Love the product and service I received from Kenny s! Their staff is so professional and did an amazing job. I selected Kenny s to do my complete house in carpet and tile after searching multiple options. The quality of the wood grain tile I chose from Kenny s by far exceeded what I could find in the Kansas City market. I needed something both beautiful and durable. In addition Chase recommended heating the floors and I am so thankful I did. It is something I would not have considered but love the end result. My tile floors are cool in the summer and in the winter help to warm the house and also feel great with bare feet. My installation was over a year ago and the durability of the tile is amazing. In addition my house if over 20 years old with various degrees of settling, but the installation is smooth and level throughout a large multi-room area. I highly recommend Kenny s. Everything was completed as committed and there were no unexpected surprises. Thank-you to Chase and his team for a great product and experience!

Horrible experience. We used Kenny's Tile for five baths, the kitchen backsplash and a laundry room in the construction of our new home. Obstructionist selection process by withholding pricing until months after the selection. Ignored repeated emails and phone calls. Incorrect measurement estimates and pricing. Work strung out over many weeks, resulting in construction delays. Different installer every week who complained about poor quality of the prior installer. Poor workmanship with crooked, mis-cut tiles, sloppy grout, and amateurish finish. Washed out mortar buckets in new sod. Ignored layout instructions and had to rip out showers/tub surrounds in first two baths. Tiled shower to wrong height in other bath requiring us to locate and purchase additional tile. Used wrong grout color in next bath and attempted to correct by 'coloring' it by hand. Ripped this one out two months after move-in and parked trailer in drive, blocking access to garage and to front walk. Promised to provide trim pieces in last bath at no additional charge in order to dissuade us from purchasing externally; then did not install trim. Excuses in lieu of empathy or apologies. You can't go wrong by steering far away from this business.
I used kennys tile on a remodel project in my home. The tile guys worked efficiently, cleaned up well afterwards and were always on time. I love the new shower tile!!!! Call and ask for Zeb!!! Thanks again!
Nothing but great things to say about Kennys! I had a stress free experience every step of the way. They took time to answer all of my questions and were always available for me. Kenny's tile does excellent work. They did our new home 17 years ago and we are looking forward to them doing our new home we are planning to build in 2018.
Extremely rude! I worked with a Builder who uses them a lot and was told to go through them for everything. The man who I worked with for tile was great....but the designer and especially the front desk were RUDE! House looks great but I wouldn't ever use them for anything else on my own. They might need a course in Customer Service!

We are very pleased with the work that we got done from Kenny s. Mark Perschau led our project, which included hardwood refinishing, tile floor, new countertops and backsplash. Mark stayed in constant contact with us throughout the project and often beat the deadlines along the way. My husband and I recently had our bathroom redone and could not have done it without the exceptional work done by Kenny s tile! They were extremely professional, timely and most importantly, precise with their tile & stone installation. I called up to Kenny's Tile on Saturday. I needed a tile and a sealer that I ordered a few years go. Of course I couldn't remember what the tile or Sealer was called. I spoke to Abby and I must say customer service is superb here at Kenny's. She was so friendly and bubbly. After some searching and digging we discovered the tile and sealer that I needed for my weekend project. She had the order already written up and the materials ready to go. I showed up and left in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend this company. Not only for customer service that I received but also how promptly they figured out my order and how fast I was in and out of the building. We are building a home and visited the showroom late last night close to closing hours. The receptionist was very nice and said to browse even though we walked in late. Very nice and puntual folks here. Very nice and will greet you with a smile. They offer cookies and a great coffee bar. We didnt have an appointment but the lady at the front desk said we can browse even without an appointment. The hardwood selection is massive of all the choices and the tile you can get lost in. So many choices to choose from. My wife and I will certaintly go with a builder that uses Kennys for their flooring.

We had Kennys do our hardwood floors twice, an install and a redo. Both were outstanding jobs. We turned the house over and left town both times. They made sure it was perfect! I would recommend them to everyone I know!
The floors in our brand new home were damaged when final finishing work was performed before we closed on the house. Kenny s sent Steven J to repair the damages. Given the extent of the damage, I was skeptical that the repair work would be satisfactory. WOW was I wrong. We were gone for the week and when we returned the floor was repaired and looked FANTASTIC. Steven promised us he could fix the damaged areas and he delivered. If ever in need of work on our floors in the future, I will contact Kenny s and ask for Steven. Thanks Steven !!!!!
Mark has kept us informed of progress throughout the project and the tile is expertly laid. Took great care not to create mess or generate dust and they clean up each day before they leave.Very happy.
Very Clean and Professional place. Walked in for my first time and they have the sanitary stations ready and a mask if you did not bring one in and gloves. We had a fantastic experience with Kenny's Tile. Had a slight emergency with an upstairs bathroom drain leaking. That led to a complete redo of the shower area. Kenny's was professional, clean, and most importantly quick. Our amazing new shower was done in a blink for a great cost. We will do business with them in the future.

