There were pickets of our fence that people were breaking, told property manager and they told us to put up a camera and never bothered to come out and fix it. We ve had several other issues like water flooding in our house when running the hose outside that they declined to fix as well. They told us to just fill and sand holes from nails in the house, but decline to tell you that they d take $150 from your deposit to paint those spots. They also take $125 for a professional clean out even though it was spotless when we left so don t expect to get your full deposit back. We had to text the property manager several times about getting the deposit back over a month after we moved out. I m sure if we didn t they would ve just kept the money. They never contacted us about doing a walk through after we moved out so they can say we caused whatever damage and it s their word against ours. They already had someone moved in 2 weeks after we left and it took them over a month to get back to us for our deposit. Unresponsive and cheap management. Never renting from these frauds again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've lived in my rental property for three years, everything was perfect for 2.5 years, till I got a new property manager named Lisa I believe. Since then it's been nothing but harassing and any reason to gripe. I've never missed a payment, always kept the house upkept etc, I was going on military orders so I asked to renew my lease (April) they waited two weeks to send me a 30 day notice, saying they are renovating the outside of a brick house (nothing to renovate), and I needed to be out by July 12ish can't remember exact date, my lease ended on June 30th but wanted to renew early since I was in active military orders and could mean no service etc, well I sent them my orders stating I was in orders till August 1st, they said okay, July 12th comes they send me a 30 day notice saying I need to be out by August 12th (let's do the math, orders end the 1st, have to be out the 12th, that's not 30 days) well my orders got extended till the end of September, and I told them now they are saying I have to be out by August 12th still, and they are willing to give me an extra day to move lol. They don't care that I am on military orders and unable to just drop everything and move, honestly worst property management I have ever dealt with. Since I've been on orders, I have had one whole day to move, other than that I've had if I'm lucky an hour a night to do anything. I will never be renting from this company again.

Oh they said they didn't have to give me 30 days from the end of my orders on August 1st said that the date just had to be after my orders ended. This is not true btw.

Strongly suggest against renting with this company...

Strongly suggest against renting with this company. Many problems with communication with our landlord Steve and the office during our time renting. Ongoing plumbing problems and Kevo has done the minimal amount of work resulting in constantly living with sewage issues. There was a point where sewage was draining into our backyard.

Lawn service is not consistent. Debris from our lawn is constantly flowing throughout the neghborhood which is embarrassing and upsetting to the neighbors.

We are counting the days until our lease is up.

Landlord takes forever to answer my calls or texts, always gives me the runaround, I haven't done anything to make them think that I'm not a good tenant, And yet concerning some very serious things that have happened the last year for me in one of their rentals they really could care less. Terrible people to rent from. All business no humanity.

Gina Goodgion Sent an offer to my realtor on one of my properties by email. They never called her to let her know an offer was even being sent. She saw the email the next day and when she tried to call them / email them/ text them , we did not get a response. Very unprofessional to deal with. Offer they made expires and they still never even returned her call or email.
Be careful dealing with such an unprofessional company.

Average experience with Kevo Property Management. The house was in a decent location. Finishes were cheap and would break often (ie. sink, door knobs, varnish on "refinished" hardwood floors wore off in 6 months, etc.) Kevo raised rent every year. Home repairs were somewhat timely. No matter how clean you leave the property they will take most, if not all of your security deposit. Not the worst, but definitely not the best landlord I've had.

We rented a house through Kevo and had significant problems with communications through their office during the time we lived there and when we were moving out. When we lived in our house, we had ongoing problems with our plumbing. The plumber would come out and do a temporary fix everytime and tell us that a whole new system needed to be put in. Meanwhile living there, it never got put in, which resulted in us living with a broken pipe in our front yard with the sewage from our toliet draining out into the front yard.

Also, we complained constantly about the lawn service that Kevo had doing our lawn and it was never fixed. Our lawn was always in shambles, with debris from our yard blowing everywhere in our neighborhood and greatly upsetting our neighbors. We received many complaints from our neighbors about our lawn. Upon checking out of our house, we were told we were charged way too much for rent the time we lived there, rent that was supposedly going towards maintenence and lawn services.

