Our cottage was clean and comfortable. The dishwasher broke and maintenance arrived within the hour to fix. They have their own pizza shop that delivers to rooms and pool areas. The staff was awesome! Pools were clean. Definitely recommend a stay.

Great location and well maintained. Stayed in the Estates units. Townhouse style with full kitchen, dining area and loving room. Parking right outside the unit with your own entrance.
3 pools on site. Pool usage avail at 2 hour reserved intervals with cleanings in between scheduled times.
Be prepared to be contacted repeatedly within first 24-48 hours for push to timeshare tour. Even if you firmly decline, rest assured you'll hear from someone else again.
Otherwise, a great vacation resort!
Great location! Stayed here for a vacation to visit historical sites. Rooms are compact, well maintained, relatively quiet and well equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful. Kitchen is very small but functional. Good location for families. Near water park, Bush Gardens, Williamsburg Colony, Yorktown, and Jamestown. Monticello is an easy day trip.

Highs: This place has a beautiful design on the outside, the indoor of the rooms are for the most part. I personally would never want to come again. Lows: We honestly did NOT get any helpful information on our room and all the extra things that we paid for. The master bed have a flat sheet instead of a fitted, which was very uncomfortable to sleep on. You would think that just based on how the outside looked, they would take care of the whole place. They just really don't, if you have like the split level type of placement its absolutely disgusting bugs and webs everywhere and you could tell that they clearly didn't care about the way to your room. The Wi-Fi was honestly terrible, one room had the best connection and that was pretty much it, plus the Wi-Fi was always being worked on. But worst of all with the connection was that you never got it when you actually needed it the most. Going to bed was the worst time over all. When we were all in bed we would hear the people below us actually snoring, yes snoring. The walls were terribly made we could hear through them so easily it was annoying. We had also had some very loud neighbors and when we would call the security guard he would do a poor job at asking and communicating with the people and us. This place was at first looking really, really great but the longer that we stayed the worse it had gotten. We truly had high hopes, but in the end it was a nightmare.

I went with a friend to swim, the view is beautiful and the pools and hot tubs are of a decent size.

We booked two of the units side by side. We loved and enjoyed our stay very much. We asked for the pool to be close by and to stay on the lower level and we sure got it. All the staffs was incredibly nice. We ll definitely return soon.
This is the worst company to do business with......I did not do as much research as i should have before buying into this...(if i could sell i would ASAP)......PLEASE IF ANYONE IS THINKING OF PURCHASING HERE.......THINK 2, 3, 4 TIMES.....AND THEN NO.......LOOKS GOOD....BUT YOU KNOW WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT LOOKS.............I could go on about this, but i believe that you get what i am saying.......JUST SAY NO.........

One of the most amazing places to go with family and friends or just a loved one. Every amenity you can think of, plenty of activities at the resort and the ppl are wonderful. I would suggest that anyone who has the chance to go, to not pass it up. Amazing!
This may be only my second or third review ever, but this group keeps calling my phone trying to offer me some sort of gift and open house opportunity. I have asked 3 times to be taken off their list as I am not interested. They keep calling back. It is spam nonsense. If this is how they market and run their business, everyone should run for the hills away from this place.