Today I experienced a rare act of kindness (in today's atmosphere) by an employee of Kenny's Tile & Floor Covering. I recently moved to a new subdivision that is having delivery difficulties with the east and west address of my street. This employee was working in an empty unit on the east street when a fed ex package was delivered. He was kind enough to drive to the west address to deliver my package. I am extremely grateful for his honesty and for taking an extra step to make a wrong a right. Kenny's Tile has an honest, ethical and caring employee who should be appreciated for his qualities that are often lacking in today's times! I failed to get your name, but thanks a million!
During some construction, some damage was done to a floor done by Kenny's last year. I called for stain color etc, they couldn't find the file. I set an appointment to get an estimate for refinishing the floor, a 2 hour window, no one showed up. I got a call an hour in to waiting and was told that no one would be showing up. Some kind of lame excuse about the appointment being taken over the phone. I left message for manager to call me, no return call. I left message for the owner, a Mr Siebert, to call me, which he did. He was EXTREMELY rude, kept interrupting me as I tried to describe my situation., telling me they were extremely busy. Maybe so, but that's no excuse for such poor service and total rudeness. I told him their customer service sucked, and he hung up on me. A complete waste of my time.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Kenny tile. I am so happy I went through them in my home renovations. All started with the first phone call. I called to schedule an appointment and Abby the receptionist got me in within the week! My estimator Mark came out and answered all my questions promptly. He gave me an estimate within a week and it was VERY VERY VERY reasonable. The men came out id say around a month. The men completed my tile work and hardwood floors! NEVER BEEN HAPPIER! I beg you and everyone that inquires about getting remodeling done or installation work call them!!
Not a good company to choose at all! We've been waiting almost 2.5 months for this remodel in our bathroom to even get started we were going to have them do our tile work after we gutted the room and we have only had one running bathroom since! Time to find a NEW company..
We just had our great room floors and dining room floors, along with a fireplace tiled by Kenny's Tile and everything looks spectacular. Jeff Siebert got us set up to go and Justin and Austin came in and knocked out the job. Everybody was polite and pleasant to work with. We absolutely love it! (They even got it done a day and a half sooner than the estimated time! How often do you hear that?) I would recommend Kenny's Tile to anyone who is looking to tile a project.
Kenny's Tile is highly unprofessional and does not care about the consumer. They made multiple mistakes in the planning stages of our project that did not come to light until our third trip to their store to finalize a template layout for our project. All of our measurements for countertops were provided to Nancy (sales rep) on the first visit and unbeknownst to us, she made critical mistakes. They (management team) would not stand behind their mistakes: 1.Giving away a piece of our book end reserved granite 2. Allowing us to select a piece of granite on the first visit and plan our project around that piece of granite, even though it was too small for our project. Their solutions: 1. Select another piece of granite that was the same price (we live 2 hours away, so to take a sample home and re-work our whole project based on similar, yet different colors would not be a quick or easy undertaking). 2. Select another piece of granite that we knew would work based on color (we had already taken a sample of that home at an earlier visit) and pay 1000.00 more for our 2nd choice granite. We also found out on this finalizing visit that our backsplash installation was going to be approximately 1300.00 dollars more than estimated! We tried to contact Brad, the general manager by phone, but never were able to speak with him. The only communication we had from Brad, was that he was reading our emails and would talk with Nancy. We never heard from the owner (Tony) and we emailed him all of our correspondence with Brad and Nancy. We asked that Kenny's honor our original pricing and provided detailed information of their mistakes and received Kenny's response in an email: "After much consideration, the Management Team at Kenny s Tile has decided to refund your deposit in full. It is unfortunate that the Caravellas slab is four inches too short to make it work in the best visual direction. While the slabs can certainly still work, as we saw on Friday that does necessitate additional seams which are less desirable to you. " Who wants ADDITIONAL SEAMS and a LESS THAN DESIRABLE VISUAL DIRECTION when you are paying greater than 5,000 for countertops? I could have achieved a similar final product by piecing samples together. Kenny's does not stand behind their mistakes. If it is money out of their pocket, then they dismiss you. We invested 12 hours of driving, gas expenses and time off of work to finalize our project with Kenny's. We are thankful that we were refunded our deposit and after being treated so poorly, did not proceed with the installation phase. Kenny's may be a family owned business for over 50 years, but it has long lost it's quality, service and standard of excellence. I would highly recommend avoiding Kenny's Tile and Flooring at all costs. There are many other businesses who provide the services Kenny's provides and you wouldn't have to look far to obtain a higher standard of service than Kenny's currently provides.
Kenny s installed my hardwood floor when I buiIt my home two years ago so I called them to request a bid for repair the latter part of June. I was told that Jesse, the hardwood floor manager, would be at my house on June 20th between 9 10 a.m. I waited until 11:15 and no one called or showed up. I called to let them know that no one called or showed up and that I had to leave. A few minutes later, Jesse called me and rescheduled for July 2. He did show up on July 2nd and told me that he d email a bid to me that evening but I never received a bid. I called twice and left messages as well as left a voicemail on his cell phone asking him to call me as I had not received his bid but never had a reply. On Monday, July 23rd, I called and spoke with the receptionist and explained that I hadn t had a reply from Jesse and asked if someone else could help me and she apologized and said that she d talk to Jesse s boss, Shawn. A few hours later I had a call from Shawn who told me that he had talked to Jesse and that he (Shawn) would email a bid to me that evening. Never heard back from Shawn or received a bid. Five days later, I called back and spoke with the receptionist (Titiana) again and explained that I still hadn t received a bid from Shawn either and asked her to give him a message from me that Jesse and Shawn had wasted a lot of my time and that I was very disappointed with the way they dealt with me and that I would definitely not be doing business or recommending Kenny Tile in the future.
I see from many of the reviews I read here that many others have had the same unprofessional no call, no show very poor customer service experience. Don t waste your time with Kenny s!!
I would give 6 stars if I could. Kenny's Tile was great - Jeff Siebert was easy to work with, and made the whole process stress free. Kenny's has huge selection. Installers were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again.

