Please save yourself the time and energy. I recently purchased a vehicle from ALM. I will say the sales representative was kind and sweet. But the customer service department and Manager for this dealership was awful. Please stay away. I have had problems from my vehicle for the last three months. I have tried to reach Joe, but it seems he has a meeting 24/7 (seven days a week), so returning my call may never happen. The issue surrounds my cars belts which I was told was replaced twice by them but when taken to another shop after the same issues I found that was false. I have been getting apologies without actions behind them. It seem this issue does not bother them and they are pushing me off. One word for the place (deceivers). Please be wise and stay away.

You can sometimes hear horror stories about the experience of buying a new car, but that is definitely NOT true at ALM! I had my eye on a particular car there and traveled from Birmingham to take a look and test drive. Erika made every moment of the experience from beginning to end a real treat. She was friendly and professional and was truly on my side throughout the process. She worked hard to get me the best deal she could and made extra sure I was happy all along the way. I will highly recommend ALM to all of my friends for years to come!

Guess the 4.3 out of 5 rating is for Sales and not Service. Just found out that Kia of Union City moved and is now ALM Kia South. I'm a little disappointed on the customer service side of things over the phone. I purchased my car from the Kia of Union City location 3 years ago and received nothing but the best service from initial purchase of the vehicle to routine maintenance. Although there is a dealership that is closer to my home, I kept going to this location to get my car serviced over the years because the customer service was great and the complimentary oil changes didn't hurt.

I received a Product Improvement Campaign in the mail from Kia Motors America, Inc. for a software upgrade. I attempted to call Kia of Union City which i found out was now ALM Kia South. When I contacted ALM Kia South directly, I was placed on hold for 10 minutes (because I hung up after 10 minutes). I called again and was told that a service technician would have to answer my inquiry about the software upgrade. I was asked for my name and phone number and told that someone would contact me. .....needless to say, no one has contacted me.

I ended up calling the kia dealership that is closer to me and got my questions answered....first try, no warm-up.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY!! This has been my worst experience EVER! Don t be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews before they changed from alm south to alm south Kia....(they got bought out by kia) they had a 1 star review... anyway I bout a 2015 Dodge Charger in April of 2018 the car broke down within 3 months and the warrenty I purchased from them didn t cover anything! I ve traded my car in for a brand new car at a different dealership! I ve been trying to call them CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! Called for over 1 hour today over 30x (hence why I m leaving this review) also when I pitched my car they had the wrong size tires! So obviously they did no inspection to see if anything was wrong with the car they are charging somebody thousands of dollars for!! The belts in the tires kept breaking with is extremely unsafe! This company couldn t be ANY WORSE

They knew that I was an educated buyer but that I needed guidance in regards to which vehicle to choose (p, they had 800 cars on the lot). They were p patient and allowed me time to make p educated decision. I appreciate them as well as delivery specialist Jawon Shaw for walking me thru 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe. Bought a Jeep from this place that was only 2 years old. 2 days after taking it home, it had a messed up cylinder and they fought us staying they wouldn't replace it. Now, 6 months later, it has a messed up compressor that is going to cost $1600. Clearly they don't take care of their cars and don't care about their customers and make them spend tons of money after buying a car from them just to keep it working like it should be if it was bought from a decent dealership.

My ALM South experience. The sales man came out to the lot and introduced himself, he told me he would be inside if I needed him. Then another guy came out after about 45 minutes and introduced himself, and he went back inside as well. At no point did the original salesperson come back out and check if I was okay. I decided to go inside out of the heat. One of the sales man wanted to know if I was ready to buy, REALLY. Then I was welcomed by the receptionist who was pleasant and very delightful which was a plus. I wouldn't recommend any one going there when it's hot, because the staff stay inside, they look out the window at you, while you shop. They will not get my business when they are not doing any work. I wouldn't suggest going there when it's hot.

Service after the sale is severely lacking. I found a truck on the internet at this dealership and decided to purchase it. Throughout the sales process, the staff was friendly and attentive. It was after the purchase that things went bad.
The truck needed a couple of items repaired and they agree to that, but it took two weeks and numerous phone calls to get the parts in. I contacted the salesman to help resolve the situation but he told me "I only sale the car managers deal with after the sale business" and he stopped answering my messages.
When the parts finally came in, it took several tries to schedule an appointment. I left messages and tried the online contact form but no one returned my call. I finally got someone to answer the phone and scheduled appointment and gave them the list of items that needed to be done.
When I took the truck in, I told them the same list when I checked in. A couple of hours later, they said that one part had been installed but the other was incorrect part and would have to be reordered. CSR said I was ready to go, but other items (oil change and cleaning) had not been done. It seems like no one there talks to anyone else.
In all I was there almost seven hours to get the cleaning and oil change done. At this point, I'm still waiting on the other part.
I'll add that at sale, they told me they would try to find a manual in another truck since it was missing from mine. Salesman said he wouldn't forget. As far as I can tell, this was immediately forgotten as soon as I walked out the door.
The explanation for the delay in the parts was that an employee had left and some of the parts he was supposed to order had to be reordered. That may be, but customer service and organization are severely lacking. Phone calls are not returned and there doesn't seem to be much interest in helping once the papers are signed. Other customers that I talked to while waiting on the service had similar experiences.