Needless to say, the time we lived in our rent house, we paid a significant amount towards rent, which included maintenance costs but we never personally saw the benefit from. Everything was put to the way side and not handled in the Kevo office. Upon check out, we were not given the opportunity to do a check out list to compare the condition of the house from when we moved in to when we moved out. We had a viewing crew do a deep clean before we moved out and they cleaned out the house before we moved out. When we received our deposit check in the mail, Kevo charged us an extra cleaning fee when we moved out. The property manager said he was not in charge of writing the checks and was not sure why we were charged that, but when we received our payment in the mail he was the one that had signed off of the check. They have admitted we were overcharged and we were promised a check that we are still waiting on and haven't received.

I would be very leery of doing business with this ...

I would be very leery of doing business with this brokerage. During our closing transactions, our agent along with about 5 other agents in the DFW area had their emails hacked by very sophisticated hackers with a wiring fraud. The hackers had FULL ACCESS to all personal information that our agent had on us and were actively emailing and corresponding with both my husband and I through the email account. They also were able to locate our title agent's email and almost identically replicate an email (that was nearly undetectable) with her signature instructing us to wire all of our 20% down payment and closing fees to a fraudulent account. The worst part is that the company knew other agents had been hacked, but did not make the other agent's aware of any potential schemes. The hackers were able to send out over 1,000 fraudulent emails from our Agent's account due to this. Luckily, I caught on due to a text conversation with my escrow agent and literally shut down the transfer before it took place. Otherwise, we would have been out all of our savings for our new home (literally years worth of savings). I did reach out to Steve Burrow, the CEO of this brokerage and received no response from him or his team. The only help I received was from our Agent at our request and that was limited since the IT team locked her out of her email account. In this kind of market where agents and brokers are walking away with huge checks on average transactions, I would expect more in the Customer Service department from any CEO or brokerage team. I would also expect a more sophisticated firewall from a brokerage so that these levels of FRAUD do not take place.

I strongly suggest you not use this company. They have placed tenants in rentals and it appears that they do not perform proper background checks. We are dealing with a fall out right now from this company and renters to whom they have leased. There are at least 12-15 people living in this residence with heavy traffic day and night. Kevo tried to say it was only two people, but we have reported to them on multiple occasions that there are a slew of people in and out of this home! It is outrageous! Many calls have been made to their organization and they simply do not take responsibility for their poor screening. We now have issues with broken down cars, shady people walking between and behind our homes, urinating and/or using the bathroom outside, and the list goes on and on. We are constantly having to fight a slew of "non quality" renters and are hoping to ban renting all together in this particular neighborhood through a covenant modification with the city.

It would be in your best interest to ask where some of their rental properties are and make a visit - TALK TO THE NEIGHBORS and see what kind of company they are - because I assure you the reviews will NOT be good. Talk to some of the property owners who used them. They are only in it for their little commission and could care less about the quality of the neighborhood or your property they are ruining with substandard renters. Not only that - the property owners are going to have to end up doing repairs because of Kevo Properties. If you MUST use them - make them write in the contract THEY are responsible, KEVO is responsible to repay and repair at their expense, damages and other property issues caused by their tenants. Watch how fast they knee jerk! Have you tried to call the company? Give it a try and see what you get. Good Luck! This company is a joke!

Awful experience, Agent Ethan Burris the son of the owner of Kevo properties seems to get away with everything he wants.

Agent Ethan forgot to submit the TRR in time,2 days later, buyer backed out of contract 9 days before closing, Agent wont return phone calls.

Don't ever do business with this realtor. At least not with the son of the company.

Grow up and be a man next time.

A pain to deal with, unresponsive when we needed them most.

Brett Creager and his team did not return calls to the real estate team we were using and overall hurt our home buying experience. The day we signed almost got pushed for a 3rd time because of their inability to answer their phone and return calls....c'mon guys customer service is everything in this game. You will not be getting any positive feedback from this guy or his wife.

