Worst experience I ever had at a resort! Tried to put my family of 6 in 2 separate units across street from each other! No linens in room! Ants everywhere. Asked to have room taken care of never came! No restaurant u can sit at. No alcohol anywhere andy frowned upon if u bring any! The food place they had was below standards. They re gift store was non existant! Spoke to manager multiple times was very unpleasent! Checked out early as ants were crawling on us when we slept. Was asked how our stay was and explained situation. She asked what manager I spoke to. I pointed to the woman I did who basically ignored me the whole time! So very sad. So if u want to go to a place with no food, no drink, no real activities, no flithy looking units, non responsive management etc! This is the place for u. If u want service fun activities don have to drive everywhere for a meal or even coffee and a Nosh. Then it s not! #horriblenevergoingback!!

Picked up this vacation as a promotional package. Staying in the cottages as it is just the wife and me. The property is nice with several pools and amenities. Of course there was a sales pitch, but they were not "used car" pushy. The cottage was not as clean as expected, cigarettes outside the door on the porch a mystery substance on the bathroom floor and a hidden spoon in the garage disposal. And houses are divided in half which if not friends or family can make for a unpleasant stay. Nothing like door slams at 3am to sour a night's sleep. But that is not the resorts fault, but it is a design flaw. Convenient location to all the attractions is a huge plus. Keep your expectations at the 2 or 3 star level and you won't be disappointed.

Very nice place to stay. My teen would have liked a deeper pool so he could dive. But I liked that the was and shallow area for the little ones. Also need to up grade the mini golf and rides on the bus to different places in Williamsburg should have been included in the price to stay. It was cheaper to drive and park ourselves.

Avoid this place! I've seen bigger showers in a RV! You have to empty the trash and wash the dishes before you leave. The mattress was sooo noise, ever time my hubby moved it would wake me. Stay at the Marriott!

My friend invited me to his time share this weeken...

My friend invited me to his time share this weekend and I was super pumped to come, however when they were promised a $100 gift card if they were to take a tour, my friend was not able to take it. His wife was in a class all day and couldn t come, but they did not allow him to take the tour, becuse they said she had to be there. I hate people who can t deliver on a promise. I was thinking about buying a time share here, but now I will go out of my way to tell everybody I know not to buy the time share by any means necessary!

Great place for a large family vacation. Bike trails, gym, inside and outside pools and hit tubs, steam rooms, saunas, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, miniature golf, game room, and plenty of places to ride a bike.

Was promised a lot of things from the ct golf show...

Was promised a lot of things from the ct golf show and when I was down here but never got any type of free golf golf, was lied to multiple times. The lady at the front desk was extremely unfriendly and not accommodating to my daughter that threw up the entire way here in the car. When I checked in and was told it would be a while for the room, said I would receive a call I never got. The room grounds are more than fine, but the service and salesmanship that went on from buying my package to the tour guide Ryan promising me a round of golf I never received, just terrible. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING KINGS MILLS OR CREEK TO ANYONE

I am visiting with friends at their time share and there are lots of issues with there unit. We are finding so many issues that I would not be interested is purchasing here. The unit is large and convenient to everything and that is why I am giving it 3 stars.

High pressure sales on their sales. Cheaply made buildings. Thought the neighbors on our side were in our bedroom. Neighbor above us made us think the ceiling would fall in. We will never recommend a place like this to anyone. Buyer / vacationer BEWARE !!!

We were so impressed with the resort and the people working there. 5 star service, clean, quiet, and roomy. I hosted authors thete for a convention and being minutes from historical places of interest gavs us so much to do afterwards. You will not be disappointed. Treat yourself and your family!

We had a family / friends get together and it was unbelievably wonderful the place that we stayed in is so clean and so up-to-date we were able to rent several units my family was and my friends were greatly pleased at the accommodations the property and the grounds are beautiful the walk on the grounds is wonderful there are places for kids to play there are several who's on the grounds as well as hot tubs the staff is very courteous and friendly and helpful and very professional.

Ive stayed at 3 different resorts in Williamsburg ...

