Don't believe the fake positive reviews. THIS IS SCAM. They told me they could recover my data, following their diagnosis on my disc. I paid a deposit of about $250 with their promise that my data would be available within a few weeks. Weeks went by with no information or just assurances that the work was proceeding and they faced challenges (that were not disclosed to me when they did the diagnosis). Then 2 months later they told me they could not recover any data. They said they would refund my deposit, but that was over a week ago and nothing has been refunded and they are ignoring my questions about when the refund will be made. Beware!! They seem to be inept or running a con job. See the other similar reviews with the same story before you pay them anything.... Update. Another couple weeks and still nothing. Such a SCAM!!!

In July, 2019 my hard drive crashed. When I called this company up, they were very convincing and would not stop calling me and pestering me to find out when I was taking the hard drive to them. This went on for about a week and sometimes they would call me twice a day. When I eventually went to their offices, the person I met told me that they would definitely recover my data but that i needed to pay the 30% service fee. The office is located in Centro House in what seems to be a dodgy set up because there was no sign board with the company name. I even asked to see their "laboratory" and the guy seemed surprised and uneasy at my request. He told me that the technicians were using the lab and therefore I could not be allowed access. I put my doubts aside and went ahead and paid the 30% Service Fee. After that I did not hear from them for weeks! Every time I would call, they would not answer my call or say that they would call me back but never did. Eventually at the end of October, I called and threatened to go to the police and report their suspicious activities and finally got and email response early November saying that my data could not be retrieved and at the same time offering me data back up solutions! This may be a scam to collect the service fee from unsuspecting desperate citizens.

Poor services from this company, i feel cheated. i visited their office everything is questionable. Poor communication, i had to follow up and ask questions throughout the process, it took a month to get final update, i think the positive reviews here are fake, ask questions, ask to see their director before you leave your equipment with them. Ask for your equipment back once the assessment is done, i doubt if they have the lab in their office.

I have proof of messages and emails which most of them bounced going to the company director, i doubt if he exist, i asked many times for him to call me but in vain. These kind of comments will be flooded above with fake positive reviews and disappear.

My hard drive felt and I could not open it. I went to East Africa Recovery Data and after doing the evaluation of the device they told me the data was recoverable and they asked me 680 USD for it. After discussing I end up paying 580USD, they told me it would take 1-2 weeks. I wait for more than 2 months! And from 2TB they only recovered 4,8 GB! Unbelievable, I feel cheated