The cottages are dated and need repairs. The first unit the toilet overflowed, room door would not shut and the dryer didn't work. They moved us and in the second unit the ceiling leaked in the bathroom. Maintenance came out confirmed the leak and did nothing! Will not return.
We arrived on Friday. Our rooms weren't ready until after 5:30pm, no sheets or pllows were left for the pull out couches, grill was disgusting, air conditioner wasn't working on Wednesday, and smoke alarm went off on Tuesday because something electrical went. I'm so glad we didn't buy into this timeshare.
Clean rooms and smoke heating. There is parking but you may have to park elsewhere if spaces in front of you are full since it's shared with multiple other tenants.
For me, works, really like the place, hope to own, we'll see. Nice place for my own kids and Grands to enjoy time together
Supposed to have had a tour here.... Showed up and they were not staffed for all the appointments that they set up....
Our condo was not ready by 4. We finally got the keys to our room an hour after they told us it would be 20 mins. After driving 8 hours to get here an hour is a long time to wait. Our daughter checked in the day after we did. Her room that was supposed to be ready by 4 was not ready until well after 5.
There was an obvious lack of attention to details by housekeeping. Two of the 3 beds had to be remade. If you are going to use flat sheets as your bottom sheets, please teach the housekeeping employees how to make a bed correctly with them. In a room that sleeps 6 there were only 5 plates and 5 spoons. There were no linens for the sofa sleeper. Cob webs through out the condo. The carpet was very dirty. No frying pan in the unit.
Their activity department is lacking in the activity area. Very little is offered to do on site compared to other resorts we have visited in the Williamsburg area over the last 8 yrs. The employees of the activities department were absolutely wonderful. They did a great job with the little they had available and was on the schedule to do. They were obviously understaffed, which made their job much harder. Even with being short handed they always had a smile on their face and a great attitude.
Sadly not only was our first impression tainted, the last day had its problems too. The key to our unit quit working hours before 10 am check out time. Our son took luggage to our vehicle at 7 and couldn't get back in. Fortunately it wasn't one of those trips that everyone took something out at the same time.
We visited this resort 8 years ago and had a great experience. We were truly looking forward to another great vacation at Kings Creek Plantations. It appears they are more focused on growth, explanation, selling more weeks.... than maintaining what they have and being there for the owners and guests that are using the facilities they already have. We were sent multiple emails to contact "Amy" with any questions we may have. When I finally called with some questions about the activities she told me I would get a paper when I checked in. Then went on with her real reason for me to call to schedule us for a "talk" about the resort. I hesitantly agreed when I was assured we could change or mind if we wanted to once we got there. We decided we didn't want to attend the talk. The person we were sent to, to get our parking pass after we checked in was part of the team that confirmed or set up appointments for the "talk". I told her we weren't interested. She tried gently to convince me to change my mind. Later that evening "Amy" called to confirm our appointment for the "talk". When my husband told her we weren't coming she went into hard sell mode. Finally he had to say what part of we're not coming don't you understand to get her realize that we weren't going to their "talk".
There is a little pool side fast-food place at the Estates pool that is wonderful. Swifty's at Kings Creek. The food is great and reasonable. The young ladies that took our orders and delivered it to us were great. They always had a smile and great attitude. We won't hesitate to get food from there when we come back to Williamsburg even when we stay in a different resort.
I can say without hesitation that we will not be coming back to Kings Creek Plantation. There are so many other great resorts to pick from in the area. I believe if they were the only resort in the area we would not return to the Williamsburg.
Any of these things I mention are not huge. I would have never even mentioned them in a review if it was only 1 or 2 of the things that we experienced. Unfortunately we just kept experiencing one thing after another to the point that something needed to be said, so that hopefully they would address the issues. Yes we shared this with staff and management. We just got the feeling they were patronizing us and had no intentions of addressing the problems.
Kings Creek Cottages offered a great alternative to staying in hotels with our large group. Lots of pools to play in (inside and outside). Proximity to Water Country USA was a plus. Other reviewers seem to be reviewing the sales process instead of the resort.
King's Creek offered quality amenities and All the comforts of home... depending where you live, of course. I had a comfortable stay. The Virginia area was very inviting.

Went there for a viewing of the establishment very nice establishment little bit pushy at trying to sell gave me some awards or some gifts and was never able to use any of them call back to let them know and it was like matter-of-fact nothing was ever done I would not recommend going to see this place although it is very nice the gifts they give you don't pan out to be anything and as of yet no one has ever gotten back in touch with me to rectify the problem
Kings Creek Plantation calls and harasses me every single day and when I called to ask to be removed from their list, they told me I have been removed from their internal list, but they have no say over their outsourced companies calls. I told them I keep getting calls on behalf of them and the manager Angie caught an attitude and told me that they can't do anything to stop the calls and she was nasty to me on the phone My numbers are on the DO NOT CALL registry and still they keep calling me. Now I know why the calls do not stop, the company doesn't have any respect for people or the law. I will be reporting them to the better business bureau (BBB) tomorrow, as well as calling the general manager to let her/him know the way their employees talk to potential clients and the public.
Condos are very nice. 3 pools! Front desk people were very nice. Too bad the salesman didn't have enough patience to explain the pricing to me, I had to pass on the sales deal.
This place used to be great. It is starting to show its age and customer service (unless you're a perspective "owner") is degrading along with it.
Very large spread out, cottage type units. Time share place but you can rent. Outside pool in each area "three" one indoor gym... 5 min from Williamsburg and Bush gardens.
I visited friends from out of town that were staying here. The resort is nice. The rooms in the 2 bedroom/2bath suite were a decent size, not huge. There was enough space for 8 adults to hangout for an afternoon while 8 "small" kids played in the bedrooms. The set-up made it easy for us to hear and see them. Only half of the party spent the night there though. Cool place. Nice size pool and plenty of activities for everyone in the surrounding areae. Relatively quiet in the off season.
Once you're in their system, they keep calling! I already purchased something. I almost want to cancel because my family and myself keep getting calls.