Ive stayed at 3 different resorts in Williamsburg area and this was by far the worst. It was fairly clean but alittle run down. We stayed in a 2 bdrm with a 1 bdrm lockout attached for my parents. I had to call for some things that were supposed to be in the room like extra blankets, sheets and pillows and there was no cable box connected to the TV in the living room. The mattress was uncomfortable in the master, the other mattresses were better. The cottage was cute with plenty of room for 8. Laundry was key for me with 4 kids so that was great to have. Kitchen was nice. Carpets and furniture seemed run down. There was a lack of activities for the kids compared to other places. There seemed to always be a problem with the hot tubs and/ or pools. All but one hot tub were either half full, cold or the jets werent working. The resort staff was attentive and accomidating but im not sure why the maintenance was lacking. Theres a little shop to buy coffee, etc but you had to leave the property to buy milk or bread etc. No pool side bar for icey drinks or beer. The best part about this place is its location to parks and attractions. Perfectly situated but meh I wont be back, it needs improvement.

Came here for a 3 night stay and we had to endure to sales presentation. Left after 2 nights and did not buy or give into the sales. The room was ok, a few cobwebs in the corner. Clean linens.

Loved this resort... once we upgraded out of the Cottages. Wasn't a good fit for us with a toddler. The 1 bedroom in the Estates was wonderful! Food at the pool was great. Staff was always polite! My toddler loved the shallow end of the pool in the Estates. I heard there is a kiddie pool in the Townes as well!

Last year I wrote a review about a mouse that was in my 2 bedroom townhouse and how my brother had to assist the maintenance man in catching the mouse. Well due to last years incident they gave me a comp stay good for 1yr. I visited kings creek again and needless to say they need some serious help!!! My stay was from June 1st-4th and this time my siblings along with our parents stayed at the resort. Everything was good until day 2, they all rented their own cottages which suited the size and need of their family's comfort. My mother and father had a 1 bedroom which was adjoined to my brothers 2 bedroom cottage and my sister had her own 1 bedroom cottage as well. Day 2 I walked into my brother's cottage and it was a strong odor of gas in the cottage. I quickly called the front desk and with 10 mins a maintenance staff member showed up. He advised that he could smell it from the stairs leading into the cottage and quickly turned off the gas to the fireplace in the living room. I advise my parents as to what was going on and that they should get out as the gas was that strong. My brother and his wife had a tour that was scheduled that morning at 9am. I contacted the manager Ms king and told her what was going on, I was at the outdoor pool with my brothers kids and my child when I got a call back from Ms King advising since I had a comp stay they would not be refunding my brother or parents any money. This highly upset me as my mother is older, and has various health issues to begin with. After an hr I drove to the main office and Wanda Penn who is President of Operations was behind the desk. This woman is rude, mor friendly and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. She was loud and tried to berate me until other guest started to show up in the lobby and asked if I would follow her to her office. There she was nasty rude and wouldn't let me speak, when I left her office she followed me to the front door advising I could feel free to make a complaint. As I left i saw my brother and his wife getting in the golf cart to tour the properties, I advised him what just happened and the lady driving the cart was upset that I was telling him what was going on while other people were on the same tour and cart. She stopped at the office and called the police on me!! The cops came as they said they were called because they received a complaint about disorderly conduct on the property. I told the cops what transpired and they got the key from my sister in law to visit their cottage. Once there they too were overwhelmed by the odor of gas. Needless to say the cops called the fire dept not management!!!! While all this was transpiring Wanda nor Ms King contacted my brother or father to advise they were getting another unit ready for them 2hrs and 45 mins my mom sat in the car. Once the police arrived they had another u it ready within 20 mins. In the midst of this I promptly emailed Kevin Jones as he's one of the owner's of this resort so far no email or phone call returned. Wanda and Ms King are horrible and took what could of been a trip that killed my brother and parents extremely light. Money a comp stay cannot replace the value of life or a loved one. I will never stay at this place ever again. I would advise anyone who reads this not to stay there either.

Haven't been there but just received a cold call f...

