We have been going here every summer for the last few years. We love it! The staff is great, the amenities are nice, and the area is wonderful! There is so much to do. We always go to Busch Gardens one day, and spend our last day at the pool. Last year we went to Yorktown Beach (Nearby area with water and sand - perfect for our little ones and not too busy), the year before we went to Virginia Beach (a little farther drive but a great beach). We have explored Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, along with good restaurants (Shorty's Diner, Carrot Tree Kitchen) and breweries in the area. We have never been bored or disappointed. We look forward to going again this summer to explore and make more memories here. Thank you!

My stay was a little disappointing. I own a timeshare with Sheraton but I exchanged it to stay in Virginia at this resort. I stayed 7 days and not once was there a cleaning service. No fresh towels offered. I guess since there was a washer/dryer I was expected to wash the towels daily? My home resort provides those things without request. No one called to ask how the stay was or anything? I felt forgotten. The positive was the living quarter was clean and up to date. If I ever exchange again, I know what questions to ask. I want to feel like I m on vacation not like I m just renting a place to stay with the same daily chores

Great location, so close to Historic Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Close to a lot of shopping areas. Unit was clean, well stocked with the items we'd need for cooking. Had fun with the kids at the playground and mini golf course. The pool was nice, especially the hot tub and pizza from Shorty's!

We had a problem with the bathroom faucet and the microwave turntable was not the correct one. Ken in maintenance did a wonderful job of making sure both problems were taken care of.

Thanks, Ken!! You rock!!!

The sales pitch claims say no and you can go about your day. This was not the case. VP was very annoying using predatory sales tactics. Room has structural flaws. Obvious water damage around windows. Furniture was uncomfortable. Racheal was nice though so they get a second star.

We said no needed in house improvements but the only concern was we did not get what we initially put deposit on and this caused us more than we was advertised. But once we got in we enjoyed the stay. It was like home away from home. Thank you.

Place is nice. Not the regular timeshare experience. They don't pressure you. Good value for what they offer. Third party sales outside of resort not very truthful. They need to have their own people selling to outsiders

First the good: had wifi, looked nice, fair amount of activities. The bad: the bed in our unit did not sleep well. I expected that for me as I have a bad back. My husband does not and had the same soreness and stiffness. The room while it had the appearance of cleaniness...scuff marks on the floor, on the walls, an m&m left from a previous visitor, gum under the night stand in the smaller bedroom, and literal poo on our bathroom wall. My first day was spent cleaning. I am OCD so maybe it wouldn't bother anyone else. Our second day, we spent the first 2 hours repeatedly telling the timeshare company no. Yes I realize it's your job to try your hardest to sell me on this idea, however, we had four very cranky children and were lied to multiple times by our sales woman. The biggest being this is a once in a lifetime offer ...only to leave and go on their website and find the exact same deal. The breaking point for me was when her boss decided to make fun of my husband for working in tech support. I laughed in his face gathered our children and left. The pools, while lovely were not anything special and many of the outdoor ones needed repair ( I cut my foot on a piece of chipped tile on the stairs leading into it). Oh and if you do find yourself in need of the equipment they promise in the pamphlet to provide ( pack and play, high chair, remotes, etc.) Be prepared to wait at least a full 24 hours. I will say every experience we had outside of the unit was fantastic. But for me and my family, this place isn't for us.

PLEASE PEOPLE DO NOT BUY INTO THIS TIMESHARE I AM PRE- WARING YOU. I would give this place one star be they do not desire it. I had to give them one star because it would not allow me to create this post.First do not invest or time or money with this place. I am currently a unsatisfied owner. That have been trying to get from under this timeshare but every time I have tried I get hit with a different fee. They cancelled my reservation without notifying me at all. I have been getting wrong information by several people that work for this company. I approved proof that showed them that the information was wrong the only thing that they told me was sorry. King's Creek Plantation is the most sorriest company ever.

Warning! Do not buy a Timeshare at Kings Creek! They will promise you a whole lot and most of it you're already entitled to. It's a cool place to stay a week but do not purchase. The interest- rate is double-digit and they will tell you you can easily refinance (not true).

It was a convenient home away from home. Located near historic Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, the plantation is in a perfect location for family vacations and couple's getaways. The units are are well equipped to meet the needs of those who want to prepare most of their meals during their stay. We look forward to visiting again.

We are owners and use the pool several times a month, year round. It is remarkably clean and they work hard to keep it that way... You constantly see people working on the property every time you visit.

House keeping was slow to bring what we needed when asked. Maintenance was awesome and nice, and not many activities to do with kids due to Christmas week so they were really bored. And heated pool was warmer then outside but not really that hot. But place was nice and things that needed to be fixed were fixed on time.

Staying in "shoulder season" not really certain what we would get. It was a pleasant surprise to find everything so clean. We chose an ADA room though I'm not in a wheelchair yet. The place was extreamly small though there were some efforts made to accommodate disabilities. The zero clearance shower made bathing less perilous and the commode was high enough for ease of use. The bed however was so high it was difficult to get in or out of. As I said it was very small, infact a small single sink and no dishwasher or even a drawer in the kitchen. The sofa is a pull out that cannot be pulled out without moving the kitchen table and/or blocking the bedroom door and consequently getting to the bathroom from the bedroom. There is a front porch and even a small deck with a couple chairs. A screen door would have been nice since it was so nice out. Didn't want bugs or critters....so... mostly just sat outside without allowing the wind to blow away the stuffy inside. Spent the day at the aquatic center. Really very nice.