My room, though small, was clean. Sat thru a 90 minute sales pitch that went no where. Good location if you're not interested in going to the beach. Traffic offsite was heavy.

Absolutely Exceptional! This place is wonderful, very clean, and well maintained. They have daily activities for guests for which can partake. Indoor/outdoor pools, spa packages, minigulf, a playground for the energizer bunnies that don't get tired, Karaoke, , , access to a championship course. Though we did not engage in these activities because we were rarely there, we enjoyed the fact that if we wanted to do something, we had options. Looking forward to a return stay!

The pool heater was broken for over two weeks. They we're repairing a room above us with hammers and drills with no thought for the guset below, we had to call in. It was a clean place, but definitely not a three start place at all.
We went for the sales presentation and to tour the resort. All the people were incredibly nice and we never felt pressured to buy anything. The buildings, grounds, and amenities were all beautiful and well kept. I highly recommend considering a visit.

I always look forward to coming to Virginia just to stay here. The cottages are wonderful, it feels like a home away from home, even with 5 people going it was still so spacious. There Are plenty of things to do here, and it s not to far from shopping centers and places to get food.
UPDATE: I use to enjoy coming here until an employee stole my nephews Xbox, management gave my family the run around and did not help the situation at all. We filed a police report and the stolen property WAS found at an employees home. I am so disappointed in the way management handled the situation. My family stayed here many times and it s sad we won t be back because they showed they clearly don t care about their loyal customers.
Everyone was friendly and very polite but I must say I booked two rooms and had a family emergency and had to cancel one but they still charge me would not take in consideration that it was a family emergency and very unprofessional

The structures and grounds are well kept. Service has been pretty good. Amenities are mostly well taken care of. There are lots of things for kids to do including at least three swimming pools. Close to other activities including Busch Gardens and Water County. Home is nice and big with most amenities expected.

We have service dogs that we take to hotels. When we went to this place, we took our neighbor and a couple friends. We had a fun time, but when we got back to our house we found out that they charged our credit card $250 because the dogs left hair all over the place. These idiots were LYING!! First off I have Maltese dogs who DO NOT shed. So we caught them in their first lie. They then continued to question us about our personal disabilities. We showed them the service dog license. They have not right to ask those questions because the American Disability Act (ADA) protects us from those questions. This place SCAMS money out of you they preform unauthorized charges without your knowledge. They get your credit card and keep charging it after you leave. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
I have received multiple unsolicited robocalls from this place with very irrelevant offers, and have also asked to not receive calls, but continue to get them.
Don't do it. Everything they tell you is a complete lie. They told me there would be pets allowed. Nope. They told me a camping coast to coast membership was included. Nope. They told me there was RV parking. Nope nope nope. Thanks TOM!
The security guard flies through double the speed limit and was an ass about the way I was parking and being courteous to my neighbors.
We were also lied to about when we are able to use and book our timeshare.
The physical accommodations are nice but management and some of the staff, as well as the policies leave alot(everything) to be desired.
But what can I do about it? Nothing. Because they make you sign a piece of paper stating you were told the truth and we're not lied to or deceived.

Location is great. Rooms are nice. Went to time share tour. Once they found that we were not intersted we were told we can not dump here anymore. When we checked out they did not ask how was our stay. Had a problem with dryer. Maintance staff was very prompt and efficent.