We are so happy with our master bathroom remodel from Kenny's Tile! After several disappointing estimates from other contractors, we chose Kenny's because of the recommendations from friends. The entire process was terrific! Mark Perschau oversaw and made sure everything was finished beautifully. His contractors were top-notch and perfectionistic. My husband and I visited Kennys Tile over the weekend. I can honestly say that the level of customer service in this place is phenomial. We walked in and immediatly was greeted at the door. Asked if we visited there before and told him what we were looking for. Not only did we accomplish a total bathroom remodel but we also got samples for every tile and quartz we selected. An estimator is coming out to our house for installation price. Talk about a one stop shop. We highly recommend this company to anyone that was fast and efficent work done. Very impressed.

What terrible communication! I wasn't even able to use these folks for my tile, hardwood, and coutertop needs because they never showed up for their appointment. When I called to verify if they were going to be late or needed to reschedule, I was sent to a voicemail. I called back, spoke with an interior designer who answered the phone and was reassured they would 'call me right back'. No call was received. An hour later, I called back and got a voice message that they were closed for the day. The next morning I was sure someone was going to call me back. At 12:30pm when no one had called, I called back to speak with a manager. He assured me someone would call me back. Still, no call. I wouldn't want someone to complete work on my house that can't show up for scheduled appointments and give a simple phone call back x3. Very dissapointed potential customer.
Kenny's did a great job extending hardwood floors where tile previously existed and completely refinishing hardwoods in our home. Their work is fantastic. It gets better ..
Pricing is per square foot. No BS upselling or add-on fees after the fact. Even when we had changes (like let's do this room too), the costs were simple math. When the bill came, it was exactly what the estimate said it would be.
The guys love what they do and it shows. Their quality is top notch. We went with their color recommendation. The look is exactly what we wanted.
They worked around my schedule and did the work on the schedule we agreed to. I wasn't even in town when the work was done. How is that for confidence!
We just had the tile around our fireplace removed and replaced with stone & had a hearth installed. Steve did the work & he was excellent! He was very thorough & paid attention to detail. We couldn t be more satisfied with the work & would recommend him & the company.
Kenny's has been great about coming back out and touching up grout or the hardwood floors when needed even if the builder wasn't going to help! They stand by their products/work.
I was referred to Kenny's Tile by a friend of mine...BEST referral I've ever been given!! I showed up with my color palette and Adrianna helped me every step of the way!! She took time to show me all the different options for my budget. She put together an amazing looking backsplash!! She ordered samples and kept me posted throughout the process. I also had Kenny's Tile do our granite countertops in our basement kitchen! They did such a good job with everything else that I had them do our marble countertop in the bathroom as well. I'd use Kenny's Tile again for sure!!!
Planned to do a full kitchen remodel and had someone come out and take notes on not only the kitchen, but also two bathrooms. After weeks of waiting and calling the office, we didn't even receive an estimate.