I like my truck and got a very good deal on it, but don't expect much beyond that.

We are very disappointed with the way we re treated after we paid for the truck we bought one of the employees wrecked it while driving it around we were assured we would get a check, we still have not received it after many phone calls; our next step is small claims court!

ALM need to stop with the fake advertising on these prizes that they re clearly not giving people when the flyer is clearly stating that there s no purchase of a car required. I understand trying to attract more customers to the business, but don t scheme someone into coming to claim a prize just to hassle them into something that they re not there for. This is just sad.

BUYER BEWARE!!! after looking long and hard to find a car , I settled on a car listed online with ALM SOUTH. I flew into the dealership only to be shown a different car, the dealership had the car we had made the deal on, but now they wanted another $1500+ for it. I ended up buying the car anyway for an additional 1000, because it was going to cost me that in travel and lodging to fly back home. I should have walked away, I ended up taking their high pressure (cant say no) sales pitch for the gap insurance. After arriving back at home I was able to really dig into the REAL cost and fees in their gap insurance, I called ALM South within hours of completing the car deal to cancel the gap insurance, I had to pay additional money to cancel the policy. I have finally received what looks to be a partial credit to my account 8 MONTHS, multiple phone conversations, and multiple e-mails LATER!!! The sales lady and dealer ship pulled a bait and switch with the car, the finance guy is playing games with, and cant say no high pressure sales gap insurance. VERY unprofessional , sorta had me over a barrel once getting me to fly in. Dealing with them for 8 months over this GAP insurance has been miserable and time consuming. I could never recommend this place to anyone!!!

My experience with ALM South was amazing. Jeremy and Nate went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. I had been to several other dealerships and had terrible experiences and almost gave up. So glad I didn't, I love my Honda Accord Coupe. Will Green in Finance took time to go over every thing with me. He is knowledgeable and so nice. And he got me a great rate. All the staff was friendly and the all the cars I saw on the lot were in excellent condition. My car was Detailed and ready when I got to the lot to finish the deal. I will Definitively be coming back for my next car and will refer my friends and family to Jeremy.

Do your self a favor an don't buy from them. Have been lied to for over a year and still nothing. Agreed to one price an my bank told me another once my 1st payment came do. Sold a truck with bald tire's an locking lug nuts so that was fun. But that's not the best this is 3rd vehicle we've bought from them with clean carfaxs but when we go to trade them in get notified that they have been in accidents an have damage reported so just please avoid the lies an don't buy from them.

Went to service department with nothing wrong with my car. No lights on the dash lite up and all 4 TPMS Sensors working. Have them install 4 new tires 8 August 2020 and get the car back with TPMS Sensor Fault Light on the dash and none of my 4 TPMS Sensors work now. Still to this day they haven t fixed it and all the attempts I ve made with them I feel at this point they blew me off and don t plan on fixing it. Think twice before bring your car here cause it s not worth all the trouble you have to deal with afterwards to get them to try to fix something they damaged and won t fix.

Buying the car wasn t a hassle. I was able to walk away with the car I wanted for a good price. Even though the price they said they would give us the car for through email wasn t honored, everything worked out eventually. My problem was that the Dealership took over a month to submit my paperwork in order for me to get my tag. My family and I have called multiple times and we were never answered. I understand that things with COVID have made businesses to have a delay when it comes to stuff with people working from home, but not being able to contact the dealership at all is ridiculous.

The only positive experience with this company was Miss Sabrine. Other than her professionalism and genuine concern for what is best for the customer, the other staff was rude and unprofessional. Especially the lady in the office beside Miss Sabrines. I bought a car a month and a half ago and have yet to receive my tags or be able to go pick up my tags. This is not because of something I have or have not done, but is all the dealerships lack of interest for customer service or satisfaction. I have called them repeatedly for two weeks with no luck in getting any help even after calling multiple places for ALM. What is the dealership fee for if they don't do their job? If I could give them negative stars I would.

There is absolutely no way I should have driven off that lot with a car, let alone, the one I wanted. Perry and (financer) Jay worked tirelessly day and night (and I do mean night) to find me my 2013 Chrysler 200. With my credit history, they shocked me. With my inexperience, they taught me and didn't give me that "car salesman" thing that car salesman give. I have literally been walking outside everyday just looking at my car and thanking God for Mr. Perry. His professionalism and how great he works under pressure is definitely to be admired. Go see Perry and get the ride you want. You will absolutely not be disappointed even a little bit.

I would like to share how great my experience was at ALM Kia South in Union City. I had a transmission flush schedule for 7 a.m. From the moment I arrived Mrs. Kim Kellam treated me like I was the only person there and it was her top priority to 1) Keep me informed of the progress of my vehicle and 2) Get me out in a timely manner. She was always pleasant, always professional and even though she always had her mask on I can tell that she always had a smile on her face. As I told Kim my only regret is that I could ONLY give her five stars. She deserves 55 stars. We need a lot more Kim Kellam's in this world.