Haven't been there but just received a cold call from their telemarketing department because of a Sweepstakes card i filled out at a Golf show. Their course and facilities might be excellent but this review is solely in regards to their telemarketing staff. The first gentleman was nice and made it the 4 day trip package like a good deal, in actuality it was a good deal. He put the "manager" on the phone for an "added bonus" that i qualified for being over a certain age. The manager began by telling me this deal is only good for the next two minutes because he's not calling me back. Already starting to show his attitude, I told him that i don't just buy a deal from a cold call without doing research and he says, "well Google us right now because you only have 2 minutes to take it", then he proceeds with "you had all this time after filling out the card, why didn't you research us then. I filled the card out a year go by the way.

Keep in mind this card that i filled out was for a sweepstakes drawing, not for calling me about promotions. If i didn't win the sweepstakes then they shouldn't be calling me in the first place but that's what they always do so i understand they're trying to get business. Well the manager kept on about how i had so much time to research them and i told him that i filled out a lot of cards that day and what does he expect me to do, research every golf course that i filled out a card for?.. So he told me "well don't fill out cards anymore", and then hung up..

The first part of the call sounded great and I would have definitely considered the package had they given me time to research them but the "manager" was not so rude. If they read this, hopefully they understand that they called me for business, therefore, they need to learn to show respect to potential business contacts instead of downplaying us like we need their service. Their loss as I travel often for golf (Florida this weekend and either MD or Va in mid/late March).

2nd time here. 1st visit we stayed in the cottages...

2nd time here. 1st visit we stayed in the cottages very decent, this visit was at the townhomes...room dirty, dark and old furniture...carpet was filthy. Even the paper towel looked dirty. Arrived at 330p and needed to turn on lamps room was dark and dismal. S/w front desk and at first they said there was no other rooms...but after I persisted they found me another room. 2nd room was better, brighter room and updated carpet... appliances r old, 22inch TV, outside area appeared to have not been swept, cleaned. In a while. Spider webs everywhere...totally unimpressed! Front desk didn't do much to make me happy! Will not stay here again! Might as well stayed at Super 8!!

Stayed here on the 4th & 5th of Feb for my Anniver...

Stayed here on the 4th & 5th of Feb for my Anniversary. Our stay was a gift from a family member who has a timeshare here. Everything was nice as far as I could see. I liked the fact that the place was empty. The cottage we stayed in was nice and clean. Staff was nice.

I checked out the pool and fitness centers. The fitness room seemed a bit small and on the crowded side. However the locker rooms feature showers, stalls, lockers (with keys), and even a sauna. They have a nice sized indoor pool and hot tubs as well as outdoor pool and hot tub. They also have a smaller outside kiddie pool off to the side of the larger pool.

Got offered a "FREE/COMPLEMENTARY" vacation in order to attend to a timeshare presentation there. The vacation wasn't free and KCP refused to compensate us for missing a day of work and travelling all the way their. The 3rd party that schedules it is all the way in the Philippines and change their phone number every 90 days. SCAM!!!

The amenities are great, people at the front desk are very helpful. Our neighbors were very noisy, but we tried to stay out during the day. They were also smokers. However, we loved our trip to Williamsburg, and this facility. We would definitely come back.

We love it here! Every time we have stayed the staff has been friendly, the Estates where we stay are clean and our family has so much fun! There is a lot to do on the property and even more fun day trips and activities to do around the area. We look forward to coming to stay here every summer! My family and I highly recommend King's Creek Plantation, you won't be disappointed!

On the day of our tour and after buying Into the r...