One list thing. They left the key-lock-holder on our new door handle making it inconvenient to grab the handle and damaging our door somewhat along with "Allowing us the privilege of storing their yard sign" for almost 3 weeks. I almost bought a pair of lock cutters and snipped it off to throw away along with the yard sign.

step up your game Kevo.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
1. My realtor showed up to a viewing drunk.
2. They get defensive if you ask them questions and just tell you to trust them. I never got a clear answer and I had to go elsewhere to get the answer. They always pulled the " I have been doing this for many years, I know what I'm doing" card but it was my first time buying a home and they were not helpful.
3. I was passed around, half of the time I didn't know who I was working with.
4. The "trusted" people they use for inspections are not reliable. I found a bunch of mistakes the guy overlooked or "problems" that he found that were really not a problem.
5. They are not timely.
6. I didn't feel my realtor was working for me. When I asked her to do something she would always shut it down or try to find the easy way out.
7. I got my house but, only because other people helped me.

If I had to do this over again, I think I rather be homeless than to EVER work with KEVO again.

I loved our rental and everything seemed promising...

I loved our rental and everything seemed promising and fair. Had a few issues with getting repairs, but let it go. What really got to me was the deposit check. We did so many repairs and hours of cleaning just to have a $300 cleaning fee taken from us. There were also things left in the backyard that were on the property when we moved in (fire pit, lawn chairs) & we got slapped with a $100 "trash out" fee. No check in or check out list. I loved that home and not only kept it immaculate during our stay, but made sure we left it that way. Will avoid anything having to do with Kevo from now on.

For urgent issues, there doesn t seem to be anyone available until a few days after maintenance requests have been sent in. My AC went out several hours ago and no one has yet to reply or get back with me. It s hot in the middle of August in Oklahoma if you didn t know.

The worst property mgmt company in all the land! They are rude, unprofessional, and incompetent! If u rent from them u will regret! Make sure u check ur lease carefully because they will not do anything for pest control. My property has mice so bad and I ve reported it several times and nothing was done.

I am absolutley disgusted with how Casey Tuter treated some young kids at an open house I attended today. I was touring with my wife and there were these kids there who had apparently lived in the house just before it went on the market. One of them I guess found pictures of their family on a shelf and was reminiscing with friends in the living room when this Casey guy came up to them and rudely forced them out. Seriously? I saw him rip the photos out of the kids hand! What is wrong with this man? They weren't even being disruptive or rude!! I was sick to my stomach. How could this company allow such a horrid and compassionless man try to sell a house to a family if THATS how he treats kids?! I pray for those kids because I overheard them saying things like "I'm gonna miss this place" and this Casey guy won't let them come to peace with the loss of their own house? Now I don't know the full story but if I was selling a house and the kids of the seller came to see it go I would give them their peace and privacy! Disgusting Casey Tuter! I will NOT be touring with this heartless company EVER again!!

My property owner sold the home I live in which was under a great management company to a new owner who has a contract here. This company has ZERO focus on the rental side of their business, most obviously stated by the fact the the card I received for my new "Property Manager" said REALTOR on it, which tells me that they only care about the sales. I'll list off all of the issues that my last PM did not have.

-Maintenance line is 9-5 M-F only, so if my place floods, guess I'll just have to buy a boat, and the heat is out on a Sunday so hopefully the pipes won't freeze.
-No 24 hour notice was given during the roof/gutter replacement.
-Parking lot is consistently obstructed, and it is illegal for me to park on the street in front of my building, as it is within 25 feet of a stop sign.

I went with this home to get away from these issues, but only ended up right back where I was. Luckily I have 6 months until my lease is up.

I would not recommend dealing with this company unless you like to get screwed around constantly!! No communication, guy named Brandon doesnt understand text messages lol this is a grown man??! There is nothing positive I can say about this company, and the people that work there. So I will just leave this as fair warning! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