I will say that the place has a great selection and we easily found exactly what we wanted. We were very disappointed that we had to start all over again.
Update: Forget Kennys, a dysfunctional company. Use Midland Marble instead.
Horrible customer service? When they make a mistake, they will not admit to it or apologize. They are more interested in taking the customer for more money. Our plans to upgrade our kitchen have been put on hold because of a mistake they made. After we brought it to their attention, they reviewed it and their "Management Team" decided to not follow through with the project. No reason given, they just quit. Don't believe the positive google reviews.
When we have a design project Carrie Broome is our go-to pro! At the Kenny's Showroom Carrie helped us make the perfect tile selections for our entire house. Working with Carrie is a dream.
VERY HAPPY WITH MY SERVICE FROM KENNY'S. WE DID A HOME RENOVATION FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. THE LEVEL OF QUALITY EACH CREW MEMBER POSSESSED WAS PHENOMENAL. WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS OR WANTED SOMETHING FIXED/CHANGED THEY DIDN'T HESITANT. THEY MADE SURE MY HUSBAND AND I WERE HAPPY. NOT TO MENTION THE PRICE FOR THE TILE/CARPET AND GRANITE I ADDED IN MY HOME WAS EXTREMELY REASONABLE. I'D RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY 10 TIMES OVER. WHEN WE NEED ANY MORE UPGRADES I WILL CALL THEM.

Kenny s tile also was kind enough to offer my husband a job a while back when he was laid off. All around great company!
I bought a little fixer upper house and hired Kenny's Tile for new carpet in my bedrooms and on my staircase, hardwoods throughout my first level, a new backsplash in my bathrooms and kitchen, and granite countertops in my bathrooms.
The Kenny's guys exceeded my expectations with their professionalism and knowledge. They arrived early each morning, and their work areas were cleaned spotless every night before they left. They were all guys I would trust working in my house without me being home. I am very happy with the Kenny's Tile workers and the company's wide selections and options - I will only use Kenny's for any future renovation.
A few other gold stars for Kenny's ... 1- After my renovations were done, we had a big rain storm in Lees Summit and water got into my basement soaking my new carpet. Kenny's was able to quickly get me on the schedule. They rolled my carpet up for me, cleaned and dried up the water mess, and even got rid of the ruined carpet. This was such a relief. I also ended up having Kenny's tile my basement floors and shower, and they did a beautiful job on this too. 2- My dog scratched at the carpet/hardwood line on both my upstairs bedrooms. Kenny's sent out a carpet guy that day who stretched my carpet for me in less than 10 minutes.
I have had several family members, my mom, dad, brother, uncle, and friends who have also used Kenny's Tile and were very pleased with everything - not one complaint. My dad is a builder, and he uses Kenny's for his top jobs. He is now building houses in Arkansas and still uses Kenny's. The travel fees are worth it to him and his home owners just to have the peace of mind that their projects will be done with the utmost quality in all aspects that you get when you use Kenny's.
Highly recommended! I wouldn't refer you anywhere else.

Good on the install. TERRIBLE on the follow up. I would not recommend. While on hold (ignore) the young lady griped to a co-worker about another disgruntled customer for about 3 minutes. Without pause she came back on and said I can't find what you need. I KNOW she didn't even look. There's much more to this story but enough with the rant.

