Somehow lacking in good information and history for such an amazing part of Americana.
Trying too hard to be like Disney in both pricing (you'll even have to pay to park!) and lines.
Despite this, if you love space and NASA, there is a lot to be amazed by when it's fully open.

Nice place to walk around and check out the history of our space adventures. You really get a feel for the scary life threatening journey these astronauts took. The Atlantis is a must see attraction because it s amazing how big this thing really is. For us the line was about 10 minutes to go see. 5 minute move. Then you go in another room to see another 5 minute movie. Finally it opens up where you see the shuttle and other various history facts. Lastly there is a simulator ride that is about 5 minutes for the ride but 10 minute line before going into another room with another 5-8 minute movie. The movie makes you think you are going into a verticals position but you are not. The simulator is just a small incline but shakes a lot and makes you feel like you are being pushed ini the seat with g forces. It s more than fine for little kids and you should see unless you re clostrophobic. The rest of the park was kinda barren. Mostly just a bunch of movies to watch and you get to see actual memorabilia surrounded by many gift shops. there was an indoor playground that entertained the kids more than anything else did. Was a little nervous because once your kids go inside it s difficult to see where your kid is and what s going on. Dozens of screaming kids. If something happened I would be concerned on how I could easily reach them. We went to say we did but otherwise I see no reason to go. For me the whole experience was lackluster. A day would be better spent on the beach rather than shlep around in the hot sun.

A gerat day out, and well worth the visit if you a Tec / Space Fan, the bus tour to the Saturn 5 Rocket Hanger from the Main visitor area is a MUST DO, ditto for the Shuttle Atlantis in the main visitor area. The most striking thing for me was the "sheer fragility" of the equipment and the space crafts themselves, your expecting to see shiney glistening "bullet proof" Space Crafts, there not.... its the charred remains of the actual space crafts used. Thoes were indeed very brave men, very lucky to make it home. This really becomes apparent, when you examine the engineering close up!

Loved the visit. Loads to do and see. Interesting on all the history and what's happening now. Quite a few shows which are good but one cinema trip after another becomes tedious. Prices are reasonable. Parking is good and cheap.

Great experience! Very professional and fun, unlike many of the trourist trap parks and sites in the Orlando area. Great exhibits that make you think about being an astronaut. At the least, it moves you to follow and support the space program. Still in awe over what I saw. Great visit!

The whole family was and is excited! My children also had the opportunity to meet an astronaut. He was very nice and signed all of our t-shirts and books. Incl. Photo. Very informative and something for everyone. My son now has a new dream job. Scientists :-) It was much cheaper than Disneyland and universal studios, but even the youngest (7 years old) liked it at least as much. Great IMAX films and lots of things to touch for the kids.

First time going. Enjoyed the bus tour, Atlantis shuttle ride experience, etc. Make sure you come early since the park closes at 6. If you're looking for extra experiences make sure to book ahead and plan a second day.

A must visit for kids and grownups. lots of good info which we don't usually get to know anymore. Liked the shows, especially about the story behind Space Shuttles and future expeditions planned for Mars. The shuttle launch experience ride was super cool as well as the opportunity to actually touch a moon rock, how many of us get the opportunity to touch something that was part of the moon?

If you've never been or been 100 times this is a fascinating adventure. The history and lore is incredible it will give you goose bumps at times, maybe a tear or two but will also make you proud of our American Space program.

MAGNIFICENT ! I do it again gladly a tour because despite the price quite excessive it's worth it, we spent the day there and we did not bored for a minute! PS: If you do the bus ride, get on the right side of the bus otherwise you will not see much;)

Awe inspiring for the most part, but would be much better if every experience didn't attempt to force you through a green screen photo op. When we politely declined to have our picture taken we were met with a bad attitude from one employee. Everyone else was fine, just one staff member snapped at us. The bus tour to the VAB and launch pads was really cool.

Perhaps because it was a child's dream. Perhaps because I watched rocket launches on TV as a child. For me it was a dream come true. Perfect organization. At least 4 hours of visit. I lived every minute of emotion.

Did the "Fly with an Astronaught" experience. Outstanding. Everything done very well. Astronaught Dr. Don Thomas was exceptional, shared personal stories, explained the nuts and bolts of being an astronaught. Truly an enlightening experience.

We enjoyed our very interesting tour of the Kennedy Space Center. I'd recommend taking the extra bus tour which drives your around the area in about a 2 hour time span. Lots to see and learn here about this very important historical place.