On the day of our tour and after buying Into the resort, we left a bag with our Mac in it accidentally in the room. Communication was so poor no one knew or cared to know if it had been turned in. Had to drive two hours back to sight only to be told by front desk Ricky that they were not responsable and that no one was to held accountable. It was later reported that an employee had broken protocol and after removing it from the room, locked it in a van. Only after threatening to call the police and speaking with the Vice President of sales were we able to get our property back. Natalie and Ricky provided the worst and rudest customer service I have ever seen and seemed to believe that employees should not be held responsable for items they take from the rooms after you have left. The employee who had the computer never reported it in the course of the day. Once we got the backpack back we noticed it had been gone through which means they knew they were in possession of the Mac. This is the rudest and most disrespectful contact I have with resort employees in all my travels and as an owner feel that we can not even confidently leave items in our rooms if what these two desk people said is true: employees are not responsable for lost or stolen items!! They have a blank check to rob guests blind with zero backlash from management

Great property. Not much for kids on site but pools and a few little parks. You have to leave the property to do a lot of stuff which is an inconvenience with a timeshare. No restaurant on site just food delivery and some don't deliver but certain times and a certain menu. They need to have more organized activities for vacationers on property. And I am a owner by the way didn't know before I bought.

My husband and I stayed here this passed week and it was okay. When we got there, the refrigerator smelled like a dead fish had rotted away in it and the apartment (the "estate") smelled like smoke and the air filter to the apartment was absolutely filthy. They were very accommodating and came out to clean the fridge and change the air filter. The fridge smelled a little better, but not much, I had to wash everything that I brought home with me.

The grill outside of our "estate" was probably a great grill when it was brand new, however, they did not maintain it well and it wouldn't light. Thank goodness I know how to "grill" inside with the oven broiler.

The carpets weren't cleaned to our standards of our own home, but we use a rainbow vacuum cleaner that has an amazing hepa filter to it.

The laundry was amazing! If we had the same set up in our old apartment, we would have stayed there longer! I came home with all clean clothes! :)

All in all, I think they need to do a better job at maintaining the properties, especially when people are actually paying dues to the company for the maintenance of the properties.

I really wish there were something lower than one ...

I really wish there were something lower than one star. These people are relentless with the marketing calls. I've asked at least 50 times to be removed from the call list. I called the hotel and asked that they stop and still at least three times a week I get a call from Kings Creek Plantation. I will NEVER stay there and I will never recommend that any of my guests, friends or family stay there.

Everything was really good. Everything was clean. It was very convenient getting to Busch Gardens and Williamsburg. The only thing we did not like. The concierge was trying to get us to buy a Timeshare and she was very persistent after I had stated I was not interested

Needs a update bugs and spiders in the entryway. Gash along the wall inside unit. Ja jacuzzi in unit only had one properly working jet. I did like the Starbucks machine they had in the main office. I also liked the close proximity to Target with was also helpful.

Me and Family stayed here June 8 thru June 11 2012...

Me and Family stayed here June 8 thru June 11 2012. Me and my Wife had the tour while the children played in the indoor pool. After about 2.5 hours of some great customer service and showing us some properties that were available at the time, we first looked at the 2 bedroom cottage which we were already staying in which was nice with the extra 1 bedroom in side B which made it a little more expensive b/c you had access to both sides. Then we looked at a 2 bedroom townhouse which was quite comfortable and yet cozy with the additional sun room or optional bedroom which makes it a 3 bedroom. It had nice king size bed w/ a two person jacuzzi inside the room, nice size kitchen and wet bar, table for six and all the upgrades the cottage didn't have. After carefully considering our options from a vacationing stand point we decided on the townhouse. Slept real good while I was there NO PROBLEMS at all with construction but they are still building on this beautiful property and the possibilities are endless for this property. Quality excellent and everyone greeted you with a smile. Will be going back soon some time this year, my children already asking when we're going back and come down for their birthdays. Hey also recieved 4 free busch gardens pass. WIN WIN both ways A+ rating with me and my family.

I stayed at the location for the Easter weekend. Upon checking out and driving back to NC I remembered that I left my Microsoft surface 3 on the table in the room. I called back and was told that they would go retrieve my property for me. They never contacted me . I had to call back the total of 6 times to finally have them say that it wasn't in the room. There is no way possible for it not to be in the room when I myself placed it on the table myself. My question is how does it disappear from a room that I and the staff only have the keys to the room. By the way 3 different people told me that they would go check for me and it took the 4th person to say it wasn't there. Now that was 24hrs later after I had called the first time the day before which there was three phone calls made. All I can do now is file a police report by driving another 41/2 hrs back to the property.