I called this company to come out and give a flooring estimate for leveling and installing porcelain tile in my entire house. I waited in my car, running the air for one hour and 45 minutes, and he did a no - show. He was due at 4:00 to 5:00, and at 4:30, I called the office because no one had called saying they're on the way and the receptionist said he's still coming and he'll call when he's about there. So, at 5:05 he still wasn't there, so I called the office back, only to get a recording they're closed. I waited a little longer in case he got held up, and finally left at 5:45. I called the office the next day, requesting the manager, and the receptionist wouldn't let me talk to him, and said she will forward the message. Then, she had the nerve to ask if I want to reschedule. Ummm, NO. They just lost thousands of dollars of business.
We had our 25-year-old home with wood floors sanded and refinished. The sanding created very minimal dust as their trucks gather the dust. They sanded in one day, put three coats of finish in the next two days, and we are very pleased.
Another successful project with Kenny s! I ve been using Kennys since I had to pinch pennies on a project all the way to now when we needed the perfect wire brush finish on hardwoods for a whole main level. The entire team was great to work with, accommodating, professional, clean and efficient from measure to installs to paying invoices. Almost makes us look forward to the next remodel! Just kidding- not the case but would most definitely recommend Kenny s to anyone.
Horrible Experience!!! We used Kenny's Tile for wood floors, tile, and carpet in a new house we had designed and built for us. We consider all of Kenny's Tile services rendered at our house substandard at best. Our wood floors have gaps you could drop a quarter thru that run the length of two rooms. We're talking 42 feet! Many of the boards pump when you walk on them and several have large holes filled with epoxy, that is now popping out! The tile we chose was installed without any consideration given to color variances in the individual tiles. We have all light colored tiles blocked on one side of a bathroom, and darker tiles blocked on another. Walls and Floors! These tiles should have been mixed up a little for the best look. What's worse is they managed to do this same shoddy work in two bathrooms! I'm also sorry to say, we had problems with the carpet too! We wanted to upgrade the carpet throughout our new house, but after several attempts we could never get SEAN to give us the price per yard or foot. We ended up going with the builders grade that was included in the build. Problems with Kenny's Tile trickle down from the top, to the installers! They made what could / should have been a good experience with beautiful results, into a NIGHTMARE! There are companies out there that will do wood floors, tile and carpet with professional results. Kenny's Tile was not one of them, for us. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
Very Happy with all the work we had done through Kenny's. The design team helped us make sure everything flowed, they took a lot of stress and pressure off us trying pick everything out. Zeb was so easy to work with, answered all our questions, easy to communicate with and always made sure we were happy with the outcome. We will be using Kenny's for all our future projects!

I ve used Kenny s Tile for an extensive renovation in our previous home and for many areas (tile and counter surfaces) in our new home. Without exception I ve experienced prompt responses to whatever I ve needed, enjoyed an extensive selection of products in their showroom, courteous and knowledgeable employees, and excellent service when I ve needed any follow up appointments. Despite dealing with a very large volume of work, they re still able to deliver personalized and exceptional quality results in any area I ve used this company. We had Kenny's replace the old carpet in one room of our house with beautiful tile. The showroom was very extensive, but when we didn't find exactly what we wanted, Nancy helped us get it by special order. Mark Perschau managed the bid and installation, and we were quite happy with the results. All 3 of the guys involved in the carpet removal and tile installation were great to work with and wore masks as we requested. We could not get any response from your rep who came and took measurements. Destiny never returned my calls and never sent an email with any estimate after about 3 weeks. We went with Midland Marble. They had great customer service. Got back with us in couple of days with estimate. Will not recommend your company to anyone.
Kenny's Tile replaced some damaged wood planks, replaced some sub flooring, and sanded and stained two rooms in our house. The workers were professional and prompt. They were also exceptionally patient as I chose the appropriate stain color since it needed to coordinate with existing cabinetry. They did a fabulous job of protecting my house's carpets from the stain, too. I'm very happy with their service!
We worked with Tiffany Rupp at Kennys Tile. She is the best!! We loved working with her. Tiffany is talented and has such a great expertise in pulling designs together. We did the entire house-which was a big project. She made the process stress free, enjoyable and exciting. Tiffany is a true professional. We built a new home & had Kenny s install wood floors in our entire main floor. They were fantastic & the floors looked great. Due to builders error a section of the floor was damaged by water. They were great at coming back & replaced the area with new boards. Did a great job matching it back in & looks perfect.
We used Kenny s Tile for our hardwood flooring, tile flooring, backsplash and granite for our new build. Their service has been second to none and their showroom is full of many great options. We especially appreciated the help of their in house designer Carrie. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all of their products and was great at providing options and help with choices within our style and theme. Would recommend to friends for sure!