My family and I stayed in the Townhouse section of the resort for a total of four days and three nights. Overall the facilities were nice. The rooms were very nice, full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit, two full bathrooms, three flat screen TV's (one with a DVD player). The kids enjoyed the pool quite a bit. The Activities Center provides plenty of entertainment: video games, free movie rentals, crafts, tennis/basketball court. Lots of stores and attractions within a 5-10 mile radius including Colonial Williamsburg, Water Country USA, Go-Karts Plus, and Ripley's Believe It or Not (we hit all of them within 2 days). Overall we were very satisfied vacationing at the resort.

UPSIDE: Really great location, beautiful park and outdoor grounds are very well maintained. Separate cottages provide much privacy. Floor plan (2 bd, 2.5 ba) was spacious. Kitchen was nice looking, tile is pretty, washer/dryer were great, paint and window treatments were lovely. Maintenance staff was very polite and responsive as we called for a few broken items upon our arrival and they were there in minutes.
Polite front desk staff. Indoor pool was clean and nice. (Did not visit outdoor pools).

DOWNSIDE: Paper thin walls (you can literally hear everything), super squeaky beds (all 3), dated furniture throughout (couch and carpet looked dirty). Appliances were marginal at best. Upon arriving in room there was a broken ceiling fan light, broken DVD player, pillows did not have pillowcases on them (had to call front desk), lock on master door doesn't work, and weatherstripping on front door was hanging off. The real kicker was on our second night someone from the "concierge desk" called asking how we were doing and if we had made plans for the week. I told her we were going to Colonial Williamsburg and she said she would give us 2 tickets if we attend a 1 hour presentation. Well two of my family members attended and when I went to pick them up after the hour the people at the counter of the clubhouse were very short with me saying they were still in the meeting and I could sit and wait. They wouldn't allow me into the back so I could join them. I had a toddler with me so I went outside. Long story short, they were held hostage for 3.5 HOURS!!! If you don't stay for the whole sales pitch, you dint receive the tickets. I was pissed because we had plans that day we didn't appreciate being deceived like that. If it's 3 hours, say 3 hours so we can make an informed decision as to whether it's worth the huge chuck of our vacation day.

This is the first time share I've stayed at that doesn't look or feel like a time share. The grounds are beautiful, everything is well maintained. The concierge is wonderful and helpful. I received everything that I asked for. Aside from being held hostage for 3 hours for the 1 hour time share presentation this has been a wonderful trip so far. Time will tell whether or not I have to change my review. The only thing that could have been better was having a restaurant on the premises.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit for 3 nights and had family staying in 2 other units as well. The units were not well maintained. The exterior was dirty and the doors did not shut well. My son dropped something under the couch, but we found quite a few unidentified objects so we decided he should just consider it lost. During our stay, we were using the pool with a number of other guests when an employee came in yelling at us to get out as the pool was closed because someone had an accident in it earlier in the day and the water was still being cleaned. However, there was no sign and both the door and the gate were wide open when we arrived. We swam for an hour before being told the pool was closed. The lack of an employee to advise us sooner or to have locked the door to the pool area is very concerning. The area was great and we will return to Williamsburg, but not to stay at Kings Creek.

Buyer beware. We were contacted (not the other way around) to come for a tour. We were told after checking in to be at the meeting at 830 am the next day. Ok, no problem. When we walked in at 8:26 am we were asked to fill out a paper. We then sat and waited for 40 minutes before being called back. We were patient, we understand being busy what we don't understand is why the people walking in after us went back first? Then when we met our rep we told him we waited 40 minutes and he asked if we wanted coffee. Would have been nice to be able to get that while we were waiting... after listening to the presentation, and being told it was going to be quick... lo and behold it's another 60 minutes listening to a woman ramble. Our rep at this point told us he made his boss angry and we were being mistreated so he wouldn't be able to make a sale and he'd get fired. Made us walk to see the property while others were being chauffeured around in golf carts. Please. Just avoid the sales pitch. I don't need someone trying to make me feel like I did something wrong by going on a tour they invited me to do.
If you're not an owner here you'll be treated little better than dirt. Speaking of dirt, the rooms feel dirty and look old. We called for 3 pillows on account that we had 5 people sleeping in a room supposed to sleep six. Was told we could only get 2 extra pillows not 3. Sales rep said after I told him this that if we were owners they'd have brought a whole truckload of pilllows. Provided coffee but no filters for the maker. Only bright side is we will only be spending 3 nights here. Won't come back, bad first impressions.

My wife had an accident at their fault and they did not even have the decency to ask what she okay or anything for over 15 minutes. This place only wants money and cares nothing about the clients. they even called the police on us for her being hurt on their furniture& demanding some help after we spoke to 3 of their workers. They even lead a tour past us as my wife sat in a chair next to broken furniture,as we were asking for help, as if we were not injured. THE BROKEN FURNITURE WAS STILL BESIDE US AS WE WERE ASKING!!!!! this place is a joke

These people and Club Explore don't do their jobs properly. Me parents and I have been trying to reserve to resort rooms for two weeks now and it's almost like people don't know how to do their jobs. It all started when Kings Creek didn't have all of our points up to date and we had to pay $711 for each of resort room out of pocket. We didn't find out we were missing some points until after we paid and had we had all of our points we could've had the rooms free and just have had to pay the maintenance fee.

Nice condo/timeshare. Side of caution is the household items i.e like Trash bags will need to be replenished during your stay. Check the room for all working conditions and appliances. Our coffee maker was broken and it took 3 days to get a replacement by then we left. overall everyone is super nice and willing to help. Family center is great.

I am an owner and the maintenance fees are way too much. They collect fees from 52 OWNERS per year on one unit. Also they have very Little to keep you at the time share. It's been 10 years since I was told they would be building place to bring in entertainment and decent places to eat. When will this truely happen.? Unlike Massanutten they have every at the time share.
