. We either didn't have enough evidence or the evidence wasn't good enough. I was even physically attacked and no action was taken however, would this have been my actions Richard would have dealt straight away. The whole situation was very stressful, neighbour issues affect your mental health and affect most parts of your life. The neighbours narsassitic boyfriend who moved in next door would play mind games bought a 5 cars just so we had nowhere to park installed a total of 12 cctv cameras a few of these pointing at the property I was living in at the time. These cameras also decided audio it was very invasive and affected both my partner children and I dramatically. Nothing was ever pursued against them and for some reason we were never believe even though the evidence was there in black and white didn't take a genius to work out was going on. Both my partner and I had our cars damaged on several occasions. Everyday I would wake up to be accused of something else it was exhausting. Ironically the week we moved out the cars were all got rid of and he left her, but no I was the crazy one for knowing he clearly was there to get his kicks from bullying us and getting inside our heads. Magenta did not help were unsupportive and majority of the time made things worse. Even when I had evidence they had got certain incidents wrong it was never followed up. I was basically called unstable by Richard and told to go and see a doctor? Thats the whole point of the game for the narsassist to push you over the edge and for others to perceive you unstable... perhaps magenta should receive better training to deal with such issues

They are only interested in getting their money from you,asked them for help in moving,but still waiting 2 year's on,avoid them at all cost

Booked 3weeks ago to have my shower looked at... got given the 23rd Feb so took afternoon off wk and nobody turns up so not happy
